Borders On Holocaust Denial’: CNN Blasted Over Shocking Segment Comparing Trump To Nazis Purging Jews

CNN faced intense backlash on Friday over a segment that the leftist news organization aired this week that compared President Donald Trump’s administration to the Nazis purging Jews in Germany in the late 1930s.

“Commemorations of Kristallnacht took place earlier this week, remembering the 1938 two-day pogrom during which the Nazis burned more than 1,400 synagogues and Jewish institutions in Germany and Austria,” The Jerusalem Post reported

“While recalling the story of the infamous antisemitic slaughter, CNN Chief International Anchor and host of CNN International’s nightly interview program Christiane Amanpour, compared President Donald Trump’s presidency to that tragic event, explaining there has similarly been a ‘modern day assault’ attacking ‘those same values.'”

CNN faced intense backlash over the segment, yet the network did not issue any sort of statement and neither did Amanpour.

After the break are a small sample of some of the responses that the network received:

German apologizes for his Nazi grandfather by tracking down descendants of Jewish shopkeeper whose hardware store he seized

German businessman Thomas Edelmann (left), 49, reached out to Hanna Ehrenreich, 83, to apologize for his grandfather Wilhelm (inset right) buying her grandfather Benjamin Heidelberger's (inset left) hardware store (right) in Bad Mergentheim, southern Germany, under Nuremburg laws in 1938. The laws allowed Germans to confiscate Jewish property. He wrote to the retired teacher in Israel asking if she wanted to speak and they talked about their families over the phone for 90 minutes.

The grandson of a Nazi who took over a Jewish man's store tracked down his descendants in Israel to apologise.

German businessman Thomas Edelmann, 49, received a marketing call last year that allowed him to reach out and apologise for the actions of the grandfather he never met.

The father-of-two came across Nazi tax records confirming that Jewish owner Benjamin Heidelberger sold his hardware store in Bad Mergentheim, southern Germany, to Wilhelm Edelmann.

Anti-semitic Nuremburg laws, which allowed Germans to confiscate Jewish property, forced Mr Heidelberger to sell in 1938.

Mr Edelmann mentioned the tax records in a call to a MyHeritage salesperson, who was able to track down Mr Heidelberger 83-year-old granddaughter Hanna Ehrenreich, a retired teacher living in Israel.

Israel eliminated senior Iranian al-Qaeda figure in Iran

The New York Times reported that three months ago, Israel eliminated al-Qaeda's No. 2 in Iran, Abdullah Ahmad Abdullah, at the request of the United States.

According to intelligence sources, the senior was shot dead on the streets of Tehran on the anniversary of the 1998 attack on the United States embassies, of which he was one of the perpetrators. Along with Abdullah, his daughter, the widow of Osama bin Laden's son, was also killed.

Neither Israel, the United States, nor even al Qaeda commented on the assassination. On the other hand, Iran denied the report and the Foreign Ministry in Tehran said that "there are no al Qaeda terrorists in Iran; Washington and Tel Aviv are trying to abdicate responsibility for al Qaeda's activities and terror organizations."

Chabad , Avraham Aveenu and Blasphemy

In my hometown, Beit Shemesh, they distribute free newspapers and newsletters... and some are exclusively dedicated to the parsha of the week.

One of the newsletters which is basically dedicated to whats happening in Beit Shemesh is called "Temurah" and even though chareidim is not their target audience, they do add a "dvar Torah."

This week's "dvar Torah" was submitted by a Chabadniker by the name of Harav Eliezer Veiner.

He starts off very nice explaining how Avraham Aveenu bought the Mearas Ha'machpeilah with good money for a steep price, so that Sarah, his late wife, would never be part of the "Bnei Cheis" even after her death ..and so he made sure to own the property ... and then  to ultimately give this as a heritage to his descendants ...

All nice and good..... right?

Not so fast.... in his very last paragraph he goes off on a tangent to embed Chabad theology into this sacred story ..
which would be ok ..except this last paragraph is blasphemous ...

He tells a story of the third Lubavitcher Rebbe (1789-1866), R' Dovber who was known by the title the "Tzemach Tzedek."

It seems that a Jew went to the Rebbe for his blessings as he wanted to make Aliyah ... the Rebbe instead of giving him his blessings told him..
"Make Eretz Yisrael here."

Rabbi Veiner explains that "when a Jew takes a material object or anything and in turn makes it holy, and performs a mitzvah with that object or place ... he turns that place into holiness.. into Eretz Yisrael"

So I know you are wondering....you are scratching your itchy head trying to understand why this is "blasphemous?"

