Birthright to bring 19,000 young adults to Israel this summer

About 14,000 Birthright Israel participants from nearly 900 universities and colleges in North America are expected to land in Israel in the coming months, as part of Birthright’s 2022 Summer season. The flights, which begin on May 1st mark Birthright Israel’s long-awaited return after a series of suspensions since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Birthright expects to bring about 19,000 young adults from North America during this summer.

Birthright Campus Trips are a unique opportunity for North American students to go on a life-changing trip to Israel with their college friends and meet new people from their campus. The trips are usually timed to coincide with the school’s winter or summer breaks.

Colleges with the largest number of Birthright Campus Trip participants include University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (585 students); University of Florida (506 students); and University of Wisconsin – Madison (424 students).

After a long hiatus, we are excited to bring back so many students from North America to these important and exciting tours to Israel. Many of these students are coming from college and university campuses where incidences of anti-Semitism are increasing, leaving them feeling beleaguered and isolated,” said Birthright Israel CEO Gidi Mark. “We know that after going on a Birthright trip, these students feel more confident,“ he added.

Zachary Lech, 20, a Harvard student studying government, will travel to Israel on an upcoming campus trip. Having grown up in a small town, Lech said that he had not experienced being part of “a vibrant Jewish community” before arriving at Harvard. He hopes to further his Jewish involvement through Birthright. “I went on a short trip to Israel when I was 10, but this is my first time really seeing the country. I'm beyond excited to join the amazing people I've met here at Harvard on a trip to Israel to see for myself what Jewish life can really look like, and to explore my culture,” he said.

Michelle Zangari of Rockville Center Doesn't Want Frum Jews in her Neighborhood "Look what happened in the 5 Towns"

Question: Can you imagine if she said that about blacks?

At a recent town meeting in Rockville Center, a village right near the Five Towns, a local resident gets up and asks the board to amend the local laws to prevent Jews from opening Shuls in houses.

The woman describes how she grew up in the Five Towns, and laments how Jews moved in and opened Shuls. She describes in dark tones how the local real estate market jumped as a result, causing many of the non-Jewish residents to grab the opportunity to sell, eventually causing the neighborhood demographics to change.

Finally, she gravely warns the board how like the Five Towns, Rockville Center “can be next.”

Shudders can practically be felt throughout the room as she speaks.

When she finishes, the board says that they have received similar complaints, and will immediately look into what can be done.

Filthy Comments from our own FRUM YIDDEN after the murder of Jews in Israel

I have been accused by some people who comment that I hate frum Jews. Those who know me personally and know what I am busy with a whole day, would laugh and know that this is "sheker."

I write because I want to set the record straight. There needs to be a forum out there where lies and propaganda from the frum media is quickly exposed and corrected.
I do not hate any Jews be they frum or chilonie in fact I love and cherish them . You would be surprised to learn who my best friends are. They are people who totally disagree with me but respect my views.

I established this blog not too long ago because of the new generation that believes the sheker and fabrications by frum media who distort history to fit their agenda. If I could change the mind of even one person, then my mission is worthwhile!

If you can just glance  at the "Google Page Views" on the side bar, you will notice that we are going to be hitting 13 million views very soon. We have an average of 60,000 views a week, so I know I am getting thru, and according to google analytics, 85% of the views are people who return.
I am thankful to all of my readers for following me. I try to make it entertaining as well to keep your interest even on a slow news day.

I am not always correct, many have politely and not so politely disagreed with my views or posts and have set me straight; I am thankful and grateful for that. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong. In fact I want to be proven wrong!

I am pretty much on top of the chareidie news as I read the blogs and the newspapers and I am on their whatsapp groups.
The filth and hate on these groups on a daily basis  and the anti-Zionist lies in Yiddish newspapers is mind boggling. I am not the one writing all this; I am exposing this!

Der Yid, Der Blatt and De Zietung, Satmar weekly newspapers have a combined circulation of about 1/2 million readers. The majority of the readers get their news only from this forum.  Every single article is approved by their rabbinical boards. So when they write and repeat lies about other Jews I will expose them.
I am only one guy but thankfully in Israel, Hebrew blogs such as Bechadrei Chadarim, Kikar Hashabbos are finally exposing this hypocrisy. Too bad that the majority of the Chareidie Oilom are not on the internet, they live in this tiny bubble and are fed lies and filth about their fellow brothers and sisters, causing hate and sinas chinum. It is no wonder that the children of these readers of Chareidie media are going off the derech by the thousands when they finally see they they have been lied to. When Covid hit, the majority of the Chareidie tzibbur in Israel  believed that this was a Zionist plot to stop people from going to shul, they had no idea that the virus effected the entire world.

