Columbia prof Shai Davidai banned from campus for ‘harassing’ school officials over anti-Israel protesters

Outspoken Columbia business professor Shai Davidai was banned from campus after he clashed with rowdy anti-Israel protesters and confronted school officials last week during the one-year anniversary of Hamas’ deadly Oct. 7 attack on the Jewish state.

The Ivy League school sent Davidai’s lawyer a letter stating that the professor’s access to school grounds was cut off as of 3 p.m. Tuesday because Columbia leaders claimed he harassed at least five faculty members during the raucous scene, violating school rules.

“Threats of intimidation, harassment or other threatening behavior by University employees, including faculty members, will not be tolerated,” the school said in the letter that Davidai provided to The Post.

The Israeli native, who is conducting research and not teaching this semester, is not suspended and can return to campus after he completes workplace conduct training and complies with school policy, Columbia said in its letter.

He can still advise students remotely, the school stated.

University officials cited videos taken by Davidai and posted on social media that showed him challenging school leaders to rein in raucous anti-Israel demonstrators to no avail as he came face-to-face with some keffiyeh-clad students.

In one video, he and Patrick Oakley, a top school public safety official, went back and forth with Davidai appearing to pick up Oakley’s ID badge around his neck to get a better look of it.

“They blocked my movement and you’re not doing anything,” Davidai said of the protesters, with Oakley insisting, “No, you’re walking into them.”

You’re not keeping Jews safe,” Davidai shot back.

Davidai, who’s taught at Columbia for five years, told The Post Tuesday night the school’s action is “nothing but retaliation.”

“It broke me,” he admitted. “It shows how Columbia is run by petty individuals.”

He said claims that he harassed or intimidated school officials are “crazy,” while arguing the Ivy League school hasn’t leveled the same discipline against anti-Israel students and faculty that espouse violence against the Jewish state.

“It’s hypocrisy to the nth degree,” he said.

“There are professors who either participated in or taught in the encampment,” he said. “Not a single professor has been fired or suspended since October 7 for antisemitism and support of terrorism.”

That includes controversial professor Joseph Massad, who called the Oct. 7 massacre “awesome” the following day.

“He’s never been suspended from anything,” said Davidai.

Davidai also blasted the school on a social media video, directing most of his ire toward Columbia’s Chief Operating Officer Cas Holloway, who he said could “go f—k himself.”

He said he was supposed to be on campus on Tuesday for an Oct. 7 memorial organized by Jewish students before his lawyer informed him of the school’s ban.

“It is shocking that after everything that has happened, including the resignation of its president, the Columbia University leadership continues to silence and penalize its Jewish and Israeli community members while protecting pro-terror groups,” Davidai’s attorney Mark Lerner told The Post.

The school has faced much upheaval over the last year, including anti-Israel protesters that occupied a school building and set up an encampment on the campus green.

Former president Minouche Shafik suddenly stepped down over the summer.

Davidai has admittedly been an outspoken staffer, criticizing the school for not doing more to protect Jewish students during anti-Israel demonstrations.

“I am feeling broken,” he said Tuesday, but stressed, “I’m not stopping the fight – because it’s not about me.”

“I’m not a provocateur. My goal is not to provoke or get a reaction – it’s to get change going,” he added.

Biden’s betrayal of Israel is clear weakness masquerading as policy

Israelis are fighting for their lives on several fronts, so naturally President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris decide it’s a good time to tie their hands and publicly threaten them.

Whose side are they on?

Sadly, it doesn’t seem to be Israel’s.

Nor is it America’s when they insist Israel go easy on terrorists who aim to destroy America after they destroy Israel.

Even to call the White House approach a policy is overly generous.

It’s more of a gut reaction born of weakness that sees any expression of American or Israeli power as dangerous.

Thus their instinct is always to call for a peaceful status quo, even when it is temporary and rewards the enemy.

Afghanistan offers an example of the disastrous consequences of cutting and running.

The defeatist pattern over Israel’s war began early this year as a way to appease Muslim-American voters and antisemitic college students who wanted to feed Israel to the wolves and were angry Democrats didn’t comply.

Election-year strategy

As the nominee, a nervous Biden reacted by turning the screws on Israel, and later had Secretary of State Tony Blinken, who has zero military experience, dictate which targets in Gaza Israel could strike.

Now, as the election draws close and Harris is the nervous nominee, the White House is tightening the screws again.

