Rav Yitzchak Zilberstein says that the late Rav Wosner is "Paskening from the Heavens"

Now we have a well respected "rational" Rav that says that the Egged 402 Bus accident happened because woman drive (even though the Bus Driver was a man) and he basis it on a psak from someone who is no longer alive and paskening "from the heavens"????????????
People want to know if Rav Wosner z"l is in heaven, how did he get to know about it?

He writes that if women drive they will be exposed to "sites and marketplace?" 
How about if they ride on a bus, won't that expose them to "sites and the marketplace?"
And aren't Tznius issues more prevalent in the buses then in a private car?

In Monsey, the "Community Connections" a magazine widely distributed, wants women and girls to hide in their very own houses on Purim, because Elderly Rabbonim and Bochrim may come to the house and get turned on!

I have a suggestion, why don't we just ship all women off to Gaza!

During a talk in beis medrash, Rav Zilberstein explained he has been approached by many people seeking an explanation of the Egged 402 bus accident that resulted in such tragedy for so many families.

Rabbi Zilberstein quotes the kuntres Rachmei HaRav from HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner ZT”L, in which Rav Wosner writes women should not get a drivers license. He explains that while this is somewhat commonplace today, it is not advised for the actual process of obtaining the license results in compromising her modesty as does actual driving of a vehicle by a woman for this exposes her to sites in the streets and marketplace.

“וליבי אומר לי שהוא אחד הגורמים של האסונות הגדולים שנעשים בדרכים בארץ ישראל המפילים כל כך חללים והרגו כבר טובים וצדיקים וזה מצורף לכל העבירות הנעשים בדרכים שמולידים המחבלים שמסכנים הדרכים”.

The kuntres adds “My heart tells me this is one of the causes of major catastrophes on the roadways of Eretz Yisrael that claim so many lives including many fine people, tzaddikim, and this coupled with the many [traffic] aveiros that made the roadways so dangerous”.

Rabbi Zilberstein adds as Posek Hador, Rav Wosner is giving piskei halacha from Shomayim and this is one of the causes that so many good people are killed.

He adds Rav Wosner in some exceptional cases permitted women to drive, for example a sick child in one’s home and a child with special needs that requires transportation to and from an institution but these exceptions were rare.

Bnei Brak Girls have to stay inside on Purim even-though Esther is the Heroine of Purim

This year, like every year, posters signed by the fanatic Rabbi of Bnei Brak, Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau, have been plastered throughout the city requesting that women, for modesty purposes, not congregate in the streets during the Purim holiday.

The Poster reads:

"From experience on what happens on Purim in the street, I am turning to the parents and educators in (the Land of) Israel to warn girls not to congregate in the streets of the city on Purim. They may celebrate indoors in their homes with their families,” 

This year, the poster’s message aggravated MK Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union) who demands that the Bnei Brak municipality remove what she calls the "signs of exclusion".

"The Purim miracle would not occur if it happened today, as Esther would be imprisoned in her house and so unable to rescue the people of Israel," wrote MK Svetlova on her Facebook page.

Svetlova claims that the Bnei Brak municipality should remove the posters which degrade Jewish culture, heritage and the great women in history,

 "Sadly, the prophetess Deborah, Yael the heroine and Ruth the Moabite would not even receive minor recognition should they have lived in today’s Haredi communities."

"Another thing to think about: If such behavior were customary during the time of the Megillah, we would not even hear about Queen Esther, and the miracle of Purim would probably never happen.

 I challenge (the public) to share this (Facebook) post, until the humiliating and excluding signs are replaced with calls for all the women and men of the city to celebrate the holiday. The holiday exists thanks to a woman who did not ‘stay away’ from the streets," she added.

Zionist State airlifts the remaining Yemenite Jews, While Satmar does nothing!

Where was Satmar? Why weren't they involved in the rescue? Where were the "machers" with the keys and the lights?

Some of Yemen’s last remaining Jews have arrived in Israel after a clandestine operation retrieved them from the war-torn country, an Israeli nonprofit group said Monday.

