James Carville rips young ‘snot-nosed’ progressive staffers for hurting Harris campaign ‘Huge f–king error’

Veteran Democratic Party strategist James Carville scorched young progressives in the Harris campaign, arguing that their role in scuttling her interview with Joe Rogan helped cost her the election.

A campaign official said earlier this month Vice President Kamala Harris backed out of appearing on “The Joe Rogan Experience” because of “concerns at how the interview would be perceived within the Democratic Party” and “backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it.”

Now, as numerous political commentators continue to debate how the Rogan snub hurt Harris, Carville blasted the influence of the staffers.

“The vice president was thinking about going on Joe Rogan’s show and a lot of the younger, progressive staffers pitched a hissy fit,”  Carville said Tuesday on Politicon. “Supposedly the campaign said that wasn’t a determining factor, but they did.”

“When you put a campaign together and you hire young people to do work, let me tell you exactly what you tell these people. What I would tell them: ‘Not only am I not interested in your f—ing opinion, I’m not even gonna call you by your name. You’re 23 years old, I don’t really give a s— what you think,’” he said.

“And let me tell you another huge error, a huge f—ing error that was made is when people said, ‘Campaigns need to reflect progressive values.’ No, they don’t. No, they don’t. Campaigns are authoritarian by their nature,” Carville said.

“If I were running a 2028 campaign and I had some little snot-nosed 23-year-old saying, ‘I’m going to resign if you do this,’ not only would I fire that motherf—er on the spot, I would find out who hired them and fire that person on the spot!” he added. “I’m really not interested in your uninformed, stupid, jacka– opinion as to whether to go on Joe Rogan or not.”

While Carville has said identity politics helped sink Harris’ campaign, some, like comedian Jon Stewart, argued this was not the case.

Carville called them out, arguing that even if the Harris campaign downplayed wokeness, the fact Democrats ran on it for years was not forgotten by conservatives.

“You’re f—ing wrong! It was used! See in politics — in comedy, if you tell a bad joke, who gives a s—? You just tell a better joke and you throw the bad joke away. In politics, if you have a bad policy, particularly one as bad and stupid as this was, you may throw it away, but the other side gets to play. Understand that. This is a two-sided thing,” he said.

Carville later lamented that many Democrats “had to lose the election because of the stupidity that we had in the early part of this decade. My heart goes out for you, all of you served your country and your party with great distinction, you should be remembered and I’m sorry that these a–holes so much contributed to you losing your job.”

He then sarcastically argued that progressive Democrats got their wish at the cost of victory.

“I guess the progressives now have their dream,” Carville joked. “We’re more of a coastal party, and we’ve gotten rid of all these moderates, and maybe you can all sit around some coffee house in Lower Manhattan and celebrate how f—ing smart you all are.”

Carville has argued for months in the lead-up to the election, and after Trump’s victory, that the Democratic Party needs to overhaul its messaging.

Earlier this year, he made headlines when he warned that “preachy females” and “feminine” woke messaging were driving away male voters.

After Trump’s victory, Carville has said Democrats have the “stench” of wokeness clinging to them.

FBI and DOJ’s ‘politically motivated’ persecution of a former informant — all to protect the Bidens

In this courtroom sketch defendant Alexander Smirnov speaks in federal court in Los Angeles, Feb. 26, 2024.

One of the most disturbing scandals of the Hunter Biden saga is the imprisonment without trial of former FBI informant Alexander Smirnov

The Ukrainian-born Israeli-American, who once told his FBI handler about Ukrainian claims of a $10 million bribe to the Bidens, has been languishing in a Los Angeles prison for nine months on charges that he lied to the FBI.

Last week, federal prosecutors slapped new tax-evasion charges on Smirnov, 43, which suggests they know their original indictment is too weak for a jury to convict him when he faces trial beginning Jan. 8.

Smirnov was one of the FBI’s most trusted confidential human sources, paid more than $100,000 during what his lawyers call “undivided, years-long loyalty to the United States” before he was thrown to the wolves in the middle of the Biden impeachment inquiry.

Gedoilei Yisrael Can Absolutely be Deceived!

When we study Parshas Toldos as kids, Rivkah’s plan seems straightforward: Trick Yitzchak into giving Yaakov his paternal blessing.

