Israel’s Supreme Court has ruled that botei din may no longer impose jurisdiction on Israeli citizens whose center of life is abroad

The Meir Kins of this world  just won a great victory; they can now come to Israel with no repercussions. They can marry another woman without divorcing the first in the USA and come to Israel on vacation!

In a sweeping and precedent-setting decision, Israel’s Supreme Court has ruled that botei din may no longer impose jurisdiction on Israeli citizens whose center of life is abroad, even if they briefly enter the country. The dramatic judgment brings an end to years of legal and halachic friction over so-called “airport jurisdiction,” in which litigants were summoned to rabbinical courts based solely on fleeting physical presence in Israel.

Justice Yechiel Kasher overturned a ruling of the Rabbinical High Court and clarified that Israeli rabbinical courts have authority over marriage, divorce, and related financial matters only when there is a “substantive connection” to the State of Israel. Mere Israeli citizenship or a short visit to the country, he ruled, is insufficient to establish international jurisdiction.

At the heart of the case was the interpretation of Section 1 of the Rabbinical Courts Jurisdiction Law, which grants rabbinical courts exclusive authority over matters of marriage and divorce involving Jews who are “in Israel, citizens of the state or its residents.” The key question was the meaning of the phrase “in Israel”: does it require a genuine, meaningful connection to the country, or is temporary physical presence enough?

Justice Kasher decisively rejected the broader interpretation. He ruled that without a real and substantial link to Israel, the courts lack international jurisdiction. As a result, Israeli citizens who live abroad and visit Israel briefly can no longer find themselves suddenly subject to rabbinical court proceedings—particularly financial and property claims—when all of their assets and daily lives are based overseas.

The ruling places significant emphasis on preventing legal injustice. Justice Kasher noted that recognizing jurisdiction based solely on momentary presence could lead to unfair outcomes and coercive litigation tactics. He pointed to earlier Supreme Court rulings that require a “proper connection” to Israel before judicial authority can be exercised. Considerations of judicial efficiency also played a role, with the court stating that Israel is not the appropriate forum for disputes involving individuals who lack sufficient ties to the country.

Importantly, the court held that this interpretation applies equally to both parties in a dispute. Just as a defendant may argue a lack of sufficient connection to Israel, so too may a plaintiff be required to demonstrate such a connection in order to bring a case before the rabbinical courts.

The precedent-setting decision arose from a dispute between a couple who married in Israel in 1985 but soon thereafter relocated to the United Kingdom. The wife remained in Britain, while the husband later initiated proceedings against her in Jerusalem, taking advantage of her brief visit to Israel. Both the regional rabbinical court and the Rabbinical High Court had approved the move, but the Supreme Court intervened and put a stop to it.

Justice Kasher ordered that the case be returned to the regional rabbinical court for a renewed factual examination of the woman’s substantive connection to Israel. He also ordered the husband to pay 40,000 shekels in legal costs.

Deputy President of the Supreme Court Noam Sohlberg concurred with the outcome, stressing that since the bulk of the couple’s assets are located in the United Kingdom, Israel is not the appropriate legal forum for resolving the dispute.

Jewish Lady "Whose family was murdered in the Holocaust" disrupts Bondi Beach terror attack vigil with bizarre Palestine comments

Police have removed a woman from a memorial vigil for the Bondi Beach terror attack after she launched into a pro-Palestine protest and made anti-Israel comments

As officers escorted her away, she shouted accusations that others were politicizing the tragedy and demanded Israeli flags be taken down.

The protester, who was wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf, was heckled by hundreds in the crowd, with chants of 'get her out.'

She later told the media that she was Jewish and believed she had a right to protest at the vigil.

'I came here today because I'm a Jewish person. My family was murdered in the Holocaust... This community has politicized this tragedy,' she said.

Governor-General Sam Mostyn called the woman's intervention 'incredibly disrespectful'.

'It was a disgrace and I know the community here reacted how they should.'

One mourner told Daily Mail: 'This was meant to be a quiet moment of reflection, people were grieving, and suddenly it just descended into chaos.’

The vigil drew many from the Jewish community following a deadly attack where two gunmen killed 16 people at a Hanukkah event being held at the beach.

Two heavily armed men, allegedly Naveed Akram, 24, and his 50-year-old father Sajid Akram stood on a pedestrian footbridge and opened fire with military-grade weapons into the crowds of locals, holidaymakers and families.

