Biden Admin Sends Iran Condolences After Death of Vicious Monster

The Biden administration sent “official condolences” to the Iranian regime following the death of the Butcher of Tehran.

Jewish Billionaire Bill Ackman tweeted, “This is crazy. What is going on? Did we send condolences to Germany when Hitler died?”

“The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi, foreign minister [Hossein] Amir-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran,” State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement. “As Iran selects a new president, we reaffirm our support for the Iranian people and their struggle for human rights and fundamental freedoms.”

Raisi was known for leading chants of “death to America” during public events in Iran. In February, during a rally in which onlookers burned American and Israeli flags, he slammed the U.S. for supporting “the Zionist regime’s crimes against humanity in Gaza.”

“I say to the enemies; you want to hear the word of the people? These are the great people of Iran,” Raisi was quoted as saying, as the crowd chanted “death to America” and “death to Israel.”

Raisi, “the Butcher of Tehran”—was one of the main architects of a 1988 massacre in Iran that killed around 5,000 regime opponents. Raisi at the time served on the hardline government’s “death committee” that issued death sentences to scores of political dissidents.

Academy Award winner George Clooney,'s Wife Amal Clooney helped convince ICC prosecutors to issue arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu

Amal Clooney played an instrumental role in making the case for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to prosecute Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leaders for suspected war crimes in Israel and Gaza.

Clooney announced on the Clooney Foundation for Justice website Monday that she was asked by the ICC to join a panel of international legal experts to evaluate evidence of suspected war crimes.

After an extensive legal review, the panel determined unanimously that the ICC has jurisdiction over crimes committed in the course of Israel’s war against Hamas, recommending both Hamas and Israeli leaders be held accountable.

“We unanimously conclude that there are reasonable grounds to believe that Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, including hostage-taking, murder and crimes of sexual violence,” Clooney wrote of the panel’s determination.

Israeli leadership did not escape the recommendations of the panel, which singled out both Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and hardline Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for crimes against humanity including “starvation as a method of warfare, murder, persecution and extermination.”

Clooney, 46, an accomplished Lebanese British human rights lawyer, co-founded the Clooney Foundation for Justice with her husband, Academy Award winner George Clooney.

Joining Clooney on the panel were a range of international legal experts and academic advisers in international law, including international humanitarian law and international criminal law. Two members were former judges at criminal tribunals at The Hague.

Clooney was a vocal proponent of prosecuting war crimes committed in Ukraine, even addressing a UN panel in April 2022 when she called the war-torn country “a slaughterhouse.”

However, she has up until now weathered scattered criticism online for a perceived reticence about speaking out on the Israel-Hamas war.

“As a human rights lawyer, I will never accept that one child’s life has less value than another’s. I do not accept that any conflict should be beyond the reach of the law, nor that any perpetrator should be above the law,” she wrote.

“So I support the historic step that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has taken to bring justice to victims of atrocities in Israel and Palestine.”

Rabbi Binyamin Eisenberg of Boro-Park Compares the closing of Miron on Lag Be'Omer to the Tragedies in the Whole Wide World

Truth be told I never heard of Rabbi Eisenberg before, and he seems like a humble "erlicaha yid" with a "hadras panim" and I'm impressed with the way he speaks and the way he explains and expresses himself, I wish I had rebbes like this.

Having said this, I'm perplexed! Am I the only one who doesn't get it?

I want you all to listen to his talk with an open mind. Do you see something very bizarre and upsetting with what he said?  I am not trying to be facetious, I'm very serious and I want to know if I'm the only one who finds his remarks upsetting, to say the least.

In a previous post we questioned whether Lag Be'omer was even the yurzeit of Reb Shimon Ben Yochai and we brought serious poiskim who state unequivocally that dancing in front of a fire could be worshipping Avoda Zara, one of the three cardinal sins that one must forfeit one's life!

But putting all this aside let's go back to Rabbi Eisenberg's polemic. I find it very disturbing that he finds the closing of Meron on Lag Be'Omer comparable to what is going on in the world!