This time, it’s taking a multifront approach, with Washington simultaneously demanding our ally show restraint in Lebanon and Iran, and allow increased amounts of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

In other words, Israel should raise the white flag until the American election is over.

If it doesn’t, the US threatens to join France and others in imposing an arms embargo on the beleaguered Jewish state.

The urge to protect Israel’s enemies is doubly bizarre when they also happen to be America’s enemies.

Yet that is the impact of the positions America is taking and the demands it’s making.

Notice that Biden and Harris are not making a single demand of any other party, and no one else faces ultimatums.

Israel alone is being held responsible for the care and feeding of Gaza’s civilians even though Hamas uses them as human shields.

Why aren’t Jordan and Egypt pushed to help care for their fellow Arabs?

And in what previous war was the country that had been attacked required to risk the lives of its military to care for the enemy’s civilians?

Hamas could end the war in Gaza immediately.

Yet there are no White House demands for the terror group’s leaders to come out of their tunnels, surrender and release all the hostages, including the Americans still being held.

Similarly, there is no demand that Hezbollah stop firing into Israel.

Instead, Lebanon’s prime minister said he has “received American guarantees” that Israeli strikes in Beirut, Hezbollah’s stronghold, will be reduced, according to Al Jazeera.

Neither the Arab outlet nor Israeli media say who made the guarantee, but suspicion falls on Blinken, the errand boy who has led the charge against Israel all along.

Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin even wrote a Sunday letter threatening to withhold arms shipments if Israel doesn’t increase the humanitarian aid to Gaza within 30 days.

Biden/Harris Economic Policies in Action: Walgreens To Close 1,200 Stores As US Pharmacies Struggle To Define A New Role

Walgreens is planning to close around 1,200 locations, as the drugstore chain and its rivals struggle to define their role for U.S. shoppers who no longer look to them first for convenience.

Drugstores that once snapped up prime retail space in towns and cities across the country are in retreat. They’ve been battered by shrinking prescription reimbursement, persistent theft, rising costs and consumers who have strayed to online retailers or competitors with better prices.

The boost they received from taking the lead on vaccinations during the COVID-19 pandemic has long since faded.

Walgreens’ announcement Tuesday morning comes as rival CVS Health wraps up a three-year plan to close 900 stores and Rite Aid emerges from bankruptcy, whittled down to about 1,300 locations.

As the companies retract, they raise concerns in many communities about access to health care and prescriptions.

Drugstore leaders and analysts who follow the industry say smaller versions of these chains have a future in U.S. retail, but they’re still trying to understand how that will play out.

“They’ve really got to rethink how they do business and, most importantly, what they mean and what value they bring to the customer,” said Neil Saunders, managing director of consulting and data analysis firm GlobalData.

Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc., which runs about 8,500 stores in the U.S., said in late June that it was finalizing a turnaround plan in the U.S. that might lead to hundreds of store closings.

The company said Tuesday that it will start by closing about 500 stores in its current fiscal year, which started last month.

Walgreens didn’t say where the store closings would take place. It will prioritize poor-performing stores where the property is owned by the company, or where leases are expiring.

CEO Tim Wentworth told analysts Tuesday that the majority of its stores, or about 6,000, are profitable and provide the company with a foundation to build on.

“This solid base supports our conviction in a retail pharmacy led model that is relevant to our consumers, and we intend to invest in these stores over the next several years,” said Wentworth, who became CEO nearly a year ago.

Wentworth said the remaining Walgreens stores will help the company respond more quickly to shifting consumer behavior and buying patterns. The company also is taking another look at what it sells in its stores and planning to offer more Walgreens-branded products.

Walgreens also is experimenting with some smaller stores that would be less expensive to operate.

Satmar Official Airline the Luftwaffa fined $4 Million for Treatment of Orthodox Jewish Passengers on a 2022 Flight

The United States fined German airline Lufthansa $4 million for its treatment of a group of Jewish passengers who were denied boarding a 2022 flight in Frankfurt after they had flown to Germany from New York.

The U.S. Transportation Department said Tuesday that the fine is the largest the agency has issued against an airline for civil-rights violations, although Lufthansa was given credit for $2 million for compensation it gave the passengers, cutting the fine in half.

The department said most of the 128 passengers who were denied boarding “wore distinctive garb typically worn by Orthodox Jewish men.” Although many did not know each other and were not traveling together, they told investigators that Lufthansa treated them as if they were a group and denied boarding to all over alleged misbehavior by a few passengers.

