The Cross-Examination Of James Comey

by Thomas Del Beccaro, Forbes

Did President Trump obstruct justice?
The Left is in an all-out war to make Trump a one-term president and to stop his policy agenda. Rather than primarily fight Trump over policy, the Left is fighting Trump with the legal system. The Left has claimed for months Trump colluded with Russia and now claims Trump obstructed Justice.

After six months of no evidence on the collusion front, Former FBI Director James Comey was to be the star witness for the Democrats on the obstruction front. Instead of being helpful, Comey confirmed that there is no evidence of collusion. Beyond that, he was such a bad witness, Comey destroyed any possible legal case against Trump - and made himself part of the investigation in the process.

On that last point, it must be said that Robert Mueller, the chief investigator, is the close friend and mentor of James Comey.  Now that Comey has placed himself at the center of the controversy, Mueller must resign. He cannot ethically investigate acts involving his friend. This is not even a close call. If he does not, the process will be more than tainted and America damaged even more. Mueller should do the right thing.

On the issue of collusion with Russia, Comey agreed with two comments made by California Senator Diane Feinstein that no evidence has been seen establishing collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.  Given that collusion is not even a crime, it seems pretty certain that it is a dead end that even Chris Mathews recognizes.

As for obstruction and Russia, Comey was clear that Trump never said stop the Russian investigation.  To the contrary, Comey said he encouraged parts of it. As such, that part of the “case” is over except for the shouting.

As for the Flynn investigation and obstruction, Alan Dershowitz made it clear, and Comey agreed with him, that Trump could order the end of the investigation if Trump wanted to do that.  Dershowitz therefore concluded Trump could not have committed obstruction of justice by saying “I hope” it ends. In other words, that should end the matter.

But this is politics in the Divided Era and so the battle goes on.  Even if Dershowitz and Comey are wrong, Comey crippled his credibility and effectively ended the matter.

Recall that the day before Comey’s testimony, Senator Lindsey Graham, a former prosecutor and military judge, stated that Robert Mueller must not believe there is an obstruction case. He said that because, if Mueller did believe he had a case, he would never send out his chief and only witness to testify publicly.  Graham reasoned that it would be too great of a risk.

Comey proved why, if any case existed at all, the lone witness to it never should have been allowed to open his mouth in public.
As an attorney of 30 years, with a trial practice, I can tell you Comey, in several ways, hopelessly damaged his credibility. He would be easy prey for an attorney cross-examining him.

When preparing a witness, good attorneys tell their witnesses not to say certain things.  Basically, we want them to stick to the facts and don’t speculate.  We tell them don’t preface an answer with “honestly,” [Comey did] because it implies you may not have been honest with other comments.

We also tell them don’t diminish your own value as a witness by saying things like “I can’t prove it.”  Well, Comey went way past that when he declared that he was “hopelessly biased” with respect to part of his views.

I couldn’t believe this so-called practiced attorney and law enforcement official would make such a public statement. Any attorney worth his salt would easily be able to extend that admission of bias to the rest of Comey’s testimony.  Indeed, in 30 years of practice, I have rarely seen a witness say something so damaging about himself.
Comey didn’t stop there on the issue of his own credibility.  Let us count the ways:
  1. Comey admitted he had an axe to grind and took acts confirming his bias.
He did so when he admitted to taking and leaking government property to influence the investigation and to protect his reputation.  That admission goes beyond bias – it now means Comey was an active participant in shaping the investigation for his own self-interest and committed a crime to do so. Government employees don’t get to take government property when they leave office – his memos are government property.

Further, Comey didn’t do anything of any materiality about Trump’s act until after Trump fired him.  If he really thought Trump did something wrong, then Comey committed a felony by not taking the right action back then.  So why did he wait to act until after he was fired?  Well, Comey admitted he was upset about what Trump said after the firing.  In a real proceeding, the cross-examining attorney would easily establish Comey was now changing his views because of his bias.

Indeed, any cross-examining attorney could destroy Comey based on that possible illegal conduct and those admissions.
It gets worse.