Let's focus on Israel, after all this is where Meron is situated.

Is Rabbi Eisenberg comparing the tragedy of the rape, mutilation, babies thrown into ovens alive, chopping off the heads of babies, chopping off the limbs of Jewish women while still alive, and kidnapping of innocent Jewish civilians, to the "tragedy" of the closing of Meron?? Is he comparing October 7 to the closing of Meron? I'm not going to talk about all the other tragedies that are going on in the world right now, I am focusing on ONE single event. An event that changed the lives of every single Jew that has a heart!

Is that what he is saying? If he is not saying this, someone out there let me know.

It wasn't too long ago, in the year 2020 when the borders of Israel were closed to Jews who weren't citizens. I searched to see if Rabbi Eisenberg found that tragic, but predictably not a word! The IDF closed the site because of safety reasons, but Rabbi Eisenberg is hinting that the Zionists closed it to stop frum people from davening at Meron! How pathetic? Rabbis like Rabbi Eisenberg are on Social Media spreading these awful blood libels! Meron has been hit by missiles every single day for two weeks straight, in fact, one of the roads leading to Meron was destroyed by a missile!

You know what I find tragic is that hundreds of thousands of Jews go up to Meron on Lag Be'omer and leave Yerusahlayim and the Kosel like a widow that just lost her husband. I cry for the Shechinah.

Are we monitoring what the melamdim of our children are teaching them? Are they telling them that Meron is now a place to be "oleh regel?" Is he comparing Yerushalayim to Meron?

As I said many times, the leaders of Klall Yisrael are disconnected! Here is a well-spoken articulate rabbi who seems to really believe what he is saying, and is preaching to naive sheep and embedding his anti-Israel message with a Sfas Emes no less!

The closing of Meron on Lag Be'omer when hundreds of thousands of Jews converge in one small place with no shelter to run to, is the most prudent thing to do, saying that this is a tragedy and lumping this non-tragedy with what is going on the world, is asinine and unbecoming from a seemingly distinguished Boro-Park.

If we don't call these rabbis out, we are doomed! What are we to expect from the regular Joe Shmo, when the rabbis are brainwashing them with "farkrunta" sevorois" crooked ideas

What should we hope for from the goyim, from Colombia, UCLA and Harvard students when our very own leaders minimize the October 7 tragedy?

ICC warrants an attempt to destroy Israel dressed as intl. law

Professor Anne Bayefsky, the Director of the Touro Institute on Human Rights and the Holocaust and President of Human Rights Voices, spoke to Arutz Sheva - Israel National News about International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan's announcement that he is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of "war crimes and crimes against humanity" over the October 7 attacks on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza.

"The move by the ICC Prosecutor is a political attempt to destroy the state of Israel dressed up as law," Prof. Bayefsky said.

"It isn't law to equate the self-defense of the democratic Jewish state - dutifully conducted by its Prime Minister and Defense Minister - with the genocidal ambitions of Palestinian terrorists. It isn't law to charge the leaders of the Jewish state with "extermination" and the behavior of Nazi Germany. Criminalizing the self-determination of the Jewish people is itself criminal," she said.

According to Bayefsky, "The Biden Administration bears direct responsibility for encouraging this move by repeatedly questioning the legality of Israel's self-defense. Those who think that Americans can avoid this obscene international power-grab under the guise of alleged international "law" are terribly mistaken. Now is the time for the American Congress to make good on its legal obligations to sanction all those responsible for this outrage and anyone who attempts to implement it."

In an interview with Christiane Amanpour on CNN today (Monday), ICC Chief Prosecutor Khan said that in addition to Sinwar and Netanyahu, he is seeking warrants against Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as two top Hamas leaders: leader of the Al Qassem Brigades Mohammed Deif, and Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’ political leader.

Khan told CNN that the charges against Sinwar, Haniyeh, and al-Masri include “extermination, murder, taking of hostages, rape and sexual assault in detention.”