They were among 131 passengers who were flying from New York through Frankfurt to Budapest to attend an annual memorial event to honor an Orthodox rabbi.

Some said flight attendants told them on the first flight about the requirement to wear a face mask and not to gather in aisles or near emergency exits. The Lufthansa crew members did not identify any passengers who failed to obey their instructions, which the airline said was due to the sheer number of violations and because many traded seats during the flight.

The captain alerted Lufthansa security about misbehavior among the passengers, which set in motion the steps that led to their being denied boarding on the connecting flight, according to a consent order in the case.

Lufthansa rejected “any allegation by the Department that the events in this matter resulted from any form of discrimination” and disputes that any employee acted on bias, but it acknowledged “errors in company procedure and communications.”

Lufthansa reached a settlement with most of the passengers in 2022.

Frieda Vizel Ex-Satmar Yente Wants to start a YouTube channel to Explain the "Frum Anti-Zionist View!" to Goyim!

אבינו מלכנו סתם פיות משטינינו ומקטריגינו

On May 23 of this year I posted an article about the ex-Satmar Yente, Frieda Vizel. It’s ( כדי) worth your while, to read it!

In that article, I commented that this Satmar-Katchke, though she left the community is still an anti-Zionist!

The Satmar Rebbe z”l managed to instill such hate against the only Jewish State in the world, that even if one leaves this cult they cannot isolate their hate against Zionists, and though she is an admitted “Mechallel Shabbos” she cannot take “anti-Zionism” out of her system. In fact she wrote on her blog that OTDs are anti-Zionists since “Israel commits atrocities against Arabs!”

It’s been 45 years since the passing of the Satmar Rebbe, and the Zionist State of Israel has become the home of the majority of the Jewish people. There are now 7.5 million b"leh living in Israel. There are more Torah institutions in Israel than anywhere in the entire world! More Torah is being leaned in the Zionist State than at any time in Jewish history! Though the Satmar Rebbe z”l issued a “fatwa” against Hebrew and prohibited speaking the language, he referred to it as "tumei". Millions of Jews speak the language and the majority of them cannot speak any other language. In fact, even the virulent anti-Zionist Chassidim in Israel speak Hebrew! You cannot possibly live in Israel and communicate with anyone unless you speak Hebrew! You cannot possibly do business with the banks if you don't speak Hebrew. Shiurim in the finest Yeshivois are given in Hebrew!

Frieda Vizel’s Blog and Utube channel cater to Goyim, the video that I posted on my May 23 post had 14,000 views and 1.2 thousand likes. In it she states that is totally dumbfounded that Goyim hate Jews and equate all Jews to Zionist Jews! She couldn’t understand why she got hate mail on a binary video like Kosher Phones!

Well, it’s four months later, and she is still amazed that goyim hate her guts and wish her ill!

In the video (link below) on the 26:59 mark she is “surprised” that even though her videos are primarily about Jews that hate and loathe Israel, the Goyim making comments are not distinguishing between those frum Jews that hate Israel and those who love Israel!

I sincerely believe that she is a very kind and gentle soul, and doesn’t have a bad bone in her body; but having said that,  this is what makes her so dangerous!

Thousands of her Goyishe followers have the highest respect for her and she now wants to take advantage of that respect to make sure they understand the differences among the Jews!

In her video she lumps all "innocent victims" together,  she G-d forbid, would not express feeling bad for "Jewish Victims" she must lump women raped and mutilated with Arab "victims" who overwhelmingly elected a terrorist government, and launched over 100,000 missiles on Israel without one Jew living in Gaza in 20 years! She feels for all "victims" equally! How absurd!

 How sick! How twisted!

She now wants to explain to her followers (30:03 mark) that not all Jews love Israel, that there are Religious Jews who believe that Zionism is the cause of the Holocaust and that the Zionist State should not exist!  She now wants to “separate” Jews and make clear to the Goyim “that we have nothing with Israel.” She wants through “hasbara,” to clearly mark a line of demarcation between those who are Zionists and those who are not! She naively thinks that the Goyim will through her UTube channels understand the difference!

She cannot get through her thick skull that Goyim hate all Jews! Period!

99.9% of all secular media and many Frum Media, expound the anti-Zionist View, Frieda believes that that is not enough, she has to put another UTube channel to make sure the Goyim get it!