So far 16 people have died, including alleged gunman Sajid Akram, while a further 42 people, including four children, were taken to hospital.

Police confirmed 14 people had died at the scene, while two others died overnight in hospital, with the victims ranging in age between 10 and 87 years old.

As of Monday, there were five people in critical condition, including two police officers - a constable and a probationary constable who was repeatedly shot in the face.

Naveed Akram is in hospital under police guard after being shot by police.

Netanyahu to Supreme Court: Don't interfere in ministerial appointments

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening submitted his response to petitions filed with the Supreme Court against the continued tenure of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

“The petitions must be dismissed outright, or alternatively, rejected on their merits. This is primarily due to the complete absence of any legal grounds for such an extraordinary and extreme intervention in the foremost constitutional act - the formation of the elected government, as determined by law through the Knesset, the government, and its leader. Such intervention would carry anti-democratic implications, undermining the separation of powers, principles of proper governance, the law, and judicial precedent,” the response stated.

It further noted, “The Honorable Court must not accede to petitions that seek to establish a precedent of judicial interference in the appointment of government ministers based on ideological opposition to the policies advanced by the minister.”

“The petitions before us are nothing more than an unconstitutional attempt to remove a government minister and must be dismissed outright,” the response submitted to the Supreme Court declared.

Rare 1,300-year-old lead pendant decorated with a menorah uncovered on Temple Mount

A rare, 1,300-year-old lead pendant decorated with a menorah symbol was uncovered during an archaeological excavation beneath the southwestern corner of the Temple Mount, north of the City of David

The excavation has been conducted in recent years by the Israel Antiquities Authority in cooperation with the City of David Foundation and the Company for the Restoration and Development of the Jewish Quarter. The find was discovered in the Davidson Archaeological Park of Jerusalem.
Only one other ancient lead pendant bearing the Menorah symbol is known in the world.

How did an ancient pendant made of cast lead, decorated on both sides with a seven-branched menorah, come to Jerusalem at a time when Jewish presence in the city was restricted?

A very rare personal necklace pendant from the 6th - early 7th centuries CE (Late Byzantine period) was recently discovered in a large-scale archaeological excavation in the Davidson Archaeological Park of Jerusalem, conducted by the Israel Antiquities Authority in cooperation with the City of David Foundation and the Company for the Reconstruction and Development of the Jewish Quarter. The rare find is decorated on both sides with an identical image of a seven-branched menorah and was apparently worn by a Jew who arrived in Jerusalem during the Byzantine period, when Jews were prohibited from entering the city.

“One day while I was digging inside an ancient structure, I suddenly saw something different, gray, among the stones”, says Ayayu Belete, a City of David worker. “I picked up the object out and saw that it was a pendant with a menorah on it. I immediately showed the find to Esther Rakow-Mellet, the area director, and she said it was an especially rare find. I was deeply moved and excited!”

Chilling Testimonies From Sydney: “4 Police Officers Fled, Didn’t Return Fire”

Harrowing testimonies from the massacre at a Chabad Chanukah event in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday revealed the extent of the police failure, with one witness saying, “Even the police started running away—they just didn’t understand what was happening.”

Roni Asaraf, who escaped with his children from the inferno at Bondi Beach, recounted the moments of terror under fire in an interview with Channel 14.

Asaraf said that the fact that his family arrived at the event about half an hour late probably saved his life and the lives of his six children.

“We arrived at 6:30 p.m. instead of 5 p.m.,” he said. “The moment we entered, the chaos started. Even the police started running away—they didn’t understand what was happening.”

“We heard gunshots and started running like crazy with the children away from the beach. We are experienced, and we quickly understood that this was not fireworks but a terror attack. We managed to escape while helping other families with children.”

“We were extremely close to the terrorists. They came to shoot us even along our escape route out of the party, on the bridge.”

Asaraf said that his children were traumatized. “We’re shaken. There is hatred here, but we never imagined it would reach this level.”

Shmulik, another survivor, provided a particularly chilling description. “There were two terrorists—one on the bridge and one below it. They just shot non-stop for about 20 minutes. They shot, changed magazines, and continued shooting. There were four policemen there—no one returned fire. Nothing. They just froze.”

According to him, one of the terrorists slowly approached the crowd and opened fire. “I was watching him the entire time. I was with two babies—I was lying on top of them. I saw how he aimed, took his time, and opened fire. It was an attempt to hurt all Jews—men, women, children and the elderly.”

