An elderly Jewish bus driver was brutally beaten Thursday morning by a group of teens in the Boro Park area of New York, the Yeshiva World News reported.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:00a.m., in a parking lot on 49ths Street, New York's Police Department (NYPD) and the Shomrim security group said.
In the incident, the teens confronted the 70-year-old bus driver as he entered his vehicle, assaulting, punching, and kicking him before escaping the scene. According to The Jewish Press, the teens hit the elderly man in the face, stomach, and on his arms.
This elderly bus driver arriving to his bus for his morning run, was viciously assaulted in what appears to be an unprovoked coordinated attack. If you #HaveInfo, call @NYPD66Pct detectives and the #Shomrim emergency line 718-871-6666. #YourCityYourCall pic.twitter.com/nkY96HLmNY

First the Rabbis of Ukraine Advised them to stay put and now Odessa orphanage trying to evacuate
The Jewish community in Odessa, Ukraine, was one of the first to suffer from the Russian attack, including the 250 children living in the city's orphanage.
Rabbi Shlomo Baksht, director of the orphanage, told 103FM about the situation. "We have a lot of worries right now. I'm in touch with all the members of the community. We do not know what will happen next, but these children are the rock that sits on our hearts. We have children here with a very difficult story. A child whose mother threw him in the trash or a child with parents who were addicts. The stories are shocking and they are all close to our hearts."
Regarding the efforts to take the orphans to a safe place, he explained, "Right now we have them all on buses but do not know where we are going. The operation is complex and not completely safe. We have prepared food and medicine for a long enough period, and different types of places of refuge. We change things while on the move, everything happens from moment to moment. Things are very complex. We are in contact with the relevant parties in the State of Israel at the highest level."
His daughter, Shira Baksht, who works with him, joined the conversation and shared her experiences with the children: "The situation is not simple. We try to calm the children - they heard explosions and were frightened. We told them we are going on a trip. I will never leave them. These are children from the age of 0 until university. Orphanhood can happen at any age."
She added, "For a month now we have been preparing logistically for what is happening now. It is very cold here, so we took the warmest clothes we could and all the food we could prepare."
Israel was created so that never again would Jews be dependent on anyone else for their security. Not on the UN, the US, or NATO
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett avoided condemning the Russian invasion of Ukraine — or even mentioning Russia by name - saying “The world order as we know it is changing. The world is much less stable, and our region too is changing every day.”
And while the world has changed, Ukraine is fighting alone. Not America and not NATO will be coming to their rescue. Against this backdrop, surely many realize that Israel was created so that never again would Jews be dependent on anyone else for their security.
US Pressuring Israel: Support vote to condemn Russia in UN
What a Chutzpah! Russia is a couple of miles away from our border in Syria, and the awful Biden Administration is pressuring us to vote against the Russians. Crazy! I hope Bennett doesn't cave and bring us into another mess. Meanwhile Russia allows Israel to bomb the crap out of Hizballah in Syria!
The United Nations (UN) Security Council will vote on Friday on a draft resolution to condemn Russia for its attacks on Ukraine.
The resolution was drafted by the US, Britain, and France. It is expected that Russia will use its veto power to ensure that the resolution does not pass.
Meanwhile, the US has turned to Israel requesting that Israel support condemning Russia in the UN, even though the resolution will clearly not pass.
The American request was made Thursday night by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid (Yesh Atid).
Israel, meanwhile is trying to stay out of the matter and avoid direct conflict with the Russians, since the Russians are involved in the Syrian conflict and have played a key role in preventing Syria from retaliating to Israeli attacks on Iranian interests within Syrian territory.
John Kerry "the stupid fool" Worries That Russia-Ukraine War Is Bad for Climate Change..No Kidding!
He definitely has his priorities. US climate czar John Kerry said that he is very worried about a Russian invasion of Ukraine because it is likely to distract the world from talking about climate change and would produce “massive emissions.”
“Massive emissions and consequences to the way – but equally important, you’re going to lose people’s focus, you’re going to lose certainly big country attention because they will be diverted and I think it could have a damaging impact,” told the BBC.
“So, you know, I think hopefully President Putin would realize that in the northern part of his country, they used to live on 66% of the nation that was over frozen land. Now it’s thawing, and his infrastructure is at risk. And the people of Russia are at risk. And so I hope President Putin will help us to stay on track with respect to what we need to do for the climate,” he added.