He added: “The world was shocked on the 7th of October when people were ripped from their bedrooms, from their homes, from the different kibbutzim in Israel. People have suffered enormously.”

As for the Israeli officials, Khan said the charges include: “Causing extermination, causing starvation as a method of war, including the denial of humanitarian relief supplies, deliberately targeting civilians in conflict."

ICC Prosecutor seeking arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Sinwar ...

The International Criminal Court's Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan is seeking arrest warrants for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on charges of "war crimes and crimes against humanity" over the October 7 attacks on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza, he told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Monday.

Khan also said the court is seeking warrants for Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as two other top Hamas leaders: leader of the Al Qassem Brigades Mohammed Deif, and Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas’ political leader.

A panel of ICC judges will now consider Khan’s application for the arrest warrants.

New Iran President No less a Sadistic Murderer Than Raisi

Cementing its brutal authoritarian rule in the wake of the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi, Iran has named human rights abuser Mohammad Mokhber as acting president.

“Mr. Mokhber will manage the executive power in line with Article 131 of the Constitution and will coordinate with the heads of  the legislative and judicial branches to elect a new president within fifty days,” stated Supreme Leader Khamenei on Monday as quoted by the state-run MEHR News Agency.

Before assuming the vice-presidency in 2021, Mokhber rose quickly through the ranks of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the fanatical military force loyal to the anti-Israel regime in Tehran. As a commander in the IRGC’s elite Quds Force, he assisted in the brutal crackdown on dissidents during the waning years of the Iran-Iraq war. Human rights monitors have compiled extensive evidence since then of his complicity in torture, extrajudicial killings, and other unconscionable human rights violations.

The US Treasury Department has imposed multiple rounds of sanctions on Mokhber for his support of terrorist activities, regional destabilization efforts, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and human rights abuses. He was first sanctioned in 2010 for facilitating illegal transactions on behalf of the IRGC. More US sanctions hit Mokhber in 2017 after evidence was found that he illicitly shipped arms and assisted in human rights violations in Syria.

The young SS "helpers" at Auschwitz concentration camp .. History Repeating Itself on the Streets of New York and other Major Cities in the Free World!

This week on 60 Minutes, Anderson Cooper reported on a photo album received by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum that turned out to be the personal scrapbook of a high-ranking SS officer, Karl Höcker. Höcker worked at the notorious Auschwitz concentration camp.

A play that has been nominated for a Pulitzer Prize, "Here There Are Blueberries," is now telling the story of the historians and archivists who uncovered the identities of the people in the haunting photographs.

The play's title comes from a series of photos in the album— young secretaries who worked under Karl Höcker are seen eating blueberries. A caption next to the photographs reads, "Here there are blueberries."

"And outside of the frame, there's 1.1 million people who are being killed," playwright and director Moises Kaufman told Anderson Cooper.

"So how do you lead your daily life and at the same time participate in one of the largest killing machines in the history of mankind?"

Kaufman's co-creator, Amanda Gronich, said she couldn't help but wonder what the young women in the photographs knew about the systematic killing of Jewish prisoners at Auschwitz while they were there.

"And one of the things the play explores is, 'How much did they know? How much did they know about what was going on?'" Gronich said.

Rebecca Erbelding is a historian at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. She received the Höcker album in the mail in 2007. "Here There Are Blueberries" is based on her and her colleagues' investigation of the album.

Cooper viewed the Höcker album with Erbelding at a high-security facility in Maryland where the museum's collections are stored. As she turned the yellowed pages, she revealed the smiling faces of Auschwitz's "helpers" in the "Blueberries" series of images.

"They were called 'Helferinnen,' or 'helpers.' And they weren't just young women who got drafted and sent there," Cooper told 60 Minutes Overtime.

"These were young women who were true believers, who grew up with Nazi ideology."

Erbelding explained that many of the women who applied to serve as "helpers" were members of the women's division in the Hitler Youth program, Bund Deutscher Mädel, or the League of German Girls.