Another survivor, Ronen Toina, described the overwhelming sense of helplessness: “They surprised us and started shooting like madmen—this was a very severe terror incident. I feel like some kind of ‘Yehudon’ in the Golah here, without security and helpless. I send my daughter to a Jewish school, and I don’t know what will happen tomorrow.”

Pro-Israel Candidate José Antonio Kast, the Son of a Nazi Official, Wins Presidency in Chile

José Antonio Kast, a far-right firebrand and vocal supporter of Israel, has secured the Chilean presidency after winning Sunday’s runoff election with 60% of the vote, marking a dramatic rightward turn for one of Latin America’s most politically polarized nations.

Kast, the son of a former Nazi officer, will succeed President Gabriel Boric, a progressive who made headlines for severing diplomatic ties with Israel in the wake of the October 7 Hamas attacks. The president-elect has long criticized Boric’s foreign policy as ideologically driven and “irresponsible,” vowing throughout his campaign to restore ties with Jerusalem and recalibrate Chile’s global posture.

“Chile’s foreign relations are too relevant to prioritize the whims of a president over the interests of the Nation,” Kast posted on X earlier this year, referencing Boric’s exclusion of Israel from a major air show.

Kast’s victory comes despite his uncompromising stance on Israel in a country with the largest Palestinian diaspora outside the Middle East. His rhetoric on the Hamas attack, Iran’s aggression, and Chile’s national security struck a chord with voters anxious about global instability and domestic unrest.

Rob Reiner & His Wife Found Murdered in Los Angeles Home

Acclaimed actor and director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead Sunday in their Brentwood home, according to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a medical aid call at the residence around 3:30 p.m. and discovered the bodies of a man, approximately 78, and a woman, approximately 68 — ages matching those of Reiner and his wife.

Sources told TMZ the couple suffered multiple knife wounds. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Robbery-Homicide Division is investigating the deaths as a homicide.

Authorities have not officially confirmed the identities of the deceased or released details on the cause of death.

Reiner, 78, gained fame as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the groundbreaking 1970s sitcom “All in the Family,” earning two Emmy Awards. He later directed classic films including “This Is Spinal Tap,” “The Princess Bride,” “Stand by Me,” “When Harry Met Sally…” “Misery” and “A Few Good Men.” He also appeared in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street” as the father of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character.

Reiner was born Jewish and has spoken in past interviews about maintaining a cultural connection to Judaism, observing some Jewish holidays, though he described himself as not religious.

He met Singer, a photographer, while directing When Harry Met Sally…. The couple married in 1989 and had three children: Jake, Nick and Romy.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Yeshiva students and the Tribe of Levi's obligation to serve

by Rabbi Eliezer Melamed
 The Question:

I have heard that members of the Haredi community claim that yeshiva boys are exempt from military service because they are considered like members of the Tribe of Levi, who dedicated themselves to Torah study, and did not divert their minds to anything else.

And even though many in the Haredi community are not descendants of the Tribe of Levi, any Jewish person may choose to conduct himself like the Tribe of Levi, as the Rambam wrote:

“And why did Levi not merit an inheritance in the Land of Israel and its spoils together with his brothers? Because he was set apart to serve the Lord, to minister to Him, and to teach His straight ways and His righteous laws to the public, as it is said: ‘They shall teach Your judgments to Jacob and Your Torah to Israel.’ Therefore, they were set apart from the ways of the world-they do not wage war like the rest of Israel, and they do not inherit or acquire for themselves by the strength of their bodies.

"Rather, they are the Lord’s Legion, as it is said: ‘Bless, O Lord, his army.’ And He, blessed be He, provides for them, as it is said: ‘I am your portion and your inheritance.’

"And not only the Tribe of Levi, but any person from among all the inhabitants of the world whose spirit generously moves him, and whose intellect understands to set himself apart to stand before the Lord, to serve Him, and to worship Him, to know the Lord, and who walks uprightly as God made him, and who throws off from his neck the yoke of the many calculations that people seek-behold, he becomes sanctified as Holy of Holies. And the Lord shall be his portion and inheritance forever and ever, and He will grant him in this world that which is sufficient for him, as He has granted to the Kohanim and the Levites. As David, peace upon him, said: ‘The Lord is my portion and my cup; You maintain my lot.’” (Hilchot Shemittah ve’Yovel 13:12-13).

