23 Year Old Single Nurse is Sick & Tired of the "Frum Shidduch System"

This nurse is 100% correct ..... the proof is in the pudding as more and more young couples are getting divorced in the first year of marriage....
Parents pressured, perhaps worried that their "old katchke" daughter who is already 21 will never get married in our frum world, push their child to get married ASAP.

In the Yeshivishe World the boys are in the driver seats, only G-d knows why; they get lists and lists of resumes, the mothers of these "fancy glasses, pleated pants, Barcelino hats (now small rimmed), spoiled brats, demand that the girl have a profession, be "chinush" slim to the point of being anorexic. These guys even if they are 28, grab the naive wild-eyed 18 year-old fresh out of seminary, leaving the more mature, smarter 24 -28 year accomplished girls in the dust bin... The reason is because the boys are immature, have low self esteem because in their hearts of hearts they know that they don't compare in maturity and in education to any girl their age.

Most boys that come out of the Yeshiva System and I'm including Mir Yerushalyim, Brisk or Lakewood are bono-fide ama-ratzim.
There I said it...
Just yesterday in the shul that I daven, they asked a "Brisker" single boy to say something on the parsha (Mattos /Massah), during the 10 minute break between mincha & maariv.... he hemmed and hawed for the first 3 minutes, scratching his head searching the shelves for a non-existent sefer, and then when we asked him to say anything that he learned that very day ..he gave us a blank stare..... this particular boy ... the sweetest and the most handsome guy and the best "catch" in the neighborhood will probably demand that the girl parents buy him an apartment and support him for the first 52 years of marriage..
Just to put this in perspective ... when we ask any working guy to say anything on the parsha on the 10 minute break ...even on a whim, they will come up with a beautiful vort that is relevant to the times....
Just two weeks ago on Shabbos Parshas Balak, a "kollel guy" gave a half hour pilpul on a sugye in Yavomos, which I guess he was learning, to an audience that were "Yodea sefer" but no one could decipher it and like an airplane that lost its landing gear he couldn't land ..... as far as I'm concerned he wasted my time and I consider this "bitul Torah"and I'm wondering "how will I ever get that half hour back." Mind you that in this parsha even a donkey talked.
The shul advertised this "Shmooze to Nowhere," weeks before.
This guy has been in kolel for 13 years and is being supported by his wife who also takes care of a home with 7 children.

The girls are far better educated, they are knowledgeable in Tanach with all the relevant commentaries, they have more than a basic understanding in Shulchan Aruch  ... and know how to cook and bake and are all around accomplished . In addition, they have profession that will support their ama-ratzim husbands.

There is something very wrong with our education of our boys when they know how to give "chaburois" but don't have a clue what Rashi wants in any given pasuk in the Torah, nor do they know or care to know Tanach.... most of them are very machmir in their lifestyles but are ignorant in basic halachos..

It's no wonder that the Gedoilim today are all close to 100 years old, because the Yeshivas are not producing any Talmedei Chachamim, just mass producing like a Ford Auto Plant, right-wing fanatics that cannot wait for the Zionists to arrest one of them so they can run out to the streets and block traffic.
As of this writing there isn't a Gadol in the entire world that is less than 75 years old .... I remember growing up when Gedoilim were in their 30 and 40's .... those were from an era where most talmidim got a very rounded education which included secular studies..

I know that I didn't even get to address the letter yet..
But I don't have an answer to the nurse that wrote to Flatbush Girl...she has a lot of company in a frum world gone mad!

Chaim Zuckerman Sues Sex Fiend Mondrowitz & Gerer Yeshivah

Chaim Zuckerman couldn’t believe his eyes.
As the ninth grader was passing through the basement dining room of his Brooklyn yeshiva on his way to work on a large candle he was making with friends to mark the yahrtzeit of the fifth Gerer Rebbe, he saw a schoolmate leaning against a table with a man lying on top of him. Both the man — known to the students as a child therapist — and the boy had their pants down.
It was “the sickest, craziest thing” Zuckerman, then 13, had ever seen.
The boy rushed upstairs and told a teacher what he had witnessed.
The teacher took him to the office of the school’s spiritual supervisor, Avrohom Leizerowitz, who, Zuckerman claims, “berated him for his ‘dirty mind’ and instructed him that he would be required to receive counseling” from the very man in the basement, Avrohom Mondrowitz.
Despite feeling “worried [and] uncomfortable,” Zuckerman told The Jewish Week that he felt obligated to “follow the system” and obey. What happened next has haunted him ever since.
Now, 37 years later, he has filed a lawsuit against Mondrowitz as well as the school, Yeshiva & Mesivta Bais Yisroel, and Leizerowitz.

