Saeb Erekat of the Palestine Liberation Org Dropped Dead in Hadassah Ein Kerem
Saeb Erekat, the Secretary-General of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the top negotiator for the Palestinian Authority, died Tuesday morning. He was 65.
"Saeb Erekat passed away in the hospital's intensive care unit," Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital said in a statement Tuesday.
"Mr. Erekat, who was transferred to the hospital three weeks ago Sunday, on 18 October, was a lung transplantee infected with coronavirus. He was treated in his home in Jericho and arrived at the hospital in critical condition, requiring immediate ventilation and resuscitation treatments."
"During the course of his hospitalization, he received intensive treatments that included a heart lung machine (ECMO) and drug treatments provided by Hadassah's top specialists."
"Unfortunately, his condition did not improve and remained critical, and he passed away following multi-organ failure."
Erekat was rushed to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem last month, after he was infected with the coronavirus.
John McCain's widow Cindy joins "The Swamp" advisory board of Joe Biden's transition team
The widow of late Republican senator John McCain, who is the one who delivered the notorious fake "Steele Report" to congress, has joined the transition team of incoming Democrat president-elect Joe Biden.
Cindy McCain is taking on an advisory board role for Biden's transition team, which will help usher the former vice president into the Oval Office in the next two and a half months, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Senator John McCain served in Congress for decades and ran for president in 2008, when he lost to Barack Obama. Biden was the vice president on the Obama ticket.
In an interview with Good Morning America after Biden's victory, Cindy celebrated the election results and told Republicans: 'It’s time not just for Americans to get together and work together, but most importantly, it’s time that we Republicans put country first, not party.'
She also requested Trump concede to Biden in a 'gracious manner' like her late husband did upon his 2008 election defeat.
Trump has refused to concede, and has insisted, without evidence, that Democrats have tried to steal the election with rampant voter fraud.
Cindy McCain is the second Republican to join the transition team, following in the footsteps of Bob McDonald, who also served as the Secretary of Veteran Affairs for several years under Obama.
McCain will advise the transition team on issues facing women and children, according to the New York Post.
The advisory board has already met once and will meet again some time in the next few weeks.
McCain's inclusion on the transition team marks the continuation of an alliance between her and Biden.
She was one of the most outspoken Republicans to endorse Biden in his race against incumbent Republican Donald Trump.
'My husband John lived by a code: country first. We are Republicans, yes, but Americans foremost. There’s only one candidate in this race who stands up for our values as a nation, and that is @JoeBiden,' McCain stated in her Twitter endorsement in September.
She also participated in the Democratic National Convention in August, where she lauded the positive relationship between her late husband and Biden.
Watch: Fox News in "new low" cuts away from Trump press conference
Fox News on Monday cut away from a Trump campaign press conference outlining its allegations of election fraud in the presidential election.
White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany began her press conference by saying Democrats were the only party opposing voter ID, verifying signatures, citizenship, residency, eligibility, and trying to keep observers out of the count room.
“You take these positions because you are welcoming fraud and you are welcoming illegal voting,” she said just before Fox News cut away.
Host Neil Cavuto then said, “Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just think we have to be very clear: she's charging the other side as welcoming fraud and illegal voting, unless she has more details to back that up, I can't in good countenance continue to show you this.”
Cavuto said the network would return to the press conference if evidence was presented to substantiate the claims.
“But that’s an explosive charge to make, that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating, if she does bring proof of that of course we’ll take you back so far she has started saying, right at the outset, welcoming fraud, welcoming illegal voting,” Cavuto said.
Biden Would Distribute Covid-19 Vaccine Globally First ..... "Then to America "
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, who was named to Joe Biden’s coronavirus advisory team on Monday, published a paper in September arguing that any coronavirus vaccine should be distributed globally according to something called the “Fair Priority Model.”
Emanuel, the lead author on a paper in Science called “An ethical framework for global vaccine allocation,” argued that there should be a “fair international distribution of vaccine,” rather than what he and his co-authors call “vaccine nationalism.”
Trump-deranged Democrats endanger lives by blocking vaccines
Monday’s news that a COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer will be ready for Food and Drug Administration approval this month sent stock markets soaring and everyone celebrating. It is wonderful news for all humanity.
A vaccine will slow the deaths, end the lockdowns, allow businesses to reopen, free children to return to school and return life to normal within half a year.
Amazingly, one group isn’t celebrating: Democratic politicians. They would sooner criticize the breakthrough than allow the triumph to occur on President Trump’s watch. Gov. Cuomo in New York and Gov. Gavin Newsom in California are saying FDA approval of the vaccine isn’t enough, and they will insist on approval by experts in their own states, as well.
That’s unconstitutional. Drug approval is a federal responsibility, and courts have ruled that states should stay out of it.
Cuomo took it a preposterous step further on Monday, arguing that it would have been better if the vaccine had been delayed until Joe Biden became president. With over 1,000 Americans dying a day from COVID-19, Cuomo’s political calculation makes no sense.
AG Barr authorizes DOJ probe of allegations of ‘voting irregularities’
Attorney General Bill Barr authorised federal prosecutors to investigate allegations of “voting irregularities” in the 2020 election on Monday — despite little evidence of voting fraud in the contest.
In a memo sent by Barr Monday evening, he said Justice Department prosecutors could investigate specific allegations of voter fraud before the election results are certified in December.
The memo added, however, that “specious, speculative, fanciful or far-fetched claims should not be a basis for initiating federal inquiries.”
The memo, which critics see as the DOJ wading into the US election, prompted the resignation of Richard Pilger, the official who oversees voter fraud allegations for the department, the New York Times reported.
President Trump and his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani have repeatedly made broad allegations of voter fraud in a number of states, but have not provided evidence for their claims.
Trump has filed lawsuits in a number of states that he either lost to former Vice President Joe Biden or is trailing in the vote count as the final ballots are tallied.
Biden secured his electoral college victory over Trump in the 2020 election with his projected win in Pennsylvania and Nevada on Saturday.
Biden is leading Trump in Arizona and Georgia, states that he will have flipped Democratic if he’s ultimately victorious in them.

‘Burn Down The Republican Party’: Jennifer Rubin Wants To Make Sure There Are No ‘Survivors’
Sick. “survivors”

“It’s not only that @realDonaldTrump has to lose, his enablers have to lose. We have to collectively burn down the Republican Party. We have to level them. Because if there are survivors....they will do it again.” Jennifer Rubinpic.twitter.com/Y4FDIgKFDt
The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin said Saturday that the entire Republican Party had to be burned down and no “survivors” could be left.
The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin said Saturday that the entire Republican Party had to be burned down and no “survivors” could be left.
“It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose. We have to collectively in essence burn down the Republican Party,” Rubin explained. “We have to level them because if there are survivors, if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again. They will take this as confirmation that, ‘Hey, it just pays to ride the waves. Look at me. I made it through.’ And so up and down the ticket, federal, state, and local offices, the country has to repudiate this.”
Rubin also tweeted Friday that any Republican supporting President Trump’s claims of voter fraud should be rejected from “polite” society.
“Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list,” she said.
Rubin’s call echoed those of Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others.