2. The entire case comes down to Comey saying he believed Trump ordered him to stop the Flynn investigation because Comey interpreted Trump’s statement “I hope” to be an “order.” Mind you – Trump never used the word “order” and Comey admits that. Comey just says he took “I hope” to be an order. In other words, the whole case comes down to Comey’s perception.
Later in Comey’s testimony, however, when asked what he could do about something, Comey said “All I can do is hope.”
Yes Mr. Comey, people say “I hope so” without any evil or illegal intent.  Obviously, Comey thinks it’s okay for him colloquially to use the word “hope” - but not Trump. A cross-examining attorney could hammer Comey on his off-hand comment and why Comey gets to hope but Trump can’t.

It still gets worse.
3. Comey believed Trump meant something by his words other than what Trump actually said. However, later in his testimony, Comey said outright that he didn’t know Trump well enough to know how he would “act” in certain circumstances. At another point, he said “projecting [meaning] onto” President Trump was, in effect, not a precise practice.
In other words, on the one hand, Comey claims he knows Trump well enough to say he gave him an “order” in one instance but doesn’t know Trump well enough or shouldn’t speculate as to his meaning, in two other instances.  That is yet another inconsistency that any cross-examining attorney could use against Comey. Bonus point – Comey couldn’t figure out Hillary’s “intent” when it came to the destruction of emails and phones but could with Trump?
It goes on.

4. Comey said that, at one point, he didn’t want to have a face-to-face meeting with Trump alone. He wanted a go between so he could not be pushed too hard by the President again or caught in a compromising position. Yet, Comey later took one-on-one calls with Trump.  So which is it Mr. Comey?  You can or you cannot talk alone with Trump. That is another inconsistency on a significant point.

5.  How many rules or laws did Comey Violate?
Comey’s believability would be on trial, his stunning number of broken laws or violations would be on trial as well.
  • Again, Comey likely committed a felony by not reporting Trump’s alleged crime at the time. The fact that he waited until after his firing more than undermines his current claim that Trump did something wrong.
  • Comey took government property (see above). Is that legal? No. It also violated the confidentiality agreement he signed that outlined possible criminal charges. Further, government employees don’t get to take parting gifts of their choice when they leave office.
  • Even worse. If Comey thought Trump had done something illegal, Comey’s memo about it constituted “evidence” in the case. It was illegal for Comey to physically take evidence in a case for personal use. Ask yourself how many cops take evidence home.
It goes on.
  • Comey was asked if he was the source of any leaks. He answered “no” but later admitted he was.  Not only is that another inconsistency and lying under oath, it is illegal to leak that document.  Also, since Trump reportedly asked Comey to go after the leakers, it now looks that Comey had motive for not doing it.  After all, he was one of the leakers.
  • Comey said under oath he didn’t know about the parameters of the Session recusal on the Russia investigation. Actually, he had that information.  Did he lie?  Looks like it – and that is a crime.
  • Comey also falsely said that he only took notes after his Trump conversations, because he thought Trump would lie, and that he didn’t have to do that after conversations with Bush and Obama. That was false – Comey did the same after Bush.
That last comment no small lie.  At the outset of his testimony Comey made a big point of saying he thought, a man he barely knew, would lie, and that he needed notes for Trump but not the others. Turns out he was lying about his motive.
Few lawyers want as their sole fact witness in a case to be someone with those credentials.
It gets worse.
  1. The Nation’s top cop didn’t know whether an FBI agent was required to report a felony? Really? How credible is that?
  2. Comey’s inconsistent acts. Comey followed the orders of former Attorney General Loretta Lynch to call the Hillary investigation a “matter”– consistent with the language Hillary was using. Keep in mind Lynch does not have near the authority to demand the end of an investigation or the influence that a president has. Comey did not think that was obstruction, but now that he was fired and Trump spoke badly of him, Comey thinks “I hope” amounts to obstruction. Obviously, he did not treat those circumstances equally – for personal reasons.
Finally, another word about the notes.

In the actual investigation of Hillary Clinton, Comey allowed her to be interviewed without a court reporter taking down her words.  As a result, Hillary, who was called a congenital liar by William Safire two decades ago, could never be prosecuted for obstructing justice or lying to the FBI during the investigation because Comey made sure there was no admissible record of her comments – after millions and millions were spent on the investigation. But he needed notes from Trump?  Where are his Hillary notes?

