CBS holds Trump clip demanding an end to violence in his name

Image result for cbs
On Friday, CBS’ Lesley Stahl sat down with President-elect Donald Trump for a wide-ranging interview that covered myriad topics following his historic election win. The “60 Minutes” interview aired on Sunday, and clips promoting the exclusive were shared by CBS ahead of the program.
Viewers are questioning why CBS did not immediately post a clip in which Trump told any of his supporters who are reportedly harassing minorities to “stop it!”
Stahl told Trump some of his supporters are allegedly “harassing Latinos, Muslims.” Trump replied, “I am so saddened to hear that and I say stop it. If it helps, I will say this, and I will say right to the camera: stop it!”

Trump tells supporters responsible for violence to 'stop it' and CBS releases various other bits of footage but holds that for two days.

Soros Prepares For Trump War

George Soros and his fellow liberal mega-donors are currently readying the post-Hillary Clinton Democratic party to oppose President-Elect Donald Trump.
According to Politico, Soros and other key members of the so-called “Democracy Alliance” met in Washington, DC at the Mandarin Oriental hotel on Sunday for the first day of the group’s three-day investment conference.

The Democracy Alliance has funneled upwards of $500 million toward liberal activist groups and candidates since Soros co-founded the group in 2005.
DA requires all members — which in 2016 includes more than 100 “finance titans” — to donate at least $200,000 a year to approved activist groups.

But the issues the DA and DNC traditionally use to mobilize liberal voters — a la climate change — failed to pull white, working class support away from Trump and the GOP, which as one Democrat operative put, should “[call] into question… the DA itself.”

Therefore, at this year’s meeting, Soros and other liberal leaders — including Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren and Keith Ellison — will discuss opposing Trump’s plan for his first 100 days in office, a plan the DA called “a terrifying assault on President Obama’s achievements, and our progressive vision for an equitable and just nation.”

Trump has pledged that his first 100 days in office will be dedicated to restoring “honesty, accountability and change to Washington.”

His plan consists of seven points and several legislative initiatives centered on limiting the power of the federal government empowering the American working class.

  • A Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress

  • A hiring freeze on all federal employees to reduce federal workforce through attrition (exempting military, public safety, and public health)

  • A requirement that for every new federal regulation, two existing regulations must be eliminated

  • A five year ban on White House and Congressional officials becoming lobbyists after they leave government service

  • A lifetime ban on the White House officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government

  • A complete ban on foreign lobbyists raising money for American elections

  • Cancel billions in payments to U.N. climate change programs and use the money to fix America’s water and environmental infrastructure

Zero Hedge published this video. Here you have visual confirmation of how a substantial portion of these professional, paid protesters arrive at the site of the protest, in this case Chicago. See the 5 city blocks of parked buses on the West side of Chicago which came from Wisconsin (Badger Bus Lines) bringing in protesters. The Sears tower is visible in the background.

Ami Magazine Mocks Jews Making Aliyah and Brings Proof From the Parsha???

The arrogant "menuval" Yitzy "Clown" Frankfurter mocks Jewish people who have this burning desire to  fulfill their lifelong dreams to make Aliyah! .... He mocks the Jewish nation for  sacrificing their very comforts in galut, who pack and leave chutz le'aaretz, to observe the Mitzvah of Yishuv Eretz Yisroel, that the Ramban says, is in effect "Bezman Hazeh" in the here and now!

So to support his "litzanis" he bizarrely brings "proof" from Hashem's commandment to Avraham "לך לך " that this wasn't a command for Aliyah  and brings a Rambam to back up his "ama ratzis"!

He scribbles in this week's "editorial" that

"Many people, especially those in the Religious Zionist camp, have interpreted G-d's command of "lech lecha" as meaning "Go make aliyah!"  (notice he writes Aliyah with a small "a")
According to them, Avraham Avinu was in fact the first Jew to do so, and he thus serves as a prototype for modern-day aliyah. The Rambam, however, in his commentary on Avos (5:3), says the exact opposite --- that G-d commanded Avraham to go into galus, thereby rendering him the world's first "wandering Jew."

