Sid Rosenberg calls Satmar Mamzarani a "Cockroach"
New York City Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani said at a press briefing that the language used by WABC host Sid Rosenberg, who called him a “radical Islam cockroach,” was “painfully familiar” and “difficult to hear.”
“I am not ashamed of who I am and I am not ashamed of my faith,” Mamdani added.
So some reporter brought me up at the Mayor’s briefing today & Zohran got all emotional.Give me a break! How about demonizing the Intifada? How about recognizing Israel as a Jewish state? How about not placing blame on the Shuls but rather the Pro Hamas animals? I have more! pic.twitter.com/zT2rNungDv

It’s more painful to watch a man who refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish state, doesn’t demonize the Intifada, wants to arrest Bibi! Blames shuls rather than Pro Hamas rioters, elevates Mahmoud Khalil, loves America hater Hasan Piker….should I keep going Craig? He can save… https://t.co/8D4FWQ0stF

The "DEAD" Mojtaba Khamenei Reportedly Chosen as Iran’s Next Supreme Leader
Iran’s Assembly of Experts has selected Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, as the country’s next supreme leader following his father’s reported death in U.S.-Israeli strikes, according to Iran International.
The report said the decision was made under heavy pressure from Iran’s powerful Revolutionary Guard.
Mojtaba Khamenei, 56, has long been viewed by analysts as a behind-the-scenes figure with influence in political and security circles, though he has not held a formal government post. His elevation would mark a significant and controversial shift in Iran’s leadership structure, consolidating authority within the family of the longtime leader.
The Assembly of Experts, an 88-member clerical body tasked under Iran’s constitution with selecting and overseeing the supreme leader, reportedly conducted the vote amid heightened security concerns. According to the report, members did not gather in a single location due to fears of targeted attacks, and ballots were counted at the body’s building in Qom.
There was no immediate official confirmation from Iranian state media.
The reported selection comes at a time of heightened tensions in the region and uncertainty over Iran’s political future following the reported killing of Ali Khamenei.

The Israeli Air Force carried out a strike earlier today on what the military describes as a covert Iranian nuclear facility located on the outskirts of Tehran.
Kurdish Uprising In Iran May Begin Within Days
President Donald Trump himself hinted at the effort in an interview with Politico on Tuesday. Asked whether it was too late to consider working with figures in a new Iranian government, Trump replied: "No, it's not too late. Forty-nine were killed, don't forget, so it's pretty deep, right? New ones are emerging. A lot of people want the job. Some of them will be very good."
Iran's regime relies on two separate military arms: the regular army, tasked with defending the country's borders, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a parallel force established after the 1979 Islamic Revolution as a counterweight to the army, which at the time was considered loyal to the shah. The Revolutionary Guard answers directly to Supreme Leader rather than to the elected president and also controls the Basij militia, the regime's primary tool for suppressing protests. The hope among those backing the plan is that the regular army will prove more committed to Iran as a state and, in a moment of crisis, act against the ideological establishment led by Revolutionary Guard commanders and the clerical leadership.

Incredible: Israel hacked Tehran traffic cameras to track Khamenei ahead of assassination
Israel hacked into Tehran’s extensive traffic camera network in order to track the bodyguards of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top Iranian officials ahead of Saturday’s assassination of the supreme leader, the Financial Times reported on Monday, citing two people familiar with the matter.
Iran’s cameras are believed to be part of the state’s surveillance apparatus, allowing authorities to identify and pursue protesters and regime opponents. But the Mossad, Israel’s spy agency, was able to co-opt the network for use against the regime, the report said.
The FT said Israel gained access to the cameras years ago, and found that one particular camera was angled in such a way that it showed where members of Khamenei’s security team parked their cars.
Through the cameras, Israeli intelligence built files on the guards’ addresses, work schedules, and who they were assigned to protect.
On the day of the attack, Israel and the US also disrupted cellular service on Tehran’s Pasteur Street, where Khamenei was assassinated, so those trying to reach the bodyguards and deliver possible warnings would receive busy signals, per the report.
“We knew Tehran like we know Jerusalem,” an Israeli intelligence official told the Financial Times. “And when you know [a place] as well as you know the street you grew up on, you notice a single thing that’s out of place.”
Israel used AI tools and algorithms it had developed to sort through mountains of data it was amassing on Iran’s leadership and their movements, according to an official who spoke with the British daily, which said the bulk of the work was performed by the IDF’s Unit 8200.
The massive data mining operation allowed the military to track Khamenei to the Saturday meeting where he was struck, and assured Mossad and the CIA that senior officials were on their way to the meeting.
The CIA also had a human source who provided key intelligence, according to the sources. No further details were provided.
Khamenei, who had led the Islamic Republic since 1989, was killed in an Israeli airstrike Saturday morning during the opening salvo of the US-Israeli campaign that has hammered Iran in the days since. Iran has said it will convene its Assembly of Experts as soon as it can to name a successor.
The New York Times reported on Monday that the US and Israel were intending to open the war against Iran on Friday night, hitting Tehran under the cover of darkness, but delayed the first strikes until Saturday morning because of intelligence that enabled the elimination of Khamenei.
“The timing was ultimately determined by a remarkable intelligence coup,” said the newspaper, in an extensive report that chronicled US President Donald Trump’s decision to go to war. “The CIA, which had been closely tracking Ayatollah Khamenei’s movements, learned that the supreme leader was planning to be at his residential compound in central Tehran on Saturday morning. Senior Iranian civilian and military leaders were also set to convene at the same location, at the same time. The CIA passed the intelligence to the Israelis, and leaders of both countries decided to kick off the war with a bold ‘decapitation’ strike in daylight.”
It said Trump gave “the official go order” as he flew to Corpus Christi on Friday afternoon to deliver a speech about energy.
