Karnei Shomron Schools Had Enough Of Arab Workers and Fires All of Them!

A school in a West Bank settlement recently fired its Israeli Arab cleaning staff after parents threatened to shut down the school if the workers remained employed.
Parents in the settlement of Karnei Shomron appealed last week to the head of the local council, Yigal Lahav, and threatened to shutter the school until all Arab cleaners were removed, the Ynet news site reported.
The threats materialized into a one-day strike, during which 40 children were absent from school.
According to Ynet, one parent wrote in a WhatsApp group: “Unfortunately, Israeli Arabs have justifiably acquired a lack of trust toward them.”
“Yes, we are racists,” another parent wrote. “The lives of our children come first, we are racists and we love the Jewish race.”

Day Yoimie Snippets ... Chullin 75, 76, 77,78,79,80, & 81

"In Honor of Shabbat"
As an introduction we must first explain some basics:

"d'mai" ....... during the Second Temple era, it became apparent to the rabbis, that a significant minority of amei ratzim (basically observant Jews, but ignorant) had become lax in the separation of various required tithes...and we suspect them of lying ...
Accordingly, the rabbis decreed that the produce of an am haaretz be considered דמאי "d'mai" meaning literally "What is this?" In other words, we question if this produce had been tithed? Since we don't know for certain, one may not it eat unless one tithes it.

The Talmud on this daf states that one may not eat produce bought from an am haaretz during the week until you tithe...

The Tannah Rebi Shimon Shezuri, argues and states:
"That one may ask this am haaretz, whether he separated the required tithes, and if he says that he did, one can take him at his word and eat the produce."

On Shabbat, however, even the rabbis agree that one can take the am haaretz on his word and eat the produce if the am haaretz say that he tithed .....
Why?
Because of "Shabbat" ... and on the Shabbat, even an am haaretz wouldn't lie!
Something to think about!

The Greatest Scandal in the History of America Remains Hidden

Andrew McCabe is a national disgrace. He was part of the most corrupt and most partisan leadership team in FBI history and was fired for being dishonest under oath.
And yet, America owes him a big thank-you.
McCabe, you see, has reminded us once again that there really is a powerful deep state, and that there has not been a full accounting of rampant FBI misconduct during the presidential campaign of 2016.
There is also still too much we don’t know about the role top aides to then-President Barack Obama and higher-ups in the Justice Department played in spying on the Trump campaign and leaks of classified information for partisan purposes.
In short, what is arguably the greatest scandal in the history of America remains mostly hidden from the public. That shroud of secrecy piles one scandal on top of another.

Liberal Politicians Scammed NYC out of Amazon’s HQ2 and Ruined it for Everyone

On Valentine’s Day, Amazon broke hearts all over New York City, dumping us like a boyfriend with cold feet. The loss is incalculable.
Gone, apparently for good, is the promise of not only more than 25,000 new highly skilled and well-paying jobs, at least a chunk of them for women and minorities, but all the goodies that go along with them.
With the withdrawal from its proposed campus in Long Island City, the company has snatched away potentially tens of billions in tax revenue, soaring interest in local real estate, plus new stores, restaurants and guaranteed employment for everyone from babysitters to dog-walkers.
Nice going.
It’s official. New York is not only freakishly hostile to business, but suspicious to a suicidal degree of billionaires who own things, the very people who bring employment to our midst. With their “Take these jobs and shove it” attitude, New York’s sanctimonious, progressive politicians and assorted naysayers should be proud of themselves.
But what about the rest of us?

