Grown "Men" In Bet Shemesh Interfere With Crew That Remove Grafittee Calling Mayor Aliza Bloch "Hitler"

Authorities clean up graffiti in Beit Shemesh appearing to say "Aliza Bloch is Hitler"

Nooooooooo! These weren't kids looking for trouble... these weren't kids bored out of their minds ...
These were "grown men" married barbarians who were interfering with the cleaning crews........
These are the same guys that schnoor every day in the shuls in Bet Shemesh Alef and Gimmel ..
Ye! let's keep funding these miserable parasites!
Minor scuffles broke out Friday in Beit Shemesh between the police and ultra-Orthodox demonstrators as authorities cleaned up graffiti against the Jerusalem-area city’s mayor.

Video footage showed a group of ultra-Orthodox men approaching an official cleaning the graffiti, while police officers tried to stop them. In a second video, shoving could be seen as the police tried to keep the demonstrators away.
The graffiti in Hebrew appeared to read “Aliza Bloch = Hitler.”
According to the Kan public broadcaster, the graffiti seemed to be in protest of the demolishing of an illegally built synagogue in the city earlier in the week.
A photo of other graffiti purportedly from the city labeled Bloch a “terrorist” over the demolition.
“To call Aliza Bloch, the mayor of Beit Shemesh, a terrorist is grave incitement and we can’t be silent,” centrist Blue and White MK Yair Lapid wrote on Twitter.
Lapid called on police to probe the graffiti and arrest whoever was behind it. “Terrorists are people who murder not a mayor in Israel,” he said.
Bloch, a religious Zionist woman, was elected Beit Shemesh’s first female mayor last year in a runoff against ultra-Orthodox incumbent Moshe Abutbol.
Beit Shemesh in recent years has seen conflict between ultra-Orthodox, non-ultra-Orthodox and secular residents over restrictions on women’s dress and gender-segregated seating on public buses. In a widely publicized incident in 2011, an 8-year-old Orthodox girl was spat on by ultra-Orthodox men on her way to school for her perceived immodest dress.

Will "Off the Derech" be the Greatest "Kiddush Hashem?

by
RIVKAH LAMBERT ADLER

Yerachmiel Ziegler finally found his happy place in Israel. But it wasn’t a smooth ride to his current destination.

Born and raised Orthodox in Monsey, NY, Ziegler first visited Israel on a family trip when he was seven. “I remember being one of the first people to go on the Kotel tunnel tours. I had an uncle who was one of the excavators. That left an impression on me,” he recalled.

He has visceral memories of Bnei Brak as a child. “It smelled like a different country. The old buildings were on stilts. Everything there reminded me [that] I was in a different world.”

Ziegler started his musical career early in life. Inspired by older brothers who auditioned for the Tzlil V’zemer Boy’s Choir, Ziegler joined at age seven, two years younger than the choir’s minimum age.

"MAD Magazine" Closes ... Was Infused With Jewish Humor!

Mad Magazine’s gap-toothed mascot, Alfred E. Neuman, always said, “What? Me Worry?” and now there is really nothing left to trouble him, as the iconoclastic humor magazine announced it is shutting down after nearly 70 years of publication.

The magazine said Wednesday that its next issue would no longer be available on newsstands and would only be sold to subscribers, and that subsequent issues would feature only previously published content.

''Two Animals Together "
Is it possible for someone to set aside a pair of animals as Ma'aser simultaneously?

On this daf, Rabbi Yochanan says that if a person leads cattle out of an animal pen and two animals exit simultaneously, the person should continue to lead the animals in pairs.

The two animals exiting together as the tenth pair are both deemed sacred and consecrated as Ma'aser Beheimah.

25th Year Yurzeit of the Rebbe of Lubavitch!

"מה זרעו בחיים - אף הוא בחיים"

Twenty-five years is enough time to pause and reflect. This is what Jews around the world are doing this Shabbat as they observe the 25th yahrzeit of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson. For hassidim who stood in the New York cemetery that ominous day, it’s almost unfathomable that so much time has passed.

