LOHUD Turns Tragic Yeshiva Bochur death into political story

Image result for lohud
Lohud, the Rockland "anti-Frum" newspaper in Rockland, turned a tragic car crash into a political story .....

Two Yeshiva boys were talking to each other innocently in the parking lot of the Yeshiva Tiferet Tora 996 Route 202, when an off duty police officer passed another car on a "no passing" zone, lost control and barreled thru the parking lot  smashing into the boys ...

Lohud:
"Both young man were standing on the edge (Din Emphasis) of driveway at 996 Haverstraw Road when a 2016 Lexus driven by Peekskill Police Officer Jonathan Mosquera of Suffern drove up behind a 2008 Honda driven by Tzvi Hakakian, 19, of Monsey"

FACT:
They were not standing at the "edge of the driveway" according to Hatzalah, they were IN the driveway!
not that it makes a difference .... the car barreled into the "driveway"!

Lohud:
"The property had been operating with a temporary certificate of occupancy after opening in violation of town zoning and building codes. A 2015 critical state report on the Building Department operations cites the school for lacking permits and operating in violation of safety regulations.
Yeshivat Tiferet Tora also has been hit with fines by the Rockland Board of Health."
In 2013, the Rockland Board of Health fined Arash and Sara Hakakian and Neal J. Klatzko, owners, 996 Haverstraw Road, $900 for operating a rooming house without a permit and for failure to get proper permits for a sewer system."

Fact:
What does this crash have anything to do with the fact that "the property had been operating with a temporary certificate of occupancy"?
and if the had a permanent C of O ...would the crazy cop not have barreled into the innocent boys??

There is no end to the hatred that Lohud has against the religious community! Take a tragic story and shamelessly turn it into a hate campaign to give fodder to the anti-Semites!

And now a word to to my readers!
The Rosh Yeshiva of this school prohibited the boys from having any phones, be they kosher or otherwise!

The boys in the Yeshivah took at least 10 minutes to find a bystander to phone Hatzalah!

According to a memeber of Hatzalah that I spoke to, "in this case, it would not have made a difference."
So?????
Parents .... insist that your child, 10 and above, carry a phone ..... absolutely!

Tragedy has struck the Monsey, NY, community, as Marco Tawil z”l, a 17-year-old yeshiva bochur, has been killed in an accident on Route 202.

At about 11:45 p.m., two bochurim were standing at the side of the road when a vehicle careened into them.
Marco succumbed to his wounds, while the second bochur, 19-year-old David Maldanado, was seriously injured.
Marco was a resident of Argentina.
The tragic accident took place in front of Yeshivat Tiferet Torah on Haverstraw Road, northwest of the Wesley Hills community, in Suffern, down the road from Spook Rock Road. Both bochurim were talmidim of the yeshiva.
One of the vehicles was turning into the yeshiva driveway, while the other was coming at a high speed in the opposite direction. They collided, and one of the cars jumped the side of the road due to the force of the crash and rolled down an embankment, coming to a rest amidst trees and shrubbery.

Shimen Liebowitz and Aharon Goldberg Satmar Chassidim Charged with Attempted Murder

