Aaron Keyak Biden's Jewish Engagement Director Tells Jews to Hide Their Judaism

 

Aaron Keyak, Jewish Engagement Director at Biden for President, said Friday, “take off your kippah (head covering) and hide your magen david (star of David)” if you fear for your life as a Jew.

NOTE – Keyak is himself Orthodox Jewish

Keyak’s comments follow a major increase in antisemitic incidents.

As reported by Breitbart News, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said “‘none of the people committing’ recent antisemitic attacks ‘were wearing MAGA hats”

Jewish and non-Jewish Twitter users criticized Keyak’s recommendation to hide Jewish identity. One woman replied to Keyak, “I wore my Magen David today. It’s a little on the small side. I need a bigger one. And I do fear for my safety in the ‘current climate.’”

One man asked Keyak, “Should I hide my eyes to avoid being targeted for being Asian?”

Comparing Keyak’s statement to victim-blaming, another Twitter user said, “She was wearing an awfully short skirt….”

Breitbart News’ Joel Pollak had the best rejoinder, encouraging self-defense over fear: “The only thing you should conceal (legally) is your firearm”

Despite receiving backlash from his statement, Keyak doubled down on his position, saying, “It’s important that those who wear kippot (head coverings) don’t feel more pressure to put our lives in unnecessary actual danger.”

In September 2020, Keyak blamed former President Donald Trump for antisemitism in the United States, saying, “We know that Donald Trump’s use of antisemitic tropes has emboldened all those who hate Jews.”

Keyak still serves as the Jewish Engagement Director for Joe Biden for president, according to Bluelight Strategies, the company he c0founded.

President Joe Biden took days to condemn the rise in antisemitic attacks, only doing so on Monday.

67-year old Jewish man punched in the face in front of E27th Street Shul in Flatbush

 

A 67-year old Jewish man entering a Brooklynsynagogue on Monday night was attacked by a 20-year old man who punched him in the face and yelled anti-Semitic slurs, reported the New York Daily News.

The attack took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the entrance to Congregation Kerem Shlomo in Sheepshead Bay.

Police said that the attacker yelled “F****** Jews!” And “I”m going to **** you up. I see you Jews are racist.”

The alleged attacker, Hersham Ghonim, was arrested nearby. He is charged wth assault, assault as a hate crime, aggravated harassment, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and menacing, reported the New York Post.

The assault was being investigated by the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.

The Jewish man was not seriously injured, reported the Daily News.

An unconventional sight was seen in Meah Shearim on Monday as Mercaz HaRav students and chassidim of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak mingled together next to a chuppah with the Toldos Avraham Yitzhak Rebbe serving as mesader Kiddushin.

According to a B’Chadrei Chareidim report, the chasan and several of his friends, talmidim of Mercaz HaRav, have been frequent visitors in Toldos Avraham Yitzchak for years, attending tischim almost every Shabbos. The chasan developed a relationship with the Rebbe and became his talmid. When he became a chasan, he asked him to serve as his mesader kiddushin after receiving permission from his Rosh Yeshivah, HaRav Yaakov Shapira.

HaRav Shapira and the chasan’s friends from Mercaz HaRav attended the emotional event, and the Mercaz HaRav talmidim and the Yerushalmim sang together at the kabalas panim in the Beis Medrash of Toldos Avraham Yitzchak. The chuppah was held outside the Beis Medrash where all the chuppohs of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak are held.

Why Are GOP Leaders Condemning Greene Over Holocaust Comments...? What Was So Bad?

 

My parents were Holocaust survivors, and I grew up with survivors exclusively. I did not meet a Jew that wasn't a survivor until my late teens.

Having said that, The Washington Post wrote an article on July 16, 2018, comparing Trump's America to the Holocaust, it was titled "Its not wrong to compare Trump America to the Holocaust. I don't recall anyone, Republican or Democrat condemning this...

These GOP Leaders are a bunch of cowards and all they are doing is feeding into the DemonRat agenda.