Comey should have been fired for that last act alone.   He should have been fired for bowing to Loretta Lynch to use language the Hillary campaign was using to characterize the FBI investigation of her as a “matter.” Based on his admissions, he should be prosecuted and an investigation undertaken of Lorettta Lynch and Hillary.
As for Trump’s future legal problems over obstruction, Comey fired himself as a witness with his hopelessly biased and hopelessly contradictory actions and statements.

Chuck Schumer emboldened the "resistance," and why the left can't condemn Islamist terrorism, and "the cold biological truth that sex changes are impossible."

Camille Paglia is one America's smartest and most fearless writers. Like Elvis, she's the kind of superstar who really needs no introduction—though it is worth pointing out that Pantheon has just published a collection of her essays on sex, gender, and feminism, titled Free Women, Free Men. It's fantastic and if you love her work, it's must-reading. (And there's another collection due out in the Fall of 2018, which is more good news.)
JVL: Donald Trump has recently feuded with Jim Comey, Bob Mueller, Sadiq Kahn, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, NATO—we'll stop the list there. You were one of a very small number of people who understood Trump's populist appeal early on. Looking at his presidency so far, do think he's continuing to deliver on that appeal? What is he doing right? What is he doing wrong?

Satmar In It's "Fake News" Narrative of IDF Recruitment Calls It a "Holocaust"

"Der Yid" Zalonie Satmar News Rag
Der Yid, is the Satmar Yiddish Newspaper published by the Zalonie faction of the Satmar cult.
The Newspaper is a master at fake news, and any article on any given day on Israel, is full of half truths and all lies and propaganda..
The stupid and naive Satmar sheep read this garbage and believe every single word.

Last week the leader of the Zalonim, R' Zalman Leib Teitelbaum, called for a massive protest against  IDF recruiting , because as they put it ... IDF Recruiting Yeshivah Boys is a "Spiritual Holocaust."

The only problem is that the entire narrative that the IDF recruiters force Yeshivah boys to join the IDF, is a bald faced lie. They made it all up.

Gedoilim in Israel begged the fanatic R' Zalman to call the protest off since the IDF does not at all force any Dati or Yeshivah Boy to join the army.
His own brother, R' Aron refused to go and asked his followers not to attend, since as he put it, "going to protest  a story that isn't true, is bitul Torah."

Let me loosly translate the first 2 paragraphs of this outragious article.

"The coming Sunday, Parshas Shlach, tens of thousands of G-D fearing Jews, together with Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshivas, will congregate at the "Get Together of Thousands," to scream to American Jews in America, about the "spiritual Holocaust" that is occurring in the Holy Land, where thousands of Charedie souls are being burned in the spiritual gas ovens, from the Zionist Army and the Police mandatory service.

There is absolutely no better interpretation of the great tragedy of  Army recruitment than using the word "Holocaust" ... The word "Holocaust" is used by the entire world to describe the murder of 6 million Jews by the Nazis. Who gassed million of Jews in the gas shower rooms  where thousands of Jews lost their holy souls.  The victims choked to death by inhaling the gas, while their bodies remained intact. They then burned their bodies to ashes in the ovens.
The procedure that the Nazis did , was shoving thousands of Jewish children into the gas shower rooms, while allowing gas pellets to drop into the rooms ... gassing them to death allowing the bodies to remain intact.

The same "Holocaust" in a spiritual sense, is now occurring in Eretz Yisroel, via the Zionist government that made an edict that requires all to join the Army, which  recruits  by force, thousands Chareidie Boys and newly married young men in their military gas shower rooms.
The government was established with heresy, sexual lust, murder and removing the yoke of Torah, which the heretics drum into each and every soldier" ..... ....... etc etc bla bla bla

Staunch Bernie Sanders Supporter James Hodgkinson Shoots Congressman and then gets killed by Police

James T. Hodgkinson has been identified as the shooter who opened fire on Republican members of Congress Wednesday morning at a baseball field in Alexandria, Virginia, the Washington Post reports.
Hodgkinson, 66, was from Belleville, Illinois, the newspaper reports. A motive for the shooting is not yet known, but Hodgkinson’s Facebook page shows someone who had a high interest in politics, who supported Bernie Sanders during the presidential election and expressed anger with President Donald Trump and Republican Congressmen.
Hodgkinson was shot by police and taken to the hospital. President Donald Trump announced in a televised statement that Hodgksinson has died.
The gunman was shot by two Capitol Hill Police officers who were at the scene as a security detail for Rep. Steve Scalise, the House Majority Whip, who was among those shot. The two police officers were also wounded, along with a staffer for Rep. Roger Williams of Texas and a lobbyist. The victims are all expected to survive.
Two Congressmen, Rep. Jeff Duncan and Rep. Ron DeSantis, described an encounter with a man who asked them if those practicing were “Republicans or Democrats” before the shooting. DeSantis, when shown a photo of Hodgkinson, confirmed he was the man who approached him, CNBC reports.
Alexandria Police Chief Michael Brown said his officers and Capitol Police officers exchanged fire with the gunman.