Chareidim will totally destroy the reputation of Gedoilei Hador if what they say does not fit neatly into their agenda! They will censor sefarim and take out haskamas written by tzaddikim  if they decide that the tzaddik doesn't fit the agenda. Read "Changing the Immutable" by Marc Shapiro. This book has actual photos of Sefarim 'before" and "after" the censers got to it. Read how they systematically destroyed the reputation of Harav Avraham Yitzchok Hakohein Kook z"l, and that is only a very small chapter in the book.
Another  example; Satmar rented over a hundred buses to protest the appearance of Rav Shteinman z"l in Monsey and yelled "yemach Sh'mo" a term reserved for Adolpf Hitler ym"s, when Rav Shteinman arrived and when he left. This was not a "fringe" group this was an organized rally by an accepted  chassiidus I didn't see this in the media, I witnessed this with my very own eyes! Even after his petira they don't let him rest, his Kever is desecrated on a weekly basis.
Do you think I should keep this quiet for the sake of shalom and allow these vile creatures to get away with spilling the blood of a respected Litvishe Gadol? I have no dog in this fight but I cannot remain silent!

It's not enough that they spread these lies in their printed media like Der Yid but they go online to troll and spew their venom on popular Chareidie News Sites such as TheYeshivaWorld and Vos Iz Neias. They go to the comments sections and comment with the most outrageous lies and vile propaganda seen only on anti-Semitic websites, some of their comments are straight out of Nazi propaganda material.

For example they repeat the Nazi lie that the Zionists collaborated with them to help kill European Jewry!   To bolster and support this filthy vile idea they drag Rav Weissmandel's sefer into their putrid cesspool. This outrageous lie is in the doctoral thesis of Abbas, the President of the PLO! He first denies the number 6 million and then writes that the Zionists collaborated with the Nazis.
They repeat the lie that has been proven as fiction time and again that Zionists said that "One Cow in Palestine is worth more than all the Jews in Europe." They don't tell you that amongst the millions murdered, were millions of Zionists as well.
Like the meraglim they warn that "Israel is not safe"

The last two weeks have been very tough for Jews here in Israel, you would think that this filthy vile scum would rest and shut up for a couple of weeks. You would think that after reading that the schvartzas in Williamsburg and Crown Heights are continually beating the crap out of chassidim, he would have enough brains to shut the hell up. You would think that after last night's report about a schvartzer who ran over and stabbed Jews in Lakewood they would zip their filthy sewer traps.  Noooooo! These Eirav Rav gangsters have an agenda and will continue to be a thorn on the side of good decent Yidden!

Read some of the comments that I gleaned from the News Site Vosizneias. This was after VIN reported the Bnei-Brak slaughter!

For just about a century, the Zionist State of Israel (and pre-State) has been the most dangerous place for Jews since soon after the Zionists invaded.

The Zionists had their dirty paws in the Holocaust, too. Read Min haMeitzar and others.

There’s plenty more to say but ask your LOR.

LOL.

The Zionist betrayal of Jews during the Holocaust, when the Zionists claimed to be their protectors, is also in Perfidy, and in many scholarly works.

The Zionists stated openly that one cow in Palestine was worth more than all the Jews of Europe and that they were interested in saving only Zionist material, not the old and infirm whom the Zionists considered “like dust”.

They also said that Zionism is above all else, including saving Jewish lives.

Stop bowing to your Zionist idol.

We, unfortunately, had the distinct misfortune of having the Zionists before WW II, without whom there would not have been the Holocaust that our people underwent during WW II.

That would be the Zionists who had all doors to Jews closed after instigating Hitler with their “boycott in the name of world Jewry” which did nothing other than infuriate that savage Nazi leader.

Staying in Europe was not the issue; it was and is the Zionists.

Too bad that during WW II the Zionists lobbied governments against allowing Jews to go to their country, as the Zionist preference was exactly that: better that the unneeded Jews become ash than be allowed in to another country.

And you know that MOST people who went up to Israel in the 1920’s almost ALL of their grandchildren look and behave like real Goyim no Torah no nothing.

There are Millions of Jews in Israel who became secular living a life as full fledge Goyim thanks to the Zionist ideology.

So your grandfather is probably a lucky person that his grandkids are Torah observant Jews.

3 FrumJews wounded in Lakewood stabbing, ramming attack

An Orthodox Jewish man was stabbed in an apparent antisemitic attack in Lakewood, New Jersey on Friday.

The alleged assailant assaulted a man, stole his car and ran him over with it, stabbed a man in the chest, and finally ran over a third person.

All three victims were Orthodox Jews.