Why is it that the DemonRat Leadership could care less about their own Jew Haters like Ilhan Omar, Tlaib and that sicko AOC?

Republican leaders are chastising Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene for the Georgia GOP lawmaker’s latest bid to liken measures to combat the coronavirus to the Holocaust.

On Tuesday, Greene compared a supermarket’s decision to add a logo to the badges of vaccinated workers to the yellow stars that Jews were forced to wear in Nazi-occupied Europe.

“Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s [sic] forced Jewish people to wear a gold star,” she said on Twitter, attaching a news story.

Jeff Miller, a major Republican donor who is close to the U.S. House of Representatives minority leader, Kevin McCarthy of California, offered to give Greene a tour of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., where he is a member of the commission.

“WTF is wrong with you?” Miller, who is also a board member of the Republican Jewish Coalition, asked in a tweet. “I think you need to pay a visit to the US Holocaust Museum. I’d be happy to arrange. Then maybe going forward you wouldn’t make anymore disgusting, ignorant and offensive tweets. If I’m wrong and you’re not ignorant about Holocaust … then you are disgusting.”

McCarthy weighed in a bit later, referring to Greene’s comparisons over the weekend likening mask-wearing mandates to the Holocaust.

“Marjorie is wrong, and her intentional decision to compare the horrors of the Holocaust with wearing masks is appalling,” he said. “Let me be clear: the House Republican Conference condemns this language.”

McCarthy attached a statement that also called on Democrats to forcefully condemn anti-Israel members in their ranks.

Also weighing in was Matt Brooks, the Republican Jewish Coalition’s director, whose group joined a rare primaries challenge to Greene last summer.

“Please educate yourself so that you can realize how absolutely wrong and inappropriate it is to compare proof of vaccination with the 6 million Jews who were exterminated by the Nazis,” Brooks said on Twitter. “You’re an embarrassment to yourself and the GOP.”

A number of Republicans were among those who criticized Greene’s equating mask mandates to the Holocaust, but these were mostly figures who are vocal in opposition to former President Donald Trump, who effectively leads the party and to whom Greene is close.

Nope, in fact the government not only doubled down on going ahead with the Light Rail but are working with a feverish pitch to get most of it done in their neighborhoods before bein hazmanim...good for them ...

Tzemach David is housed in a building called the Bram Center, after Abram (Bram) Poljak, a pioneering missionary in Israel.

The "Beis Medrash" (study hall) is run by an organization called FFOZ (First Fruits of Zion) that was established in the United States in 1992 with the central aim of presenting Christianity as Judaism and conducting intensive activities to gets Jews to convert.

"Brake system was tampered with.'" 3 arrested for deadly Italian Alps cable car disaster

 

Police in northern Italy have arrested three people in connection with the cable car disaster in the Italian Alps earlier this week which claimed the lives of 14 people, including five Israelis.

On Tuesday, police arrested the cable car’s engineer, service director, and head of service, on suspicion they “tampered with” the cable car’s safety brake system in order to avoid delays, Olimpia Bossi, a prosecutor in Verbania province told ANSA.

Bossi said that a device which prevents the emergency brakes from operating was installed to avoid stops in service. That device also prevented the emergency system from being activated when a cable snapped, causing the cable car to fall.

The three suspects taken into custody now face a series of charges, including manslaughter.

Fourteen of the fifteen passengers on board the doomed cable car perished in the accident Sunday, including five Israelis.

The Israelis killed in the accident include 30-year-old Amit Biran, 27-year-old Tal Biran - Israeli nationals living in Italy - and their two-year-old son, Tom.

In addition, Tal Biran's grandparents, Barbara, 71, and Yitzhak Cohen, 83 both residents of Israel, were also killed in the accident.

The sole survivor of the accident, five-year-old Eitan Biran, was seriously injured, and despite improvements in his condition, doctors say his life is still in danger.

