FDR's Abandonment of the Jews

Franklin D. Roosevelt is widely remembered as a strong leader who boldly led America out of the Great Depression and to the brink of victory in World War II.

Yet when it comes to the Holocaust, some defenders of FDR's record want us to believe he was not responsible for keeping Jewish refugees out of America—as if that was all the handiwork of the State Department, which supposedly ran U.S. immigration policy and foreign policy independently of the president’s wishes.

Sorry, but you can’t have it both ways.

Anyone home? Woman in Florida receives surprise Thanksgiving visitor as black bear wanders up to front door and rings doorbell

A woman received a surprise visitor for Thanksgiving when a curious black bear wandered up to her house and set off her doorbell.

The furry creature was caught on camera as it sniffed her porch and stood on its hind legs and peered in the door.

The incident happened last week in Oviedo, Florida, the night before Thanksgiving.

Footage recorded on the doorcam shows the unexpected guest walk up the driveway towards the front door on all fours.

It stops as it reaches the door and peers up.  It then hops onto it's hind legs with its front paws on the door to get a better look inside.

The motion alerted the homeowners and a woman opens the door only to see the bear walking away.

'Oh s*** it's a bear!' she exclaims in shock as she abruptly closes the door.

The bear can be seen looking around the driveway before it turns its back on the house and heads off.

The video, which was captured on November 25, was posted online and received thousands of views.

The woman explained how she had been expecting a delivery driver, but opened the door to a bear instead.

'I could hear my Ring doorbell activate, letting me know there was motion near my door,' she said.

'I thought I was opening to find a FedEx delivery but instead was greeted by the back end of a huge bear walking away.

'The mama bear and her three cubs have been wondering my neighborhood for months.

'This was my first encounter. Until last night, I had only seen them on neighbors Ring postings.'

Israel's Terrifying Arsenal of Robot Weaponry as Iran Claims its Top Nuclear Scientist was Killed with a Remote-control Gun

Israel is one of the world's foremost users of drone technology on the battlefield, with remote-control pickups, boats and backpack drones at its disposal.

The IDF has been using the technology since at least the mid-2000s, mostly to conduct patrols along its border with Gaza.

While many of the vehicles are unarmed, they can also be equipped with machine guns and missiles which can be fired remotely.

Israel is one of the world's foremost users of drone technology on the battlefield, with remote-control pickups, boats and backpack drones at its disposal.

As a result, Israel is one of the world's largest exporters of drone technology, selling unmanned vehicles worth a total of $4.6billion in 2013, mostly to Asia and Europe.

MailOnline took a look at the Israeli arsenal after Iran claimed a satellite-controlled gun mounted on a pickup truck was used to take out Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, their top nuclear scientist, and pointed the finger of blame at Israel...

1. Machine-gun pickup truck

The IDF showed off this technology in 2016, when it was fitted into Ford F-350 pickup trucks that were designed to conduct border patrols.

The trucks, dubbed Border Protector Unmanned Ground Vehicles, are equipped with an array of sensors and cameras that allowed people to drive them remotely.

The IDF unveiled Ford F350 pickup trucks that could be controlled remotely in 2016, saying they would soon be outfitted to carry machine guns that could be fired remotely

At the time they were unveiled the trucks were unarmed, but the IDF said it was hoping to arm the vehicles some time in early 2017.

'We will get a machine gun on the vehicle that will be operated from a control room,' an IDF official told Fox News at the time.

The IDF said the vehicles have been operational since 2015, and would later incorporate driverless technology.

2. Remote-control boat

The Protector boat was developed in Israel by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems and put into service around 2005.

Unmanned and unarmed, the boat was initially used to conduct routine surveillance missions without putting crews at risk.

The Rafael Protector remote-control boat entered service around 2008, and was later retrofitted to be able to fire missiles

Rafael later adapted the boats to fire rockets, the Times of Israel reported, with the Navy carrying out successful test-fires of the weapons in 2018.

Some of the navy’s unmanned ships come equipped with machine guns and water cannons, which are controlled remotely.

Scientists Finally Agree that Intelligent Life is Extremely UNLIKELY to Exist Anywhere Else in the Universe Because it Took Miracles for Humans to Evolve

DIN's  take on this:

I've always been amazed that the same scientists that made it a business of searching for signs of life in the universe and spend billions and probably now trillions of dollars doing so,  have no issues with allowing and encouraging the destruction of human life in the womb...

instead of focusing if there is life out there, why not find encourage women to keep their babies .. and support them financially. And if they really cannot deal with child rearing to encourage them to give these tiny lives to people that would cherish them.

They look for aliens and all types of life on Mars and yet  have no compunction  in killing unborn children.

What a crazy world ... that people that want to save the unborn child are called "Pro-Life" .... why should anyone be "anti-life?'

They call murderers of live unborn children "pro-choice" .....

"pro-choice?" We now have a choice whether we want to suck a life out a womb and flush it down the toilet? ....

Statisticians say the evolution of intelligent life is 'exceptionally rare', and that human-like civilisations are extremely unlikely to exist on other planets.

In a new paper, Oxford researchers theorise that, for life to evolve in the same way elsewhere in the universe, it would take longer than the whole of Earth's projected lifespan.

Evolution on Earth from the Big Bang up until the current day has involved a series of what they call 'evolutionary transitions' that were helped by chance.

These include the emergence of primitive life from non-living matter (known as abiogenesis) and eukaryotic life (with cells that have a nucleus enclosed), the evolution of sexual reproduction, multicellularity, and intelligence itself.

If intelligent life does exist on other planets, it would need to have gone through a series of comparable evolutionary transitions.

