Even on Oct 7 the Satmar-Mayor Mamzarani Can't hold himself back from Criticizing Israel the only Jewish State the size of New Jersey

Outrage over Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s statement marking the third anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack continued to grow Wednesday, with thousands of people taking to social media to condemn the mayor’s remarks.

The criticism, which began shortly after Mamdani released his statement, continued to spread throughout the day on X, drawing responses from elected officials, political figures, Jewish community advocates and others.

Mamdani acknowledged that Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 people in the Oct. 7, 2023, attack, calling the day “profoundly painful.” But he also used his statement to criticize Israel’s military campaign in Gaza and accuse Israel of genocide.

Steven Fulop, the former mayor of Jersey City, said the anniversary should be focused on remembering the victims and standing with their families and survivors.

“The Mayor’s decision to use this solemn anniversary to advance divisive political arguments was inappropriate and unnecessarily inflammatory,” Fulop wrote on X. He said that as antisemitism remains a serious concern, New York’s elected leaders should be working to bring the city together rather than creating further division.

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., called Mamdani’s statement “absolutely atrocious,” accusing the mayor of antisemitism and anti-Americanism.

“There is a reason both Democrats and Republicans are condemning this absolutely tone deaf and outrageous statement,” Stefanik wrote on X.

She said Oct. 7, 2023, was the bloodiest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust and noted that innocent civilians, including Americans, were among those killed and attacked by Hamas.

Saritha Komatireddy, a former federal prosecutor and candidate for New York attorney general, also criticized Mamdani, saying he could have used the anniversary to honor those killed, raped, tortured and kidnapped by Hamas.

“Instead, he used their day of remembrance to attack Israel and accuse the Jewish state of genocide,” Komatireddy wrote.

She said Oct. 7 should be a day to remember the victims, condemn Hamas and stand with New York’s Jewish community.

Jamie Metzl, a liberal Democrat and human rights advocate, said Mamdani was increasingly positioning himself as an “enemy of the Jewish community of New York City.”

“It pains me to say this,” Metzl wrote, describing himself as a liberal Democrat, human rights advocate, New Yorker and human being. He accused Mamdani of repeatedly expressing what he characterized as bigotry.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman also condemned the mayor’s statement, saying Mamdani had “defiled the memory” of innocent victims.

“October 7 was about Palestinian murderers and rapists and Jewish and non-Jewish civilian victims,” Friedman wrote. “There is no ‘other side’ to this story.”

Former Trump adviser and conservative commentator Mark Levin also attacked Mamdani, writing that the mayor “means what he says” and labeling him a “jihadist.”

Political commentator John Cardillo similarly called Mamdani a “terrorist enabler” in a post on X.

The criticism was not limited to Republicans and conservative voices.

Alex Vindman, a former U.S. Army officer and former Democratic congressional candidate, said Mamdani’s statement could hurt Democrats politically ahead of the midterm elections.

“Mayor Mamdani, normally an astute political actor, did a real disservice to DEMs and Dem DSA candidates immediately before midterm elections,” Vindman wrote. He said the mayor had “ignited controversy” at a time when Democrats were appealing to moderate and independent voters.

The growing backlash comes as New York marks the anniversary with vigils and memorial events honoring victims of the Hamas attack.

Mamdani’s supporters have defended his statement, arguing that it acknowledged the horror of Oct. 7 while also recognizing Palestinian suffering during the war that followed.

But critics say the mayor’s decision to include extensive criticism of Israel in his Oct. 7 statement was inappropriate and overshadowed the commemoration of the attack’s victims.

The reaction continued to intensify across X throughout Wednesday, with thousands of users posting comments, sharing Mamdani’s statement and criticizing the mayor’s handling of the anniversary.

The controversy has placed renewed attention on Mamdani’s relationship with New York’s Jewish community and his positions on Israel, Hamas and the war in Gaza as he marks his first Oct. 7 anniversary as mayor.

Was the "Ben-Teirah" Yair Levy arrested for Draft Evasion or having Drugs?

Yeshiva students or drug smokers? -

Yair Levy in the first publication: The yeshiva guy who was arrested in Eilat for desertion and because of which the extremist factions are threatening to set the country on fire, was arrested together with another friend inside the apartment of a minority drug dealer.

And the arrest initiated was not for desertion at all, but then it was also clarified that he was a deserter.

According to the detainees, they sat and had a cigarette with a young Arab who was arrested for violating house arrest, and then were followed by inspectors  and that's how they were arrested

Not all Gedoilim Wear Frocks

Libi’s incredible story of unflinching courage in the face of death and the horrifying barbarism of Palestinian Hamas has been shared the world over.