Preet Bharara, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, William F. Sweeney Jr., the Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Field Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and William J. Bratton, Commissioner of the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”), announced the filing of a federal criminal complaint charging Shimen Liebowitz and Aharon Goldberg with conspiring to kidnap and murder an individual in order to obtain a religious divorce for that individual’s wife.
Goldberg (left) , Liebowitz (Right)
LIEBOWITZ and GOLDBERG were arrested yesterday in Central Valley, New York, while meeting to plan the kidnapping and murder.  They will be presented later today before Magistrate Judge Debra Freeman in federal court in Manhattan.
Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara said:  “The defendants are charged with a chilling plot to kidnap and murder the intended victim.  Over a period of months, the Complaint alleges, they met repeatedly to plan the kidnapping and to pay more than $55,000 to an individual they believed would carry it out.  Thanks to the exemplary work of our partners at the FBI and NYPD, Liebowitz and Goldberg are now in custody FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge William F. Sweeney Jr. said:  “As if the plan to kidnap the victim and force him to divorce his wife in this alleged conspiracy wasn’t bad enough, the plotters allegedly decided halfway through the arrangement to go a step further and add murder to the list of their planned crimes.  Our country protects freedom of religious beliefs and practices, but no one is allowed to plot a kidnapping and murder regardless of their motivation.”
According to the allegations in the Complaint unsealed today in Manhattan federal court:
According to Jewish religious law as observed in certain communities, in order to effect a divorce, a husband must provide his wife with a document known as a “get.”  A woman whose husband will not consent to a divorce is known as an “agunah.”  In the absence of the husband’s issuing a get, an agunah may be released from her marriage only through the husband’s death.
In early July, an individual (the “CS”) contacted the FBI and reported that the CS had been recruited by LIEBOWITZ and GOLDBERG to kidnap a particular individual (the “Intended Victim”) in order to force the Intended Victim to issue a get to his wife.  Like the CS, GOLDBERG and LIEBOWITZ are orthodox Jews.  LIEBOWITZ is a member of the Satmar community in Kiryas Joel, New York (a village in Orange County, New York), and GOLDBERG is an Israel-based rabbi who also maintains a position of prominence in Kiryas Joel.
The CS provided the FBI with information about a conversation he had with LIEBOWITZ and GOLDBERG on or about July 6 or July 7.  During the meeting, which was recorded, the CS feigned interest in participating in the kidnapping.  He, GOLDBERG, and LIEBOWITZ discussed how such a kidnapping might be carried out, including the possibility of luring the Intended Victim to Pennsylvania in order to kidnap him, torture him, and force him to give the get.  The CS, GOLDBERG, and LIEBOWITZ also discussed the possibility of kidnapping the Intended Victim in Ukraine, where the Intended Victim planned to travel in late September to celebrate the Jewish New Year.
GOLDBERG and LIEBOWITZ agreed to advance the CS $25,000 to assist in efforts to plan the kidnapping.  According to the CS, within days of this initial meeting, an envelope containing approximately $25,000 cash was delivered to the CS.
On or about August 9, 2016, the CS met with LIEBOWITZ and GOLDBERG in Kiryas Joel, New York.  During this meeting, the CS, GOLDBERG, and LIEBOWITZ discussed additional details of the kidnapping plan, including logistics and the cost associated with a plan to kidnap the Intended Victim overseas.  This conversation was also recorded.
On August 12, 2016, the CS again met with LIEBOWITZ and GOLDBERG, at which time they provided the CS with an additional payment of over $20,000 for use in making arrangements for the kidnapping.  In this meeting, which was also recorded, the CS, GOLDBERG and LIEBOWITZ further discussed their plan to kidnap the Intended Victim in the United States and to obtain the get from him in this country.
Subsequent to the August 12, 2016, meeting, the CS had additional conversations with GOLDBERG, in which GOLDBERG discussed his desire not merely to kidnap the Intended Victim, but also to kill him.
On August 25, 2016, the CS met LIEBOWITZ in Central Valley, New York.  During the meeting, LIEBOWITZ paid the CS an additional sum of about $12,000 to carry out the kidnapping.  Also during the meeting, the CS spoke by phone with GOLDBERG, who was still in Israel, about the kidnapping plan, which the CS and GOLDBERG referred to in code as a “wedding,” as well as GOLDBERG’s desire that the CS kill the Intended Victim.  This conversation was also recorded.
On or about September 2, 2016, the CS had another recorded conversation with LIEBOWITZ, during which LIEBOWITZ indicated his understanding that the Intended Victim would be murdered as part of the plan.
LIEBOWITZ, 25, of Monroe, New York, and GOLDBERG, 55, of Bnei Brak, Israel, are charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit kidnapping, which carries a maximum potential sentence of life in prison, and one count each of conspiracy to commit murder for hire, which carries a maximum potential sentence of 10 years in prison. The maximum potential sentences in this case are prescribed by Congress and are provided here for informational purposes only, as any sentencing of the defendants will be determined by the judge.

A tour bus in Uman, Ukraine was taken hostage by criminals who demanded money from the organizers of the trip.