Democratic City Council member Jimmy Van Bramer took part in an unseemly “victory press conference” Thursday, one with little support from ordinary Joes and Janes who badly wanted to work for the company, only to see their hopes demolished.
Newbie US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, self-described democratic socialist, reacted to the exit news not with somber reflection or the announcement of new jobs-creating initiatives — but with an insulting Twitter celebration.
Anything is possible: today was the day a group of dedicated, everyday New Yorkers & their neighbors defeated Amazon’s corporate greed, its worker exploitation, and the power of the richest man in the world,” she tweeted.
She failed to explain how she intends to pay for her signature initiatives, a basket of gifts, including free health care, free college, and the total elimination of carbon emissions, as contained in her Green New Deal — a draft proposal of which bemoaned the likely inability to rid the nation quickly of airplanes and “farting cows.”
Long Island City’s Democratic state Sen. Mike Gianaris, the deputy majority leader — a former Amazon enthusiast — has taken to endlessly deriding the company with the Twitter hashtag “#Scamazon.” He joined anti-Amazon activists at a ridiculous rally in Queens Saturday, where he said, “We’ve learned over the last year that Amazon is not a responsible company. They want to take $3 billion from us. We’re trying to stop it.”
Well, he did. Thanks a lot.
Every politician who expended oxygen or computer keystrokes to run out what would have been a gigantic boon to the city is guilty of “political malpractice,” as Gov. Andrew Cuomo said about Gianaris.
Every one of these bozos should pay for this incredible loss with their jobs, come Election Day. Or sooner.
As recent polls demonstrate, a majority of New Yorkers were all in for Amazon. We know better than these out-of-touch politicos what’s good for us. No professional activist will feed our families.
While Amazon’s kiss-off of the city may well serve us right, I am not alone in bemoaning this development. Not only have we been stripped of a great opportunity for real employment growth and related monetary benefits, the fleeing of Amazon will reverberate for years to come.
The officers of other corporations considering setting up shop in the city will realize they’d rather stick pins in their eyes than tangle with New York’s loathsome political class.
Most any municipality in the nation would eagerly grab the $27.5 billion tax windfall to be paid over 25 years, for the cost of just shy of $3 billion in taxes and subsidies over the same period. These are the numbers touted by Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio, who fought for this deal, and they’ve not been debunked.
As the company fades away, shame should fall squarely on the shoulders of all the people responsible, most of whom have never even met their constituents. The entire city will live to regret their boneheaded moves.

United Throws Off Elderly Rosh Yeshivah & His Rebbitzen Because She Wanted Some Reading Material From Overhead Bin!

A Rosh Yeshivah and his wife were forcibly removed from a United Airlines flight in what they claim was a completely baseless and unsubstantiated accusation by a crew manager.

The couple, who are in their mid-70s, boarded a flight at Newark Airport headed to Amsterdam, from which they had planned to continue to Eretz Yisrael for the wedding of a grandson. Upon entering the cabin, the Rebbetzin approached the cabin manager, known as a “purser,” to ask if she could store her sheitel box in an onboard closet, as she had done on many other flights. The request was denied by the purser, whose first name was “Juan.” He replied that there was no room and that the item had to be placed in the overhead bin.

About 20 minutes before the scheduled takeoff time, the purser approached the Rebbetzin and asked that she stow away a different carry-on item in the overhead compartment. When she asked for a moment to remove a few pieces of reading material, the purser abruptly said, “I’m going to get you off this flight.”

The couple were shaken, but did not take the threat seriously, and spoke with a different crew manager who was very apologetic for the purser’s behavior and who dealt politely with the couple.

However, it seems that, as they were speaking, the purser went to the captain and requested that he call the police to remove the couple from the plane. Moments later, several police officers appeared together with Juan, who said that the Rebbetzin had been “nasty,” and that they would have to leave the plane, as he was concerned she would be disruptive during the flight.

If, indeed, the captain is the one who called the authorities, which is the usual protocol, the couple said that he did so without surveying the scene himself or leaving the cockpit.

The Rosh Yeshivah, who has been a marbitz Torah in the New York area for most of his life, told Hamodia that the surrounding passengers were “shocked” by the scene, but none uttered a word about the unfolding situation. The couple were the only visibly Orthodox passengers on the plane.

Left with no choice, the couple left the aircraft. Upon registering their complaint to United Airlines staff, they were told that the airline would release neither the name of the pilot nor the last name of the purser. They were offered various options for rebooking, but as they were not comfortable landing on a Friday, they opted to fly Motzoei Shabbos and miss the aufruf they had planned to attend.