New York Times Sponsors Play About "Trump Assassination"

New York's venerated theater organization, the Public Theater, is facing a PR disaster over its long-running free "Shakespeare in the Park" series. The organization is mounting a production of Julius Caesar, which (spoiler alert!) ends with the Roman politician being assassinated. Many far-right online personas—including Donald Trump Jr.—consider this to be offensive given that Caesar appears Trump-like in this particular production. (It depicts him with blonde hair and modern attire.)
A flurry of online trolling and hysteria over the show has resulted in two corporate sponsors—Bank of America and Delta—cutting ties with the Public Theater. But not everyone is ready to cut and run. Today the New York Times, another corporate sponsor, confirmed to me that it will continue supporting the theater.
Here's the Times' statement:
"We have sponsored Shakespeare in the Park for 20 years. As an institution that believes in free speech for the arts as well as the media, we support the right of the Public Theater to stage the production as they chose."

Ami Attacks Rabbi Steven Pruzansky For Taking Satmar Bizarre Claim That There "Were No Miracles At the 6 Day War" To Task

Clown Yitzy Frankfurter

Every time I post about Yitzy "the clown" Frankfurter, readers ask "why do you give him any attention?"

For two reasons: One, he has quite a circulation in the Chareidie world, so it is important to be מוחה and refute his foolish and dangerous views ......
Two: There are a lot of Chareidim that support his point of view as crazy as it sounds..
Finally, every time I post about Ami, I get thousands of hits coming from chareidie communities, that read my refutation .... so it seems like people want to see someone criticize and put him in his place.

In this week's "editorial" titled "Marking the 50th Anniversary of the six-day war," Frankfurter takes on Rabbi Pruzansky, the spiritual leader of Congregation Bnai Yeshurun in Teaneck, New Jersey, who rightfully argued with the Satmar position, that "there were no miracles during the six-day-war and it that was all a natural event."

Why the Satmar Rebbe said what he said is a post in itself, but what gets me, is the out and out distortion of what the Satmar Rebbe actually said about the miracles of the six-day-war.

Frankfurter asserts that the Rebbe only dismissed the miracles "as a natural event" which is in itself very bizarre...

But the Rebbe went much much further than that, and actually said  in the 1967 Parshas Naso  Shalosh Seudois rant that the miracles came about from the  "devil" itself as he put it, ....... "the ס''מ!"
It's interesting to note that R' Pruzansky in his kindness, omitted this fact in his article.

But here is a transcribed page of the Rebbe's Parshas Naso Shaolosh Seuda rant  saying exactly that:

The Rebbe's position that the miracles of the six-day-war were from the "Samach Mem" the "devil" is bizarre on so many levels that it boggles the mind ....

The Rebbe says on many occasions that one shouldn't ask why  six million Jews were murdered (even though he also said it was "because of the Zionists) because "it came from G-D itself, and one shouldn't dwell on Hashem's secret ways" ..........so how does it square with the notion that when it comes to murdering Jews then its G-D himself but when it comes to saving Jews, G-D sends the "devil?"

Frankfurter goes into detail, and tries unsuccessfully with the proverbial "shoe horn" to fit the Rebbe's twisted understanding of miracles, and give it some semblance of sanity.

The Rebbe says that Hashem doesn't perform miracle for Zionists and people that are not observant... which flies in the face of stories in Tanach and how the Talmud understands miracles ...
and it flies in the face of what actually happened in 1948, 1956, 1967, 1972 and every single day in the State of Israel!