Uman

So who do you call, when your are in trouble??????
Ghost busters?????

Guess who bailed them out??????
Shomrim?
Guess again!
Satmar Bikur Choilim?
Naaaa .... one more try...
Ukrainian police?
You mean the Ukrainian anti-Semitic barbarians ????

The Zionists!!!!!! Yup ..... the Zionists !!

A tour bus in Uman, Ukraine was taken hostage by criminals who demanded money from the Ukrainian driver for the trip.

Thinking they had been kidnapped, the tourists called Israeli representatives, who dealt with the matter and worked to direct the bus to the airport.

Towards this purpose, a representative of the of Israel's anti-terror division residing in the Ukraine got involved - as did a division of Israeli police.

The foreign ministry is continuing to check the matter. Officials are saying that the situation involved a "misunderstanding."

From passenger testimonies, it appears that a group of criminals stopped the bus on its way to the airport, demanding money.
They commandeered the bus for several hours - until things were sorted out.
It has been suggested that the tour company itself staged the whole incident

The unwarranted uproar over railway work on Shabbat

In general, Shabbat is officially kept in the State of Israel. The police estimated that closure of the Ayalon Highway on a weekday would endanger lives.
Rabbi Eliezer Melamed
Q: How come last week we heard in the media about representatives of the Haredi community fighting for the honor of Shabbat, which was publicly trampled upon with the construction work done on the Tel Aviv railway, while the representatives of the National Religious community were silent? Is Shabbat not worth fighting for?

A: There is great importance in the State of Israel officially observing Shabbat, and indeed, state-run institutions generally do observe Shabbat. This is something that should not be taken for granted. I have heard from Jews who immigrated from the former Soviet Union, that in their eyes, the State of Israel is considered to be very religious, mainly because all the state-run institutions are closed on Shabbat. They also point out the central role holidays play in public life, and the observance of kashrut in all state-run institutions, the vast majority of stores and restaurants, and almost all hotels.
Nevertheless, the fact that the majority of the Jews do not observe Shabbat according to Jewish law is extremely painful and distressing, and it is a mitzvah for every person to do whatever they can to bring Jews closer to the mitzvoth of Shabbat. To do so, we must clarify the sacred value of Shabbat, and even those people who do keep Shabbat should try harder to observe it in the best and most superb way – through ‘oneg‘ Shabbat, Torah study, prayer, festive meals and rest – and the more successful we are, the more Jews will wish to keep Shabbat.

Apparently, those who touched-off the “war” on Shabbat, believed that by doing so they would strengthen the national status of Shabbat in the country. However, to do so there was no need to initiate personal attacks on the Minister of Transportation and arouse debate between the Haredim and the secular over the national character of Shabbat, because strengthening the status of Shabbat in official government frameworks can also be achieved by means of respectable dialogue.

Charedim look to Trump as a pro-Israel, traditionalist tough guy

Image result for Jew for trump
American Jews are likely to vote for Hillary Clinton in November, but American Jewry’s fastest-growing community is likely to go the other way.
A solid majority of Charedi Orthodox Jews will vote for Donald Trump, say experts and Republican operatives in the Charedi enclave of Borough Park, Brooklyn. While poll data isn’t available on the fervently Orthodox vote, observers say the Charedim are attracted by Trump’s hawkish foreign policy, pugnacious personality and image as a successful businessman.
It doesn’t hurt that he’s a man.

“When you’re fighting a war, you want someone who’s tough, who’s going to be on your side,” said Heshy Friedman, a business consultant in Borough Park who founded the group Jewish Democrats for Trump. “I don’t think he means things literally. You need somebody who borderlines on going crazy.”

The Charedi community in New York City and in the state has supported Democrats in the past. Both Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo have courted the Charedi vote by ensuring social services for the poor and promising not to intrude in communal affairs. Borough Park’s state assemblyman, Dov Hikind, is a conservative Democrat.

Image result for drugs
The granddaughter of the Puppa Rebbe, 22 year old Feige Greenwald, died suddenly today (Tuesday), Kikar Hashabbat reported.

She was the daughter of the Rebbe's son, Rav Pinchas Greenwald, who is the rabbi of the Monsey branch of the Hassidic community.

