I have to laugh, Satmar is a gift that keeps on giving!
As we posted on May 20, 2019 ,The Ahronim in Bnei Brak are in a massive civil war .......
For awhile there was a truce, but that collapsed last night when one of the factions headed by R' Aron Teitelbaum's nephew, R' Chaim Tzvi Meisels called the Zionist cops on some of his opponents, (his own relatives) claiming that they removed and stole the security cameras..
Here see the posters smeared all over Israel claiming that the Meisels factions committed the greatest crime in Satmar history by calling the Zionists!
On August 4, 1944, Anne Frank and her family were betrayed, arrested by the Gestapo, taken from the Amsterdam annexe where they had hidden for two years and despatched to concentration camps.
Anne’s poignant diaries stopped that day.
Now, Jonathan Mayo relates the tragic events, minute by minute, that Anne was unable to record herself.
The background
Otto and Edith Frank and their daughters Margot and Anne fled Nazi Germany in 1933 and settled in the Netherlands.
But by the summer of 1942 life for Dutch Jews was increasingly harsh. They were forced to wear yellow stars, and forbidden to run a business, travel on trams, sit on a park bench or even ride a bicycle.
So that July, after 16-year-old Margot received a call-up to work in a German labour camp, the family went into hiding in the upper storeys of Otto Frank’s Amsterdam business premises.
They were joined by another family, Auguste and Hermann van Pels with their son Peter, and a dentist named Fritz Pfeffer.
For more than two years they endured a clandestine life in the cramped quarters. But by August 1944 they were daring to hope that the city would soon be liberated by the Allies.
‘I have the feeling that friends are approaching,’ Anne wrote in her diary.
But the families were far from safe: there was a bounty for turning in Jews, and Amsterdam was full of informers and Nazi officials; almost 100,000 Jews in the Netherlands had already been sent to extermination camps.
It is a misty morning in Amsterdam. On the second floor of the secret annexe at 263 Prinsengracht, 15-year-old Anne is asleep in a bed so small there are chairs at the end to make it longer for her. It is her 761st day in hiding
A bunch of Chassidishe thugs take a public "miklat' a bomb shelter, set up a shul on stolen property and then get upset when they get booted out ...!!
The same thing happened in Bet Shemesh Gimmel last week ...
A bunch of Semi-Chassidishe guys went and set up a caravan on public property, set up a shul calling it .. "Bet Knesses Bal Shem Tov " ... and when the Zionist bulldozers came to destroy it .... they went ahead and video taped the scene and screamed "nazis" .....
Question for DIN readers :
Are you allowed to set up a shul on stolen property?
Supreme Court justices on Thursday rejected a request made by Gur hasidim not to be expelled from their synagogue, Kikar Hashabbat reported.
The synagogue, set up in a bomb shelter in the southern city of Arad, had been locked over the weekend to prevent its use.
Last week, a judge in the Be'er Sheva District Court ruled that the bomb shelter must be emptied, but the ruling was not implemented due to the hasidim's decision to appeal to the Supreme Court. According to Kikar Hashabbat, the appeal noted that the hasidim had moved into the shelter over a month ago, and the law mandates that removal must be within 30 days of entry.
However, one neighborhood resident testified that the Gur hasidim had taken over the shelter less than 30 days ago, offering the Supreme Court additional grounds for the appeal and allowing the municipality to close the shelter.
The court also ordered the Gur hasidim to pay 20,000 NIS ($5,724) in legal fees.
Ze'ev Jabotinsky's brilliance led him to positions that differed from those of his fellow Zionists, who then attacked him harshly. His prescience was proven years later – often, too late.
by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed who wrote it in Hebrew
This article appeared in the ‘Besheva’ newspaper and was translated into English
When expressing gratitude to eminent Jewish personalities, it is fitting to include the founder of the Betar movement, Ze’ev Jabotinsky, who passed away on the 29th of Tamuz, 5700 (Aug. 4th, 1940), and in his teachings and deeds worked for the redemption of the Jewish nation and its land – matters important to discuss during the days of ‘bein ha-metzarim’ (the Three Weeks leading up to Tisha B’Av).
Dayton, Ohio, gunfire results in 10 deaths, including gunman; at least 16 wounded
Ten people were killed early Sunday when gunfire broke out in Dayton, Ohio, according to police. The number of fatalities included the gunman, though how the unidentified shooter died was not immediately clear.