The Rosh Yeshivah attested that while his wife had indeed asked for another moment to remove magazines from her bag to read during the flight, she had not in the least been “nasty,” as the purser claimed. He was convinced that the treatment they received was motivated by anti-Semitism.

Incidents of seemingly discriminatory treatment of Orthodox Jews on airlines have become increasingly common over the past year.

A spokeswoman for United Airlines told Hamodia that the couple had not complied with “several requests … to stow their belongings in the overhead bin,” and that as a result “we notified our customer service staff and escorted them off the aircraft.”

“United does not tolerate discrimination, and we are continuing to review what happened with the Newark team,” added the spokeswoman.

The Rosh Yeshivah said that he intends to pursue a lawsuit against the airline.

“I think I am within my rights to say that this was an open case of anti-Semitism and the arrogance of a manager who needed to show that no one would tell him what to do,” he said. “I guess Hakadosh Baruch Hu didn’t want us to make it to the aufruf, but what United did is not something that can go without a response.”

ISRAELI DOGS THAT CAN DETECT CANCER

Somewhere in Southern Israel, a first-of-its-kind venture trains dogs to locate early signs of cancer.

The name of the laboratory is "Dog Prognose". It allows a person to send a saliva sample (in a small plastic container), and receive an immediate answer as to whether they have cancer. The cost of the test is NIS 399, just a little over $100.

Uri Bakeman, professional dog trainer and owner of the laboratory, told Army Radio that "the most important issue is that this test detects the disease at its earliest stage, since the dogs can identify the characteristic signs of the smell of the disease. If the dog sits down after sniffing the sample, it means it is suspicious."
In a recent study conducted by Prof. Pesach Schwartzman of Ben-Gurion University, it was determined that various types of cancer share an odor that dogs are capable of identifying.

A famous case involved Daisy, a dog who managed to correctly identify 500 cases of cancer, and smell a total of 6,500 samples. Daisy, who worked for "Medical Detection Dogs"- a foundation in the UK - passed away last year.
Daisy was a pioneer in sniffing out cancer cells in breath and urine samples, and even detected her owner's breast cancer in its early stages.

LITZMAN UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR USING POWERS TO PREVENT EXTRADITION of ACCUSED SEXUAL PERVERT LEIFER!

Deputy Minister of Health MK Ya'acov Litzman was questioned Thursday at the National Fraud Investigation Unit in Lahav on suspicion of committing offenses of integrity, following a covert investigation that began several months ago.
The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office and with the approval of the Attorney General.

Litzman is suspected of obstructing legal proceedings by working to obtain false papers in order to prevent the extradition of Malka Leifer, an ultra-Orthodox pedophile who was arrested in Israel in February 2018. Victorian police fought to bring Leifer back to Australia to face 74 charges of child sexual abuse.

According to reports, Litzman tried to obtain medical opinions that would prevent her extradition.

His office said that he was "summoned to the police today for an affair related to a public request for help, and he gave his full testimony and answered all the questions as required.”

Benny Ganz Names Chareidie Female Lawyer Omer Yankelevichto His List For The Knesset

Attorney Omer Yankelevich, married, the mother of five, belongs to the Anglo-Saxon Charedi community in Beit Shemesh, and was named Omer because she was born on Lag Be'Omer!

Omer is a graduate of the Wolf Seminary in Bnei Brak and Gateshead, England.
After her marriage, she studied teaching and educational activities, and later went on to study law. She holds a master's degree in law as an outstanding dean, and has been practicing law since 2007.

It was Benny Gantz, who made the decision "out of a desire to compile a list containing the mosaic of Israeli society."
Although it is doubtful whether the move will bring ultra-Orthodox voters to Israel's strength. Ganz will try to prove in his integration that his list is not left but center-right, suitable for both Frum and Not-Frum alike.

Her friends tell of a courageous, valiant and exceptionally talented woman who is proud of her views and faith: "She sees herself as subject to the Torah, and has received the approval and blessing of rabbis."