According to reports, Feigie was hospitalized in the past few days at Maimonides Hospital after suffering poisoning from an overdose of a dangerous drug.

In the last few years, Faigie had left her parental home and acted in a more modern manner than is generally acceptable in the hassidic community. She was active on social media and according to her friends' reports she used dangerous drugs even though they tried to dissuade her.

On the "Kol Puppa" information hotline the broadcaster announced to the Hassidim :
"Our heartbreak is as big as the ocean. Death has come to our halls. Blessed is the true Judge. With great pain, we announce the passing of the descendant of holy and pure people, the granddaughter of the Admor [hassidic Rebbe], the dear important maiden, Faige, daughter of rabbi Pinchas Chaim, Rabbi of our community in Monsey."

Second Bais Hamikdash Floor Tiles Unveiled!

Dr. Gabriel Barkay, co-founder and director of the Temple Mount Sifting Project in presentation of the restored tiles of the Second Temple during Herodian Rule

Archaeologists from the Jerusalem-based Temple Mount Sifting Project unveiled Tuesday a restored floor of painted tiles that experts believe dates to the Herodian era (37 to 4 BCE). Experts believe the floor may have been part of the courtyard of the Second Temple.

“This represents the first time that archeologists have been able to successfully restore an element from the Herodian Second Temple complex,” stated Zachi Dvira, co-founder and director of the Temple Mount Sifting Project.

Frankie Snyder,  a member of the Temple Mount Sifting Project’s team of researchers and an expert in the study of ancient Herodian style flooring, stated that she had used geometric principles, and similarities found in tile design found at other Herod sites to ornate the ornate tile patterns.
“This type of flooring is called ‘opus sectile,’ Latin for ‘cut work.’ It was very expensive and was considered more prestigious than mosaic floors,” said Snyder.  “So far, we have succeeded in restoring seven potential designs of the majestic flooring that decorated the buildings of the Temple Mount, explaining that there was no ‘opus sectile’ in Israel prior to Herodian rule.”
“The tile segments were mostly imported from Rome, Asia Minor, Tunisia and Egypt, were created from polished multicolored stones cut in a variety of geometric shapes. A key characteristic of the Herodian tiles is their size, which corresponds to the Roman foot, of approximately 29.6 cm.” she explained
The Temple Mount Sifting Project was founded in 2004 by archaeologists Dr. Gabriel Barkay and Zachi Dvira under the auspices of Bar-Ilan University, in response to the illegal removal of tons of antiquities-rich earth from the Temple Mount by the Islamic Waqf in 1999.  Since then, volunteer and professional sifters have unearthed thousands of artifacts, including more than 600 colored stone floor tile segments, more than 100 of which have been conclusively dated to the Second Temple period.
The project is conducted under the auspices of Bar-Ilan University and The Israel Nature and Parks Protection Authority,
“It enables us to get an idea of the Temple’s incredible splendor,” said Dr. Barkay.
Barkly told reporters that the style of the tiles is consistent with similar Herodian discoveries in Masada, Jericho and a variety of locations in Italy.
The restored tiles will be presented to the general public on September 8 th , at the 17th Annual City of David Archaeological Conference in Jerusalem

Skverer Threatens Rabbi Naftali Rottenberg because He Opened a Shul 2 Miles from Skver

Andover Place in Monsey, is 2 miles away from the Skverer "No-Jew Zone", but that is not stopping the Skverer askanim from attempting to stop Rabbi Naftali Tvi Rottenberg from opening his "kosyan" Shul!

Last Friday night just before shkiyah, someone hung up a poster in the Skverer Bais Midrash that stated that it would be best  that Rabbi Rottenberg close his Kosyener Bais Midrash because it is within the perimeter of the Skverer "judenrein" mile ban, even though the shul is two miles away ..... it seems Skver expanded their "No-Jew ban to two miles, without telling anyone....
and it seems that Rabbi Rottenberg is a threat to the Skverrer dynasty! Who knew?

The poster was removed immediately after  the "Rabbeinu Tam" Zman, on Motzei Shabbos!