    The Clown writes:
G-d's instruction to leave Ur Kasdim was not merely a means to an end, i.e., a necessary step in order for Avraham to reach Eretz Yisroel, but was an end in itself"

Then he proceeds to denigrate "baalei batim"
"You may ask, "Well, aren't the baalei batim right in this instance? After all, G-d instructed Avraham to his birthplace and settle in Eretz Yisroel." ....
Helllllow! Avaraham Aveenu was also a Baal Boose"..... no  he wasn't in Kollel!

So lets learn a bit and see how one really learns the parsha and see that the Religious Zionists have absolutely Rishonim to rely on and of course our Holy Torah itself!

The Torah writes, that when Hashem gave the commandment of Lech Lecha ....Avraham was 75 years old (12:4)

Later in the Parsha (15:1) the Torah relates the incident of  "Bris Bein Habsarim." This was the deal that Hashem made with Avraham that he will give his children, Eretz Yisroel...

According to the Cheshben of the Chizkuni (15:7), Avraham was 70 years old at the "Bris Bein Habsarim"
So the "Bris Bein Habsarim" that is recorded later in the Parsha actually took place 5 years before the commandment of Lech Lecha....
    Now ...listen carefully ...
the "Bris Bein Habsarim" took place in Eretz Yisroel ...as the Torah writes:
"lezaracha nesatee es Haaretz Hazois" "To your children I will give THIS land" so he must have been in Eretz Yisroel.

Avraham then went back to Charan and had the war with the kings (he was 74 during that juncture in time)  and then when he was 75 years old, Hashem appeared to him and commanded him "lech lecha."

So according to the Chizkunie, Avraham Aveenu already knew that his children would inherit Eretz Yisroel and  knew the location since he was already there, when Hashem told him "Lech Lecha" . So this must be the second time he left, but this time he was actually commanded to leave....
That's why some Rishoinim  say that  "Lech Lecha"  was not one of the harsher tests!  Rashi would actually agree with that since Hashem promised Avraham a Land, and a child .."lehanascha Ultoivascha"
    להנאתך ולטובתך

The Torah itself says that, in the very first verse .... that Lech Lecha is talking about Avraham leaving Charan and going to
    אל הארץ אשר אראך
"el haaretz asher arekah" .... "the land that I will show you":
Eretz Yisroel, ........;this was in fact Aliyah ...; the "baalei batim know and knew exactly what they were talking about, that this was a "means to an end".... That this commandment was specifically to make Aliyah!
The Malbim says that the reason that Hashem said "arekah" and not outright "Eretz Yisroel," so that Terech wouldn't come with him ...and therefore Hashem was vague, but Avraham certainly knew where he was going and he knew the location!

Now, not all Rishonim hold like this, they hold that Avraham didn't know where he was going. But then if the Bris Bein Habsarim already happened, how do they explain why Avraham Aveenu didn't know where he was going?

But be that as it may, the commandment "Lech Lecha was a call for Avraham to make Aliyah and the Religious Zionist have the words of the Torah to rely on, that Lech Lecha was a call for Aliyah with a capital "A"!

Every single child knows that Lech Lecha is a call for Avraham Aveenu to make Aliyah ...no one even argues this point, the only question that Rishonim debate is what the Nisayoin of Lech Lecha actually was, since Aliyah is a great thing, and having children was what he wanted!

    As a side note,
When Avraham questions Hashem at the Bris Bein Habsarim, after he was promised Eretz Yisroel, "Bemeh Eidah?"
    במה אדע כי אירשנה
"how will I know that I will inherit it?"
The Rabbeinu Bachyeh (15:8) writes that Avraham Aveenu was asking "how will I know that Hashem will keep the promise of giving my children Eretz Yisroel, even if they should sin?"
See the Chizkunie that writes that Avraham wanted Eretz Yisroel without any conditions ... he wanted his children to have Eretz Yisroel even if they are Chiloinie ...even if they don't keep all the Mitzvois ...

