Is the USA finally tiring of its support for Ukraine?

After long months of displaying unquestioning support for Ukraine in its war with Russia, the tide appears to be turning in the United States, with senior members of the Biden administration informing Ukrainian leaders that they risk losing support unless they signal willingness to negotiate with Russia.

White House sources told The Washington Post that the intention is not to pressure Ukraine to hold talks with Russia, but rather to ensure that Ukraine's stance is not perceived as entirely inflexible, which could potentially lead European countries to cut back on the weapons aid they are sending to Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has apparently ruled out direct talks with Russian President Putin, justifying his approach by claiming that one cannot negotiate with Putin in good faith. However, the door remains open to lower-level officials holding negotiations.

“Ukraine fatigue is a real thing for some of our partners,” an unnamed US official told The Washington Post. Skyrocketing fuel prices across Europe have indeed led to calls to scale back the massive support being provided to Ukraine. Several countries have already begun rationing electricity and passing legislation restricting electricity use.

Several countries have already begun rationing electricity and passing legislation restricting electricity use.

Approached for comment, a spokesman for the US state department said: “We’ve said it before and will say it again: Actions speak louder than words. If Russia is ready for negotiation, it should stop its bombs and missiles and withdraw its forces from Ukraine.

“The Kremlin continues to escalate this war,” he added. “The Kremlin has demonstrated its unwillingness to seriously engage in negotiations since even before it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.”

On Sunday, President Zelensky spoke with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss continued financial aid and penalties he wishes to see applied against Iran, which, he alleges, is supplying drones to Russia to be used in the war.

Taylor Swift adds Orthodox-friendly dates to her upcoming tour

“You’re On Your Own, Kid,” isn’t just the name of a track on Taylor Swift’s newest album — the phrase describes the way many of the pop star’s Jewish fans were feeling after she released the dates for her upcoming tour.

This week, Shabbat-observant Swifties voiced their disappointment with the dates, which were all slated for during or just after the end of the Jewish Sabbath, on Friday or Saturday nights. (There was one scheduled for April 2, a Sunday, in Arlington, Texas.)

In response, Swift added eight more shows to the U.S. leg of her tour on Friday, all on weeknights, in cities such as Philadelphia, Seattle and Los Angeles. Many applauded the additions.

Swift’s “Midnights” album sold over a million copies in its first week, and she is now tied with Barbra Streisand as the female artist with the most albums to top the Billboard chart. The singer will take the Jewish Haim sisters, who feature in the music video for Swift’s song “Bejeweled,” along for part of the tour.

The ad reads that the car has special "segulois"

Question: If the car has indeed "segilois" why is the Rebbe selling it?

Skver sends out "Sample Ballot" With "Krazy Kat" Hochul and her perverts HIGHLIGHTED

This is the sneaky method that the Skverer Regime uses to get their stupid naive sheep to vote for who they choose!

The candidates that Skver highlighted are all against Torah values!

Know that Skver has signs that instruct their residents on which side they may walk on; men on one side and only women on the other.

For these "narishkeitin" they are machmir, but when it comes to the mighty $$$$, they will abandon the entire torah and have their residents vote for sick perverts and candidates that are pro-crime.

Finally, Israelis voted to win back the country and the sanctity of their Jewish heritage

The sum of it is that one morning the Israelis woke up to realize, in a flash of awareness, that the country was stealthily being taken from them.

The moment of clarity turned them handily to the Right, topped by Netanyahu. Better yet, call it a moment of sanity.

This was like coming to your senses after a hangover…or awakening in a rush from the malaise of the past few years, the years of Bennett, Gantz, and Lapid.

Maloney Tries to Bribe Satmar Vote with $94 Million in Federal Funds

Reminds of the story with Winston Churchil. He was walking down the street and saw a "call girl" and offered her $10 for her services, insulted she asked, "Only $10, what do you think I am, a whore?" to that he answered, "that has already been determined, the question now, is only the price."

Democrat Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney, who is frantically struggling to win a tough race, is trying to persuade Chassidim to vote for him.

Maloney, a top Democrat House leader, is essentially trying to pump $94 million in federal funding into Kiryas Yoel.

In a letter obtained by The Washington Times, Maloney asked NY state officials to forgive the Satmar community’s debt for a huge water project.

The letter urged the New York Health Department to use funds from the Biden infrastructure law to forgive the debt incurred for a $94 million water project.

Maloney is currently engaged in a heated battle against Republican Mike Lawler in NY-17. Lawler has been a close friend of the Jewish community in Monsey.

Maloney chairs the House Democrats’ campaign operation, which would make a loss particularly humiliating.

Kiryas Yoel could deliver roughly 10,000 votes in Tuesday’s elections. The Satmar Rebbe, Rav Aharon Teitelbaum, has already endorsed Governor Hochul.

The town is completing a 13.5-mile pipeline project to connect itself to New York City’s Catskill Aqueduct for a long-term water supply.

“Their project is extremely important to the residents of the Village and has the potential to help multiple communities in the region better access reliable drinking water,” the letter said. “We ask for your firm commitment that New York State will give full and fair consideration of these requests which will expand access to clean and reliable drinking water in the Hudson Valley.”

The NY-17 race is so crucial to the Democrats, even President Biden has stepped in for assistance. About two weeks ago, President Biden personally called the Skverer Rebbe and asked him for the support of his chasidim in the coming midterm elections, specifically for Sean Patrick Maloney.
