Israeli stadium deploys disinfectant tunnel in push for safer public gatherings

Researchers out of Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv have discovered disinfectant technology that is now being used for a sanitation tunnel, which sprays visitors with disinfecting liquid before they enter large venues to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
The industrial automation firm RD Pack in Karmiel, Israel, took the process that makes a disinfectant out of water and applied it to a tunnel structure, according to The Times of Israel.
The tunnel is reportedly made out of an aluminum and polycarbonate frame and is currently being tested at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv as soccer players prepare to return to stadium play, albeit without fans.
“When people walk through the tunnel, their whole body gets sprayed with the disinfectant, which works fast and efficiently, and provides the complete sterilization of a person,” Eran Druker, business development manager at RD Pack, told The Times of Isreal during a demonstration on Tuesday.
The method was developed by Dr. Eran Avraham, Dr. Izaak Cohen and professor Doron Aurbach, head of the electrochemistry group of the Department of Chemistry and Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials at Bar-Ilan.
The main advantage of the disinfectant, hypochlorous acid, is that it is not harmful to human skin or food, Avraham told The Times of Israel.
The tunnel would mostly be used for other public and private events such as stadiums games, concerts, airports, schools and businesses.
Druker said the team is waiting for the conclusion of the pilot program so regulators can inspect the tunnel before the process moves ahead.

Bizarre New York Times article bashes infectious disease care - in Israel?

This is eerie.
It’s about an infectious disease striking New York, days after the New York Times viciously attacked official handling of infectious disease in … Israel.

The article (in the New York Times on 1 March) even solemnly suggested the classic NYT root cause for everything:
building of "settlements in the West Bank".

You know what happened eleven days later.
A highly infectious disease - coronavirus - became a worldwide pandemic.

But contrary to the NYT's shrill indictment, Israel's "neglectful" Netanyahu fought back, keeping Israeli deaths from this highly infectious disease very low.

Simple Money-saving Trick for Making her Vegetables Last for up to a MONTH - and all you need is a jar and some water

An Australian mother has shared her simple trick for making her vegetables last for up to a month - and all you need is a jar and some water.
Western Australian woman Kate Freebairn posted on Facebook after she learned the 'great idea', writing that instead of storing your celery and carrots in a container, you should instead place them in a jar of water in the fridge.
'Store carrots and celery submerged in water,' Kate - who goes by the The Pantry Mama online - wrote.
'The celery will last up to two weeks, and carrots up to one month!'
The mom said that after trying the idea with celery and carrots, she 'wonders what other veggies it will work with'.
'Just remember you need to change the water near daily,' she added.
The Pantry Mama's trick was a hit on Facebook, where hundreds of others said they couldn't wait to try it for themselves.
'My husband has done this for years and at first I thought WHAT? But it works amazingly well!' one woman wrote.
'But yes, just remember to change the water once or twice daily.'
Another added: 'Fantastic tip, thank you'.
Others said they also do it with lettuce to stop it from going brown, and you can also wrap any vegetables in beeswax wraps to make them last longer too.
'Why not go a step further and throw some salt in!' one woman wrote.
'Leave them on the kitchen bench for a few days and then you have fermented veggies in the jar! Even more nutritious!'
To make the 'salty brine', she said you should just add 1-2 teaspoons of salt per cup of water, and leave it to infuse for between two days and two weeks.
This isn't the first time a food trick has proven popular online.
Last month, a woman wowed the internet with a money-saving trick that is so simple thousands are saying they wish they had been doing it their entire lives.
Ellen, from Wagga Wagga in south-west New South Wales, used a Facebook post to reveal that she and her family freeze mince and ground beef in Ziploc bags after buying it in bulk when it is on special offer.
By doing this, Ellen said she always has some mince meat when she wants it - and by flattening it with a rolling pin before she puts it in the freezer, she ensures that it doesn't take up much space.
'We buy ground beef in bulk and Ziploc it into smaller portions,' Ellen wrote.
'Then we flatten it with a rolling pin to save space in the freezer and it thaws faster.'
Food author and health expert Sarah Wilson also swears by storing any wilting spinach in pillowcases rather than the plastic bags they come in, as this lets the air get to the leaves and means they will last a few days longer.