Then the Clown continues with his garbage bla bla bla  "Soloveitchik," bla bla "Baruch Ber" bla bla bla

Now let's address the Rambam in Avos (5:3) ...The Rambam doesn't' say "the exact opposite" you fool, he actually agrees that Hashem commanded Avraham to make Aliyah .... absolutely!
The Rambam and other struggle why this commandment was a "test" .....a Nisoyin?

The Rambam in Avos (5:3) enumerates the 10 tests that Avraham went thru and one of them was "lech lecha" but even though leaving his house was actually a good thing, because he was looking forward to the blessing of children ...and Eretz Yisroel, he was, according to the Rambam going thru hardships because he had to "wander" until he reached his ultimate goal which was Eretz Yisroel...and Hashem wanted him to do that, so that he would be able to have a positive influence on people on the way!

It's like someone who knows that he is going to Israel ..and is eager to get there ASAP, but until he gets there he has to suffer thru packing, inspections at the airport, he has to  actually board the plane and  suffer thru crying toddlers and 12 hours of flight! And then while he is flying he may have to  sit next to a chilonie and make a Kiddush Hashem, Chas Ve'sholem!
But getting there is a "means to an end!" It's a"nisayoin" but once you have the goal in mind it's much easier!

The Rambam does not say that this mitzvah wasn't "a means to an end" The Clown Frankfurter says that! ...
The Rambam just says that the reason it was a nisoyin is because Avraham's Aliyah came with some hardships!

Grubhub Stock Crashes because Trump supporters Boycott after CEO asks Supporters of Trump to quit company

Image: Grubhub CEO Asks Trump Supporters to Quit, Stock Implodes on Boycott
Matt Malony the "Chuchem fin dee Ma'Nistana"

Matt Maloney found a new way to destroy the wealth of investors in Grubhub Inc.: Urge supporters of President-elect Donald Trump to quit the company he leads as chief executive officer.
The company's stock dropped after Maloney's e-mail was leaked and triggered a boycott movement that swept through Twitter with the hashtag #boycottgrubhub. Twitter users speculated that Maloney may have violated his employees' rights by discriminating against their political views.

Maloney's leaked e-mail Wednesday said he rejects Trump's "nationalist, anti-immigrant and hateful politics" and that anyone who disagrees should immediately resign "because you have no place here."

He later backtracked, but the damage was done. The stock was down 5 percent by the end of Friday to a four-month low of $35.25 a share.
In a panicked tweet Thursday that was later deleted, Maloney said: "Grubhub does not tolerate hate and we are proud of all our employees — even those who voted for Trump."
Maloney later issued a statement saying his email advocated for inclusion and tolerance and that Grubhub doesn't discriminate based on political beliefs, according to the Associated Press.
Chicago-based Grubhub connects online customers with takeout restaurants in the U.S. and London.

Schumer backs Muslim Anti-Israel lawmaker for top Democratic Party post

    US Rep. Keith Ellison
Two top Jewish figures associated with the Democratic Party, Sens. Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer, are backing the candidacy of a Muslim, Rep. Keith Ellison of Minnesota, for the party chair.

Schumer, of New York, in line to be the next party leader in the Senate, is backing Ellison’s candidacy, according to anonymously sourced reports Friday in Politico and by NBC.

Sanders, an Independent from Vermont who this year became the first Jewish candidate to win major party nominating contests in his unsuccessful bid to win the Democratic presidential nomination, is also supporting Ellison, according to The Hill, which quoted Minnesota Public Radio.

On board for Ellison as well is Ilya Sheyman, the executive director of the liberal activist group MoveOn and a Jewish immigrant from the former Soviet Union, who emailed a statement of support to reporters.

Ellison, who has indicated he would be interested in the post but has yet to declare, has been a sharp critic of Israel, but also has reached out to pro-Israel groups.

He has organized letters urging pressure on Israel, and was an advocate of drawing lessons from the U.N. Goldstone Report following the 2009 Gaza War – a report Israel dismissed as irredeemably flawed and biased.