I remember the funeral vividly. With thousands gathered in the cemetery, I was standing inside the ohel, the granite-walled grave site, with some 75 others as the Rebbe was interred near his father-in-law and predecessor, Rabbi Yosef Yitzhak Schneerson. After listening to the Rebbe’s secretaries recite a tearful Kaddish, there was an eerie silence. We stood there, wondering what was next, still unbelieving and filled with unasked questions about how we as a community, as hassidim, could proceed.

Rabbanut Nullifies "Heter Meah Rabbanim" of Michael Eizenbach the Get Refuser

This guy, Michael Eizenbach , is a Toldos Aaron Chasid ... the Chassidus that wear the "Golden Bekeshes" !
He is a father of 5 and refuses to give his wife a "get."

First he went to the Eida Ha'chareidis and they told him that he must divorce his wife .... so he ran to the Rabbanut...and they told him that he cannot leave his wife an Agunah and must give her a "get!"

So he ran to Europe where he somehow convinced some old Rebbele to give him a "Heter Meah Ra'bonnim" and married someone else!

As you probably know that Biblically a man can have many wives, but once the "Issur Rabbeiny Gershon" kicked in, the rabbis forbade a guy to have another one ....

So what do you do, if a guy winds up with a woman that he claimes is insane?

The rabbis came up with a loophole...that if the husband manages to get 100 rabbis to sign off, they allow him to remarry !
What they do then is put the "Get" in escrow and the wife can pick up the "get" in Bais Din anytime she wants ....

Not so fast.....

The husband can put all kinds of conditions and restrictions on the "get in escrow"...and that's exactly what this menuval did ...
When the wife came to the Bais Din in Europe to collect her "get" they gave her so many conditions that it made it impossible for her to claim it ...
A similar story as with the EVIL RASHA Meir Kin

But this time he met his match and the Rabbanut in Israel nullified the "Heter Meah Rabbanim" on the basis that he got the Heter under false pretenses....

And so now... the Eizenbach guy is fighting the Rabbanut ...
Good Luck!

Have the "Chareidim Traffic Stoppers" Learned Anything From the Ethiopian Violent Protests?

A Jew answers a question with a question.....

The question .... is .. What did the Ethiopians accomplish with their violent protests?

Not only have they not accomplished anything, but they caused an avalanche of hatred and racism that hasn't been experienced in Israel since its creation.
It brought out the worst in people, and I'm not talking about the worst of the Ethiopians .... but the worst in the average guy!
The controversy if they are even Jewish is coming up again...since no one has seen such violence emanating from Jewish DNA!

60,000 people were stranded on the roads for hours, we still don't know the untold tragedies that occurred because of not being able to move ...

But what is surprising is that last night, the Auerbach Crazies, were also demonstrating ..... in Bnei Brak ...holding up traffic until the police arrived and beat the hell out of them...
It didn't make the news because the "Ethiopian Protests" sucked the oxygen out of the news cycle!

But in the shuls in Israel, and the Chareidie Newsletters, there was debate why the police "beat the Chareidim and not the Ethiopians."

First of all, we now know that it is a big lie spread by the Chareidim...
The police after two hours were given orders to use force against the Ethiopians... and wow...did they use force!

But my question is now to the Chareidim ...
Have you not seen that there is no sympathy for the Ethiopians at all now??

Now that they let the entire nation knows of their grievances ...is anyone going to do anything??

I am sure that a lot of Auerbach Crazies got stuck on the roads when the Ethiopians rioted ...
I wonder how they enjoyed that?
Do they have any sympathies for the "shvartzas" because they made you sit for hours in traffic?

