Like the Nazis Houthis are Now Rounding up Yemen's Jews

The Houthi rebel group in Yemen arrested Jews in the Kharif District of the 'Amran Governorate northwest of Sana'a as part of "ethnic cleansing" efforts as well as looting money from various sects and groups, according to the Egyptian Al-Mesryoon newspaper.
Local sources from Kharif told Al-Mesryoon that the Houthis had rounded up the Jews and imprisoned them due to their religion and were pressuring them to leave Yemen.

They forced the Jews to sign pledges to sell their homes, land and property to Houthi leaders at nominal prices and then leave the country.
The Houthis have reportedly persecuted the few Jews left in Yemen by cutting off their water and electricity and preventing them from purchasing food. The rebel group uses similar practices against non-Shi'ite Yemenis and Yemenis from other religions, according to Al-Mesryoon.
Most of Yemen's Jewish population was airlifted out of the country soon after the State of Israel was founded. Most of those who remained have left the country as well, leaving only a handful of Jews who have refused to leave.
Yemen’s Information Minister Moammer al-Iryani stated in 2017 that the state of the 50 or so remaining Jews in the country was "unknown."
A popular Houthi slogan includes the phrase "Curse the Jews."

Israeli Men Will Have to Spend Time With Their Families this Rosh Hashana ... No Uman

The Ukrainian government will not permit Israelis to make the annual Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage to the tomb of a 19th century Hasidic rebbe, Ukrainian officials announced Tuesday.

Every year, tens of thousands of Israelis travel to the central Ukrainian town of Uman to visit the resting place of Rebbe Nachman, the founder of the Breslov Hasidic movement whose grave has become a popular pilgrimage destination.

This year, however, Ukraine will not permit the mass pilgrimage, citing the resurgence of the coronavirus pandemic in Israel.

Due to the second wave of the virus in Israel, the European Union has placed the Jewish state on its “red list” of states with whom direct travel is heavily restricted.

Ukrainian officials also said the decision was made due to the lack of adequate hospital facilities in and around Uman to handle a major outbreak of the coronavirus.

“We want to make clear that this has nothing to do with politics or anti-Semitism, and we reject any claims which try to present it as such.”

First images received from Ofek 16 satellite

🇮🇱 מזל טוב 🇮🇱

One week following the successful launch of the Ofek 16 satellite into space, the engineering teams of the Space Administration in the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D), of the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMoD), and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), have operated the satellite’s observation camera for the first time. The high-quality images were received overnight at an IAI control station in the city of Yehud in central Israel.

Since the launch last Monday , IAI and IMoD teams have conducted a series of pre-planned tests during which all of the satellite’s systems and subsystems were activated in a gradual and controlled manner. Upon completion of the process, the satellite’s camera was also activated successfully. In the coming weeks, engineering teams will complete the rigorous tests, and prepare the satellite for operational use.

Head of the Space and Satellite Administration in IMoD, Amnon Harari: "This is the most significant milestone since the launch of the Ofek 16 satellite. The images we received from the satellite are of excellent quality. We will continue the orderly process of transferring the satellite to operational use, anticipating that over the years, the system will provide great intelligence to the defense establishment.”

IAI EVP and General Manager of the Systems, Missiles and Space Group, Boaz Levy: "This is a landmark achievement – the result of a complex technological and operational process that reflects IAI’s capabilities in the field of space, and also highlights our partnership with other defense industries. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, IAI will continue to advance Israel’s space program towards further operational achievements. "

The Ofek 16 satellite is an electro-optical observation satellite with advanced capabilities. It is equipped with a high-quality camera developed and manufactured by Elbit Systems. In the coming weeks, following the completion of the ‘in orbit testing’ process conducted by the DDR&D, IAI and the IDF, the Ministry of Defense will transfer responsibilities to Unit 9900 of the IDF’s Intelligence Cops, after which the satellite will be declared operational.