Visiting Gaza after the 2009 war with another Congress member, Ellison continued on his own to Israel so he could survey the cost of Palestinian attacks on Israelis. He has pressed Hamas, the terrorist group controlling Gaza, to release the bodies of slain Israeli soldiers at the behest of their families. He has a close working relationship with the Jewish community in Minneapolis.

Sanders named Ellison to the Democrats’ platform drafting committee this summer after the senator lost the party nomination to Hillary Clinton, who went on to lose the presidency to Donald Trump. Ellison and two other Sanders appointees argued forcefully for language that would criticize Israel for its West Bank occupation but were rebuffed.

Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, would replace Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., who resigned this summer under pressure after stolen DNC emails were published revealing the animus at top party levels against Sanders’ candidacy. Until then, she had been the top Jewish official in the party.

Wasserman Schultz was replaced temporarily by Donna Brazile, a longtime party activist.

“The Rebbe’s (Lubavitch) blessing worked and the Satmar endorsement didn’t.”

In the blue sea of New York City, where Hillary Clinton crushed Donald J. Trump in the election on Tuesday, there were still some districts — working-class areas in the southeast Bronx, Mr. Trump’s childhood neighborhood in Jamaica Estates, Queens, and most of Staten Island — that did not go Mrs. Clinton’s way.

But of all the outlying pockets of Trump supporters in New York, perhaps the most distinct lay six miles south of the Clinton campaign headquarters: the Orthodox Jewish community of Borough Park, a neighborhood in Brooklyn that would seem to have little in common with Middle America, where Mr. Trump drew most of his support.
With its Judaica stores, kosher pizza shops, men in traditional black coats and hats and women with long skirts, Borough Park is home to thousands of Orthodox and Hasidic Jews, belonging to a range of sects, including Bobover, Belz, Satmar, Ger and Viznitz.

The vast majority of voters in the neighborhood are registered Democrats, but they often vote Republican, and this year was no different. In Brooklyn’s 48th Assembly District, which encompasses most of Borough Park, Mr. Trump got 69 percent of the vote, while Mrs. Clinton got 27 percent.

Trump warns Obama: Don't force solution on Israel

    Image result for trump netanyahu
President-elect Donald Trump's aides reportedly warned President Barack Obama not to "even think about" trying to push for progress on the Israeli-Arab conflict between now and January 20.

Politico quoted a "national security adviser" of Trump's as saying Obama "shouldn't go seeking new adventures or pushing through policies that clearly don't match Trump's positions." This includes "efforts to bring peace to the Israelis and the Palestinians - even if those initiatives are symbolic at best...[Trump] has made it very clear he will support Israel and its preferences."

Several times, concerns were raised about how Obama would act after elections, and if he would push anti-Israel UN resolutions after he no longer had to worry about their effect on Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's campaign.

On Friday, Trump expressed hopes he would be able to create "the ultimate deal" that would end the "war that never ends" between Israel and the terrorist bodies within its borders. However, he also said any deal would need to be achieved through direct negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has consistently refused to negotiate with Israel until all of his preconditions are met, though he refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish countryand insists international bodies pressure Israel to give in to all PA demands.

Republicans Dominated The Senate Races, Except The Ones Who Dumped Trump

    GOPe Chasing Trump
Republicans had excellent results in Tuesday’s high-stakes Senate races, winning numerous tough battles to preserve their majority in the chamber for the next two years.
But THE DAILY CALLER points out that Tuesday’s results revealed an interesting dynamic:
The Republican Senate candidates who rejected President-elect Donald Trump and tried to go it alone were the only ones who ended up losing their races.
Overall, there were eight Republican-held seats and one Democrat-held seat that were competitive going into Tuesday night: Illinois, Wisconsin, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Florida, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Missouri.
Of the nine Republicans in these competitive races, six of them stood by Trump or, in the case of Pennsylvania’s Pat Toomey, didn’t reject him.
Three of them, though, explicitly rejected Trump: Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire, Mark Kirk in Illinois, and Joe Heck in Nevada.
    The final results are telling:
The three candidates who rejected Trump all lost, while the rest triumphed.