UPDATE: I Understand that she took the video off but you can still watch it at this link:

The video garnered 14,000 views she is no small fry she has 70.1 thousand subscribers, and she has already made 246 videos!

First Time in Two Decades a Sukkah Stands in Gaza ...IDF Distributes Arba Minim to All Soldiers on the Front!

*First Time in Two Decades a Sukkah Stands in Gaza*

Israeli soldiers stationed in the Gaza Strip have built a sukkah for the first time in 20 years.

Positioned in the Netzarim Corridor, the sukkah represents a blend of religious observance and military readiness during the Sukkot holiday, as the IDF has distributed religious items, including the “Four Species,” to soldiers across the country.

Iran’s Oil Revenue Skyrockets to $41B Under Biden

Iran’s oil revenue surged to $41 billion in 2023 under President Biden, compared to $8 billion in 2020 under Trump.

Despite increased exports, Iran missed its budgeted targets due to sanctions evasion costs, selling oil at discounts to countries like China, and providing oil for free to Syria.

Spanish Researcher Proves: Christopher Columbus Was Of Sephardic Jewish Descent

I've been amazed at the woke guys who want "Open Borders" but hate Columbus!
If you believe in "Open Borders" then what's wrong with the White Guys coming into America? Isn't that "Open Borders?" So "Open Borders" is only for minorities?

Christopher Columbus, the 15th-century explorer who discovered the Americas, was of Sephardic Jewish descent, Spanish scientists announced Saturday. Employing cutting-edge DNA analysis, researchers have finally put to rest the enigma surrounding the origins of the man who spearheaded Spanish-funded expeditions from 1490 onward, ultimately leading to European exploration of the Americas.

Columbus’ origins have been a subject of debate for centuries. The prevailing view has been that he hailed from Genoa and that his heritage was Italian. However, other theories have been suggested, including that Columbus was Greek, British, or even a Spanish Jew.

The finding that Columbus was Jewish came as a result of a 22-year-long investigation led by forensic expert Miguel Lorente that confirmed another prevailing theory, that Spain’s Seville Cathedral is Columbus’ final resting place.

The findings were announced in a new documentary, “Columbus DNA: The True Origin,” that was aired on Spain’s national broadcaster TVE on Saturday.

Lorente examined microscopic samples from remains interred in Seville Cathedral, long designated as Columbus’s final resting place despite competing claims. These samples were compared to those of known relatives and descendants, with findings unveiled in a documentary aired on Spain’s national channel TVE.

“We have Christopher Columbus’s DNA, albeit fragmentary, but sufficient for our purposes. We also have the DNA of Hernando Colón, his son,” Lorente explained. “Both the Y chromosome (male0 and the mitochondrial DNA (transmitted by the mother) of Hernando exhibit characteristics consistent with Jewish ancestry.”

In 1492, Columbus, attempting to reach India by sailing west over the Atlantic Ocean, led a Spanish expedition that discovered the island of San Salvador Bahamas on October 12 of that year, the first recorded European contact with any landmass in the Western hemisphere. He also made the first contact with the native inhabitants of the Americas, who he called “Indians” due to his misconception that he had arrived in India. He died in 1506 never accepting that he had found a new continent (which in fact was not named after him but after Amerigo Vespussi, who led exploratory voyages to the American coast and claimed that it was actually a separate continent which he named “The New World”)

Ironically, given what has been discovered about Columbus’ Jewish heritage, 1492 was also the year that the Spanish monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella expelled their country’s Jewish inhabitants who would not convert to Catholicism, ending about fifteen centuries of Jewish life in Spain. Columbus identified as a Christian and wrote of his interest in converting the natives he found during his voyages to Christianity.

Columbus’ expeditions to the Americas would lead to further European expeditions to what became known as the “new world,” including eventual settlement and colonization of North and South America.

Patient Refuses Treatment from Jewish Medics…But the Stupid Jews Try to Accommodate his Request

Random Photo Not associated with incident

The craziest part is that he is far worse than Sinwar who was operated by Jewish doctors!

A traveler, presumably non-Jewish, suffered a car crash and required medical attention. A local government-run ambulance service was called to the scene. As is often the case in the heavily Jewish Rockland area, the responders were Jewish, although the service they work for is not.

The patient refused to be treated by Jewish EMT’s, and apparently preferred to suffer than be assisted.

Audio below:

Amazingly, the responders, presumably Jewish, called the dispatcher to try to accommodate the patient’s antisemitic request.

