Finally finally a godol speaks up this scourge, I hope it will have a lasting effect.
While reasonable, responsible people have been saying this for a very long time, this tzaddik finally had the guts to stand up to the pretentious goons that send these innocent kids out to their death , while they, the "gedoilim" sit comfortably home, planning and scheming their next nefarious move.
A senior ultra-Orthodox rabbi drew attention and controversy after delivering a forceful address following the death of a teenage protester who was fatally struck by a bus during a demonstration in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Michal Zilber spoke Saturday night at a gathering in the Ramot neighborhood, organized after a series of recent tragedies affecting the local community, including the death of Yossi Eisenthal, who was killed during protests against military conscription.
In his remarks, Zilber said responsibility for the fatal incident extended beyond the bus driver to include protesters who surrounded and provoked the vehicle in the moments before the crash. While stressing that the driver remained accountable, Zilber argued that those who intensified the confrontation shared moral responsibility for the outcome.
“Anyone who contributed to inflaming the situation must examine their actions,” he said, urging participants to seek guidance from their rabbinic leaders on how to atone for unintended harm.
Zilber framed his comments as a call for self-reflection rather than condemnation, saying the death should prompt communal soul-searching. He said the tragedy was not a failure of the victim, whom he described as spiritually elevated, but a challenge for the living to learn restraint and responsibility.
The remarks came amid heightened tensions following a string of demonstrations and clashes in Jerusalem. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.

The מכילתא פרשת בא names משה-יוסף-אליהו-חנניה-מישאל-עזריה & דניאל as figures who showed respect to evil kings.
The מדרש תנחומא כי תשא ו adds another one עדו הנביא respecting ירבעם
The Chasam Sofer in שו"ת חו"מ ק"צ " classifies showing respect to heads of state (even רשעים) as a "מצוה רבה הגדולה for two reasons.
a) It's common sense to do so
b) it's proper manners.
(מצוה שכליות ונימוסיות)
The חת"ס adds that "being disrespectful to the authorities is
just as bad and אסור as not putting on Tefillin,"
In שו"ת או"ח קנ"ט the Chasam Sofer writes that respecting the
מלכות is a מצוה דאורייתא
As we find so in the תורה. Moishe was commanded
to respect פרעה, the evil king.
The מחצית השקל רכ”ד סק”ז seems to argue on the חת"ס and holds
that it is only a מדת דרך ארץ
The present situation, where almost daily an illegal
demonstration breaks out. Where The מחנכים educate young boys
to behave like Mr. Schwartz's boys from Harlem, by blocking ambulances, buses, & cars, burning garbage dumps, and
shouting "Natzim - Shiktza etc. is definitely not the מדת דרך ארץ
we are required to practice even against a מלכות הרשעה.
At these demonstrations, there is a likelihood of being עובר on numerous איסורי דאורייתא.
Those who will come up with סברות & excuses why
the איסורי דאורייתא at demonstrations are not applicable
they can surely use the same סברות & have no
issue with conscription into צה"ל.
Finally, a voice of reason We need more gedolim to join him
Hopefully, there’s more with the same opinion
Years ago I had a patient who was hit by a car. She stepped out from between two parked cars onto a busy street and the car driving had literally no time to stop. Fortunatley for her, it was heavy traffic so he was moving slowly. She was knocked down but no broken bones or head injury. And for the next several years she despaired because she tried to sue him and even the police said "What did you expect when you essentially jumped in front of his car?"
Yes, the bus driver bears some responsibility but to expect him to sit there and meditate while howling savages were attacking his bus is just not reasonable.
The real murderers and blood on their hands, are non other than the so called GEDOLIM , REBBES, and ROSHEY YESHIVOS, who sent their howling savages into the streets to riot and cause mayhem.
They need to be arrested and given long prison sentences
