Putin: “We Won’t Help Iran — Israel Is Practically a Russian-Speaking Country”
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow is refraining from directly aiding Iran militarily due to its strong ties with Israel.
“Nearly two million Russian speakers live there,” he said.
“Israel is practically a Russian-speaking country.”

The new threat is Turkey.
The original threat was Iraq, remember? Then Bush II took them out and suddenly it was all about Iran. Oops. Now Iran is out and who does that leave? Um, Turkey.
So no, the Russians will not doing anything to Israel but they just might ensure Turkey has the weaponry to do it for them.