 Women from Borough Park and other Orthodox neighborhoods in the New York area described nightmare scenarios in which their husbands coerced them into having sex by invoking the authority of God, withheld money for household necessities and used GPS to track their movements. After having shared stories of seeking help from rabbinic and civil authorities, they found themselves subjected to surveillance, harassment or the loss of their children in custody proceedings. Henny Kupferstein, a former Borough Park resident who grew up in the Belz Hasidic sect, said in a series of interviews that she faced stigma, community hostility and the loss of her children when she finally left her husband and accused him of domestic abuse.

“Literally gang warfare — mafia tactics,” Kupferstein said. “Ganging up, harassment that comes in a way that is presented as a holy task.”

It was an overcast and unseasonably warm November day in 2009 when Kupferstein, the woman who described “mafia-like tactics,” finally decided she had suffered enough.

The cries of her young child through an apartment window after her husband, Victor, allegedly locked Kupferstein out of the family home. The slurs, delivered in Yiddish — “witch,” “dog,” and worse. And the weight of her husband as Kupferstein lay underneath him, weeping through desperately unwanted but religiously obligatory sex.

“I was just crying the whole time,” Kupferstein, now 43, said in an interview. “Think of this from the perspective of someone who believes, quite strongly, that this act is something that God wants you to do.”

When I was a young man sometime in the early part of last century, whenever I looked into the NY Times classified section for a job that I really needed, the jobs available would say “White Christian only”.

The NY Times wasn’t always as woke as it is now. I’m not even as woke as I am now, because I just fell asleep while writing this sentence.

I’ve always said there are three constants in life death, taxes, and antisemitism, a subject I’m an expert on unfortunately. All these people here in America and around the world commenting on the atrocities of the Israelis. Killing women and children! Ethnic cleansing! Apartheid!

Thousands of journalists sitting on their good for nothing tuchses yelling into the internet. All you hear is oy what a terrible thing the Israelis are doing. Evicting people from houses! Stopping people from praying! Terrible!

And, my friends, if you would go to any young Israeli man asking him what would he prefer to do, sit by an anti-missile battery or in a fighter jet, or would he rather go with his girlfriend to sit on the beach?

It seems to me that the answer is obvious, and the absurdity of the question says everything about what’s going on in the Middle East. Yet we hear so many people who have given very little thought to the topic yelling and screaming like they have lived in the region for 100 years and know every nuance of this terrible conflict.

They have decided that this is what they are going to spend their time screaming about. They don’t scream about the hundreds of thousands of Syrians who have died in the last decade by their own co-religionists’ hands, more people killed than all sides combined in the entire history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

London’s Metropolitan Police are searching for “four black males” in connection to the shooting of radical Black Lives Matter activist Sasha Johnson.

The shooting of the self-described “Black Panther of Oxford” Sasha Johnson has sparked widespread speculation over the motives of her attack. While some in Britain, including leftist Labour Party MP Diane Abbott, have attempted to link the shooting to Johnson’s political activism, the police have said there is no evidence to suggest the shooting was a targeted attack.

In a statement provided to Breitbart London, Met Commander Alison Heydari said: “From our enquiries so far, we have established that Sasha had been at a party at a house on Consort Road in Peckham early on Sunday morning.

“Around 3 am a group of four black males dressed in dark coloured clothing entered the garden of the property and discharged a firearm. They had left the scene before officers arrived.”

Commander Heydari went on to say that the police are “aware of Sasha’s involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement in the UK and I understand the concern this will cause to some communities – however, I wish to stress that at this time there is nothing to suggest Sasha was the victim of a targeted attack.”

Despite claims from Sasha Johnson’s political party, the Taking The Initiative Party (TTIP), that she had received “numerous death threats”, Heydari said that the Metropolitan Police are not aware of any threats made against her prior to the shooting.

“I want to take this opportunity to reassure you that we are doing everything possible to identify those responsible and to bring them to justice,” the police commander said.