Eating Meat Boosts Muscle Better than Plant-based Diet As We Age, Study Suggests

Plant-based proteins will not boost muscle health as much as eating meat as we get older, a study suggests.
Researchers found that animal protein is more effective than plant protein in preventing muscles wasting away.
The study found that vegans would need to eat a lot more grains, pulses and beans if they want to get the same benefits that meat, dairy and eggs offer to ageing bodies.
The researchers from King's College London suggest people should eat a balance of both animal and plant proteins.
The report said: 'While we know plant-based diets are beneficial for the environment, we don't know how healthy these diets are for keeping muscles strong.
'Transitioning from an animal-based protein diet to a plant-based diet is likely to be detrimental to muscle health during ageing.'
Muscles are kept strong by amino acids, bolstered during exercise or from animal proteins and as the body ages, it needs extra help in preventing muscles from wasting.
Plant-based proteins can do the same but the quantity needs to be a lot higher to have that effect, said lead researcher Oliver Witard.
While vegans have ditched meat and dairy for a number of reasons - including health, animal welfare and to protect the environment - the study suggests they may be better off balancing their diet with both animal and plant proteins.
Witard and colleagues conducted tests on volunteers given either animal based proteins or soy and wheat based alternatives and studied isotopes, blood sampling and muscle biopsies to see how well the muscles were building up from amino acids.

The full findings are due to be presented at a virtual conference of The Physiological Society this week.
Witards report said: 'The number of vegans in the UK has quadrupled since 2006, meaning that there are around 600,000 vegans in Great Britain.
'A more balanced and less extreme approach to changing dietary behaviour, meaning eating both animal and plant-based proteins, is best.'
Further tests on alternative plant based proteins such as oat, quinoa and maize are to be carried out to see if they are more effective on a gram for gram basis.
Witard added: 'This research challenges the broad viewpoint that plant proteins don't help build muscles as much as animal protein by highlighting the potential of alternative plant-based protein sources to maintain the size and quality of ageing muscles.

37 Year-Old Dies from Corona after Claiming the Pandemic was just 'hype' in a Facebook post

A 37-year-old Ohio man who claimed the coronavirus pandemic was just 'hype' and repeatedly refused to wear a face mask has died from COVID-19.
Richard Rose, wrote on Facebook on July 1 that he was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, and went to get tested.
The U.S. Army veteran, who served for nine years and did two tours of Iraq and Afghanistan, tested positive. He died from the virus at his home in Port Clinton, Ohio, on July 4.
Rose was born in the town and lived there his whole life.
On April 28 that the pandemic was just 'hype'.
'Let make this clear,' he wrote, in a post that was shared 10,000 times.
'I'm not buying a f**king mask. I've made it this far by not buying into that damn hype.'

On May 12, Rose wrote: 'I've gotten sick of turning my tv on to political smear ads and sh-t about COVID.
'So yesterday I turned my cable box in.
'I've also started snoozing people on here. It's time to block out negativity.'