In one of the Charedie Newsletters it was reported that a Chareidie lady sitting in a regular car on the way to the hospital in Bnei Brak and who was in traffic because of the Auerbach Crazies ... lost her unborn child!.....
Another person who was going to dialysis became very sick and had to be helicoptered to Shaarei Tzedek because they wouldn't let the car thru...
I am happy to hear that the Chareidie Newspapers are no longer keeping these tragic awful stores quiet ... but publicizing them ..and maybe now ..... the "oilim goilim" .... will take these Auerbach Crazies for who they are ... a bunch of hooligans ...
and all this came about because of the Ethiopian Violent protests ....

‘Politics is not for women,’ Rabbi Shlomo Aviner

A leading religious-Zionist rabbi in Israel rejected the possibility of asking former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked to head the Union of Right Wing Parties because “politics is not for women.”

Rabbi Shlomo Aviner was one of dozens of rabbis who signed a letter objecting to seeing Shaked named head of the Jewish Home Party, and thus the union. Shaked is secular.

“The composition of the party list is a statement that expresses our priorities, and this statement has far-reaching implications for us as a public and for the educational message that we convey to our children,” read the letter signed by heads of yeshivas and pre-army preparatory programs, neighborhood rabbis, and other rabbis. It did not specifically name Shaked.

The existence of the letter was first reported on Wednesday by the Walla! Hebrew news website.

Kiddush Clubs Panic As Fire Destroys Jim Beam Warehouse Filled With Bourbon Barrels

A fire destroyed a massive Jim Beam warehouse filled with 45,000 barrels of bourbon, sending flames shooting into the night sky and generating so much heat that firetruck lights melted, authorities said Wednesday.
Firefighters from four counties responded to the blaze that erupted late Tuesday. Lightning might have been a factor, but fire investigators haven’t been able to start looking for the cause, Woodford County Emergency Management Director Drew Chandler said.
No injuries were reported, Chandler said. The fire was contained but was being allowed to burn for several more hours Wednesday, he said.
“The longer it burns, the more of the distilled spirits burn with it,” he said in a phone interview. “So when they go to put it out, there will be less contaminated runoff that goes into a drinking-water tributary.”

How Many of the Rioters Were Really Ethiopians??

A far-left organization funded by the New Israel Fund has been actively aiding the recent wave of protests – many of them violent – which erupted across the country following the shooting death of Solomon Tekah, an Ethiopian teenager, in Haifa.

While some of the protests across the country have been peaceful, others turned violent, including attacks on police officers, ambulances, and private cars.

The joint Arab-Jewish ‘Standing Together’ organization, which is funded by the NIF, has taken an active role in the protests, which began Monday, resumed Tuesday following Tekah’s funeral, and which are expected to continue Wednesday.

“When police officers shooting people, civilians, and kill them, we go out to the streets,” Standing Together said. “When officers with a trigger finger start shooting people – that is everyone’s problem, so we’re all going out to the streets: blacks and whites, Jews and Arabs. Let’s demand that the police protect civilians, or at least to begin with, that they stop killing them.”

DIN Caught Up In Traffic During Ethiopian Riots

The Holiest of the Holy, the deepest of the deep got caught up in the "Svartzah" Riots in Israel!

Yes... you heard it first, I was sitting in the car for 4 & 1/2 hours in with my wife on the way back from Ashdod to Bet Shemesh!

The Ethiopians learned very well from the Auerbach Parasites, but the Ethiopians were able to perfect this to a science ...
they started fires and when the fire trucks arrived they threw bricks and glass bottles at the firemen just like they do in Meah Shearim!

But they became the experts and the Auerbach barbarians still have a lot to learn...
The Ethiopians managed to shut down within a few minutes the entire Israel, and according to some reports.. 60,000 people were effected by the riots ......

I went out of my car to see what was holding it up and noticed a few hundred police officers standing around 5 little skinny girls sitting on Kvish ... not letting any cars go in four directions...
the police stood around and did absolutely nothing!