Facebook introduces tool to find and mass-delete embarrassing or undesirable posts buried in your timeline

Facebook just made pruning one's page of old and potentially embarrassing posts a lot easier.
For the first time ever, the platform will let users select multiple old posts and delete them in bulk as opposed to one at a time in an attempt to 'to make it easy for you to curate your presence on Facebook to more accurately reflect who you are today.'
'Whether you’re entering the job market after college or moving on from an old relationship, we know things change in people’s lives, and we want to make it easy for you to curate your presence on Facebook to more accurately reflect who you are today.' said the company in a statement.
The feature, called 'Manage Activity' can be accessed through mobile by navigating to 'Settings & Privacy' and then tapping on 'Activity Log.'
While a seemingly subtle change, anyone that has ever attempted to cleanse their accounts of old pictures with exes, cringe-worthy status updates, or Farmville notifications, knows that the process could be fairly laborious.
In addition to letting users delete posts in bulk, the update - which expands on Facebook's 'Manage Activity function' - will also give people the option to sort their posts by a time range.
This should be useful especially for users who know they want to weed account content from a specific time period.
The process of deleting content will also become more forgiving.
Instead of permanently wiping posts right away, Facebook will put deleted posts into a 'trash bin' for 30 days so users can recover posts that they've changed their minds about or have deleted by accident.
The added granularity in deleting posts stands in contrast to other social media rivals like Twitter which still lacks a native tool that is capable of deleting old tweets en masse.
For now the ability to delete old posts in bulk on Facebook will only be available on mobile and Facebook lite, but will come to desktop in the future according to the company.

Natalie Portman (Neta-Lee Hershlag) Wants to Defund Police

Neta Hershlag who calls herself "Natalie Portman" is supposed to be from the smarter actors in Hollywood... but has now proven that if you hang out with stupid it begins to rub off on you ...
she is out and out not only stupid but dangerously crazy.......
Defund police?

I guess when you're a multi-millionaire Entertainment Elite who can afford PRIVATE security, defunding the police seems like a great idea.
Singers John Legend and Lizzo, and actresses Natalie Portman and Taraji P. Henson are among the Hollywood celebrities who’ve signed a letter pushing the defunding all police departments in the wake of the police involved death of Minneapolis man George Floyd.
The open letter claims that in 2017, $194 billion was spent on the police by America’s various governments even as police have “continued profiling, harassment, terror and killing of Black communities.”
The letter — which was also singed by Common, Jane Fonda, America Ferrera, Brie Larson, ACLU executive director Anthony Romero — goes on to insist that the money spent on police would be better spent on “building healthy communities,” or to go “to the health of our elders and children, to neighborhood infrastructure, to education, to childcare, to support a vibrant Black future.”
The letter was initially started by the organization going by the name Movement 4 Black Lives, along with Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors.
In an interview with Variety, Cullors spoke of the Blackout Tuesday effort saying, “We’re looking at all the black musicians who are showing up and standing up — like Lizzo, who I just had a phone call with yesterday.”
“She’s excited about joining, and [last week] she was up in Minneapolis protesting outside the fourth [police] precinct,” the activist added. “But we need every single musician — black, white, Asian, whoever — to show up right now. We’re not going to change what’s happening between law enforcement and black people until everybody shows up to change it.”
The letter comes as the country is coming to grips with a week mass looting, vandalism, carnage, and killings of police and innocence.