Kerry’s comments weren’t a one-off, either. He made similar comments to GZERO Media, saying that a war will have a “monumental impact on the ability and willingness of people to do what’s necessary,” to cut global emissions, adding that it will be “very tough for the climate agenda, there’s no question about it.”
Hard to believe, but Vladimir Putin was indeed probably not thinking of the climate when he decided to invade Ukraine. For shame.

Sfardie "gadol" destroys smartphone in a ceremony.... Chareidim slowly becoming "Cults"
Satmar Chassidim Reading Der Yid Will Never Know that the USA is Going Back to the Iran Deal that could G-d Forbid Destroy the Jewish State
This latest news was on the front pages of every single newspaper sharing headlines with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
But the Satmar "oilim goilim" that get their news from Der Yid will never know about the eminent danger that their brothers and sisters living in Israel are facing.
Instead, Der Yid has a byline on their first page of a protest against the "Misrad Hashichon" the Office of Housing, because they are excavating land in the Gilo section of Yerushalyim, that the Gaavad of the Eida Hachreidis said is an ancient graveyard of Jews. The Gaavad is none other than the aged R' Tuvia Weiss. We will never know if the Gaavad even knows about this or if he is in the frame of mind to issue Halachic decisions of this nature. The Raavad of the Eida is R' Moshe Shternbach, also an extremist but he had examined the site and ruled that there is no problem excavating the site.
In Beit Shemesh we had a similar fight amongst the leaders of the Eida Ha'Chreidis, where R' Weiss ruled that a site where a developer built a Chareidie community is a former gravesite, and R' Shternbach who actually examined the site ruled that there wasn't any Jewish bones buried there, and the developer built his development.
Back to Der Yid
Why wouldn't Der Yid report the Iran story?
Because Satmar supports the Iran Deal! Yes, let me repeat : The Satmar Rebbe is all for the Iran Deal that would allow Iran to continue their murderous quest of obtaining Nuclear arms. We wrote about this numerous times; you can do a search on this blog.
They would rather write about some idiotic irrelevant protest and place it on their front page than write about something that can very well effect every single Jew!
Last week we all heard the Baal Korah read how the "Eirav Rav" fashioned and then worshipped a golden calf. I guess Moshe didn't kill them off, they are still around!
The Jews of Uman aren't leaving
Despite the threat of Russian strikes in Ukraine's interior, the Jews of Uman are not planning to leave.
The local boys' school, under the auspices of Uman's rabbi, Rabbi Yaakov Jann, is holding regular classes; meanwhile, constant prayers are being offered at the gravesite of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, situated in Uman.
Already a week and a half ago, Rabbi Jann called on local Jews to leave Ukraine if they were able to do so.
"Answering this question of all questions at the current time - that of whether to leave or remain - is not simple," Rabbi Jann wrote then. "What is clear, however, is that we must neither panic nor remain complacent.
"After consulting with Torah leaders and experts in the situation," Rabbi Jann continued, "I am recommending that all tourists must leave Ukraine by Wednesday [over a week ago]. Those who live here with their families should also leave if they are able to do so with ease, until the crisis passes."
Rabbi Jann concluded his letter with reassurance that no one would be left without necessary assistance. A week later, most of Uman's Jews have opted to remain.
'Unorthodox' spending Julia Haart sued for millions, allegedly used company as 'personal piggy bank'
“My Unorthodox Life” star Julia Haart is being sued for allegedly spending unauthorized millions of dollars of company cash by her estranged husband Silvio Scaglia.
Haart, 51, who was ousted as CEO of Elite World Group earlier this month, is alleged to have spent $125,000 on “cosmetic procedures” —including a boob job, as Page Six reported — according to court papers.
The filing, seen by Page Six, also claims that Haart used the company set up to run her clothing line, E1972, as her “personal piggy bank.”
It alleges that she spent approximately $500,000 at Louis Vuitton, $180,000 at Chanel, $140,000 at Dior and more than $500,000 on lavish trips for herself and her family, plus more than $160,000 on makeup and hair-styling services.
The suit alleges that Haart overspent on the budget allocated to her for personal expenses, claiming: “In addition to exceeding E1972’s budget by millions of dollars due to her personal spending habits, Haart also freely used two EWG corporate credit cards to purchase expensive clothing and handbags, luxury vacations, and other personal and unnecessary purchases.”
