1. The Crusades Were “Holy” Wars
The Crusades were a series of “holy” wars carried out by European Christians primarily in the 11th-13th centuries. Their stated goal was to free Jerusalem from the Muslims, whom they viewed as infidels, and establish a Christian kingdom there. On their way to the Holy Land, the zealous mobs pounced on the opportunity to rid themselves of the “infidels” in their midst—the Jews, viciously decimating many Jewish communities.

Far from being a grassroots movement, the Crusades were called for and directed by the Popes themselves. Although they did not openly advocate for the murder of Jews, many church leaders were quick to turn a blind eye when these atrocities did occur.

Politics played a large role in the papal decision to launch a crusade. For centuries, the Church had been at odds with the monarchs of Western Europe, each side jockeying for power. What greater strategy to undermine royal authority than to call for a religious war, uniting the masses under the Pope’s banner? As for the soldiers, they joined the Crusades as an easy way to get rich off plunder—and to obtain the Church’s promise of eternal salvation and automatic forgiveness for all their sins.
4. Soldiers Were Joined by Mobs of Peasants
Initially, the plan was for the Crusades to consist of armies of professional soldiers on an organized expedition to the Holy Land. But as religious hysteria spread throughout Europe, more and more peasants and commonfolk joined the Crusaders’ ranks. With tens of thousands of people joining the cause, any sense of order and discipline had now disappeared, and the masses, spurred by religious zeal and natural greed, felt free to act as they wished. In many cases, these mobs overwhelmed the forces of local rulers who attempted to protect their Jewish subjects.

The photographer, who refused to identify himself or deny that he works for *Al Jazeera,* was invited to the parade by the "Bet'nickes" , following the custom of far-left organizations that post provocations against IDF soldiers in Israel.
Ashkenazi managed to prevent the photographer from documenting the Palestinian flag parade, and for many minutes he confronted the photographer, when, surprisingly, the one who tried to help the foreign photographer was *the ultra-Orthodox photographer, Yaakov Lederman*, who also during the year pastes the Pashkevils and the 'Kol Kora' letters of the fanatics, and is in close cooperation with them.
After a few minutes, dozens of other residents joined Ashkenazi and began to expel the Arab photographer.
The person who rescued the Al-Jazeera Photographer as mentioned, is Laderman, who was also invited by the extremists to document the parade.

The Charedi daily Yated Ne'eman on Thursday morning roused a storm after its front page headline reported a "multi-casualty" incident in Gaza - before the matter was cleared for publication by the IDF.
The front page of the Lithuanian-haredi newspaper boasted a red background with the words, "Not cleared for publication: A multi-casualty incident." The newspaper was distributed before the incident, which killed five haredi 'Chetz' soldiers and injured several others, was cleared for publication.
Galatz journalist Doron Kadosh responded; "Whoever does not know the stomachaches, the stress, and the pressure of the families at home, when rumors start to come in; the hours of sleepless nights, of worry and fear' the phone calls to anyone who might have a drop of information - will not understand.