Crying Schumer Crawls out of his Bat Cave to Call Probe into Treatment of Protesters Outside White House

Not one word about the virus .... not one word about the violence in his State ....
but to criticize the president the crying hyena crawls out to yell like a banshee .....
Government officials should investigate the treatment of protesters who gathered near the White House on Monday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said Tuesday.
“Secretary [of Defense Mark] Esper, General [Mark] Milley should not allow the U.S. military to come within a country mile of these ugly stunts,” he stated in remarks given from the Senate floor, according to the Hill.
“The administration is using the military as a tool to intimidate American citizens and the Department of Defense IG must immediately launch an investigation into how the U.S military was used and whether it was consistent with the laws of our nation,” he continued.
Schumer also claimed President Trump had been a “failure at handling” the events following George Floyd’s death, who died while in police custody on May 25 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
“There’s no one home at the White House and the lights are off. I fear for the future of our country, that in this time of immense difficulty, our president is only capable of contributing more division, more fear, more chaos,” he commented.
Monday, law enforcement officers used tear gas and smoke bombs to disperse a crowd of protesters outside the White House to clear the way for the president to walk to St. John’s Church, which had been set ablaze by vandals on Sunday night.
Prior to the event, President Trump vowed to act swiftly to end the widespread violence and riots in America’s major cities following Floyd’s death, according to Breitbart News.
“A line of National Guard troops pressed protesters out of the park near the White House as Trump spoke, flash-bang grenades were deployed, and canisters of tear gas and pepper gas were launched,” the report noted.
Tuesday, the president praised law enforcement officers on Twitter for dispersing the crowds and restoring peace to the area.
“D.C. had no problems last night. Many arrests. Great job done by all. Overwhelming force. Domination. Likewise, Minneapolis was great (thank you President Trump!),” he concluded.

Black NYT reporter "destroying property 'is not violence'"

Black New York Times Magazine reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones drew backlash on Tuesday when she claimed that the destruction of property "is not violence"
During an interview with CBSN, Hannah-Jones was asked how the rioting and looting from the George Floyd protests should be "interpreted."
"I think we need to be very careful with our language," the Times Magazine reporter responded. "Yes, it is disturbing to see property being destroyed, it's disturbing to see people taking property from stores, but these are things."
She continued, "And violence is when an agent of the state kneels on a man's neck until all of the life is leached out of his body. Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence. And to put those things- to use the same language to describe those two things I think really- it's not moral to do that."
Hannah-Jones, who recently won the Pultizer Prize for the fake "1619 Project," went on to say that "any reasonable person" would discourage the destruction of other people's property but said "these are not reasonable times," pointing to the years of protesting against police brutality.
"So when we have people who say that people should respect the law, they’re not respecting the law because the law is not respecting them. You can’t say that- that regular citizens should play by all of the rules when agents of the state are clearly are not," she told CBSN.
Her comments sparked plenty of reactions on social media.
"According to this logic, burning down a building isn’t an act of violence. What a sophomoric and morally bankrupt defense of the indefensible," National Review editor Rich Lowry reacted.
"'Destroying property is not violence.' Those looters with crowbars and bricks smashing windows and stealing last night? Not violent at all. In fact it’s *immoral* to imply they were!" political commentator Andrew Sullivan slammed Hannah-Jones.
"When I moved to DC in the late 90s, it still wasn't close to recovering from the 1968 riots. Economic devastation in cities has long-term consequences, leads to despair, and it will kill people just as surely as bad cops do. This is such a terrible argument," RealClearInvestigations senior writer Mark Hemingway said.
"Disgusting and stupid comments. Such comments only deserve one response: a Pulitzer Prize," Ben Shapiro tweeted.
Hannah-Jones fired back at her critics, accusing The Daily Caller of "falsely" claiming that she was "defending looting and actual violence" despite its report quoting her word-for-word.
"Despite numerous comments by people asking to post my address or burn or destroy my house, the Daily Caller is encouraging this by repeatedly reposting this story that falsely claims I am defending looting and actual violence," Hannah-Jones tweeted Tuesday evening. "This tactic is an attempt to silence black journalists and I will not cower."
This isn't the first time Black Hannah-Jones' commentary was slammed.
On Monday, she was criticized for claiming that the Second Amendment was created "to ensure Southern slave owners the right to maintain & arm slave patrols to put down insurrections amongst the enslaved."

