Boro Park Hatzolah just transported two people to Lutheran Trauma Center after an apparent home invasion at a private home on 50th Street. The incident unfolded just a few minutes ago when Hatzolah was called to the home located on 50th Street near 18th Avenue. According to initial reports, they found two people tied up. One of them is in serious condition. They were reportedly assaulted as well. Detectives from the NYPD’s 66th Precinct are currently on the scene investigating the incident.

Wow .... Why would a guy refuse to give a get? There is no legitimate reason to hold on to someone who refuses to live with you..

They should not have been physically harmed. They should be absolutely, completely ostrasized, to the point that they can't buy kosher meat or walk into a shul.
The answer to your question, "Why would a guy refuse to give a get?" however, is -
they are male, and they think they are entitled to do whatever they want and get away with it. Gee, think maybe that has something to do with why they are divorced?
And their names should be plastered on every street,wall, Internet site with nobody doing any business with them if they are holding back a get for no real reason.
there is a much better solution,a bullet between the eyes,these low life dirty rats who refuse to free their wives with a get,should be made to free them with their deaths