After some eight hours of working, police, rescue officials and ZAKA succeeded in extricating the body of a chareidi man from a narrow well near Modi’in Illit near the Green Park neighborhood in the chareidi city.
Authorities say that some children were playing in the area, and saw a man climb into the well to toivel. They never saw him emerge, and later saw his clothing near the well. The children immediately summoned emergency authorities, and shortly after their arrival, it was determined that it was no longer a rescue mission but one of recovery.
Chaim Autmazgan, the commander of the ZAKA unit explained “during the eight-hour period, ZAKA volunteers worked together with the ZAKA divers, assisted by firefighters and police at the scene to extricate the body from the well”.
Autmazgan reported the recovery of the body was a complicated operation due to the size of the well and other factors. Eventually, it was MDA paramedic Felix Loton who got the body out, with ZAKA diving experts directing his movements.
Footage of an anti-Semitic couple in the Catskills has gone viral, after the two launched into an expletive-laden anti-Jewish rant against a Jewish driver.
The incident occurred in the city of Monticello, in Sullivan County, New York recently, when the anti-Semitic couple accused 25-year-old Brooklyn musician Isaac Bernath of cutting them off on the road, in an apparent case of road rage.
“Go back to f***ing Brooklyn,” the husband said, while giving the middle finger to Bernath. “Right there, to all of you f***ing non-tax paying scumbags.”
If it were unclear that the couple’s rant was directed at Jews, the husband quickly removed any doubt.
“You’re pieces of s***, your whole f***ing religion.”
“You dirty, nasty people. You ruin the whole place.”
Behind him, the man’s wife repeated the words “Inbred, inbred.”
Bernath said such anti-Semitic incidents were common.
"This is a very common occurrence,” he told News 12.
“I wasn't surprised, but I was glad I got it on video to expose it."
Gary Siepser of the Jewish Federation of Rockland condemned the incident as “mindless, stupid hate”.
"Particularly disturbing for members of the Jewish community. We know our history. We know what this sort of mindless, stupid hate can lead to.”

Sikrikim on Wednesday afternoon, 8 Shevat, attacked Deputy Jerusalem Mayor Yossi Deutsch during the afternoon hours. The Yahadut Hatorah deputy mayor was not injured. The attack occurred near the Slonim Yeshiva in Meah Shearim.
According to a Kikar Shabbos News report, Deutsch was compelled to hide in the Avner barber shop as would-be assailants stood outside shouting at him. They accuse him of informing authorities of the identities of those hanging pashkavilim against induction into the IDF.
As Deutsch was making his escape from the barber shop, some tried to prevent him in the hope more protesters would come to their aid. This was the second attack against him in Meah Shearim in recent weeks.
Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat called on Jerusalem Police Chief to personally order an investigation into the attack and bring the attackers to justice.
Pop-diva Jennifer Lopez landed in Israel on Tuesday ahead of her first ever performance in the country due to take place at Tel Aviv HaYarkon Park on August 1. DIN Staff was told that J-Lo is not "makpid" about doing a music concert in the 3 weeks ...her spokesman added that "nowhere in the entire Talmud or in the entire Shulchn Aruch is it written that one cannot play or listen to music in the 3 weeks.."
She pointed out that the Chasam Sofer (o.ch.160) writes that the halacha of משנכנס אב ממעטין בשמחה refers to only one halacha which is "Not to build a בנין של שמחה in the 9 days..... not the 3 weeks. All other restrictions, halachically doesn't even start on Rosh Chodosh Av but starts at the beginning of the week of Tisha B'avשבוע שחל בו .... and this year since Tisha Be'ov is on a Sunday we don't even have a שבוע שחל בו .... so where do the 3 weeks come from? DIN explained to her spokesman that, number one ...the restrictions do start from Rosh Chodesh, which will be this Thursday night, when she will have her concert, because since we are Ashkenazim,we follow the minhag Rema that says ואנו נוהגין להחמיר DIN also added that we actually do have a minhag not to listen to music in the 3 weeks even though it's takeh not explicitly written in the Shulchan Aruch... We know this from a Pri Megadim that says that someone who makes a living playing for goyim may continue to play in the 3 weeks... which is mashmeh that Jews had a minhag not to play or listen to music in the 3 weeks. Also the Rema 551:2 and 4 writes we don't do weddings in the three weeks ... even though the Mechaber only holds ..... שבוע שחל בו So if we cannot do weddings which is a mitzvah we certainly cannot do concerts according to the Ramah. During these intense halachic discussions, J-Lo piped in... and quipped .... "if I were Jewish I would have been a Sfardi ..." DIN didn't get to discuss with the J-Lo team Kol Isha!