1,800 years ago, Chazal prohibited drinking from this ‘idolatrous’ waterspout

An ancient 1,800-year-old waterspout was recently uncovered by chance at northern Israel’s Tzippori National Park, according to an Israel Nature and Parks Authority press release on Monday. The humanized lion spout is exactly the type of “idolatrous” faucet head that the Babylonian Talmud warns Jews against drinking from in Tractate Avodah Zarah.
The 3D gargoyle measures 15 centimeters x 12.5 centimeters (6 inches by 5 inches). Its gaping mouth leaves room for a 2-centimeter diameter pipe, from which water would have splashed in a drinking fountain or bathhouse. It is formed from marble, likely imported from Turkey, according to the Parks Authority. Similar gargoyles have been discovered in the Hamat Gader, Beit She’an and Caesarea national parks.
Ornately decorated drain spouts were usually formed into the images of animal heads or characters from mythology. They were in use from the Hellenistic era through the Roman/beginning of the Byzantine era as common architectural elements, and had a resurgence of popularity in the Renaissance, said Iosi Bordowicz, director of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority’s Heritage Section.
The newly discovered “fountain head” was uncovered near the archaeological site’s ancient bathhouse by David Goren, a resident of modern Tzippori, who turned it over to the Parks Authority.

Stop excusing the looters — they’re destroying New York

Midtown Manhattan and Times Square looked like a war zone Tuesday. The mayor and his would-be successors are a lost cause, but if Gov. Cuomo won’t stop the looting, we’ll lose our retail tax base and hundreds of thousands of jobs — for years.
Macy’s, Bergdorf Goodman — icons of New York, windows smashed. But that’s not the worst part: It was clear that the office-building and retail managers and workers were bracing for more.
From Central Park South through Rockefeller Center through the Bowtie to Herald Square, hundreds of essential workers — most of them minority men — scrambled to sweep up the broken glass. Then, they unpacked lumber pile after lumber pile, block after block, to board everything up fast, before the looters strike again.
Midtown smelled and sounded like a woodworking shop — but instead of building something productive, property owners are bracing for destruction.
No major elected official — not Council Speaker Corey Johnson, not Comptroller Scott Stringer, not Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams — has shown public solidarity with the retail owners, managers, and workers who are bearing the brunt of New York City’s failure to keep order.
Macy’s — which sponsors two of the city’s biggest events, the July 4 fireworks and the Thanksgiving Day Parade? Abandoned by the pols to a mob, because the pols are afraid of looking racist.
The optimistic view of this is: Well, so what? Stores have been closed for three months anyway, due to a lockdown that all responsible people (of all races) are still observing. Workers — 350,000 people worked in retail last year — were already on temporary furlough.
This thinking — quite common on woke, white, “urban Twitter” — is a fatal mistake. Chain stores such as Macy’s were already struggling pre-pandemic. Small businesses were squeezed between high local taxes and cheap online shopping.

Rep. Eliot Engel Says He Doesn’t Care About Riots

NY Rep. Eliot Engel, the 16-term Democratic congressman got himself into a mess on Tuesday when he openly stated that he doesn’t care about the riots and looting taking place in the city.

Only, we weren’t supposed to hear it.
Engel’s remarks were caught on a hot mic at a press conference with local leaders and elected officials following a night of heavy protests in the Bronx.
Engel had asked Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. if he could have a turn at the microphone to say a few words. Diaz Jr. replied that there were too many people already on the list. It was then that Engel mumbled something through his face mask.
“What was that?” Diaz Jr. asked.
“If I didn’t have a primary, I wouldn’t care,” Engel repeated.
Engel released a statement defending his words following the blunder, saying that since he is running for reelection, he felt he needed to clarify his stance to the voters.
“Of course I care deeply about what’s happening in this country, that’s what I wanted to convey,” sadid Engel. “I love the Bronx, grew up in the Bronx and lived here all my life,” he continued.
“I would not have tried to impose on the Borough President if I didn’t think it was important,” he added.
Engel recently was criticized for not returning to his Bronx district while the COVID-19 pandemic raged on.
It was also recently reported that Engel had failed to repay a controversial $125,000 “mortgage loan” from one of his top campaign donors.