Answer: Two Errors

There are two fundamental errors in the position that claims that the sons of the Tribe of Levi did not take part in the wars of Israel:

1. In practice, numerous Kohanim and Levites participated in the wars of Israel like all other soldiers; among them were great righteous men, such as Benaiah son of Yehoiada.

2. Moreover, before the Kohanim and Levites took part in the wars as regular fighters, they led the soldiers of Israel in their battles: as the Kohen anointed for war, as bearers of the Ark that went out with the fighters, as those who blew the trumpets, as officers responsible for exemptions from the draft, and as officers who harshly punished those who fled the battlefield.

In other words, they served as the “Military Rabbinate Corps,” “Education Corps,” “Military Police,” and “Military Prosecution,” and afterward, still participated as regular fighters. Thus, in practice, they participated in the wars more than all the other tribes.

Since the damage caused by an error in such an important issue is very serious, and as our Sages said: “A mistaken ruling in learning is counted as intentional wrongdoing” (Avot 4:13), I will expand upon these foundations.

Body of Aba Shaul of Bnei-Brak Has Been Retrieved

A body was found in the Yarkon River Sunday afternoon, during extensive searches for the missing Eliyahu Aba Shaul, a 19-year-old from Bnei Brak.

Aba Shaul was last seen on Wednesday, and since then, intensive search efforts have been underway.

The body was located by ZAKA volunteers in coordination with the Israel Police and the Fire and Rescue Service's Lehava Unit, in the area around the Yarkon River and its environs.

Police are currently verifying the identity of the body, and no official announcement has been made regarding its identification.

On Thursday evening, Aba Shaul's clothes were found alongside an electric bicycle near the Yarkon River, from the direction of Rokah Street in Ramat Gan, which led to a focused search effort in the area.

On Sunday morning, a reassessment of the situation was held by the police, led by Dan District Commander, Deputy Commander Elad Klein, along with all relevant parties involved in the field operations.

The Satmar Opposition to the Daf Yoimie

In the above video R' Eli Stefansky reads an email from a Satmar chusid who says that the Satmar SHIT'ah is against Jews learning the Daf!

I've written many times about this and I still cannot wrap my head around this!

Rav Meir Shapiro stands before the Congress. His proposal: one page of Gemara a day, studied by Jews everywhere.

Until then, only a few tractates were learned regularly — Berachot, Shabbat, Eruvin. Others, like Zevachim and Temurah, were ignored. Rav Shapiro’s vision was bold: every Jew, every tractate, every day.

On Elul 10, 5683, the resolution passed. A new era began. Daf Yomi wasn’t just about study. It was about unity. As Rav Shapiro told the delegates: one people, one page, one heartbeat.

What a great thing! A Jew travels by boat and takes gemara Berachot under his arm. He travels for 15 days from Eretz Yisrael to America, and each day he learns the daf. When he arrives in America, he enters a beis medrash in New York and finds Jews learning the very same daf that he studied on that day, and he gladly joins them. Another Jew leaves the States and travels to Brazil or Japan, and he first goes to the beis medrash, where he finds everyone learning the same daf that he himself learned that day. Could there be greater unity of hearts than this?

R’ Meir’s idea was greeted by the six hundred delegates present at the Knessiya with a standing ovation, later described by the Bluzhever Rebbe in the Artscroll book Five Great Leaders as similar to Ma’amad Har Sinai and by the Chofetz Chaim as something that “would hasten the coming of Mashiach.”

The first Daf Yomi cycle began on Rosh Hashana of 5684, which coincided with September 11, 1923. The Gerrer Rebbe was just one of the tens of thousands in Europe, Israel and America who took upon himself to learn Daf Yomi and his many followers hastened to follow his lead.

All this is true except if you dare walk into a Reform Temple or a Satmar Bais Medrish!

R' Yoel Teitelbaum, the founder of Satmar Chassidius opposed learning the Daf Yoimie because this idea originated from Harav Meir Shapiro a member of the Agudah! Even though this was a way to "unify the Jewish people" the Satmar Rebbe would have nothing to do with that!

Why?

Because the proposal was made by the Aguda!!

A frum Jew a leader of tens of thousands was against this idea, was against unity!

I cannot understand this at all.

We just went to the beach to celebrate Chanukkah

They say you never know when it’s going to be your last. It’s 8:07 p.m. The hell began apparently just one hour ago, but it feels like a lifetime ago. I am writing on my sister-in-law’s iPad because I don’t have my phone, I don’t have my keys, my pram or anything, everything has been left there. I feel naked without my phone and I can’t stop fixating on it, yet I am so grateful for my life. Most importantly, my baby’s life. I can’t even believe I am writing this. I am in shock, in disbelief. I want to vomit.