But blessings aren’t magical incantations. They need Hashem’s consent. Why in the world, though, would Hashem consent to a blessing based on a lie? It makes no sense. Rav Hirsch puts it this way:

“How can Rivkah imagine – even if she succeeds in deceiving the old blind father – that G-d, the All-Seeing One, could conceivably be taken in by such a pitiful mummery or believe that the blessing of Avraham, which G-d had made conditional on tzedakah u’mishpat being practiced, could be obtained from that same G-d by way of such trickery and deception?”

Rav Hirsch also notes that Rivkah’s strategy to fool Yitzchak seems so amateur. Goat skins on Yaakov’s arms and neck are going to fool him? Couldn’t she think of something more clever?

Rav Hirsch answers that the amateurish nature of the plan was the whole point. She wanted to show her husband how easily he could be tricked. She knew Esav wasn’t fit to receive the blessing intended for the next leader of the House of Avraham. She had told Yitzchak that many times, but he wouldn’t listen. Esav was a smooth talker and knew how to fool his father

By sending Yaakov in to Yitzchak with goat skins to steal the blessing, Rivkah intended to force her husband to face his own naïveté (as he would necessarily discover he had been tricked once Esav walked into the room).

And, indeed, that’s what occurred. When Esav arrived and Yitzchak realized he had been fooled, “‘vayecherad charadah gedolah d me’od,’ he received a terrific shock, he saw – as our Sages put it – Gehinnom open at his feet, saw how all his life he had allowed himself to be deceived. Immediately, the scales fell from his eyes, and he immediately added deliberately his confirmatory and now fully consciously expressed blessing ‘Gam baruch yiyeh, And indeed [Yaakov] shall be blessed.’”

Adolph Eichmann’s Hangman Passes Away At Age 83

Former Prison Services officer Shalom Nagar, the executioner tasked with hanging Nazi Adolf Eichmann, has died at the age of 83.

Nagar served as Eichmann’s prison guard and was later chosen to execute him. For six months, Nagar stayed in the same cell, even tasting Eichmann’s food to make sure he would not be poisoned. At Eichmann’s execution, he was the only guard who didn’t want to pull the lever. Ordered to do so, he said that he suffered from nightmares after the execution and eventually became religious and was one of the founders of Kiryat Arba, serving as a shochet and then studying in Kollel for many years.

Sharpton's 'pay to play' scandal 'ricocheting around the halls' of MSNBC "Everything about this stinks,"

The growing scandal plaguing MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton has been "ricocheting around the halls" of 30 Rock with his colleagues calling it a "bridge too far" for them, Fox News Digital has learned.

On Tuesday, MSNBC said it was "unaware" that Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign paid $500,000 to Sharpton’s National Action Network nonprofit ahead of a friendly interview with the Democratic nominee just weeks before the election.

"MSNBC was unaware of the donations made to the National Action Network," an MSNBC spokesperson told the Washington Free Beacon, which first broke the story.

Harris sat down for a friendly interview on Oct. 20 with Sharpton, an open supporter of Harris and the Democratic Party. Following Harris’ defeat to President-elect Donald Trump, FEC filings revealed the Harris campaign gave two $250,000 donations to Sharpton’s nonprofit organization in September and October.  However, the MSNBC weekend host did not disclose to viewers the apparent conflict of interest before or after the interview. Neither did he disclose the donations to his bosses at the network, according to the Free Beacon.

"No one's surprised that anybody at MSNBC was rooting for Harris. This feels like another level of nonsense. Like, you're kidding me, right? This is weird," the current MSNBC employee reacted to Fox News Digital. "Harris could have given Al Sharpton an interview, and it would have gone the same way. But what are you paying for?... There's no way that this can't seem weird."

"Everybody knows who Al Sharpton is… but this feels like a bridge too far. A big bridge too far… This is not landing well," they continued. "This has a bit of a dirty feel to it... These things happen and they don't bounce around MSNBC all that much. Like people just don't care. This one feels, I'd say, there's a deeper disappointment. There's a sense of like, ugh, we don't need this. This feels kind of grifty and gross."

Shin Bet intercepts Iranian Efforts to Smuggle Advanced Weaponry into Israel!

The Shin Bet recently thwarted an Iranian effort to smuggle a significant cache of advanced weaponry, including rockets, into Judea and Samaria for use in terror attacks targeting Israel.

During a coordinated operation with the Israel Defense Forces, the shipment—intended for terror operatives in the Jenin area—was intercepted. A separate site containing additional weapons smuggled by Iran was also uncovered. Details about the location of the shipment and the hidden cache remain undisclosed.