How an abusive Teacher or a Rebbe Can Destroy a Student for life!

and not only are you destroying the student but all his future children ....

He sat in the women’s gallery of the neighborhood shul from morning to night, writing his chiddushim and dissecting folios, but what really sparked my curiosity was the tune he used to accompany his Torah learning — sometimes it sounded like a ballad of yearning, sometimes like a victory march. Little did I know it was a song that would change my Yom Tov — and my life.

A true story.

The following story and its sequel are real live dangers of abusive teachers (or parents). It is a story of souls being repaired. The catalyst of bringing back this off derech youth was through a Rabbi with a guitar, long hair,

Apple is tracking iPhones stolen by looters

Apple has an eerie message for the looters who have pillaged its stores during recent protests:
We’re watching you.
Thieves who made off with iPhones from ransacked Apple retail locations in recent days quickly learned that the gadgets were loaded with special security software, as they displayed a message on their screens indicating that their locations were being monitored.
“Please return to Apple Walnut Street,” read the onscreen message of an iPhone stolen from an Apple store in Philadelphia, according to social media posts. “This device has been disabled and is being tracked. Local authorities will be alerted.”
Apple — which has recently been gearing up to reopen over 100 stores across the United States following an extended closure due to the coronavirus pandemic — saw locations attacked and looted in cities including New York, Los Angeles and Washington.
The looting sprang from a week of civil unrest and protests following the police killing of George Floyd, an event which Apple chief Tim Cook called “senseless” in a memo to employees over the weekend.
“I have heard from so many of you that you feel afraid — afraid in your communities, afraid in your daily lives, and, most cruelly of all, afraid in your own skin,” Cook said in the note, which was published by multiple news outlets.
“To our colleagues in the Black community — we see you,” he added. “You matter, your lives matter, and you are valued here at Apple.”

Jewish Lives Don't Matter ..... Schumer, Nadler, Friedlander, Eichenstein Disappear

When it comes to annihilating Jews like supporting the murderous Iran regime, Ezra Friedlander (the Liskar Ganiv) and his ""kapo master" Fat Nadler are first to tuches lekk the goyim......

What happened to "open the camps Eichenstein?" ....
he is hiding out in Bobov ......You see Bobov owns camps so he advocates for them pretending to be concerned for the children ...he even put on his polyester bekeshe to make the official announcement ...
But when it comes to storekeepers "Bekeshe" Eichenstein is AWOL

Where is the "Chief Askan" Leon Goldenberg?
If there are no No photo ops? Then he doesn't show up..

New York City is awash with rioting, fires, and looting, while Bill De Blasio is fiddling with ensuring that the stores and shops on 13th Avenue remain closed and strictly follow Corona pandemic restrictions.

Where is "crying" Schumer?

Every News station in New York is depicting sheer mayhem in the streets. Storefront glass are shattered by looters and rioters. Police vans are burning. Stores like Moishy’s Bake Shop, and Target are being looted to their bare shelves. Police cars are overturned and burned alongside the American flag.
All this and more is happening, while a large contingent of NYC sherrifs are assigned to Boro Park’s 13th Avenue, patrolling the streets to ensure that no one illegally enters a store.
The irony of entire neighborhoods having every store window shattered and dozens of rioters illegally entering and then exiting with shopping bags filled with stolen items has not been lost on Boro Park reidents.
“We are peaceful, and the mayor is coming down with an iron fist upon us,” remarked, “Duvid’l, who did not wish to divulge his last name.  “Look what is happening all around.  The mayor has completely lost his mind.  Police officers everywhere else are being attacked by rioters and this is where he sends squad cars?”