The research draws on the Fermi paradox, which is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for extra-terrestrial civilizations and various high estimates for their probability.

Neera Tanden the Biden OMB pickspread conspiracy theory about Trump’s 2016 win

Neera Tanden, Joe Biden’s new appointee as director of the Office of Management and Budget, spread baseless conspiracy theories after the 2016 election insisting that Hillary Clinton lost to President Trump because Russian hackers flipped votes.

The 50-year-old president of liberal think tank Center for American Progress and long-time Clinton loyalist served as an unpaid adviser during her 2016 White House bid and repeatedly claimed in the weeks after Trump’s victory that Clinton only lost because of Kremlin operatives.

In a series of tweets, some still online Monday, Tanden claimed the “Russians did enough damage to affect more than 70k votes in 3 states,” referring to Clinton’s losing margin in the Rust Belt states of Michigan and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

As first reported by Intercept co-founder Glenn Greenwald, Tanden began just days after the election baselessly suggesting that Russian hackers had switched votes from Clinton to Trump.

“Why would hackers hack in unless they could change results? What’s the point?” she speculated, suggesting this was why “Trump was as surprised as everyone else” by his win.

Her selection on Monday as Biden’s OMB chief, a hugely important role that oversees the administration’s financial management, quickly went down in flames as Republicans said there was no chance she would be confirmed by a GOP-controlled Senate.

Tanden has a history of making inflammatory comments about Republican senators, comments which she swiftly began deleting on Monday after news of her confirmation broke.

Josh Holmes, former chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), speculated on Twitter that Tanden’s nomination was a “sacrifice to the confirmation gods,” while Garrett Ventry, an ex-adviser to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s GOP majority, said it would be “a funeral.”

Tanden would need 51 votes in the Senate to become chief of the OMB. Democrats control 48 seats but are hoping to pick up two more in the Georgia Senate runoff elections Jan. 5.

Regardless, Drew Brandewie , a spokesman for Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), put her chances at “zero.”

“Neera Tanden, who has an endless stream of disparaging comments about the Republican Senators’ whose votes she’ll need, stands zero chance of being confirmed,” he wrote Monday.

Anticipating a fight, Democrats like Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio immediately began fortifying Tanden’s bid, calling her “smart, experienced, and qualified for the position.”

Unveiling his economic team Monday, Biden also announced Cecilia Rouse to direct the Council of Economic Advisers, which provides the president with objective economic advice.

Biden will inherit the White House amid an unprecedented economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, but in a March interview with Vox, Rouse, a former member of President Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, claimed the US didn’t need any financial stimulus.

“Right now, we don’t need stimulus. We need the opposite of stimulus,” Rouse claimed. “We want the economy to stop, in many ways. Right now, we need liquidity. We need people to be able to pay bills.”

Gridlocked for months, Congress has yet to vote on extending small-business Paycheck Protection Program loans or the $600-per-week federal boost to unemployment insurance with millions of Americans out of work.

On Sunday, the former veep also named his all-female communications shop, which will be led by Kate Bedingfield, who was his campaign communications director.

Anti-Trump activist Karine Jean-Pierre, formerly Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’ chief of staff, will serve as a principal deputy press secretary to Biden.

Jean-Pierre, a former MSNBC contributor, also has a history of peddling conspiracy theories, claiming in a March interview on the liberal network that the president claimed the coronavirus was “a hoax.”

In October 2017, Jean-Pierre also claimed that Trump was “essentially defecating on women” by allegedly signing unspecified executive orders to take away their rights, and in January 2019 insisted that the president’s criticism of the intelligence community felt like “authoritarianism.”

Dead Pig Found Outside Rabbi’s Door In Lakewood

They live in galut and they are outraged that a goyish neighbour sent him a pig, it could also have been a mispallel of the rabbi who had it in for him.

A dead pig’s body was found outside the door of a rabbi in the heavily Orthodox township of Lakewood, New Jersey.

The body was found on Shabbat, according to The Lakewood Scoop, and the local police department is treating the incident as a bias crime. Pigs are seen as the quintessentially unkosher animal and have long been used as an anti-Semitic symbol.

“We will not tolerate such acts in our town,” Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer told The Scoop, a local publication in the South Jersey township of 106,000.

The New York-New Jersey office of the Anti-Defamation League tweeted that “This incident is beyond horrifying & should be condemned by all.”

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency has reached out to the Lakewood Police and the ADL for more information.

Iran Looking to Target Jews in the UAE

Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) issued a level 3 severe travel warning to the United Arab Emirates in the wake of Iran’s vows of reprisal against Israel for the killing of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

Defense officials are concerned that Israeli tourists in the UAE, a country that is generally easily accessible from Iran, could be targeted in reprisal attacks, Channel 12 News reported on Sunday.

Other scenarios that Israeli defense officials are considering are attacks on Israeli embassies or Jewish institutions worldwide, cross-border attacks from Syria and Lebanon by Iranian proxies, or cyberattacks on Israel’s infrastructure.

Israeli embassies throughout the world have been placed on high alert.

The report added that senior security officials recently held a meeting on ensuring the safety of Israeli tourists in the UAE and are also cooperating with Emirati security officials to ensure Israelis are adequately protected.

Israel’s Counterterrorism Bureau issued a travel warning to the UAE and Bahrain following the possibility of Israeli visiting the Gulf States after the signing of the Abraham Accords. The bureau’s travel advisory is a “basic concrete threat” – the third-highest advisory, with the first two being a “very high concrete threat” and “high concrete threat.”

The assassination has been widely attributed to Israel and Iran has vowed to take revenge on the Jewish state.