The seized arsenal included 40 high-grade Claymore-style explosive devices, 33 improvised Claymores, remote detonation systems, six RPG launchers, 24 RPG rounds, three 107mm rockets, two 60mm mortar launchers with 20 mortars, six M16 rifles, one M4 rifle, seven sniper rifles, and 37 handguns.

The operation linked the plot to Iran’s Unit 4000—part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps’ Intelligence Organization, led by Jawad Ghafari—and the IRGC Quds Force’s Unit 18840 in Syria, under Asghar Bakri of Unit 840. This reflects ongoing efforts by Iran to destabilize the region by arming terror cells in Judea and Samaria to target Israeli civilians and military personnel.

DEI Dies at Walmart....Will No Longer Consider Suppliers’ Race and Gender

Walmart announced Monday that it will discontinue its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training programs for staff and no longer consider race and gender when choosing suppliers.

The retailer will also shut down a racial equity center it established after George Floyd’s death in 2020 and withdraw from the Human Rights Campaign’s annual LGBT benchmark index, the Washington Post reported Tuesday. In addition to the DEI shift, Walmart pledged to review all Pride-related funding and monitor its online marketplace to remove sexual or transgender-themed products aimed at children, according to USA Today.

The move comes after conservative activist Robby Starbuck led a pressure campaign against major businesses over their DEI programs and other progressive initiatives. Starbuck has successfully pushed companies like Boeing, Ford, Tractor Supply, and John Deere to revise or scale back their DEI policies, according to the Post.

“Removing wokeness from Walmart has both downstream effects on suppliers and it sets the tone for corporate America,” Starbuck told USA Today.

“This is the biggest win yet for our movement,” Starbuck wrote on X.

Starbuck said he and Walmart executives had “productive conversations” to make changes after he informed the company last week that he would be “doing a story on wokeness there.”

A Walmart spokeswoman, however, said many of the DEI changes had been in the works for a long time and were not a result of the company’s conversation with Starbuck.

“We’ve been on a journey and know we aren’t perfect, but every decision comes from a place of wanting to foster a sense of belonging, to open doors to opportunities for all our associates, customers and suppliers and to be a Walmart for everyone,” the company said in a statement Monday.

Starbuck attributed Walmart’s DEI reversal to Donald Trump’s victory in this year’s presidential election.

The election was “a referendum on wokeness,” Starbuck told the Post. “I think there’s a lot of executives who woke up after that election going, ‘We have got some policies to get rid of.’ We become an easy excuse for them to do it.”

UN advisor fired after determining no genocide in Gaza

The Wall Street Journal reports that Alice Wairimu Nderitu, the Kenyan who is the Special Advisor on the Prevention of Genocide, will not have her contract renewed after declaring that the war against Hamas does not meet the qualifications for genocide.

The final say in her dismissal lies with Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, as he has the authority to renew or discontinue the contracts of UN employees.

The UN has denied the report, saying that she is leaving only due to her contract expiring and specifically rejecting any connection to her determinations regarding genocide. A UN statement noted that “genocide is strictly defined in international law and any legal determination is made by appropriate judicial bodies.”

Nderitu has in the past issued warnings against officials using the term 'genocide' too flagrantly, as it has suffered from “frequent misuse in referring to large scale, grave crimes committed against particular populations.”

Biden still withholding weapons to Israel

US House of Representatives Speaker Mike Johnson on Tuesday criticized President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris following the announcement of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

In a post to X, Johnson pointed out that the Biden administration is still withholding weapons to Israel.

“While the Biden-Harris Administration celebrates this announcement, remember that it is STILL withholding weapons to Israel. This Administration put up roadblock after roadblock on Israel and dragged out this conflict. They repeatedly appeased Iran rather than show unequivocal support to our closest ally in the region. Israel’s military success has been in spite of the White House, not because of it,” Johnson wrote.

“We always hope for peace in the region, and still do during this 60-day ceasefire. But it is President Trump’s Administration that will pave the way to lasting peace, because peace only comes through STRENGTH,” he added.

US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) earlier on Tuesday welcomed the ceasefire, which is set to take effect at 4:00 a.m. (Israel time) Wednesday morning.

“I am very pleased to hear that a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah has been reached regarding the conflict in Lebanon. Well done to all those involved in reaching this agreement,” said Graham.

“I appreciate the hard work of the Biden Administration, supported by President Trump, to make this ceasefire a reality,” he added.

“This ceasefire will protect Israel from another October 7th and will give the people of Lebanon a break from the fighting. My hope is that we can soon achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and allow peaceful solutions to replace endless conflict,” concluded Graham.