BDM members were required to have "Aryan" parents, to ensure racial purity according to Nazi racial theory. They were instructed from early ages to adhere to Nazi ideals and find "appropriate" partners. The intention behind the program was to create a future generation of Germans who were faithful to Nazism.

The "helpers" of Auschwitz worked in communications, as telephone, telegram, and radio operators. They would report back to superiors in Berlin with information about the camp's operations.

"Part of the communication that they had to do was communicating the arrivals of trains, how many people had been selected for work, and how many people had been selected to be gassed," Erbelding told Cooper.

Erbelding thinks the "helper" holding the blueberry bowl upside down and mock crying in one of the photographs is Ruth Astrosini.

After Auschwitz, Astrosini worked at Bergen-Belsen, another infamous concentration camp where tens of thousands of prisoners died from starvation and disease. Astrosini was eventually arrested when the British liberated the camp and sentenced at a trial in Krakow, Poland, in 1948.

Another woman believed to be in the photographs is Charlotte Schünzel Bartsch. She testified at the trial of Karl Höcker that she had informed her superiors in Berlin about the trains arriving at Auschwitz and how many prisoners had been sent to the gas chamber.

"They were doing monstrous work," Cooper told 60 Minutes Overtime.

Irene Weiss is a 93-year-old Holocaust survivor. She and her family were sent to Auschwitz when she was 13 years old. Most of her family died in the camp. She is one of the few who survived.

Weiss said she wasn't shocked by what she saw in the Höcker album. She had seen that dark side of humanity at Auschwitz.

Weiss told Cooper that all it takes is "permission" from a higher authority, a government, or a leader, for people to turn on their friends and neighbors.

She recalled testifying at the trial of two former guards who had worked at Auschwitz. She said one of the guards, even in old age, in her view, had taken a position during the trial that he was "following orders" and was just doing what was expected of him.

"They were taught that they were doing it for a higher purpose," she said. "The propaganda, patriotism of his kind was so strong… [he] couldn't let it go."

Toldos Avraham Yitzchok Rebbe Recklessly Advises Chassidm to go to Miron on Lag Be'Omer

Can someone out there verify that this guy is sane?

Is someone going to stop this lunacy?

The IDF's only issue is safety, they ordered the Miron Mount closed, this is to ensure no one gets killed in Miron. But this rebbe with his bow and arrow (see photo above) promises that no one will get hurt!

For years, the IDF warned Lag Be'Omer pilgrims that "it is a tragedy waiting to happen;" the Gedoilim told their followers that the IDF's warning was just a Zionist trick to take control of the mount.
The followers are just a bunch of naive dummies, but then the tragedy where people killed other Jews in a stampede, 45 of them, happened. You would think that the gedoilim would apologize and admit that it was a tragic mistake.
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! they still tell their sheep that the Zionists want control of the mount.

One minute! Even if it were 100% true... SO?
The Zionist control the Kotel, Kever Rachel, Mearas Hamchpileah!
Do you know how many thousands and thousands go to the Mearas Hamachpeilah on Parshas Veiyechi? Of course not as many but I've been there and I can tell you firsthand that the IDF runs a tight ship.

So what is really behind this control of the mount?
Chai Rachel!!!! Askanim have become millionaires fundraising for the Lag Be'omer event, they will not relinquish control. There is also a huge fight between Ashkenazim and Sfardim on who is the true owner of the site. This fight goes back decades. There is a fund of millions by Mr Safre to make the site safe but because of the infighting, the funds have never been released.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, not everyone holds that Ren Shimon Ben Yochai was Niftar on Lag Beomer!

Minchat Elazar 4:64, cited in Nitei GavrielMinhagei Lag Ba’omer. There are eminent authorities such as the Chida, the Ben Ish Chai, and Rabbi Chaim Vital who are of the opinion that Lag Ba’omer is not the yahrtzeit of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai. They argue that this claim is based on scribal errors. See http://www.shofar.net/site/ARDetile.asp?id=8159 for more. See also Divrei Yitzchak (Kaduri), Sha’ar Moadim U’zemanim 5.