Since I couldn't go anywhere, I shut my car off and chapped a shmuz with the other drivers ...
One particular driver a Yeshivishe guy, was cursing the "Zionist Police" because they were standing around waiting for orders and wouldn't do anything ...
He was going on and on telling us that his "wife and children are starving" and "thirsty and tired" and he "is so frustrated .."
I asked him to calm down ... and told him we are not going anywhere for a very long time...one cop had told me "עד הבוקר "  that the riots are expected to go on "till Morning" so it's better not to make a scene and calm his family down...
I told him that I have some snacks and water and asked him where his car was so that I can personally do the mitzvah ...
Guys ... sit down for this...
When I approached his car ....his wife was screaming her head off telling us that her husband should be "the last one to be upset since he is one of the "Auerbach Faction" protest leaders ..."
I'm telling you ..... only in Israel!

Satmar Rebbe's Favorite Country .. IRAN ... Breached the 2015 Nuclear Deal's Stockpile Limit

 א' קרח כ"ז סיון תשע"ט

The Holy Rebbe of Satmar, R Aron Teitelbaum who begged US Congressmen to back the Iran Deal .... must be very happy with his work fighting the State of Israel ..... since his favorite country, Iran is very close to having complete Nuclear capabilities...

In addition, Iran just threatened Israel again ... stating that Israel will be totally annihilated, Chas Ve'Shalom if the US should attack Iran!

IRan has breached the limit of its enriched uranium stockpile set in a 2015 deal with major powers, two sources told Reuters on Monday, defying a warning by European co-signatories to stick to the deal despite U.S. sanctions.
“As we announced when we said our steps would continue, the stockpile has passed 300 kg,” one of the sources said.

Don't forget Ezra "the capo" Friedlander wrote an op-ed in Jewish Newspapers supporting the deal...
Lo Tishkach!

The Rebbe also made the bizarre statement
"That it is prohibited to learn Torah in Israel"

Mental Health of Three Generations Has Been Harmed by the Holocaust

The physical effects of the Holocaust are still present in the brains of survivors’ grandchildren, research suggests.
The mental health of at least three generations of the same families was potentially damaged, say scientists, suggesting that the environment that one lives in can affect your offspring’s genes.
The study presented at a meeting of the European Academy of Neurology in Oslo was based on 56 people aged 79 and 80, half of whom survived the Holocaust.
It found that survivors had significantly less grey matter, or neurons, in areas of the brain responsible for stress response, memory, motivation, emotion, learning and behaviour.
Lead author Professor Ivan Rektor, from Masaryk University, Czech Republic, said: ‘Early results show this is also the case in children of survivors, too.’
The findings may lead to descendants being offered therapy to help them cope with the emotional legacy of the genocide, Professor Rektor added.
Further research will identify markers of stress resilience and post-traumatic growth and will determine whether transmission to offspring is based on behavioural, psychological or genetic factors.

Litvak Who Went From Shul to Shul To Tear Up The Sefarim "Yalkut Yoisef" Caught Red Handed

Amongst us frum Jews ... this is nothing knew .... the Rambam's Seforim were burned.... not by the goyim but by "Frum Jews."

The Seforim of the Ramchal were destroyed and he was chased out of town by "Frum" Jews! etc etc ....

And now the Seforim of Harav Yosef Yitzchok ...
ילקוט יוסף

Shuls all over put cameras in to see who was doing it ...
it didn't take long and they found the culprit ...
A Litvak .... .....

Hey forget about the prohibition of destroying seforim containing Torah ...
What about "Gezilah" .... stealing????

So now if you are a Litvak not only do you stop people from getting to work by protesting about nothing .....
Now you are destroying property of others ....

The Litvaks read the words of the Aseres Hadibrois that states:
לא תגנוב
as
לו תגנוב

They are "Talmeidei Chachomin"  and they read the Kree (meaning how it is read) not the Ksiv (how it's written) ...
They read that it's a "Mitzvah to Steal" if I don't agree with what's written in those  Sefarim!

What is the halacha regarding fruits consecrated to the Beis Ha'Mikdash shortly before the Bais Ha'Mikdash got destroyed?