"She will do a lot of Kiddush Hashem in the Knesset and respect the Charedi public,"
"She has rare abilities to act and connect, and this is not a woman who will confront and criticize the ultra-Orthodox public, but on the contrary, she will bring connections, benefit and serve as a bridge for cooperation.

Shomrim Guy Beaten in London

A volunteer in the ultra-Orthodox guard organization was beaten in the face while handling a complaint about vandalism in a neighborhood that had its cars vandalized, in Stamford Hill.

An Avrech, a resident of the neighborhood who volunteered in the local  Shomrim Stamford Hill, was involved in the volunteer work at 20:30 (London time). He handled a complaint filed with the organization's headquarters about vandalism against cars in the neighborhood.
Suddenly, apparently in connection with his volunteerism, he was violently attacked and beaten by an unknown person who punched him in the eye.
As a result, he had to be hospitalized because of the injuries he suffered in the face.
Another volunteer in the organization said of the attacker: "He came out of nowhere, hit the volunteer in the eye and fled to the park, the first attack by a volunteer in the organization since its establishment in 2008."
Eyewitnesses were called to give their testimony to the police, so far no arrests had been made.
It is not known if the possibility of anti-Semitism is being investigated.

Lakewood Roshei Yeshiva Issue Letter Condemning the Shomrim Playing Cards That Encourage Children To Be Chutzpadik to Their Parents Who Have Internet!

Shomrim the "bully" Askanim issued playing cards to children, a method in raising funds.
The cards have warnings against the internet and some cards actually encourage little children to be chutzpadik to their parents if they find them on the internet.

Shomrim writes that the have the "consent and encouragement" of Gedoilei Hatorah .....they don't write who those "Gedoilei HaTorah are ...

Now, the Lakewood Roshei Yesivah sent a letter which basically said that they do not agree with those "chutzpadike encouraging" cards and that they are against Shomrim's methods ...

Shomrim are basically a bunch of hoodlums.. "wanta be cops" with a bunch of keys, two-way radios..with cars that have lights and sirens....

So far they have not stopped any of the violence perpetrated against Jews in New York ....

Shomrim wanting to show off their "strength" arrived in Pittsburg after the fact ... when a Nazi Sympathizer murdered the most Jews in one spot since the Holocaust ......
Shomrim were there to hand out cookies that had a hechsher!!

Democrats Refuse To Stop Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar From Abusing the Jewish Elliott Abrams,

During a testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday, Anti-semitic Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar grilled the Jewish Trump administration official Elliott Abrams, accusing the diplomat of being a liar and pressing him on his involvement in the 1980s Iran-Contra affair and killings in Central America during the Reagan administration – WITHOUT ALLOWING HIM TO RESPOND.
“I don’t understand why members of this committee or the American people should find any testimony that you give today to be truthful,” she said.
This was a part of the exchange: Omar: “Yes or no, do you think that massacre was a fabulous achievement that happened under our watch?”
Abrams: “That is a ridiculous question”
Omar: “Yes or no?”
Abrams: “No!”
Omar: “I will take that as a ‘yes’”

Toronto Woman Arrested After Video Shows Her Throwing Chairs Off 45 Story Skyscraper

A 19-year-old woman turned herself into police on Wednesday to face charges of allegedly throwing two chairs off a 45th story balcony along a busy downtown Toronto street. The incident shown in an online video has sparked widespread outrage.
Det. Todd Higo said Marcella Zoia turned herself and would appear in court later Wednesday. A widely viewed video shot from the apartment balcony shows a woman throwing one of the chairs, which plummets to the street below.
After receiving tips from the public, police identified her and asked her to turn herself in.
Zoia is charged with mischief endangering life, mischief endangering property and common nuisance.
The chairs landed near the front entrance of the towering condo, but there were no reports of injuries.
Constable David Hopkinson said the apartment was being used as a short-term rental.
“I just hope that people take from the example the consequences that will befall this woman. This is irresponsible behavior that is unacceptable,” Toronto Mayor John Tory said.
“It was not just a lark gone bad. It was grossly irresponsible behavior that could have caused serious injury and death.”