The Space Administration in the Israel Ministry of Defense has led the development and production of the satellite and its launcher. IAI is the prime contractor, having assigned the program to its Systems, Missiles and Space Group, together with the MLM division, which is responsible for the development of the launcher. The satellite’s payload was developed by Elbit Systems. The launch engines were developed by Rafael Advanced Systems and Tomer, a government-owned defense company. Additional companies have participated in this program, including Rokar and Cielo. Lastly, various IDF officials, primarily from the Intelligence Corps and Air Force have also been deeply involved in the satellite development process

Redeeming Chevron .....

Guest article by Rebbetzin Miriam Levinger

Din Note: At the very end of the Rebbitzen's article about Chevron (after the break on page 2),
I placed a 20 min video where the Rebbitzen speaks .. it was recorded in 1981...it's a bit grainy and has some breaks in between .... but it's kdai to watch to the end..

The story of “ Bnot Tzelofchad” in last week's Parsha, brings me back every year to the story of the group of women myself included settling in the deserted building of Beit Hadassah.

This ordeal happened some years after my husband, Harav Moshe Levinger z”l and a group of friends began the modern day story of re-settling Hebron in 1968.

After making Seder Pesach in an Arab hotel, Defense Minister Moshe Dayan moved us to the Hebron military compound.

Kiryat Arba was built and we moved there in 1971. In 1978, the Arabs appealed to the Supreme Court and as a result all expansion was frozen.

CHINESE VIROLOGIST ACCUSES BEIJING OF CORONAVIRUS COVER-UP, FLEES HONG KONG

A Hong Kong virologist who fled to the U.S. earlier this year told "Bill Hemmer Reports" in an exclusive interview Monday that lives could have been saved if the Chinese government hadn't censored her work.

"This is a huge pandemic we have seen in the world," Yan Li-Meng told host Bill Hemmer. "It's more than anything we've known in human history. So, the timing is very, very important. If we can stop it early, we can save lives."

Yan exclusively told Fox News Digital last week that she believes the Chinese government knew about the novel coronavirus well before acknowledging the outbreak publicly. She also claimed her supervisors, renowned as some of the top experts in the field, ignored research she was doing at the onset of the pandemic that she believes could have saved lives.

"I have to hide because I know how they treat whistleblowers, and as a whistleblower here I want to tell the truth of COVID-19 and the origin of the SARS-2 COVID virus," Yan told Fox News Digital.

She told Hemmer that Beijing government knew in December that more than 40 citizens had already been infected with the virus and "human-to-human transmissions [were] already [occurring] at that time."

Airlines Won’t Have to Refund Money on Cancelled Flights

The Knesset voted on Monday night to approve legislation to make life easier for airlines which cancel flights, but harder on the passengers whose flights are canceled.
Until now, airlines were required to pay out refunds and in some cases compensation for canceled or delayed flights and other inconveniences. The new law will enable airlines to offer a credit toward a replacement booking instead of a cash refund and will be exempted from having to pay compensations.
In addition, hotel accommodations for stranded travelers will be limited to nights only.
The new conditions will apply to flights to and from Israel from March 1 to August 31.
Join List MK Ahmed Tibi, a sponsor of the legislation explained that it was necessary in light of the economic plight of the airline companies due to massive cancellations due to coronavirus travel restrictions. Without such legislation the country’s entire airline sector could collapse, he said.

Mother Shot Dead After Saying ‘All Lives Matter’

Jessica Whitaker, a 24-year-old mother of one, was with three friends by a canal in Indianapolis in the early hours of July 5 after a 4th of July celebration when a confrontation occurred between her group and a group of Black Lives Matter supporters, allegedly over racial language.
Whitaker’s fiancee, Jose Ramirez, told local news that during a brief argument, someone in the opposing group said “Black Lives Matter,” to which one of Whitaker’s group — possibly Whitaker — responded “All Lives Matter.”
The victim’s father told the Gateway Pundit that the Black Lives Matter group brandished guns during the confrontation, prompting Ramirez to do the same.
The situation de-escalated and both groups withdrew, but Ramirez said the Black Lives Matter supporters later ambushed their group under a nearby bridge, shooting Whitaker dead.
“They were sitting on St. Clair waiting for us to come under the bridge and that’s when she got shot,” said Ramirez.
According to the Gateway Pundit, the victim’s grandfather said Whitaker, mother to a 3-year-old son, was shot in the head.
Aside from one local news outlet, the story was wholly ignored by the mainstream corporate media until the Gateway Pundit discovered the story and published a now-viral article this weekend.
Following the Gateway Pundit’s piece, the story was picked up by a number of mainstream outlets including the Daily Mail and The Sun in the UK, and the New York Daily News in the U.S.
Conservative media including the Daily Caller, the Daily Wire, the Washington Examiner and Fox News’ website also picked up the story following TGP’s coverage.