We all know that there were open miracles right before and during the six-day-war in 1967.
Here see a fascinating video of some of the miracles

Just to give you some written examples:
Colonel Uri Banari tells his eyewitness account of the conquest of Shechem:
"At the entrance to Shechem stood thousands of Arabs who waved white handkerchiefs and clapped their hands. In our naivete, we returned greetings and smiles. We entered the town and wondered: We are advancing and there is no disorder, no panic, the local armed guards stand by with rifles in their hands keeping order, and the crowds are cheering."
"Suddenly something happened which changed the entire picture in a moment. One of our officers wanted to disarm an Arab guard. When the latter refused, our officer fired a shot in the air. At that moment, all the crowds disappeared and streets emptied out. The Arabs began sniper fire."
"I didn't comprehend what had transpired. Only later, did I understand. The residents of Shechem thought that we were the Iraqi forces who were due to arrive from the direction of Jordan. The numerous enemy tanks were situated on the west side of Shechem. They woke up to their error very late."
"The Arabs were surprised; the fear of the Jews fell upon them. In Hevron, and in Shechem, in Jenin and in Jericho the Arabs were heavily armed. There was not even one small Arab village without arms. With great haste, the Arabs, however, hid their weapons and didn't consider using them. They raised their hands up, and flew white flags of surrender from every edifice. The fear of G-d fell upon hundreds of thousands of proud Arabs, who were filled with hatred and loathing for Israel. Only yesterday, they had sworn to fight until their last drop of blood." [From HaTekufa HaGedola, Rabbi Menachem Kasher, Chap. Sichu B’chol Niflaotav, p. 452, 5761 edition]

18 Egyptians Against Two IDF Soldiers Yisrael, a cab driver who was drafted to fight in the 6-Day War as part of the paratroop unit assigned with conquering the Straits of Tiran, told the following upon his return:
“The Israeli soldiers didn’t have to parachute out of the Nord airplanes which took them to the Tiran Straits. They landed like spoiled tourists in the airport, because the Egyptian regiment which was on guard there fled before the Israeli trips were visible on the horizon. After landing, I was sent with another reserves soldier, an electrician, to patrol the area. When we had distanced ourselves two kilometers, an Egyptian half track appeared before us filled with soldiers and mounted with machine guns on every side. We had only light weapons with a few bullets that couldn’t stop the half track for a second. We couldn’t turn back, so we stood there in despair, waited for the first shot, and for lack of a better idea, aimed our guns at them.

But the shots didn’t come.

The half track came to a halt, and we decided to cautiously approach it. We found 18 armed soldiers inside sitting with guns in hand, with a petrified look on their faces. They looked at us with great fear as though begging for mercy. I shouted ‘Hands up!’ As we were marching them and I had returned to a state of calm, I asked the Egyptian sergeant next to me, ‘Tell me, why didn’t you shoot at us?’ He answered, ‘I don’t know. My arms froze – they became paralyzed. My whole body was paralyzed, and I don’t know why.’
It turned out that these soldiers didn’t know that the Straits of Tiran were already in Israeli hands; why didn’t they eliminate us? I don’t have an answer. How can one say that G-d didn’t help us.”

The Finger of G-d
IDF Director of Operations Maj. Gen. Ezer Weizmann was asked by Mr. Levanon, the father of a fallen pilot, how he explains the fact that for 3 straight hours, Israel Air Force planes flew from one Egyptian airstrip to another destroying the enemy planes, yet the Egyptians did not radio ahead to inform their own forces of the oncoming Israeli attack?

Ezer Weizmann, later who later served as President of the State of Israel, was silent. He then lifted his head and exclaimed, "The finger of G-d."
[ibid, p. 445]
Haaretz Newspaper’s Bottom Line Following his blow-by-blow analysis, the military correspondent for the secular Haaretz Newspaper summed up the 6-Day War with the admission: “Even a non-religious person must admit this war was fought with help from heaven.” [ibid, p. 445]

A German Viewpoint A German journalist summarized: “Nothing like this has happened in history. A force including a 1000 tanks, hundreds of artillery cannons, many rockets and fighter jets, and a hundred thousand soldiers armed from head to toe was destroyed in two days in an area covering hundreds of kilometers filled with reinforced outposts and installations. And this victory was carried out by a force that lost many soldiers and much equipment, positions, and vehicles. No military logic or natural cause can explain this monumental occurrence.” [ibid, p. 446.]