All I remember is one minute everything is nice and grand. I’m chatting to my friend about joining her beach plans on Friday, and then I hear fireworks. Huh, I thought to myself as I look up at the sky, confused. I don’t see fireworks. Suddenly I hear everyone and see the CSG guys saying, “Down, down, everyone down.”

Rabbi Eli Schlanger Originally of Beit Shemesh Murdered in the terrorist attack in Sydney Recently Sent a Letter to PM Albanese after Australia Recognized a Palestinian State

Rabbi Eli Schlanger, a Chabad rabbi and emissary, had recently sent a letter to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. In the letter, written after Australia recognized a Palestinian state, Schlanger urged Albanese not to betray the Jewish people and called on him to reverse the decision. Today, Rabbi Eli Schlanger was murdered along with 10 others at a Hanukkah event he organized, killed in cold blood for being Jewish in Australia.

Today he was murdered in the terrorist attack in Sydney during Hanukkah, leaving behind a wife and four children.

Arab activist Ahed Tamimi Stuns Satmar Stooges With Her Statement "I am against Judaism, not just Zionism"

Satmar activists love to parade around with the slogan “Judaism is not Zionism.” But history tells a different story. Hitler didn’t care — he murdered Satmar Chassidim right alongside Zionist chilonim.

The truth of Eisav soneh le’Yaakov seems absent from the Satmar lexicon. Instead, they pin every misfortune on Zionism. And so, it’s no shock that on their holiest day of the year, Chooooooof Alef Kislev, a day marking the rescue of Satmar Founder R' Yoel Teitelbaum from the nazis by a Zionist, they invite a vicious hater of the only Jewish state — home to over 7 million Jews — a man who has openly said he wishes Israel would disappear.  Ahed Tamimi would like to see the demise of Satmar also!

The hypocrisy is staggering. The Romanian hangers‑on, the Satmar crowd, will find out very quickly — right after the non‑Jewish New Year — who really calls the shots. And as crazy as this sounds, I agree with Tamimi, Judaism =Zionism!

Palestinian Arab activist and instigator Ahed Tamimi recently stated that she is against Judaism, not just Zionism, and that she continues to view Jews as terrorists.

In remarks made this past July, Tamimi declared that she is not represented by people who seek peace with Israel and that she does not want peace with Israel.

She also delivered a scathing criticism of the Palestinian Authority, saying it is the greatest obstacle to the “Palestinian national struggle”.

The remarks, posted online by the Watan News Agency, were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

"Who said that we want peace with the occupiers? I reached a point when I cannot live in peace with these occupiers, even if they would prove that they are better human beings than me. They themselves brought me to this point. I am not going to keep making excuses to this occupier and say that I am against Zionism, not against Judaism,” said Tamimi.

“I am against Judaism, and against anyone who... Just as I am defending my Islam from ISIS, you defend your Judaism from Zionism. I am going to continue to view Jews as terrorists and say that they are terrorists until they defend their religion like I defend my religion.”

"How can I be expected to sit at the table and resolve the [inter-Palestinian] split, with people who to this very day side with their own executioners, people who are mentally ill, stuck in their role as victims?” Tamimi said.

"I support changing the [Palestinian] Authority, I am sad to say. I always ask myself - what is the role of the Palestinian Authority? Does its very existence help the [Palestinian] cause? I am not talking about whether it is acting in a way that is right or wrong. What I am saying is that its very existence has become the greatest obstacle in the way of the Palestinian national and social struggle. I am represented only by the resistance."

In March 2018, Tamimi was convicted of four counts of assaulting an IDF officer and soldier, incitement and interfering with IDF forces, after she was filmed slapping an Israeli soldier during a protest of leftists and Palestinian Arabs in her town of Nabi Saleh. She was sentenced to eight months' imprisonment in practice and fined 5,000 shekels as part of a plea bargain.

In 2023, she was arrested once again over serious online incitement against the IDF and over her calls for the murder of Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.

In a post on her Instagram account a week earlier, Tamimi wrote, "Our message to the settlers - we are waiting for you in all the cities of the West Bank, from Hebron to Jenin. We will slaughter you and you will say that what Hitler did to you was a joke. We will drink your blood and eat your skulls, come on, we're waiting for you."