Halacha stipulates that since the Bais Ha'Mikdash was destroyed, nothing could be done with previously consecrated fruits. Such fruit must remain untouched and left to rot, as everyone is forbidden to benefit from the fruit.

Does The Satmar Rebbe Have a "Chelik in Olam Habah?

I am getting a kick out of this .... this is got to be one of the funniest "shaalois" I heard in a long time....

There is a very popular Torah newsletter in Israel that is called
"Oilam Katan" "Small World" ........
On the very front cover they have a series of questions and answers (shaalois Uh"teshuvois) in halacha and hashkafah ....

Someone writes in a question and Harav Shlomo Aviner is usually the one answering ....

For those who don't know, Harav Shlomo Aviner wrote a Sefer many years ago in response to the Satmar Rebbe, R' Yoel Teitelbaum's sefer "Al Hagilah Ve'al Hatmurah ...

The Satmar Rebbe panicked after the 6 day war in 1967 ... afraid that he would be losing his whole anti-Zionist agenda with his own Chassidim, because of the great miracles that happened during the 1967 war, which brought on an unprecedented  wave of Baalei-Tesuvah ... who saw with their very own eyes, miracles.....

And so the Rebbe responded with a little book challenging the hundreds and thousands of eye-witness accounts of these miracles and basically wrote that the "miracles" were acts of the Satan which he called the "Sitra Achra."

As far as the unprecedented mass movement of Baalei Teshuvah, he dismissed it and wrote that "Shabsai Tzvi also produced a mass Baalei Teshuvah movement!"

In response, Rabbi Shlomo Aviner wrote a very scholarly thick Sefer called "Aleh Naaleh" עלה נעלה that totally eviscerated the entire premise of "Al Hagulah Ve'Al Ha"Temurah.," and R' Aviner did it with the greatest respect.
You will not be able to find this book in your local Sefarim Store...I believe Tuvia in Monsey has some copies!

Back to the Newsletter:

Question:
"Does the Admar from Satmar have a Cheilik in Olam Habah Because he has separated himself (with his ideas) from the rest of the Jewish nation?"
Translated Loosely: "Does the Satmar Rebbe have a portion in the World to Come since his ideas are  different from the ideas of the frum world.?"

Answer From Harav Aviner:
"He Absolutely has a Chielik in Olam Habbah ..... and You have to do Tesuvah for even asking such a question!!! "

Very Soon You Will Be Able To be "Oleh Regel" On The Exact Same Steps As They did 2,000 Years Ago

In 2004, a sewage pipe burst in the middle of the neighborhood of Silwan in southeast Jerusalem.

The municipality sent in a crew of construction workers to fix the leak, and as is the case in Jerusalem and especially in neighborhoods adjacent to the Old City, they were accompanied by a team of archeologists.
As the repairs progressed, the construction workers stumbled upon some long and wide stairs a few dozen meters from where the Shiloah – the ancient pool Jewish pilgrims would dip in before beginning the religious ascent to the Temple, until its destruction in 70 CE – was believed to have once stood. The steps were just like the ones that lead to the Hulda Gates, a set of now blocked entrances along the Temple Mount’s Southern Wall.

Discovery of the Shiloah Pool led to another monumental find – the central water drainage channel that had served ancient Jerusalem. This channel is the tunnel that visitors to the City of David – known as Ir David – get to walk through today, starting at the bottom of the Shiloah and emerging about 45 minutes later next to the Western Wall.

As is often the case with archeology, though, the first discovery or two are just the beginning. That is how a few weeks ago I found myself on an exclusive tour of an ancient road dug out beneath the village of Silwan and above the now well-known water channel (also the place where Jewish rebels made a final stand against the Roman invaders).

The ancient street is referred to as “Pilgrimage Road,” since archeologists are convinced that this is the path millions of Jews took three times a year when performing the commandment of aliyah l’regel – going up to the holy city of Jerusalem to bring sacrifices to God during Judaism’s three key holidays, Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot.

