bde,,, but where were they coming from at 4:30am??
probably just unwinding eating chulent , its not uncommon for teenagers to hang out thursday night. I would say 99% of teenagers sometimes hang out till early hours, weve all done it as teenagers, car accidents happen all time with adults and young people but in general I do feel that the frum community as a whole should put more emphasis on driving safety with cars, scooters, bikes and it has to come from rabbis and adults, everyone in a rush . Im not saying that this accident was reckless but I do feel that we as a community have room to improve on safety and it has to come from the rabbis who from what I see the rabbis themselves drive like maniacs , as they are always running late in a rush, young bochrim and girls in general drive very fast and feel that safety , speed limits seatbelts, are a joke .