Millions have been blessed and inspired by her calm, cool, collected spirit and voice in those final terrifying moments—final moments where she showed no fear and chose to focus on what mattered most:
Her LOVE for her family.

Because that’s Israel.  They love to live, and they live to love.  Israel and her People truly are the fulfillment of God’s covenant with Abraham:

“I will make you into a GREAT NATION, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.  I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and ALL PEOPLES ON EARTH WILL BE BLESSED THROUGH YOU.”
— Genesis 12:2-3

God bless and keep the People of Israel.  May the memories of all the victims of the October 7th Massacre be a blessing forever.

OCTOBER 7, 2023:  SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.

Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.

She was shot while fleeing the party.  At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:

“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood.  I’m going to die.”

Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.

She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:

“I’m going to die.  I just want you to listen to me.

I love you, Yariv.  You’re the best father I could have asked for.

Mom, stop screaming.  Just listen to me.  You are the best mother we could have ever had.  Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.

Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together.  I love you.

My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”

When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.

With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.

“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.

While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.

It didn’t stop.

It kept going, until the call was disconnected.

And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.

Libi died with LOVE on her lips:  love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.

Her memory will forever be a blessing.

NEVER FORGET.

NEVER FORGIVE.

Newly released recordings reveal the final hours of Amit Mann, a Magen David Adom paramedic and paramedic course instructor, who was murdered on October 7, 2023, by terrorists in Kibbutz Be’eri, as she desperately tried to save victims of the attack and herself.

The call recordings were published by Channel 12 on Monday and piece together Mann’s attempts to get help from police and from Magen David Adom as Hamas terrorists closed in on Be’eri’s dental clinic, where Mann had arrived shortly after 7 a.m. and set up a makeshift hospital for the wounded.

During the first call to the police, her voice quivered as she tried to explain the magnitude of what was happening.

“I don’t understand what is going on,” she said to the dispatcher. “There are a lot of wounded people here, and there are a lot of dead people here. There is still active shooting here, and there are no forces that can evacuate the wounded?”

“I think there are still terrorists walking around, these are the reports we are receiving from the entire kibbutz,” she continued. “What can we do? Is the army here? Are there police officers here?”

The dispatcher answered that they were aware of the situation and urged her to keep calm, stay inside and not to go outside. “We’re on our way to control the situation,” he added.

“Just tell me you’re here,” she answered in distress. He tried to calm her, telling her to “take it easy” and that “slowly they would try to take control.”

Amit’s sister, Haviva Mann, told Channel 12 in Monday’s segment that hearing the recordings broke her heart. After that particular call, she said, Amit pulled herself together and helped people in the facility.

She cared for them while also documenting nearby gunshots during the calls as the attack on the kibbutz unfolded. Mann was trapped in the Be’eri dental clinic with the injured and dead for many hours before the terrorists succeeded in breaking in.

The release of the recordings comes after efforts by families of victims to access records of their loved ones during their final moments. Hamas terrorists led an invasion of southern Israel on October 7, 2023, that killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians. They also abducted 251 hostages.

According to Channel 12, Mann made a final recorded call to police at 10:41 a.m. with a plea for help to come, after making seven calls to MDA.

“Listen, there’s a terrorist infiltration in Be’eri,” Mann said. “Get an ambulance or police here! Urgent! Urgent!” She told the MDA dispatcher that he was talking to a colleague of his, a fellow MDA paramedic.

During another conversation with MDA, she explained that she didn’t have much equipment to care for people. Then she said: “Quiet, there is a man here.” There was still shooting going on, she added.

The dispatcher encouraged her to keep doing what she could. “Amit, you’re great. You’re on it, OK?” she said to Mann.

Mann’s family has called on the government to create a database of all phone calls made by victims to various authorities during the onslaught, after they learned by chance about three calls Mann made that were previously unknown to them.

Channel 12 reported in February that Mann’s sister, Haviva, had discovered the existence of the recordings when she contacted the MDA ambulance service to receive information on the exact times her sibling made phone calls to its hotline on October 7 to update the presentation on Amit’s story that she was giving to audiences around the country.

In their response, MDA gave information on the seven conversations Amit had with the MDA hotline. Until then, Haviva Mann only knew of four conversations, prompting the demand for a database.

Shortly after 2 p.m. on October 7,  Haviva was able to call Amit, and that would be the last time the two of them would speak on the phone. Amit told her that she had been shot before the call disconnected.

Mann ultimately was killed in the makeshift triage center, alongside Dr. Daniel Levi and three members of the kibbutz security team — Eitan Hadad, Shachar Zemach and Gil Buyum.