The Biden Administration’s weapons embargo to Israel may be unraveling on contact with strategic and political reality, and not a moment too soon. Credit to Congress for calling out the Administration’s dissembling.
The House this week will vote on a resolution that “condemns the Biden Administration’s decision to pause certain arms transfers to Israel” as the text says. The White House claims it is only holding up a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs it fears would harm civilians in Rafah. It is also trumpeting a new $1 billion weapons package for Israel that includes tank ammunition and tactical vehicles. But that package is in nascent stages and could be months or years from arriving.
Press reports suggest the Administration is also pocket-vetoing crucial weapons such as GPS guidance kits for bombs, known as Joint Direct Attack Munitions, which reduce civilian casualties in urban warfare. The Administration isn’t owning up to what it’s doing, apparently, even to the Members of Congress, it is supposed to inform about arms transfers.
19 Year-old Shoots his parents because He Didn't Like How His Parents were "Mechaneich" Him!
An Arizona teenager “upset over his upbringing” tried to kill his parents hours after Mother’s Day ended – and was disappointed to learn they both survived the sick attack “he had been planning for years,” according to authorities.
Jeremiah Estel Blair, 19, allegedly shot his parents inside their home in Chandler, about 20 miles from Phoenix, Monday morning, police said. The pair were rushed to the hospital, where they were treated for their wounds.
The unkempt-looking young man, who was arrested without incident at the scene, quickly admitted to the shooting that was apparently years in the making, courts documents obtained by Fox 10 alleged. He also whined about his childhood.
“[Blair] reported being upset over his upbringing and he felt he was not treated as he should have been as a child,” Chandler police detectives wrote, per the station.
“[Blair] stated he had been planning for years to kill [the victims].”
His initial plan was to carry out the shooting on Mother’s Day, but instead waited hours later, court docs stated.
When Blair’s father came downstairs around 5:30 a.m., his son was waiting with a gun and video camera to record the shooting, AZ Family reported. He told his father about “this day coming” before he shot him in the forearm, court documents outlined, according to the Arizona Republic.
Blair’s father ran back to the bedroom, but his mother came out of the room to see what was happening and was shot in the chest, the outlet reported.
While he knew in the immediate aftermath of the shooting his father was likely going to live, he was happy when he thought his mother was going to die, the court documents alleged.
“Defendant showed remorse for the fact that his parents will live,” court documents stated, per Fox 10.
“Defendant knew [his] actions [were] wrong, but still attempted to shoot and kill his parents.”
Blair is facing two counts of first-degree attempted murder, cops said. He remains in custody.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded this evening to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant's call for him to declare that Israel will not exercise governing control of the Gaza Strip following the ongoing war with the Hamas terrorist organization.
"I am not ready to replace Hamastan with Fatahstan. The first condition for the day after is to eliminate Hamas and do it without excuses," Netanyahu said.
The Prime Minister's statement comes in response to an address by Gallant in which the Defense Minister declared, "I must reiterate - I will not agree to the establishment of Israeli military rule in Gaza. Israel must not establish civilian rule in Gaza."
"I call on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to make a decision and declare that Israel will not establish civilian control over the Gaza Strip, that Israel will not establish military governance in the Gaza Strip, and that a governing alternative to Hamas in the Gaza Strip will be raised immediately," Gallant said.
Gallant's address was condemned by Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who said, "The people of Israel are not willing to be humiliated. The people of Israel are not ready to be led into the Oslo 2 process, which will lead Israel to another disaster. The people of Israel will not agree to hand over Gaza to the control of the Palestinian Terrorist Authority."
"The people of Israel know that Israel's security will only be achieved by determination to win, and not by relying on promises of peace from the vile terrorists and their various organizations," said Minister Levin.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich also condemned Gallant's remarks, accusing the Defense Minister of announcing "his support for the establishment of a Palestinian terrorist state as a reward for terrorism and Hamas."

Today the Beit Shemesh Police held a show of determination and strength when they prevented an incident of violence by the extremists from Rama B who tried to carry out a Palestinian flag parade in the Rama D neighborhood, on the occasion of Independence Day.
To my astonishment, *the extremists brought with them on the bus a Palestinian photographer,* wearing a vest that bore the word PRESS, to document the events, as the extreme left organizations do when they come to make provocations against IDF soldiers in the Palestinian Territories.
The police thwarted the demonstration right at its beginning, and crowds of residents, equipped with Israeli flags, prevented the Palestinian photographer from accompanying the extremists.
A small number of extremists who continued with the procession on Amoraim Boulevard, were accompanied by hundreds of residents, most of them with Israeli flags who played at high volume the song "Am Yisrael Chai" by Eyal Golan.*
While *Commander Alon Weinstein* came to his senses and took a hard hand against the extremists - it was *Mayor Shmulik Greenberg* who proved that he was spineless, when he surrendered to a handful of terrorist supporters in ultra-Orthodox clothing, who vandalized Israeli flags.
Greenberg "smeared" residents who approached him about rehanging the flags , that the extremists removed, with convoluted statements, to avoid attacks against him, relying that " Israeli short memory". Thinking that we will forget!