Boro-Park's Ambassador to Turkey Ezra Friedlander helps Brad Lander buy 4 Minim

In anticipation of Sukkos, City Comptroller Brad Lander, considered a front-runner for New York City mayor should Mayor Eric Adams step aside, on Monday visited Borough Park to shop for a Lulav and Esrog.

Joined by Ezra Friedlander and local community leaders, Lander’s tour began at the Satmar Meat store on 13th Avenue and 44th Street, where various vendors display their Esrogim for the season. After picking up some traditional treats for his Sukkah, the Comptroller strolled along 13th Avenue, greeting community members who welcomed his visit.

“What began as a simple trip to buy a Lulav and Esrog has become an annual tradition of over a decade,” shared Ezra Friedlander, a close friend of Lander’s, who helps with the selection process. “The community appreciates his visits, and the Comptroller enjoys the lively atmosphere and connections with local vendors and shoppers preparing for the holiday.”

Israeli Farmers Starting to Come Home

Hezbollah terrorists are retreating from southern Lebanon, showing minimal resistance to the IDF ground offensive, according to the Institute of the Study of War (ISW), a prominent conflict analysis organization located in Washington, DC. ISW reports that fighters have “departed the region” without engaging in “significant defensive actions.”

Makor Rishon reported last Friday that as a result of the ground operation in Lebanon, farmers are returning to the orchards in the Galilee, and roads have been opened.

70% Increase in Visa Applications by Judea and Samaria Arabs Looking to Emigrate Voluntarily

The Ramallah-based leading economic website Aliqtisadi on Sunday reported an increase of between 50% and 70% in requests from Arab residents of Judea and Samaria for travel visas to Europe or the US.

Iyad Al-Kurdi, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Shechem, who also manages a tourism company that deals with issuing visas, told Aliqtisadi the majority of the visas are tourist visas for 25-40-year-old applicants. Al-Kurdi explained that although these are tourist visas, limited to a stay of not more than three months, many PA Arabs apply for such a visa to seek work permits once they arrive, request asylum, or manage to stay illegally “to live outside of Palestine.”

Al-Kurdi noted that the increase in the submission of visa applications began approximately six months after the beginning of the war, due to the economic situation in the PA, the ban on PA Arab labor entering Israel, the consequent rise in unemployment, and the political situation in the PA.

In late January, members of Benjamin Netanyahu’s coalition government, including Ministers and MKs, participated in a conference advocating for the resettlement of the Gaza Strip by Israelis and the voluntary migration of the Arab population from Judea and Samaria.

The conference titled “Victory of Israel Conference: Settlement Brings Security” was held in Jerusalem, showcasing the participation of National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. The event attracted around 1,000 attendees, which included 11 cabinet ministers and 15 members of the Knesset, a significant number of whom are affiliated with Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Likud party.

Ben-Gvir said: “We must encourage voluntary migration. Let them leave. Part of correcting the mistake of the sin of the preconception that brought us to October 7 is to return home to Gush Katif and to northern Samaria. We have to return home because that is the Torah, that is morality, that is historical justice, that is logic and that is the right thing.”

Smotrich said: “I took a beating in the eighth grade when we opposed the terrible folly of the Oslo accords. We yelled until we were hoarse: ‘Don’t give them guns,’ and they didn’t listen to us.” He then continued, “I had the privilege of fighting against the expulsion from Gush Katif and northern Samaria. I paid for that with my own liberty.”

In June, Minister Ben Gvir renewed his demand for the resettlement of the Gaza Strip and the voluntary migration of Arabs from there.

“We are committed to returning to Gaza and northern Samaria. We are committed to settling there,” he said in an online post. “The matter is not limited to Gush Katif,” Ben-Gvir stated, adding, “We have to remind ourselves of one thing: It is not enough to build only settlements.”

More justification to attack? Leaked docs link Iran to Hamas plan to DESTROY Israel

Here’s a hard and fast rule: sensitive documents never just “leak” out by themselves; someone with an interest in the documents becoming public leaks them.

That common sense rule needs to be applied in evaluating reports that appeared simultaneously in The New York Times and The Washington Post on Saturday, based on Hamas’s internal minutes and documents culled by the IDF from the terrorist organization’s control bunker in Khan Yunis in January.

Why?

