Hunter Biden finally admits laptop could ‘certainly’ belong to him

 

Hunter Biden has finally ‘fessed up that the laptop at the center of The Post’s explosive exposé last year “certainly” could belong to him, he revealed in an interview Friday.

In a sitdown with CBS’s “Sunday Morning,” President Biden’s embattled son was pointedly asked “yes or no” if the MacBook Pro that was dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 was in fact his. 

“I really don’t know what the answer is, that’s the truthful answer,” Hunter Biden said in an excerpt of the interview released on Friday, before adding, “I have no idea.”

But asked whether it could have belonged to him, he replied, “Certainly.”

“Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me. It could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence. It could be that it was stolen from me,” he continued.

Hunter Biden made the rare media appearance while promoting his new memoir, “Beautiful Things,” out April 6 from Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

In the final months of the heated 2020 presidential race, The Post revealed a trove of emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop that raised questions about his then-candidate father’s ties to his son’s foreign business ventures, including Burisma, a Ukrainian natural gas company linked to corruption.

AOC one of the least effective members of Congress

 

She’s the queen of Twitter — but less successful at lawmaking.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was among the least effective members of the last Congress according to a new survey from the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking — a joint project of Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia.

AOC introduced a total of 21 bills which the center defined as “substantive” — but that is where the story ends. Her legislation received no action in committees, no floor votes, and none ever became law, according to the center, which takes its data from Congress.gov.

“She introduced a lot of bills, but she was not successful at having them receive any sort of action in committee or beyond committee and if they can’t get through committee they cannot pass the House,” Alan Wiseman, a Vanderbilt political scientist and co-director of the center, told The Post.

“It’s clear that she was trying to get her legislative agenda moving and engage with the lawmaking process,” Wiseman added “But she wasn’t as successful as some other members were — even among [other] freshmen — at getting people to pay attention to her legislation.”

When looking at the legislative effectiveness of all congressional Democrats, AOC was ranked 230th out of 240 Democrats. Among the 19 Dem lawmakers from New York state, she ranked dead last.

 Bravo’s Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi is lecturing parents on the subject of transgender children, saying they “have no business being a parent” unless they accept a child’s declared gender identity.

She also claimed that a transgender person’s gender expression can “vary day to day” and that trans people have existed “since the dawn of humanity.”

Padma Lakshmi launched her social media lecture Wednesday in an apparent nod to the Transgender Day of Visibility. “If you can’t accept your child for who they’re telling you they are, then you have no business being a parent,” she tweeted.

Man allegedly uses honey to attack allergic former wife

 

A man from Ramat Gan is standing trial for allegedly vandalizing his former wife's car with honey.

Authorities say that beyond inflicting damage, he may have also jeoperdized her health as she is allergic to honey and according to her own testimony, this could have led to her death.

The woman reported the damage to the police after seeing the damage to her car, which included flattened tires and a mirror covered with honey. She also saw that he had engraved on the doors 'Hitler' and reported threatening text messages from her former husband. These messages included the following: "I hope your current husband batters you all your life," "I hope you get infected with coronavirus and be severly ill so that all the bad things you have caused my family will hit you back."

The man, who is in his thirties, was arrested and will stay in custody throughout his trial.