AMUKA - A LEGEND FOR People Needing A Shidduch

This Shabbos, 26th of Sivan (June 29) is the 'yahrzeit' (anniversary of death) of Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel. For many Jews, desperate to get married, this is the date they have been waiting for.

At Amuka, ceremonies will be taking place in four shifts, for 24 hours non-stop, at a special Tikkun (all-night Torah study) known as "the 160 Silver Coins Tikkun."

You would need a very large map of Israel to show Amuka. There is no settlement there, no village. But you will be able to find it if you believe in miracles. For Amuka is said to be the source of many miracles, and the reason that Orthodox Jews travel from all across the world to come here.

To reach this spot, you must circumvent the beautiful city of Safed in the Galilee, in the north of Israel, and find the road that leads to Rosh Pina. Then take the opposite direction along a narrow road, twisting and turning through fragrant pine forests.

Arrows thoughtfully provided by believers will lead you towards the mountain summit. There you will come upon a deep valley and see a lonely grave at the bottom. You have found Amuka.

It is the grave of Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel, born in the 1st century BCE, Rabbi Hillel's most outstanding pupil. He translated the prophets into Aramaic, and it is said that a Heavenly Voice was heard demanding to know who it was who had revealed His mysteries to man. Rabbi Jonathan answered that he had done so "not for the sake of personal honor, but in order that disputes shall not multiply in Israel."

And that's not all. It is said that the words of Torah were so sweet on the lips of Rabbi Jonathan, that bands of angels gathered overhead to listen. How this learned man came to occupy a revered place in the minds and hearts of so many Orthodox Jews, so
that his gravesite would be the destination of hundreds of pilgrimages, is a story in itself.

The Ancient City of BEIT SHEMESH

If you stick a spade in the ground anywhere in Israel, there’s a good chance that you will uncover some ancient artifact.

Israel, which in its long history has been overrun by dozens of foreign armies, is a prime place for such discoveries, each group having left behind some relic that has remained buried beneath the sands of time.

But in revealing these ancients relics, the questions arises as to what you are going to do with them. Typically, a cluster of government organizations will descend on the location to decide whether what you have uncovered is worthy of preservation. If it is, then the question arises as to how it is to be preserved. Will it stay in the place where it was found, or be removed to a museum? Alternatively, will it be covered over for good, allowing a modern developer to build over it?

These questions have recently arisen around the ancient city of Beit Shemesh in the center of the country, adjacent to route 38. At the end of 2018, an archaeological dig revealed a large settlement that was apparently used as a center for the production of olive oil. This was a major discovery since the site was dated as flourishing during the late First Temple period, around the eighth to seventh century BCE. This made the site particularly significant in that it is clearly connected to the Biblical period as mentioned in the second Book of Kings.

What was surprising to the archaeologists was that this site went against the perceived assumptions of the period – that after the Assyrian king Sennacherib (2 Kings, Chapters 18 and 19) had plundered much of the kingdom of Judea, destroying many of the fortified cities including Beit Shemesh, the cities were left as ghostly reminders of the vicious Assyrian invasion. The dig in Beit Shemesh clearly shows that this city, at least, was revived, under the aegis of the Assyrian or Babylonian empires and indeed flourished as an important economic center for the kingdom of Judea.

“It’s significant,” explains Dr. Yehuda Govrin, chief archaeologist on the site, “that the development of the area took place lower down, at the foot of the Tel. Any rebuilding of the Tel might have suggested a potential rebellion. But lower down, development was permissible.”

Parshas Shlach ...The Story of the Meraglim Dvar Torah by DIN

by Ha'Admir Me'"DIN"
מאת הקטן "דאס איז נייעת" מק"ק בית שמש
 לפנים אדמ''ר במנסי

In Chutz Le'aarets, all Shuls will be reading Parshas Shlach!
The Torah deliberately put the tragic story of the spies into the Torah so that we, in the here and now, could learn some lessons.

What really was the underlying sin of the meraglim?

There is absolutely no question that this sin was a grave one indeed, pun intended....