One probable reason has to do with Israel preparing international public opinion for what is expected and is being widely hyped as a powerful strike on Iran in retaliation for its 180 ballistic missile barrage aimed at the Jewish state two weeks ago. Oddly, but rather typically, the media is already evaluating the likely Iranian response to an Israeli attack that has not even taken place yet.

How are these documents related to Iran?

The documents show that Iran knew of a general plan by Hamas to carry out a massive attack on Israel that it hoped would bring Iran and its proxy Hezbollah into the fray and lead to the collapse of the Jewish State.

Not, mind you, an evacuation of settlements, a retreat to the 1967 lines, or the establishment of a Palestinian state and a two-state solution, but rather, as the Post’s article said, the destruction of Israel.

The Times reported on the minutes of an August 2023 meeting where Khalil al-Hayya, a deputy of Hamas head Yahya Sinwar, discussed the plan a month earlier with Mohammed Said Izadi, an Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps commander based in Lebanon, who helped oversee Tehran’s relations with Palestinian terror organizations.

Izadi, this report read, said that Hezbollah and Iran welcomed the plan in principle but that they needed time “to prepare the environment.”

That Iran knew of the plan and was asked by Hamas to send money to help realize the plan, and that when urged to join in, it said that while it supports the idea, the time is not opportune, gives even more justification for Israel to attack the Islamic Republic – as if Iran’s recent attack was not justification enough.

Israel has tarried in its response to Iran, and the reasons for this may become clearer when the expected attack does take place. But the length of time that has already elapsed between attack and response means that when the response does come, much of the international community will have forgotten the cause.

Along come these documents, and now not only is there justification for the response because of the Iranian missiles, but also because of Iran’s involvement in Hamas’s atrocity.

If George W. Bush was justified, as most Americans at the time felt he was, to go to war against Iraq after 9/11 because the country was seen as aiding and abetting al-Qaeda, then certainly Israel is no less justified in lashing out at Iran, which has aided and abetted Hamas even more.

Beyond implicating Iran in an overall project to launch a dramatic attack on Israel that would lead to its destruction, the leaked documents do something else: they challenge certain assumptions that have taken strong root since October 7.

The first assumption is that the attack was done to stymie a Saudi Arabia-Israel agreement that would pave the way to greater Israeli integration into the Middle East.

According to this assumption, Iran and its proxies feared that such a move would cement a strong US-Israel-Sunni Arab alliance in the region that would be a powerful counterforce to Iran’s hegemonic designs in the region and that it would further push the Palestinian issue off the international agenda.

Indeed, in the weeks just prior to October 7, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke at the UN of Israel and Saudi Arabia being “at the cusp” of a historic breakthrough, fundamentally altering the Middle East. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman echoed this sentiment in a Fox News interview, saying “every day we get closer” to an Israel-Saudi agreement.

Furthermore, in that same month – September 2023 – US President Joe Biden proposed an economic corridor of rail, shipping lines, pipes, and cables that would link India to Europe through the Middle East.

While such an agreement would certainly disrupt Iran’s designs for Middle East hegemony, the leaked documents indicate this wasn’t the reason for the October 7 attack. According to the leaked documents, Hamas had originally planned to carry out this attack in the fall of 2022, a year before the original date, and well before there was serious momentum on the Saudi-Israeli track.

The Times article claimed that Hamas tried to sell their project to Hezbollah as a way of keeping this normalization of ties from taking place, but that was after the die was cast for an attack and they had decided to go forward. This was a rationalization for Hezbollah to get on board, not the reason for the plan; that reason was, as the reports made clear, an extremist ideology and fanatical hatred of Israel.

The second assumption that these documents disproved is that the October 7 attack was a result of last year’s judicial overhaul upheaval and the deep internal rift inside Israel.

If Hamas originally wanted to attack in fall 2022, then that was when Yair Lapid was prime minister and several months before the new Netanyahu government set off full force on the judicial reform plan in January.

Granted, the fall of 2022 was not a shining example of Israeli unity, with the country heading towards its fifth election in 3 ½ years, yet it disproves the notion that tumultuous scenes on the Israeli streets and threats of reserve pilots and soldiers not showing up for service were what was behind the attack. These divisions proved an opportune time to strike, but, again, the plan was not hatched because of the divisions but long before.

Here too, Hamas – in arguments trying to get Hezbollah on board – cited the “internal situation” as a reason they felt compelled to move to the plan now, but it was not the prime mover behind the plan.