It's "blasphemous" on so many levels that I don't even know where to begin ...
I'll just scratch the surface..

First ...
Know that just like the Catholic Church pre 1993, Chabad does not recognise the State of Israel....... nope.... they absolutely do not recognise it ... even though you may argue that the previous rebbe did meet with the President and Prime Ministers of Israel... he met them as Jews and as leaders of Jews ... not as representatives of the State of Israel....

So Rabbi Viner knowing the above story of the Tzemach Tzedik, couldn't reconcile this story with the parsha and was wondering why Avraham Aveenu would buy land in Chevron, part of Eretz Yisrael, and pay top dollar ..if he could just buy a cheap piece of  land in nearby Iraq and "make this land into Eretz Yisrael"and bury his wife Sarah with her parents and grandparents in Chutz Le'aaretz ....as the Tzemach Tzedik suggested to that poor Jew "make Eretz Yisrael here" ... a Jew who because of this advice probably lost all his descendants in the Holocaust or were most likely assimilated into the Russian secular society ......never to be heard of again..

So instead of saying to himself ... "hey... this story does not square with the parsha... he tries taking a shoehorn to the "Avraham Aveenu story" so that it fit with this irrelevant theology... that one doesn't have to live in Eretz Yisrael and one can live in Timbuktu and make that holy..

I don't know really what transpired by the Tzemach Tzedik and why the Rebbe would give this advice.... to this Jew ..who knows...?
But what's sure is sure...
The Ribono Shel Olam gave Avraham Aveenu and his descendants  Eretz Yisrael.... he didn't give them Lubavitch, Russia where the Tzemach Tzedik and that poor Jew lived ...

Hashem could have easily told Avraham Aveenu to remain in Iraq and "make that holy"
Hashem wants all Jews to come home... not wait for Moshiach to come home... but to come home now...
The Baal Shem Tov who lived just a generation before the Tzemach Tzedik tried making Aliyah ..and his students actually did go..
The Grah, the Chafetz Chayim all didn't say "lets make Radin, or Vilna holy" but made plans to emigrate from the blood soaked earth to Eretz Yisrael ...

Rabbi Viner actually lives in Israel... but to remain true to his ideals he tries to embed Chabad theology into his divrei Torah ... it's ok .. I have no problem with that ... but don't talk "narishkeitin"

Secondly, Rabbi Viner wrote this article in a newsletter that is read primarily by chilonim ....
Can you imagine ....? A guy wants to read a Dvar Torah ...something that he can repeat at his shabbos table and he reads to his family that you can live in San Frans'sicko and "make that holy ..." that it's not important to remain in Israel....
Bad message ... and false..
Shabbat Shalom

Israel "Chaps Arein" Before Biden’s Term and Approves 108 New Housing Units in Ramat Shlomo

The Jerusalem Municipality approved the construction of 108 new housing units in the “east Jerusalem” neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, Kan News reported on Thursday.

The Kan report said that the construction plans will be swiftly advanced “hopefully before the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Joe Biden.”

The announcement is fraught with symbolism as during a visit of then vice-president Joe Biden to Israel in 2010, an announcement of 1,600 new housing units in Ramat Shlomo caused a major crisis in relations between Israel and the Obama administration.

According to a Haaretz report, officials in the Jerusalem Municipality and the Israel Land Authority were asked to advance construction plans in neighborhoods in the city that are beyond the Green Line – before Biden’s inauguration on January 20.

Ramat Shlomo is actually north of Jerusalem but is situated across the “Green Line.”

Pennsylvania Judge Rules For Trump Invalidating Ballots Received After Nov 9

A Pennsylvania judge ruled in favor of the Trump campaign Thursday, overturning a decision by the Secretary of State that allowed voters 3 extra days to provide proof of identification.

According to state law, voters have up to 6 days after election day to resolve identification issues if needed. This came out to November 9 this year.

Following the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling that mail-in ballots may be accepted for an additional three days after Election Day, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar extended the deadline for resolving proof of identification issues for additional 3 days as well, which comes out to today, November 12.

However, Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt ruled on Thursday that Boockvar did not possess the statutory authority to extend that deadline, thereby invalidating ballots that arrived between November 9 and November 12.

“[T]he Court concludes that Respondent Kathy Boockvar, in her official capacity as Secretary of the Commonwealth, lacked statutory authority to issue the November 1, 2020, guidance to Respondents County Boards of Elections insofar as that guidance purported to change the deadline … for certain electors to verify proof of identification,” Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt said in a court order.