Lopez, who goes by the moniker J-Lo, was accompanied by her fiancé Alexander “A-Rod” Rodriguez, a former professional baseball star, and her 11-year-old twins from her marriage to singer Mark Anthony.
This is the 50-year-old singer’s first time visiting the country.
The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer came out of the plane wearing a leopard-print crop top and a matching pair of leggings with oversized sunglasses covering her face.
The concert in Israel - as part of her “It’s My Party” world tour - is one of only five live shows to take place outside of North America.
She is considered one of the world's biggest pop stars, who during her last musical tour sold over 1 million tickets and some 80 million records worldwide.
The pop star is set to take the Tel Aviv's stage at 8:45pm this Thursday.
A terrible tragedy struck the Boro Park community on Tuesday, when word spread of the drowning of a young child.
Tzvi (Hersh) Elimelech Yechiel Michel Grossman Z”L (son of R’ Moshe and Mrs Shaindel), 9-years-old, was on a camp trip with the Belzer Talmud Torah to the Sahara Sam’s Water Park in West Berlin, NJ, where the tragedy occurred at around 7:30PM. The park had been rented out, and there were multiple camps at the park (Vien, Pupa and others).
Emergency personnel did everything they could to save his life, and Paramedics transported the child to Virtua Voorhees, where he was unfortunately Niftar.
An ambitious plan for the new entrance to Jerusalem is underway, which will forever change the main entrance to the capital city of Israel.
The new complex, expected to be completed by 2022, spans over 300,000 square meters (328,084 square yards) and is expected to cost about NIS 1.5 billion ($435 million). The project will feature 24 towers, spanning between 24 and 40 flights tall. The towers will include approximately 1.5 million square meters of space that will be used for office space, hotels, housing units, and commerce.
As you guys know, I now live B"H in Israel, I can no longer distinguish a Yeshivishe Sfardi from an Ashkenazi, unless the guy goes over to be the Chazzan ... Sfardim dress look like Ashkeneizim and dress like them too ... I'm talking about the "Yeshivishe guys." Well, now the Sfardi Chief Rabbi, R' Yitzchok Yosef, sharply criticized the Sfardim .... He asked where "did they get the minhag of growing wild Peyois like (the sexual pervert) Berland, wearing Tzizis outside and Techeilis come from?" Where did "they get the minhag to dress in white?" In reference to having Techielis is tzizis, he asked: Did Harav Eliyashiv or Harav Auerbach wear Techeilis? In reference to wearing tzizis outside, he asked: "Did Harav Ovadia Yosef or Chacham Yehuda Tzuska wear tzizis outside?" On growing peyois especially to the pipuk, he asked: "Did the Ben Ish Chai, the Kaf Hachayim or Harav Yosef have peyois?" "That's not our Minhag!" If the Ashkenazim want to grow their peyois, or wear their tzizis outside... Kol Hakovoid....... but we are not Ashkenazim and we shouldn't be imitating them!
Israeli tourists, then suspected of raping a 19-year-old British girl in Ayia Napa, leave the court premises in the eastern Cypriot resort of Paralimni on July 26, 2019. The men have since been exonorated of rape, with the woman's admission that she lied. (Iakovos Hatzistavrou / AFP)
Last night was extremely difficult for me.
Seeing those Israelis in Cyprus cleared of rape (but guilty of plenty of other stuff) wearing kippot and giving thanks to God for “saving them” made me ill. Part of my reaction was based on what they did. Part of my reaction was based on what they represent.
A quick background on the story:
A couple of weeks ago, 12 Israelis vacationing in Cyprus were arrested for sexually assaulting (raping) a British tourist. Since then, this woman has retracted her charges and is being charged with placing a false complaint. Having said that, there is no dispute that many of these teens had sexual relations with her, filmed the action, and sent the video out on social media. Anyone wanting to read more about the sordid story can do so here.