Earlier, Rep. Mike Waltz, who is set to become the National Security Adviser in Trump’s new administration, commented on the ceasefire and wrote on X, "Everyone is coming to the table because of President Trump."

"This," he added, is because, "his resounding victory sent a clear message to the rest of the world that chaos won’t be tolerated. I’m glad to see concrete steps towards de-escalation in the Middle East."

"But,” Waltz emphasized, "let’s be clear: The Iran Regime is the root cause of the chaos and terror that has been unleashed across the region. We will not tolerate the status quo of their support for terrorism."

Councilwoman Inna Vernikov decimates CUNY Chancellor During Contentious Hearing on Antisemitism

On Monday, Councilwoman Inna Vernikov joined members of the New York City Council Higher Education Committee to question CUNY administration and several witnesses on instances of antisemitism on CUNY campuses in light of the scathing findings of the Lippman Report.

The Lippman Report, which was compiled by the Hon. Judge Jonathan Lippman, revealed disturbing antisemitic activity across the CUNY system and a complete lack of oversight and accountability and contained 13 BINDING recommendations that CUNY is expected to abide by, including: Increasing Centralization of Resources for Dealing With Antisemitism and Discrimination, Overhaul CUNY’s Current System for Lodging Complaints Regarding Discrimination and Harassment, Holding Faculty and Others Accountable for Violative Conduct, among others.

It is completely unacceptable that the Chancellor is paid an enormous $670,000 a year salary – entirely funded by taxpayers – and didn’t see fit to come to this hearing prepared to answer basic questions about the discrimination that Jewish students have suffered on CUNY campuses. He paid this committee no more than a series of platitudes and vague answers, demonstrating a serious lack of consideration for the gravity of the issue.

Archaeologists uncover 3,000-year-old structure from the Bible

The excavation, led by the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), revealed a manmade trench or moat that once divided Jerusalem into two parts. This moat, hidden beneath the Givati Parking lot, has been a subject of speculation for over 150 years. The site, now a 3,500-square-foot excavation area, was previously used for car parking by visitors to Jerusalem’s Western Wall.

The trench, measuring approximately 30 feet deep and nearly 100 feet wide, with steep cliffs on both sides, was an impassable barrier designed to protect the city’s inhabitants. Its discovery is crucial for understanding the scale and defensive strategies of ancient Jerusalem from the Bible.

Historical Significance

This moat dates back to the Iron Age, aligning with the period when Jerusalem served as the capital of the Kingdom of Judah. The Bible particularly the Books of Kings and Samuel, references the city’s division into different sections, such as Ophel and Millo. These biblical terms describe the city’s topography and fortifications.

One notable reference is found in the first Book of Kings (11:27), where King Solomon is credited with building the “Millo” and closing the breach in the city’s wall. This discovery aligns with these ancient texts, providing physical evidence to support the biblical narrative.

A Glimpse into Ancient Jerusalem

The City of David, historically known in the Bible as Bethlehem, is one of the oldest cities in the world. The moat’s discovery confirms long-held beliefs about the city’s layout and defensive structures. According to Dr. Yiftah Shalev, the excavation director, the moat created a clear separation between the southern residential area and the northern ruling Acropolis, where the palace and temple were located.

The moat’s design aimed to showcase the ruler’s power and the city’s defensive capabilities. It was intended to demonstrate Jerusalem’s strength to any who approached its gates, emphasizing the city’s ability to protect itself from invaders.

Archaeological and Biblical Correlation

The moat’s existence was first noted in the 1960s by British archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon, who initially thought it was a natural valley. However, recent excavations have revealed it to be a continuation of the manmade trench from the times of the Bible, curving westward and confirming its strategic purpose.

Eli Escusido, Director of the IAA, remarked on the discovery’s significance, stating, “Once again, discoveries are being revealed that shed new and vivid light on the biblical literature. When you stand at the bottom of this giant excavation, surrounded by enormous hewn walls, it is impossible not to be filled with wonder and appreciation for those ancient people who, about 3,800 years ago, literally moved mountains and hills”.

Conclusion

The unearthing of this 3,000-year-old moat in Jerusalem’s City of David is a monumental find that bridges the gap between narratives in the Bible and historical evidence. It offers a tangible connection to the ancient world and enhances our understanding of Jerusalem’s early history and its strategic importance. As researchers continue to explore and study this site, we can expect more revelations that will deepen our appreciation of the rich history embedded in the biblical texts.