Leavitt’s decision matches the argument put forth by the Trump campaign, that the move had no basis in Pennsylvania state law, and was therefore unconstitutional.

The court had previously ordered that all ballots arriving between November 9 and November 12 should be segregated. Judge Leavitt’s ruling means that these ballots now may not be counted.

This legal challenge is one of a slew of challenges the Trump campaign intends to bring in Pennsylvania. On Friday, the campaign intends to challenge thousands of ballots already tallied in the state, on the basis that they were allegedly counted despite the fact that they were missing required information.

In addition, the Supreme Court has yet to issue a ruling on whether the three-day extension issued by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for accepting mail-in ballots was valid or not.

Trump Will Make COVID-19 Vaccine Free At Major Pharmacies

Federal health officials have reached an agreement with pharmacies across the U.S. to distribute free coronavirus vaccines after they are approved and become available to the public.

The goal eventually is to make getting a COVID-19 vaccine like getting a flu shot.

Thursday’s agreement with major chain drug stores, grocery market pharmacies and other chains and networks covers about 3 in 5 pharmacies in all 50 states and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico. It looks ahead to a time next spring when yet-to-be-approved vaccines will start to become available beyond priority groups such as health care workers and nursing home residents.

“The vast majority of Americans live within five miles of a pharmacy,” said Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, calling the agreement “a critical step toward making sure all Americans have access to safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines when they are available.”

Supreme Court Sides With Trump Will Not Allow Wisconsin's Ballot Deadline Extension

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rejected Democrats’ efforts in Wisconsin to allow state election officials to accept mail-in ballots that arrive later than Nov. 3.

The ruling

The high court ruled 5-3 against reinstating an order by a lower court that would have allowed officials to count mail-in and absentee ballots even if they arrived up to six days after Election Day but were postmarked by Nov. 3.

Progressive justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Stephen Breyer opposed the decision.

Wisconsin is one of about 30 states that require a mail-in or absentee ballot to arrive by Nov. 3 in order to be counted.

Democrats in the state have argued extending the period by which ballots are received was necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is aligned with a previous ruling by a federal district judge who decided the Nov. 3 deadline violated Wisconsin voters’ rights amid the pandemic and ruled to extend the deadline by six days.

But a federal appeals court in Chicago blocked the judge’s order, arguing it violated a precedent set by the Supreme Court that prohibits changing election rules so close to an election, CBS News reported.

The decision comes about a week after the Supreme Court agreed with the ruling of a Pennsylvania state court to extend the deadline for accepting ballots in the state by three days.

In an opinion Monday, Chief Justice John Roberts explained the decision, saying that unlike the Pennsylvania order, the Wisconsin order concerns a lower federal court, not a state court.

“While the Pennsylvania applications implicated the authority of state courts to apply their own constitutions to election regulations, this case involves federal intrusion on state lawmaking processes. Different bodies of law and different precedents govern these two situations and require, in these particular circumstances, that we allow the modification of election rules in Pennsylvania but not Wisconsin,” Roberts wrote.

Despite Covid-19 Pandemic, UN’s World Health Organization Spends Four Hours Bashing Israel

Despite a ongoing global pandemic that has taken over a million lives, the United Nations’ World Health Organization (WHO) took time on Thursday to condemn Israel.

The group’s annual assembly held a four-hour session in which 30 representatives of countries such as Syria, North Korea, and Iran blasted Israel for supposedly violating the health rights of Palestinians and Syrians.

The assembly then adopted a resolution condemning Israel and pledging to prepare a report on the Jewish state’s supposed misdeeds.

Among the nations that attacked Israel at the session was Iran, which accused it of conducting an “inhuman blockade” of the Gaza Strip that had a “profound impact on the health sector.”

Countries voting in favor of the resolution included, among others, France, India, Ireland and Spain.

Israel, the US, the UK, Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Honduras and Hungary all voted against it.

Hillel Neuer — executive director of the Geneva-based NGO UN Watch — called the proceedings a “cynical politicization of the world’s top health agency at the expense of focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic and other vital global health priorities and emergencies.”

Neuer said the charges made against Israel at the session were untrue, pointing out, “Despite the conflict, Israel grants entry to tens of thousands of Palestinians who receive top-level medical care at Israeli hospitals. Even the UN’s own Middle East peace envoy hailed Israel’s ‘excellent’ coordination and cooperation with Palestinians amid the coronavirus pandemic.”

Trump Plans to Establish Brand New Network Which Will Wreck Fox News'

Trump is eyeing the establishment of a digital media company, Axios reported.