The stabbing victim was hospitalized in critical but stable condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

The attacker has been arrested and charged with three counts of bias intimidation, three counts of attempted murder, carjacking, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

New Jersey Governor. Phil Murphy praised police and law enforcement officials for arresting the attacker.

"Tammy and I pray for the full recovery of all victims," tweeted Murphy. "The safety of our communities, and notably our communities of faith, is not only a paramount concern but among my highest priorities. We will continue to partner with all who share this commitment so no resident ever needs to live in fear."

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) responded to the attack by stating that it "is saddened and outraged by a series of attacks that occurred in Lakewood and Jackson, NJ on Friday, April 8, which culminated in the stabbing of an Orthodox Jewish man, and appreciates law enforcement’s quick apprehension of the suspect.

After a series of attempted carjackings, the suspect is alleged to have carjacked a vehicle and hit one person with the car. He then hit another person and got out of the car to stab the victim, who was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. The suspect was arrested last night and is said to have made antisemitic remarks upon arrest. This incident is being investigated by the Lakewood PD, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, and the FBI."

“We are grateful to federal and local law enforcement for their swift response in apprehending the suspect and bringing charges that include bias intimidation,” said Scott Richman, ADL NY/NJ Regional Director. “I am personally horrified at the cruelty with which the suspect allegedly conducted himself. More needs to be done proactively to prevent violence against the Jewish community, and in particular visibly identifiable Jews in Ocean County and across our region. We recommit ourselves and our organization to working with government, educational institutions, interfaith and intergroup partners and law enforcement in order to achieve this goal. Jews should not be afraid to freely go about their business without living in fear that they will be targeted for violence. The past few years have seen far too many assaults against Jews.”

MK threatens Bennett: Accept these 3 demands or government falls

MK Nir Orbach of the Yamina party has threatened to follow the example of Idit Silman and leave the government if three demands are not met.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to support harming the Jewish character of the State of Israel and the Jewish people,” Silman, the former coalition whip and Yamina MK, said when she caught Prime Minister Naftali Bennett — and the country — by surprise in her unexpected announcement.

The move critically wounded the shaky coalition, which had only 61 MKs in the 120-seat Knesset and is now tied with the opposition. If just one MK follows suit, the government will fall.

On Thursday, Orbach issued his ultimatum, demanding the government backtrack on its plan to cancel daycare subsidies for yeshiva students; the convening of the planning commission to approve building plans for 4,000 new homes in Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria; and connecting Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria to Israel’s electricity grid.

“Without a solution to these issues, I will not be able to remain in the coalition,” Orbach said in a statement.

During a faction meeting held Wednesday, he attacked Bennett for using the phrase “West Bank” last week when referring to the region of Judea and Samaria in conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Although Silman didn’t bring up that point when she defected, many in the right-wing camp, including in Bennett’s right-wing party, were furious, with some expressing hope that the government would fall.

“Such an expression is another deterioration of the government’s values,” said Yigal Dilmoni, director-general of the Yesha Council, an umbrella organization for councils and organizations from Judea and Samaria — which Bennett once headed.

“It is added to the freeze of construction [in Judea and Samaria] and the turning of its back on the Israeli communities. Such a government must go home,” Dilmoni demanded.

Thousands of Arabs join march of support to home of Tel Aviv terrorist

When the name of the terrorist responsible for the deadly Tel Aviv shooting attack became known, along with the location of his residence, public address systems were heard calling out, "Allahu akhbar," playing "nationalist" songs, and announcing support for the terrorist and the "heroic action" which he carried out in "Tel Al-Rabia," the Arab name for Tel Aviv, the Jewish city founded in 1909 on bare stretches of sand dunes near Jaffa.

Terrorist Ra'ad Hazam was eliminated in Jaffa early Friday morning. According to security sources, he did not belong to any terror group.

The announcements on the mosques' public address system were called in the name of the nationalist and Islamic forces, among them the Fatah movement, to which Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas belongs; and the Islamic Jihad and Hamas terror groups.

On one Telegram channel affiliated with Arab terror organizations, terrorist Ra'ad Hazam was called, "the lion of the [Al-Quds] troops," and his name was included in a list of 31 terrorists from the Jenin area "who defended Falastin in the past two years." Also included in the list is Bnei Brak terrorist Dia Hamarsha.

Thousands came from Jenin and the surrounding villages, marching towards the home of the terrorist's family in order to express support.

On social media, they wrote, "Allah's victory is achieved through blood," and "The Al-Aqsa troops promised a response to the crime of murdering its sons in Jenin - and the troops did not neglect their duty."

The terrorist's father came out to the masses who had arrived outside the family's Jenin home and said, "Victory will come soon. In the coming days you will see the change. You will be free and independent. God, free Al-Aqsa mosque from the hands of the occupation."