Massacre at Chanukkah celebration in Sydney At least 12 people dead

At least 12 people have been murdered and dozens wounded in a mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia.

Sky News Australia reported that 10 people were murdered in the attack. The death toll later rose to 12, police announced.

The incident occurred at Bondi Beach, where about 2,000 people were gathered to attend a Hanukkah celebration. The Daily Mail reported that eyewitnesses claim two individuals in black were firing weapons near the beach.

NSW Police confirmed a “developing incident” and warned the public to avoid the area and take shelter.

One witness told the Sydney Morning Herald: “I saw at least 10 people on the ground and blood everywhere."

Another witness told 9 News that the wounded were being "carried out on surfboards because there weren't enough stretchers."

Videos posted to social media showed many people lying on the ground covered in blood while witnesses and first responders attempted CPR on several wounded people.

Police reported that two people are in custody in connection with the shooting. One of the attackers has been killed, according to some reports.

The celebration, titled 'Chanukah by the Sea,' was held near a playground and featured activities for all ages. It was held by the Chabad of Bondi.

The Chabad movement announced that one of its emissaries was among the fatalities in the shooting.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar spoke with David Ossip, President of the New South Wales Jewish Board of Deputies. Minister Sa’ar expressed his shock over the deadly shooting in Sydney, Australia, and sought to convey his support to the community during this difficult time. The President of the Board shared preliminary details of the severe incident with the Minister.

World Zionist Organization chairman Yaakov Hagoel stated in response to the incident: "The series of antisemitic attacks around the world is shocking and reminds us all of dark periods in history. Since October 7, a war has broken out not only against the State of Israel but against every Jew around the world, who have become the eighth front in this war."

"The World Zionist Organization will continue to stand by the Jewish community in Sydney and other Jewish communities around the world, supporting them in every way. We call on the Australian government to take a firm stance against any manifestation of antisemitism and are confident that it will do so. The Hanukkah holiday we celebrate this evening reminds us that the light of the Jewish people will ultimately triumph over the darkness," Hagoel said.

Another View of Rabbi Feldman's Ban of Efraim Palvanov!

DIN: I’ve listened to some of Palvanov’s podcasts, and I’m quite certain Rav Feldman hasn’t listened to a single one. That didn’t stop him from issuing his sweeping statement, of course.

The truth is, I regularly listen to podcasts and video clips from Charedi Gedolim, and I can say firsthand: their statements are often far more outrageous than anything Palvanov has ever said. In fact, some of Rav Feldman’s remarks about the State of Israel border on apikorsis and certainly qualify as loshon hara.

Now, I’m not saying I agree with Nochum Weiss, who chose to leave his community. But by sharing what he wrote, I’m opening up a conversation. Judaism, after all, is built on questions. The entire Talmud is a tapestry of contradictions, debates, and challenges — every other line is a question.

So why should we shy away from asking ours?

Rabbi Hirsch met with Mamzar'ani and is warning NYC Jews about him!

I was part of a group of rabbis who met again yesterday with @ZohranKMamdani .

While we were pleased to be able to discuss our concerns with the mayor-elect, those concerns remain.
We've never before had a mayor who has expressed this kind of ideological hostility to the very existence of Israel.

It is not about policy differences; rather, it is about the denial of Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state at all.

I continue to worry deeply about the upcoming four years and conveyed to the mayor-elect that anti-Zionist rhetoric and anti-Israel policies will threaten Jewish safety in NYC and will, inevitably, lead to an unproductive and tense relationship with the Jewish community. What Mr. Mamdani says and which policies he pursues is up to him — he will be the mayor — but I emphasized that the Jewish community will energetically oppose any and all anti-Israel rhetoric and action.

The Terrorist that Murdered two US Troops in Syria is a personal guard linked to Ahmed al-Sharaa (al-Jolani), Syria’s new “president.”

PALMYRA ATTACK THAT KILLED 2 US SERVICEMEN IS A STAB IN THE BACK TO TRUMP. Initial reports blamed ISIS for the attack that killed two U.S. servicemen and an interpreter in Syria. New details are far more disturbing. The suicide bomber who struck a joint U.S.–Syrian patrol in Palmyra is now identified as a member of Syrian Public Security, and a personal guard linked to Ahmed al-Sharaa (al-Jolani), Syria’s new “president.” He had reportedly been flagged for extremist ideology but remained on duty. The man circled in this photo is the alleged attacker. This was not just an ISIS attack. It was an insider strike from within a force meant to be a partner.