Israel Will Allow Entry for Family Simchas

A new list of exemptions from the ban on non-Israelis entering the country during the coronavirus pandemic have been obtained from the Israeli Ministry of the Interior, allowing additional relatives to attend family simchas.
On Sunday night, the following additions to the exceptions were announced, including:
Births: Grandparents may enter Israel for the birth of a grandchild. They may enter the country a month prior to the expected birth, and remain for up to a month after the birth.
Bar/Bat Mitzva: Grandparents may enter Israel for the Bar/Bat Mitzva of a grandchild.
Weddings: Parents, grandparents and siblings of the chosson or kallah had already been allowed to enter for the wedding. However, spouses of siblings (i.e. brother/sister-in-laws) were not. Similarly, we frequently encountered situations where a sister was allowed to enter Israel, but her (nursing) baby was barred – hence making the trip untenable. The new rules allow for brother/sister-in-laws of the chosson or kallah to enter. Additionally, children under one year old may enter along with their parents.
All travelers to Israel need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. Furthermore, even in the permitted circumstances, one must still obtain permission to enter by emailing the nearest Israeli embassy or consulate.
Applications must include:
Copies of passport(s)
  • Travel itinerary (showing travel for more than 14 days – as the traveller will need to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival).
  • ID of the Chosson/Kallah, Bar/Bat Mitzva, or expectant mother
  • Proof of relation to the Chosson/Kallah, Bar/Bat Mitzva, or expectant mother (birth certificate)
  • Medical Insurance which will cover duration of stay in Israel, which must explicitly state that Covid is covered

Jew Hater Peter Beinart’s ‘Peace’ Plan Is Similar to Satmar Shitah and Hamas’

Read the article below by Elder of Ziyon and tell me the difference between this self hating Jewish writer Peter Beinart's  Idea of "Peace" and  the Satmar Shitah?

The writer, Elder of Ziyon, chastises Peter Beinart's "Peace plan" that would basically replace Israel with another Arab State.... in other words Beinart's idea of peace is not to have a "two state solution" but a "one state solution" with the government of this new state, no longer Jewish !
Isn't that the Satmar idea of a State before Moshiach?  Satmar would want that the State to revert to the United Nations.... which is such a crazed and ludicrous idea; even the Arab Jew haters will laugh....
Remember when the UN took their troops away from the Israel/Egypt border two weeks before the outbreak of the 1967 war? They did that so the Egyptians would have free reign to murder all the Jews.
Read and weep!
Does Peter Beinart’s peace plan for Israel resemble Hamas’?
In 2017, Hamas famously took out the blatantly antisemitic language in its manifesto that was supposed-to-but-not-really replace the original Hamas charter:

Hamas affirms that its conflict is with the Zionist project not with the Jews because of their religion. Hamas does not wage a struggle against the Jews because they are Jewish but wages a struggle against the Zionists who occupy Palestine. …
Hamas rejects the persecution of any human being or the undermining of his or her rights on nationalist, religious, or sectarian grounds. Hamas is of the view that the Jewish problem, antisemitism, and the persecution of the Jews are phenomena fundamentally linked to European history and not to the history of the Arabs and the Muslims or to their heritage.
See? Hamas doesn’t say it wants to persecute Jews in its one-state solution.
Other parts of the 2017 Hamas manifesto sound very close to what Beinart would want:
Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. It provides an umbrella for the followers of other creeds and religions who can practice their beliefs in security and safety. Hamas also believes that Palestine has always been and will always be a model of coexistence, tolerance, and civilizational innovation.
Hamas believes that the message of Islam upholds the values of truth, justice, freedom, and dignity and prohibits all forms of injustice and incriminates oppressors irrespective of their religion, race, gender, or nationality. Islam is against all forms of religious, ethnic, or sectarian extremism and bigotry.
Life in an Islamic state under Hamas rule sounds like a dream!
Senior Hamas official Mahmoud al-Zahar also said in 2006 that he could see Jews, Muslims, and Christians all living together in an Islamic state.
Does anyone believe Hamas?
Beinart was skeptical in his 2012 Crisis of Zionism book, but he felt that their conciliatory statements should be considered by Israel and Zionists as reflecting an evolution of Hamas’ thoughts. Now? Outside the Islamic part, Hamas’ manifesto sounds remarkably like Beinart’s plan for peace and happiness in the Middle East.
Beinart will claim that his solution is different, because Isratine would not be defined as an Islamic or even an Arab state. But can that really be stopped?
Lebanon is a perfect example of how a nation that is constitutionally committed to equal rights is not the same as one actually committed to equal rights.
Of course, Beinart studiously ignores the thousands of statements from Hamas every year that contradict the language of tolerance in its manifesto. To Beinart, Arabs must be judged favorably; only Jews must be judged harshly. Palestinians must have sovereignty, Jews should be happy with whatever they can get.
Which is exactly what Hamas believes.
Elder of Ziyon has been blogging about Israel and the Arab world for a really long time now. He also controls the world, but deep down, you already knew that.