The unbearable smugness of the press

    Picture
The mood in the Washington press corps is bleak, and deservedly so.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that, with a few exceptions, we were all tacitly or explicitly #WithHer, which has led to a certain anguish in the face of Donald Trump’s victory. More than that and more importantly, we also missed the story, after having spent months mocking the people who had a better sense of what was going on.
This is all symptomatic of modern journalism’s great moral and intellectual failing: its unbearable smugness. Had Hillary Clinton won, there’s be a winking “we did it” feeling in the press, a sense that we were brave and called Trump a liar and saved the republic.

So much for that. The audience for our glib analysis and contempt for much of the electorate, it turned out, was rather limited. This was particularly true when it came to voters, the ones who turned out by the millions to deliver not only a rebuke to the political system but also the people who cover it. Trump knew what he was doingwhen he invited his crowds to jeer and hiss the reporters covering him. They hate us, and have for some time.
And can you blame them? Journalists love mocking Trump supporters. We insult their appearances. We dismiss them as racists and sexists. We emote on Twitter about how this or that comment or policy makes us feel one way or the other, and yet we reject their feelings as invalid.

Reform Jews suffered a bitter blow with Trump's election

Shas leader and Interior Minister Aryeh Deri welcomed the results of the American elections Thursday and said that the Reform Jews in America had suffered a "bitter blow".

"It is too early to discuss the possible repercussions of Trumps' election as president," said Interior Minister Deri, "but there is no doubt that we should thank God that all the desecrators of the covenant and impersonators of Judaism who wished to take control of the Land of Israel and introduce their destructive reforms- received a significant blow.

"Their influence and threat came from their connection to the administration in America, they realize that they have lost this power and we can, God willing, continue to strengthen the traditional religion which we received from previous generations.

"Many Jews said over the last few days that if such a miracle happens, it must be the days prior to the advent of the Messiah. We must truly be in Messianic times when everything will turn out favorably for the people of Israel."

'Trump does not view Jewish settlement as an obstacle to peace'

Jason Greenblatt, one of US President-elect Donald Trump’s close advisors, spoke with Army Radio this morning about Trump’s future stances with respect to the Jewish State.
In the interview, Greenblatt said that Trump “does not view the settlements as being an obstacle to peace. I think he would show [the expulsion of Jewish communities in Gaza, which didn’t bring peace] as proof of that. The two sides are going to have to decide how to deal with that region, but it is certainly not Mr. Trump’s view that settlement activity should be condemned and that it is an obstacle for peace - because it is not the obstacle for peace.”

Greenblatt said that Trump would not impose a “peace process” on Israel. “He thinks that Israel is in a very tough situation and needs to [do what it has to in order] to defend itself. He is not going to impose any solution on Israel. He thinks that the peace has to come from the parties themselves.”

When asked how he knew that Trump would keep his word on moving the American embassy to Jerusalem, Greenblatt noted: “He said that he’s going to do it. He’s different for Israel than any recent President has been and I think that he’s a man who keeps his word. He recognizes the historical significance of the Jewish people to Jerusalem unlike, let’s say, UNESCO.”

New York magazine's Disgusting Cover of Trump!

The "Loser" seems to be New York Magazine, with its premature cover, thinking Hillary would win!

    Newsweek misfires with Clinton cover

I thought they were out of business!!!!

A national recall went out Wednesday for the special “Madame President” issue of Newsweek that was prematurely shipped to stores and newsstands across the country.
At the same time, the publisher of the magazine will rush the “President Trump” version of the commemorative issue to press on Thursday — so it will get to stores next week.
“Like everybody else, we got it wrong,” said Tony Romando, CEO of Topix Media, the Newsweek partner which produces special issues under the popular brand.

Both a Clinton and a Trump commemorative issue were designed and laid out in advance, but Topix Media, believing late last week that Clinton was likely to win, shipped only the Clinton issue.
The magazine hit stores Tuesday. While retailers were told not to put issues on sale prior to the election, a handful did.
Romando claims only 17 Clinton magazines were sold — out of 125,000 printed and shipped.
“All wholesalers and retailers have been asked to return any issues they have as we need to clear room for [150,000 copies of] the President Trump issue,” Romando said. “We expect it to sell very well as there is obviously a great demand.”
The Barnes & Noble on Union Square that was selling “Madam President” issues Tuesday had none on their shelves Wednesday, according to a clerk in the magazine section, who told The Post he didn’t know if they sold out or were pulled.
Romando said he plans to print more copies of the Trump version because the upset victory would lead to bigger sales.

