The Yenukah Knows how to make money .......
We arrived this morning on Tuesday in Rishon Lezion to pray at Yeinoka's.
After davening, one of the gabbaim takes the microphone and announces the opening of the Aron Kodesh!
The opening of the Aron Kodesh?? Isn't today Tuesday, and not Monday, not Thursday, not Shabbat or Rosh Chodesh, what kind of opening of the Aron Kodesh?
I didn't understand what was happening there.
In the meantime, people in tshul are starting to throw sums away at this auction of who will be the lucky guy to open the Aron Koidesh!
2000 3000 5000 10000 until the lucky man in the picture bought it for 12,000 shekels.
The narrator goes on to say, they say about a certain Rebbe that knows how to make money and about another Rebbe that he knows how to make money, etc.,
They should come here to Rishon Lezion and see how a person made 12,000 shekels even before he opened his eyes...
On a day that no one opens the Aron Koidesh!
Clueless Rabbi R' Dovid Shaffer Sparks Outrage in Israel for taking 90 Bochrim to Lizhensk During a WAR
Footage circulated on Monday on social media has reignited the public debate over the conscription of charedim into the Israeli army and sparked anger among reservists.
In the video, published on the charedi channel “HaPargod”, the head of the Orayta Yeshiva, Rabbi David Shaffer, is seen raising a glass in a “L’chaim” toast at Ben Gurion Airport after successfully putting about 90 yeshiva students on a flight for the traditional trip to the tomb of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk in Poland for his Yahrzeit during the ongoing war.
Following the publication, criticism erupted on social media. Dozens of users, including reservists, strongly criticized both the trip itself and its timing during wartime, arguing that it highlights the sense of inequality in the burden between those serving in the military and parts of the public who do not participate in the fighting.
Bereaved mother Lily Dery responded by posting Rabbi Elimelech’s prayer “Aderaba”, which includes the line:“And let no hatred arise from one person toward another, Heaven forbid,” adding the comment: “Those who understand will understand.”
Communications adviser Dvir Luzon, who is currently serving in the reserves, wrote:
“I was called up to reserve duty. I left at home a wife who is still recovering from childbirth and a one-month-old baby, and I have no idea when I’ll see them again.”
He added: “But the main thing is that Rabbi David Shefer flew 90 guys abroad for a vacation. While we’re suffocating from longing and our wives are collapsing alone, there are those living in a movie and hanging out in duty-free. It’s a spit in the face of every reservist. Simply disgraceful.”
Comedian Matan Tzur also reacted to the publication, writing:“This fracture, one that parts of the charedi sector are creating with their own hands, I don’t know how we will fix it.”

Two Israeli Americans were assaulted outside a restaurant in San Jose while speaking Hebrew, in what authorities are investigating as a possible hate crime, according to reporting by Jewish News of Northern California.
The attack occurred Sunday afternoon at Santana Row, a busy shopping and dining district. The victims, identified as Lior Zeevi, 47, and Daniel Levy, 48, said three men approached them and began punching them repeatedly. One of the victims was briefly knocked unconscious. Both were taken to a hospital for treatment and later released.
Video of the incident circulating online appears to show two men striking one victim while he lies on the ground and a third moving toward the second victim before the group fled. Witnesses reportedly shouted for the attackers to stop, the news outlet reported.

The San Jose Police Department Assaults Unit is investigating the incident as a possible hate crime. “The investigation is active and ongoing,” police said.
San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan condemned the assault, calling it “deeply disturbing.” He said, “Antisemitism and any acts of hatred have no place in San Jose. Being able to talk about our differences and celebrate them is what makes us the safest big city in America. I have been in touch with our police department and leaders in the local Jewish community regarding this deeply disturbing incident and will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
Congressman Ro Khanna, whose district includes Santana Row, also condemned the attack. “The assault on Israeli Americans in San Jose while speaking Hebrew is horrific,” he tweeted. “This kind of antisemitism has no place in our community. I unequivocally condemn these attacks. The assailants must be held accountable and prosecuted.”
The attack comes amid heightened security concerns for Jewish communities, according to the Secure Community Network. Witnesses recorded portions of the attack and shared footage with investigators. Security personnel from Santana Row also responded shortly after the attackers fled.
Community groups including the Anti-Defamation League said they are coordinating with law enforcement as the investigation continues.

Iran says that they are targeting Bnei-Brak because of the "hidden launchers in Bnei Brak"
| The scene of a missile strike in Bnei Brak |
The Iranian regime's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported on Tuesday that in a recent barrage, missiles were launched at American staging areas in Bahrain and the UAE, as well as "hidden missile launchers in Bnei Brak."
The odd claim, which was reported by Kan News Middle East correspondent Roi Kais, was included in a summary of the 34th missile barrage launched in the war.
According to the statement, in the barrage, the IRGC launched Ghadr, Emad, Fattah missiles, as well as hypersonic Kheibar missiles.
It also claimed that the missiles were aimed at "staging areas for American soldiers" at Al Dhafra Airbase in the UAE and the Al Juffair naval base in Bahrain, as well as targets in Israel, including Ramat David Airbase and the civilian airfield in Haifa.
Kais explained that the purpose of the Iranian statement was seemingly to justify strikes on civilian population centers.