Over the last few days, 19 Yemenite Jews landed in Israel — among them a rabbi carrying a 500-year-old Torah scroll —according to the Jewish Agency, which works closely with the Israeli government and acts as a link to Jews around the world.

Hundreds of Jews have arrived in Israel from Yemen in recent years, but the most recent arrivals could mark the end of this immigration. The 50 remaining Jews in Yemen want to stay in the country, the agency said.

“This is a highly significant moment in the history of Israel,” said Natan Sharansky, the chairman of the Jewish Agency. “Yemenite Jewry’s unique, 2,000-year-old contribution to the Jewish people will continue in the State of Israel.”

The Jewish Agency would not disclose details of the secret mission, which it said was a “complex covert operation.” It named the mission “Miktze Teiman,” a Hebrew phrase taken from a biblical verse that roughly translates as “from the ends of Yemen.” Israeli Channel 2 TV said the U.S. State Department was involved, a report the Jewish Agency declined to comment on.

The new arrivals leave behind a civil war raging in Yemen and a spate of anti-Semitic attacks in the country, which the Jewish Agency said was endangering the community.

The Jews that have chosen to stay in Yemen mostly live in the capital, Sanaa, where they dwell in a closed compound next to the U.S. embassy and enjoy the protection of Yemeni authorities, the agency said.

Some 50,000 Jews have arrived to Israel from Yemen since 1949 and have grown to become an integral part of Israeli society.

R' Dovid Ahronowitz z"l Pulled from Hudson River

57 days after he was last seen alive, the body of the New Square man, Dovid Ahronowitz, has been recovered by the NYPD.

Yanky Meyer of Misaskim confirmed that the body of the missing 46 year old man was pulled from the Hudson River yesterday by members of a Bronx NYPD precinct and positively identified by dental records as the New Square resident this morning.

Members of the Chasidic community have been searching the Hudson River for weeks, In addition to hiring private divers and sophisticated equipment, searchers brought in the Skverer Dayan to perform a segula to find drowning victims, which pointed them to a particular spot near the George Washington Bridge.  The body of missing man was located near that area

“We have been out there searching every day,” said volunteer Heshy Gottdiener 

“We have had this on our head 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” added volunteer Yossi Margaretten.  “This is a big relief for us and the family can finally get comfort and sit shiva.  It is sad, but a big step.”

The unseasonably warm weather has caused water temperatures to rise, making conditions more favorable for bodies to surface.  Meyer said that four other bodies have been recovered from the Hudson over the past week.

Baalei Batim Waiting for Gedoilim To Condemn Mosdos that Prohibited the Internet Yet Took the Funds!

The Holy Mosdois Ha'Torah made sure to organize huge protests against the Internet!

But where are the protests against the Mosdos HaTorah that took  Federal Funds earmarked for computers and  for the school buildings to be wired for internet?

Isn't that hypocrisy? 
What are we teaching the children? 
Why haven't we heard ONE SINGLE gadol being "moichah" on this?

I'm not talking about where the funds actually went, that is for the FBI to investigate, I am just lamenting the fact that with one mouth, they condemn the internet, threatening the children with expulsion, and at the same time applying for the school to be wired for the internet?

Back in the days when I went to yeshiva, I remember well when the Roshei Yeshivah would make choizik from Baali Batim ....

As I grew up, I learned quickly that the Talmedei Chachumim were the "Baalei Batim" who knew far more than the "lomdeshe ama ratzim" in Kollel.I learned quickly that it was the Baalie Batim that were up 5 in the morning chapping a daf,(while the Kollel guys were fast asleep) running to work, reviewing the daf at lunch, and then after a hard days work, grabbing a bite and running back to shul for another shiur.
I learned rather quickly that the Baalei Batim were far more learned, far more honest and far more diligent in business dealing then the Rabbonim.

Now the naive Baalei Batim are wondering why the kollel guys that had the time to attend the anti-internet asifas ...are quiet and not saying one word in protest to the menahlim of Mosdos HaTorah that took millions to have the internet wired in the buildings!

The "baalei batim" are also wondering, "if the mosdos took the funds and didn't wire the schools, then why haven't the melamdim been paid in months?"
"Why did the "schar limud" go up if they had the millions from the internet grants?"