So much for the Trump slump! Dow hits closing record high as stocks soar and the dollar makes its largest gains since Brexit

    Image result for stocks
Wall Street reached record highs on Wednesday as the markets strengthened and currencies rose after being initially threatened by Donald Trump's election win.

The Dow index closed on 18,586 after rising more than 250 points in what experts described as the biggest market turnaround since the 2008 global financial crisis.

It reached a record high of 18,650 in the afternoon as the dust settled after Tuesday's election result.

The S&P 500 recorded a one month high at around 12pm, the exact time Hillary Clinton delivered her concession speech, and the Nasdaq index also strengthened.
The dollar clawed back its earlier two percent loss after being abandoned by investors who flocked to safe haven currencies including the Japanese Yen and the Euro overnight.

By 1pm on Wednesday, it had reached its highest gain since Brexit, climbing by 1.1 percent in a Bloomberg gauge.
While most other global markets were shaken by overnight losses, Russia was one of the few which showed soaring stock rates.

Aron Weider loses Assembly Seat, Kiryas Yoel's Biggest Nightmare!

    Karl Brabenec and Aron Wieder

    98th Assembly District

Republican Karl Brabenec overcame a challenge by Democrat Aron Wieder for the 98th state Assembly District seat.
Brabenec, of Deerpark, beat out Wieder with 59 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results from the state Board of Elections. Brabenec was originally elected to the seat in 2014.
Weider, of Spring Valley, appeared on six different ballot lines, and managed to wrest the Conservative line away from Brabenec through a write-in challenge.
Among the top issues in the district, which includes portions of Rockland and Orange counties, was Kiryas Joel’s annexation of land from the Town of Monroe.
Brabenec opposed Kiryas Joel’s move to increase in size, and favored a proposal to create a town of North Monroe that lets both municipalities decide their futures. Wieder, who is former vice president and president of the East Ramapo school board, said the courts should decide — they have so far ruled in favor of the annexation.
The 98th Assembly district includes parts of the villages of Spring Valley, Montebello, Wesley Hills, Monsey and Kaser, and all of the village of Sloatsburg, as well as the Orange County towns of Monroe, Tuxedo, Warwick, Minisink, Greenville and Deerpark.

Trump a True Friend of Israel

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu congratulated Donald Trump on Wednesday, following his victory in Tuesday’s election.

Netanyahu, who assiduously avoided commenting on the race prior to the vote, called Trump "a true friend” of Israel.

Following criticism by left-leaning media outlets that he had appeared to side with Mitt Romney in 2012, the Prime Minister remained mum on this year’s election, going so far as to order government ministers not to make public statements on the issue.

Netanyahu said he looked forward to working with the 45th President of the United States, adding that the bond between the US and Israel was “ironclad.”

"President-elect Trump is a true friend of the state of Israel, and I look forward to working with him to advance security, stability and peace in our region," Netanyahu said.
"The ironclad bond between the United States and Israel is rooted in shared values, buttressed by shared interests and driven by a shared destiny.”
"I am confident that president-elect Trump and I will continue to strengthen the unique alliance between our two countries and bring it to ever greater heights."
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin also reacted to the news of Trump’s election, congratulating him – and warning him of the challenges he will face once in office.

“I want to congratulate President elect Donald Trump, his family, and all the American people who have once again showed the world it is the greatest democracy.”
“There are many challenges that lie before you as president - at home and around the world. Israel, your greatest ally, stands by you as your friend and partner in turning those challenges into opportunities.”
Rivlin then offered a blessing for the new President-elect, and a wish for increased cooperation between Israel and the US.

“I hope together Israelis and Americans can grow our innovation and cooperation, which are the fruits of liberty, and equality. God bless you Mr. President.”
