fter the recent massive hillul Shabbat and hillul hashem perpetrated by Gur hasidut they must now be recognized for what they really are: a gang of common criminals with absolutely no real connection to the Torah that was given to us on Sinai.
Judging by the behavior of his disciples, the “rebbe” that leads this gang should also be recognized as the common boorish mafia boss that he is. We can also safely assume that his Torah knowledge is close to zero. He should be treated accordingly.
The organized crime department of the police should be sent to deal with them.
And above all this grotesque masquerade as “pious Torah scholars” who are practicing “Judaism Ultimate” should be exposed. They should be recognized as the gang of boorish hoodlums that they really are!
On second thought, the poor rank and file followers of this insane cult are not really to blame. They were raised this way and know nothing better.
It is the leaders who are the real criminals.
The so-called “rebbe” and the other leaders of the gur cult should be incarcerated in an institution for the criminally insane.
The rank and file followers should be provided with counseling and a normal education to enable them to function in normal society.
I think this might be the meaning of "geirim garrurim," in the times of gog and magog. When they come to you and tell you that you are a fake jew, and they are the real jews, and they are literally GER, it makes you think....
the gemara says that milchemes gog and magog is like/worse than shalom bayis issues, and those can arise when you have families splitting up
I am reminded of an exchange between Rav Schach zt"l and the Gerrer Rebbe the Lev Simcha (IIRC - perhaps it was at the Agudah Knesia Gedolah in 5740), which went something like this. There was extreme pushing around the Rebbe. Rav Schach, seeing it, exclaimed in shock, chayos!" To which the Rebbe responded, יא זיי זענען חיות, אבער חיות הקודש.
Although this has exploded into the news now, it is not new that there are big issues with that group, whether extreme pushing people around, forcing some to take pills/drugs, etc.
I wouldn't be surprised that there will be a lot of these mobs, will go off the Derech, become totally secular. I hope that Hashemi will not punish klal Yisrael for their acts, at least rest of klal Yisrael.
If it would have been me in that van, I would have just run over those rabies infected rats.