And not to Chas Ve'sholom diminish this great Tanna, but the gemarrah in Eiruvin 46b states the Halacha does not follow Reb Shimon Ben Yochai!

About dancing around a fire some postulate that this could even be a problem of Avoda Zara
See this from Eimalim Betorah:

The תוספתא (Shabbos 7:1) enumerates practices
that are אסור to do because they are considered דרכי אמורי.
One of them is clapping, or dancing in front of a fire.

Dancing in front of a fire would be an איסור דאורייתא
of ובחקתיהם לא תלכו.

There will be those who will claim that dancing in front of
a fire is an accepted מנהג בישראל and argue that it can't be
wrong when you have thousands of Yidden & Rebbes dancing
around the fire.

The same argument was probably also used when
there  were thousands of Yidden worshipping the
עגל הזהב.

Perhaps, those planning to dance in front of the fire
should ask their מורה הוראה if this איסור דאורייתא is no
longer applicable today and why not?

On Shabbat night in Beit Shemesh: The Rebbe called to go up to Miron
"There has already been a lot of fire in the area, and nothing has fallen"

At a tish he held on Motzei Shabbas  for hundreds of his followers in Beit Shemesh, the Rebbe of Todolot Avraham Yitzchak said:
"You see that a lot of fire has already been fired into the Miron area, and nothing has fallen in the village of Miron itself."

The Rebbe mentioned his father's words and said:
"My late father would always say - 'What the wicked say, the opposite should be done.' For those who are afraid, I cannot tell them to go up to Miron and take responsibility, but you have to do the opposite of what the wicked say, not let Sitra later manage Miron."

Iranian Jewish community mourns death of Pres. Ebrahim Raisi While the Rest of Iran Celebrates

The Iranian Jewish community headed by its Chief Rabbi Yehuda Gerami, published in the name of the "Agudat Kiliman" (the community's nickname) a bereavement notice following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the country's Foreign Minister, and several others in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

"We are filled with sadness and sobbing following the deaths of the holy ones of the Ayatollah Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the nation and the servant of the Iranian people, together with other diplomats and officials of Islam, the Iranian Republic, and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and all the people of his land," the announcement read. "Without a doubt, Iranian history will never forget the memory of the modest and tortured President."

"The Kiliman community of Iran mourn the sudden lost of their President and other national servants who were killed. Together with all Iranians, we ask the One Above for the highest honors for the princes of this land."

Last year, Rabbi Gerami, leading a delegation of rabbis which included the heads of Jewish communities, met Raisi at a meeting of religious leaders.

During that meeting, Raisi mentioned Israel, saying, "Those who are oppressing the oppressed people in Palestine, in the name of the Jews have no connection to the Jewish religion and the followers of the Prophet Moses today. Those who oppress people in any place in the world in the name of Christianity have no connection to Christianity because all of the prophets hated oppression."

Meanwhile in the rest of Iran

As soon as the news broke on Sunday that the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi had crashed far north-western corner of the country, Iranians began to celebrate. Celebrations then only increased after the President was announced to be dead.

Bat Yam rabbi: No 'Tachanun' prayers following Raisi's death

Rabbi David Chai Hacohen, dean of the Netivot Hatora yeshiva in Bat Yam and a neighborhood rabbi in the city, has instructed his students to omit the "Tachanun" prayer during Monday's morning and afternoon prayers, following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash.

The Tachanun prayer is a prayer of supplication, which is not said on festive days or days of thanksgiving.

"The President was a very 'special' hater of israel, and he was the greatest of all the Iranians. And may it be G-d's will that the wolves in the forest where he fell will eat him. This is good news for the Jewish people. Even more than Haman - if we make a festive meal on the day he was killed - then even more so, we should not say Tachanun. It is mentioned in the Mishna Berura that on the first day of the intermediate days of Passover he was hanged, and therefore we should add a special dish."

A prayer of thanksgiving, with song and dance, was aslo held at the yeshiva.
