Three witnesses, 11 hours of testimony and endless squabbling between Republicans and Democrat Adam Schiff. That’s the bare-bones tally of the first two days of public impeachment hearings.

Along the way, patient viewers learned many things, some interesting but none decisive. So we don’t know the final score, but we do know the big loser.

America, in a landslide. Make that a mudslide.

How the Democrats bungled the first day of public impeachment hearings

If Democrats think they advanced their case for impeachment with the first day of hearings into the Ukraine matter, they are deluding themselves. The proceedings were confusing, not clarifying.

Speaking as someone who has followed this matter in granular detail, I found it extremely difficult to tease out the set of undeniable facts that would prove Donald Trump did something so appalling he should be the first president in history to be removed from ­office and only the third to be impeached. And I ­assure you, I am willing to be convinced.

The problem is that the argument Democrats were presenting intertwined allegations of arguably impeachable misbehavior — the president blackmailing a foreign government with the leverage of foreign aid into helping him with a political favor — with complaints about the way the president conducts his foreign policy that have no place in an impeachment inquiry.

The rabbi is one of a group of mainstream rabbis and rebbetzins from English-speaking countries who have fulfilled the mitzvah of returning to the Land of Israel, and who are participating in the “Bring Them Home” project.

Each of these leaders has recorded a brief video in which they discuss the mitzvah of returning to the Land, and the importance of actually living here in Israel.

Rabbi Myers explains that the Nazir says the passage is not asking the Creator to allow us to live in the Holy Land when He Returns, during the Redemption, but rather, to allow Jews to be able to see His return.

Has Matt Drudge abandoned conservatism?

Everyone is noticing, so the negative stories are not an outlier.

Matt Drudge has sold his conservative soul for clicks and money. In August, the Drudge Report dropped its advertising representative of close to 20 years, Intermarkets, in favor of a new and unknown company, Granite Cubed.

Author and political commentator, Jerome Corsi, has repeatedly tweeted about the shift in coverage, saying Drudge has “lost his mind,” “turned left,” and become a “leftist hack beating [the] impeachment drum.”

The reclusive Matt Drudge is a one man box of mystery,  we may never know the whole truth.