We know as the Torah tells us that as a result of this sin, the entire generation, save just a few, died in the desert and didn't have the merit to enter Eretz Yisrael.

And the punishment as a result of this sin didn't die with those who perished in the desert, it continues to haunt us to this very day...

If this were a sin of just a rare incident that would have occurred in the desert with just a very few minor people instigating this ...then the result would have ended right there with no repercussions to future generations and we would have absolutely no lessons to learn from that particular incident.

This tragic story of the spies had certain characteristics that are very similar to the life of every individual in particular and the nation as a whole on a daily basis and because of this fact, every generation has an obligation to review, learn and take notice ....

The spies according to Rashi were כשרים ......they were righteous...
according to the Zohar they were "Tzaddikim"
They were the leaders, the "gedoilim" of that generation ...
The Spies, wern't  regular "Joe Shmos'" ... the guy who is busy going to work and who is struggling to support his family and grabs some time to do the Daf......
Nope it was according to Chazal the "Gedoilim" of that generation...
it wasn't the little guy who runs to the first minyan and has "Amunah Peshutah"
No it was the Talmeidei Chachumim.....the elite... the intellectuals..
they were the ones who brought down the entire Klall!

I'm not saying this to denigrate "Talmedei Chachamim" Chas Ve'Shalom ...I am just quoting Chazal ....
They are pointing this out ... so that the regular folk should see and recognize when they are being taken for a ride down the slippery slope..
What you need to do is see who the "askanim" surrounding the Gadol are and see what information they are feeding them......
The Gedoilim are not reading newspapers ...they are getting the info from those who surround them ...

I will point out one aspect of this transgression in particular.

The Torah states right after the nation heard the report of the spies:

That "the entire nation raised their voices and cried on that very night"

Said Rabbah in the name of R' Yochanan (Taanis 29)
That, that night was Tisha Be'ov
"Hashem proclaimed:
"Since you cried for nothing, I will establish a day for your future generations to cry"

The Midrash states: "that night Hashem issued the edict that the future Bais Hamikdash will be destroyed"

The Meraglim, the spies stood in front of the Jewish people ...
... as Yehosha and Calev separated themselves from them,

10 of them called out in unison, with weakness of spirit, ignoring the Divine command, not giving any thought and understanding of the magnitude of vision and time and proclaimed:
''לא נוכל לעלות אל העם כי חזק הוא ממנו''
"The nation (the Jews) will not be able to overpower (the Canaanites) since they are very strong"

On the opposite end of the spectrum, stood Yehoshua and Calev, with a strong spirit, following the Divine command, giving intense thought to their mission and understood the magnitude  of that vision and stated:
''עלה נעלה וירשנו אתה כי יכול נכל לה''
"YES!!! WE WILL GO UP AND CONQUER, AND WE WILL OVERPOWER THEM"
No ... they didn't hesitate, they wanted this cry of עלה נעלה to capture the moment, realizing that this statement ... would be a lesson for future generations ....

The Jewish people as individuals and as a group were given the choice .....

Do you want to grumble and cry and give up on the vision and  hope and forego the magnitude of the moment?

Or

Are you going to be courages and realize the great lifetime opportunity that will benefit this generation and all future generations?

They instead cried and and decided not to jump at this great choice and opportunity and were instead doomed ...
and the day that could have been a day salvation and happiness, instead..... became a day of weeping for generations!

That choice stands in front of us today as well.....

Are we going to moan and groan and complain about the Zionists like the Meraglim that complained about Canaanites ....
Are we going to use the words of the Meraglim that "Eretz Yisrael is surrounded by enemies?"
Are we going to listen to those leaders that say it is prohibited to learn in Israel?
Are we going to look for aggadatas that discourage us from making Aliyah or are we going to look in the entire Shulchan Aruch and Rambam's Mishna Torah to see if anyone of the Rishonim pasken that way...

or

Are we going to be courages and make that step and say what Calev boldly and fearlessly said:
 עלה נעלה