23 Year Old Single Nurse is Sick & Tired of the "Frum Shidduch System"

This nurse is 100% correct ..... the proof is in the pudding as more and more young couples are getting divorced in the first year of marriage....
Parents pressured, perhaps worried that their "old katchke" daughter who is already 21 will never get married in our frum world, push their child to get married ASAP.

In the Yeshivishe World the boys are in the driver seats, only G-d knows why; they get lists and lists of resumes, the mothers of these "fancy glasses, pleated pants, Barcelino hats (now small rimmed), spoiled brats, demand that the girl have a profession, be "chinush" slim to the point of being anorexic. These guys even if they are 28, grab the naive wild-eyed 18 year-old fresh out of seminary, leaving the more mature, smarter 24 -28 year accomplished girls in the dust bin... The reason is because the boys are immature, have low self esteem because in their hearts of hearts they know that they don't compare in maturity and in education to any girl their age.

Most boys that come out of the Yeshiva System and I'm including Mir Yerushalyim, Brisk or Lakewood are bono-fide ama-ratzim.
There I said it...
Just yesterday in the shul that I daven, they asked a "Brisker" single boy to say something on the parsha (Mattos /Massah), during the 10 minute break between mincha & maariv.... he hemmed and hawed for the first 3 minutes, scratching his head searching the shelves for a non-existent sefer, and then when we asked him to say anything that he learned that very day ..he gave us a blank stare..... this particular boy ... the sweetest and the most handsome guy and the best "catch" in the neighborhood will probably demand that the girl parents buy him an apartment and support him for the first 52 years of marriage..
Just to put this in perspective ... when we ask any working guy to say anything on the parsha on the 10 minute break ...even on a whim, they will come up with a beautiful vort that is relevant to the times....
Just two weeks ago on Shabbos Parshas Balak, a "kollel guy" gave a half hour pilpul on a sugye in Yavomos, which I guess he was learning, to an audience that were "Yodea sefer" but no one could decipher it and like an airplane that lost its landing gear he couldn't land ..... as far as I'm concerned he wasted my time and I consider this "bitul Torah"and I'm wondering "how will I ever get that half hour back." Mind you that in this parsha even a donkey talked.
The shul advertised this "Shmooze to Nowhere," weeks before.
This guy has been in kolel for 13 years and is being supported by his wife who also takes care of a home with 7 children.

The girls are far better educated, they are knowledgeable in Tanach with all the relevant commentaries, they have more than a basic understanding in Shulchan Aruch  ... and know how to cook and bake and are all around accomplished . In addition, they have profession that will support their ama-ratzim husbands.

There is something very wrong with our education of our boys when they know how to give "chaburois" but don't have a clue what Rashi wants in any given pasuk in the Torah, nor do they know or care to know Tanach.... most of them are very machmir in their lifestyles but are ignorant in basic halachos..

It's no wonder that the Gedoilim today are all close to 100 years old, because the Yeshivas are not producing any Talmedei Chachamim, just mass producing like a Ford Auto Plant, right-wing fanatics that cannot wait for the Zionists to arrest one of them so they can run out to the streets and block traffic.
As of this writing there isn't a Gadol in the entire world that is less than 75 years old .... I remember growing up when Gedoilim were in their 30 and 40's .... those were from an era where most talmidim got a very rounded education which included secular studies..

I know that I didn't even get to address the letter yet..
But I don't have an answer to the nurse that wrote to Flatbush Girl...she has a lot of company in a frum world gone mad!