Sources cited by Axios said that Trump was enraged by the election coverage of Fox, which is presumed to be more conservative than other outlets, and “plans to wreck” the news company.

Fox made an early call for Biden in Arizona, even though the current count in the state still finds the candidates neck and neck.

"He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it," a source said to have detailed knowledge of Trump's intentions claimed, according to the report.

Earlier this week, sources told Newsmax that Fox News' Justice with Judge Jeanine, hosted by former New York State judge Jeanine Pirro, was suspended over a spat on the network's coverage of President Donald Trump.

Sources close to the network told Newsmax that because Pirro defended President Trump and "wanted to expose the vote fraud that took place in the election", Fox News decided not to air her show. It had extended coverage of Democrat Joe Biden's acceptance speech of the contested election.

The sources gave no inclination of whether the network is going to keep the show going, but Newsmax says she was suspended at least for this weekend.

Nurse charged in murder of eight babies, attempted murder of 10

A British nurse was charged in the murder of eight babies and attempted murder of 10 others after being arrested for the third time in connection with the horrific crimes at a hospital’s neonatal unit since 2016, according to reports.

Lucy Letby, 30, who worked at the Countess of Chester Hospital, was arrested after a three-year probe that was launched after the facility raised an alarm about the large number of deaths there between March 2015 and July 2016, the Sun reported.

The hospital in Cheshire, southeast of Liverpool, conducted an internal inquiry when health care workers found that premature babies had suffered heart and lung failures, according to the outlet.

“The Crown Prosecution Service has authorized Cheshire Police to charge a healthcare professional with murder in connection with an ongoing investigation into a number of baby deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital,” according to a statement.

“Lucy Letby, of Arran Avenue, Hereford, is facing eight charges of murder and 10 charges of attempted murder,” it added.

IDF: Missing soldier found dead

An Israel Defense Forces soldier who was missing for two days was found dead on Thursday, near a military checkpoint close to east Jerusalem, the military confirmed, saying that an investigation of the incident has been launched.

The body of Cpl. Sagi Ben-David, who had been missing since Tuesday, was located near the Hizma checkpoint, the IDF said, adding the family had been notified.

Ben David was stationed at the Anatot Base near Jerusalem, where he was last seen. He apparently turned off his phone when he left the base.

The IDF noted that the Israel Police was taking part in the investigation into the circumstances of his death, adding that while all leads are being pursued at this time, it appears his death was not a result of a nationalistically motivated act.

CNN Gestapo ... Puts Up List of Republican Senators Who Have Not “Acknowledged Biden Is President-Elect”

Yesterday, Brianna Keilar, the host of CNN’s “Right Now” put up a list of Republican Senators who have not publicly, “acknowledged Joe Biden is president-elect.”

What percentage of Democrats congratulated George W. Bush on his win over Al Gore while they were recounting votes in Florida? Zero percent?

Incidentally, they SHOULDN’T HAVE congratulated Bush at that point, nor should Murkowski, Romney, Collins, and Sasse have congratulated Biden. Reason being, Joe Biden IS NOT the president-elect yet.

There are court challenges happening that could conceivably overturn the election results and in that case, he would never be President.

Is it likely that those court challenges will succeed? Given the information we’ve seen publicly so far, no, it is not. Could there be more information they are holding back? Could there be a surprise ruling?

Given all the legitimate questions and concerns people have about this election, is it good to have these concerns reviewed by judges? Absolutely. Let the process play out and if Trump loses his court cases, congratulate away, like anything that petty matters in the long term anyway.

Republican Incumbent Wins Alaska Senate Race – Guaranteeing GOP 50 Seats

Alaska’s Republican Senator Dan Sullivan won his re-election race today, which guarantees Republicans at least fifty seats in the Senate. This news was announced right as we also learned that the State was finally called for President Donald Trump (as if there was any doubt).

Sullivan and Trump’s victories in Alaska are just the latest good news out of the state after we learned that Republicans flipped Alaska’s state House of Representatives.

That leaves Republicans with a 50-48 majority in the Senate, with two runoff races in Georgia to be decided in January. Whether or not Democrats can muster a technical majority in the Senate boils down to whether they can win both runoff races, and if Joe Biden does end up becoming President, in which case Kamala Harris would be able to cast the tie-breaker vote for Democrats.

In Georgia, Republican Kelly Loeffler will face Democrat challenger Raphael Warnock, while Republican David Perdue will face a challenge from Democrat Jon Ossoff. Georgia media outlet “Atlanta News Now” has a poll showing both Republicans leading slightly – which probably means they’re leading by a lot.