Rav Nochum Eisenstein, Rav of Maalot Dafna, Says Frum Jews Should live on Government Programs

I was going to write about the interview that David Lichtenstein, on his WMCA radio program had with R' Nochum Eisenstein, however I just found a post by R' Slifkin that addresses this bizarre interview and so I will post his article instead.
Also please click on the "audio link" in the article; please have your "high blood pressure" pills nearby ...

by Rabbi Dr. Natan Slifkin,
What do charedi rabbinic leaders have to say about the problem of poverty in the charedi community? David Lichtenstein has a radio show in which he interviews prestigious figures in the charedi world. In the latest show, he interviews Rav Nochum Eisenstein, Rav of Maalot Dafna, who was part of Rav Elyashiv's inner circle, about the problem of charedi poverty.

Lichtenstein begins by asking Rav Eisenstein if there is a chillul Hashem in the number of charedim who live off government welfare. Rav Eisenstein emphatically denies that there is any chillul Hashem. He explains that the government has a responsibility to its citizens to enable them to live at a certain standard. Rav Eisenstein says that "the Israeli government, as bad as it is, and the American government, as good as it is," recognize that students deserve support. There is no problem to choose not to work and to live off benefits.

(Rav Eisenstein stresses the responsibility of the government to support people in kollel. He does not address the question of whether people have a responsibility to other citizens of their country to try to contribute to the economy rather than to try to drain it.)

The interviewer asks in surprise, "Is the Gemara's statement that a father has an obligation to teach his son a trade not relevant?" Definitely not, replies Rav Eisenstein, the Gemara is talking about a minor... if a father sends his kid to a school where he can learn the basics, to read and write, that's a trade... all those things you get from grade school. Many people got a higher education and still can't feed their large families of ten children. So getting an education is not the solution.

(While of course it is true that there are people with higher education who cannot make a living - especially if they have ten children - it is nevertheless also true that, generally speaking, there is a correlation between having a high school education and one's level of income. Rav Eisenstein's denial of this correlation is similar to that espoused by Rav Steinman in an address that he delivered down the road from me.)

Well then, asks the interviewer, what is the solution?

The solution, replies Rav Eisenstein, is the one given by Rav Chaim Kanievsky. The solution is not to talk about it. Countless families in Israel marry off their children and provide homes for them. It's a miracle, and once you start dissecting it, it won't happen anymore. (Yes, this is really what he says. Click on the link to hear the interview if you don't believe me.)

Rav Eisenstein further explains that the problem isn't even that big to begin with. Hardly anyone in the charedi community needs to collect charity door-to-door, he claims. Most people get by, thanks to the miracle.

So, there you have it. Charedi poverty is not a problem, and it should not be talked about, lest it become a problem!

ABBAS ADVISER AGREES WITH SATMAR SHITAH AND STATES THAT KOTEL CAN ONLY REMAIN UNDER MUSLIM SOVEREIGNTY

The Western Wall can only remain under Muslim sovereignty, a senior adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said during a Friday sermon, siding with the Shit'ah of R' Yoel Teitelbaum, Founder of the fanatic anti-Israel cult called Satmar.

“It is an Islamic endowment that absolutely cannot belong to non-Muslims,” Mahmoud Habash, Abbas’s religious affairs adviser said, referring to the wall. “It is our property and endowment. It is impossible to concede one millimeter of it.”

Jews (except for the feuding Teitelbaum brothers) . revere the wall as the remnant of a retaining wall that surrounds the site where their ancient temples once stood. Muslims regard the wall as the location where the Prophet Muhammed tethered his winged steed during his overnight journey from Mecca to Jerusalem.

Habash’s comments came approximately a week after Jabril Rajoub, a senior Fatah official, told Israel’s Channel 2 that the wall ought to remain under Jewish sovereignty.

“In the end, it must be under Jewish sovereignty. We have no argument about that. This is a Jewish holy place,” Rajoub said, in a statement that appeared to break with the official Palestinian position.

Hamas slammed Rajoub for what it said was “an official concession of a holy, national, and historic property.”

“These positions of Fatah leaders affirm that they are moving to liquidate the Palestinian cause and concede its national and religious properties,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassim said on June 4.

Rajoub subsequently attempted to walk back his statement, denying he ever said the wall must be under Jewish sovereignty.

“I said Jewish religious supervision,” Rajoub told PA television on June 6 even though he clearly stated “Jewish sovereignty” in the Channel 2 interview.