Finally, what is striking about these documents is that a terrorist organization hellbent on the Jewish state’s destruction was putting together a project – the “big project” – to implement their fanatical ideology and enlist fellow travelers in the project. All the while, Israel – just 78 years after the Holocaust – was asleep at the wheel.

"Meshiginar" sobs after winning Nobel Peace Prize and says it should have gone to Gaza activists

The winner of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize broke down in tears upon accepting the award, telling the crowd that pro-Palestine activists deserved to win instead.

This year’s prize was won by Nihon Hidankyo, a group of Hiroshima survivors campaigning to rid the world of nuclear weapons.

Hidankyo Mimako, the group’s co-chair gave an emotional acceptance speech at a news conference today, saying he never dreamed they would win and thought ‘those fighting hard for peace in Gaza deserve it’.

Mr Hidankyo added: ‘The images of children In Gaza covered in blood, held by their parents remind me of Japan 80 years ago,’ referring to the US atomic bomb that fell on Hiroshima in 1945.

He said that most people today wanted peace in the world, ‘but politicians insist on waging war, saying, “We won’t stop until we win.”

‘I think this true for Russia and Israel, and I always wonder whether the power of the United Nations couldn’t put a stop to it.’

Electoral College Map Projector Flips Third State From Kamala Harris

A key swing state has flipped in favor of Donald Trump, according to a new Electoral College map projection.

RealClearPolitics' polling tracker shows that Nevada has flipped to Trump, with the former president now 0.2 points ahead of his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the state, on 48.2 percent to her 48 percent. The tracker previously had Harris leading in the state, which President Joe Biden flipped to blue in 2020, since September 2.

Trump's lead in Nevada means the pollster is now forecasting that the former president will win the election with 302 Electoral College votes to Harris' 236. Nevada has 6 electoral votes.

Newsweek has contacted the Trump and Harris campaigns for comment via email.

The shift is driven by a poll conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates/GBAO for The Wall Street Journal between September 28 and October 10, which put Trump 6 points ahead in a head-to-head matchup and 5 points ahead with third-party candidates included. The poll surveyed 600 registered voters and had a margin of error of +/- 4 percentage points.

The move on the RealClearPolitics tracker comes only one day after the site's tracker shifted Michigan to Trump, where it has him leading by 0.9 points. On September 29, the site also gave Pennsylvania to the Republican, although it has him leading only by a razor-thin 0.1-point margin.

It means that RealClearPolitics now predicts a Trump win in six of the seven swing states (Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia), and predicts Harris to only win Wisconsin, giving Trump a clear lead.

However, other recent polls show a closer race in Nevada, including one conducted by Emerson College for Nexstar, in which Harris leads by 1 point, and another conducted by InsiderAdvantage, with Trump leading by 1 point.

Other aggregators still put Harris in the lead in the state. For example, FiveThirtyEight's polling tracker puts the vice president 0.5 point ahead of Trump, while poll aggregator Nate Silver puts her 0.9 points ahead.

Nevada has voted for the Democratic candidate in every presidential election since it voted for Barack Obama in 2008.

The 2024 election is shaping up to be one of the closest races in U.S. history. The latest polls often show Harris and Trump separated by points within the margin of error (which for most polls is at least 3), both nationally and in several states.

The poll trackers by RealClearPolitics, FiveThirtyEight, and Nate Silver all currently have the candidates separated by less than 2 points in all seven swing states, with many race trackers showing them separated by less than 1 point.

Iran’s Plan to Stop Trump and Elect Kamala

In the last two months, Iran set up fake news sites to defame Trump and promote Kamala, hacked the Trump campaign and tried to pass stolen documents to the Harris-Walz campaign and its media allies, and finally plotted to assassinate former President Trump and his officials.

These rather definite statements of Iran’s intentions in the presidential election have been dismissed with generic Russiagate buzzwords that describe the Islamic terrorist state as being out to “destabilize and sow chaos”. When Iran hacked the Trump campaign, we were told that it was to “sow chaos” and now that Trump has been briefed on the assassination threats, once again it’s been described as a plot to “destabilize and sow chaos” in the United States.

But if Iran is out to only “sow chaos” then why isn’t it trying to assassinate Biden or Kamala?

Where are the Iranian agents soliciting useful idiots to take a shot at current administration officials rather than former Trump administration officials? And why didn’t Iran hack into the Kamala campaign and then email the stolen files to the Trump-Vance campaign?