In all, 101 civilians and 31 security personnel were killed in Be’eri — a community of around 1,000 residents — and a further 30 residents and two additional civilians were taken hostage from there by the Hamas terrorists. At least 125 homes in the community were damaged and destroyed amid the fighting.

Haviva Mann said the recordings are intimate but important to publish, saying they were needed to bear witness at a time when the government was still refusing to set up a state commission of inquiry into the massacre.

“Certainly at this time, when they try so hard to move away from the truth as time goes by and we don’t get answers. We’re still in a loop of that day, stuck there,” she said.

She said “those who bore some responsibility that day sitting in office” are focused on “continuing on to the next election terms.”

“There are no requests for forgiveness, no taking responsibilities and no lessons learned so that this won’t happen again,” Mann continued. “All this evidence must be published.”

Rabbi Landau wondering why Arabs don’t get together and take Israel as an another Arab state

Last time he said something outrageous like this, everyone was told that it was taken out of context, well now we hear the entire story and that is exactly what he said!

There no way that Rav Landau knows what's going on, he is totally disconnected and removed from the rest of Klall Yisrael. But that doesn't stop Ass'konim from listening to Rav Landau's rants and then broadcasting this!

How does any thinking person say that it would be better to live under a Muslim flag!

This outrageous statement of Rav Landau is all over the media now, and mocking him! This will benefit the New Charedie party as reasonable people are totally fed up!

From a reader:

After the Holocaust, from 1945 to 1948, there were close to half a million Jewish displaced persons in Europe, many of whom had nowhere to go and no country willing to take them in. Then, with Hashem’s help, the State of Israel was established and welcomed them with open arms. Yereim and shleimim, together with Jews of all backgrounds, danced in the streets when the state was declared. It would require quite a bit of speculation to maintain that the state of Torah and Yiddishkeit in Eretz Yisroel today would be anything resembling what it is now had the country come under Arab rule.

The statement heard this evening from the leader of the Lithuanian public is a very harsh and painful statement.

Especially in a week like this, when almost every secular or religious-nationalist person knows a family member, friend, neighbor, or acquaintance who fell in the war. After three years in which families and children spent countless nights alone at home, while Dad was on reserve duty, after hundreds of reserve duty days, injuries, bereavement, and countless other battles that people fought for the people and the state.

Our rabbis educated us to respect scholars, and therefore I will not write a word here about the rabbi himself.

But we do need to talk about the true great madness.

An overwhelming majority of the state-appointed rabbis elected today in the State of Israel are students of Haredi yeshivas.

Read that sentence again.

The State of Israel appoints rabbis for decades, pays them salaries from the public coffers, and grants them state status, while many of them were educated in a world that does not see the state as the beginning of our redemption's sprouting, does not see the army as a sacred national value, and does not see the state's institutions as something to take responsibility for and be full partners in building.

One can greatly respect the Haredi Torah world.

One can learn a great deal from it.

But there is an enormous difference between respecting it and repeatedly handing over the state rabbinate of the State of Israel to it.

This is simply absurd.

Religious Zionism built the state, fought for it, buries its sons for it, serves in all its institutions, and in the end repeatedly allows others to shape the state's spiritual face.

This is not a small failure.

This is an abandonment of one of the most important assets of the State of Israel for generations.

Now watch Arabs blowing up an ambulance with 18 people inside, and Rav Landau says that the Army is there to serve their own interests ?????

Why would Close Trump administration officials who are supposed to be loyal to President Trump attend a secret event with Obama and Biden officials who spied on President Trump?

Mom on hijacked flydubai flight with four young daughters had one instruction for them: ‘I’ll never forget’

A mother who was sitting with her four young daughters on the flydubai plane when it was hijacked by a suspected terrorist says she had only one thing to say to her kids: Pray for a miracle.

Lital Hirschl-Shahar, 39, said chaos broke out on Wednesday’s flydubai Flt. 1073 bound for Israel when someone near the front of the cabin started yelling that the pilot was under attack and that a large amount of blood was all over the cockpit.

“It all happened so fast, and the plane just started dropping down,” Hirschl-Shahar told The Post. “It was so scary and crazy … We all thought we were going to die.

“I was talking to God nonstop, believing prayer was the only thing that could save us. I told my daughters to pray, too.

“We needed a miracle, and I couldn’t help but think, ‘Is this how you’re going to die? Is this how your girls are going to die?’ ” the mom said.

Hirschl-Shahar said she was returning from a family vacation in Singapore and Thailand with her four girls — ages 14, 11, 7 and 5 — when co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami attempted to hijack the plane.

Pilot Smit Machchhar, who was stabbed multiple times during the attack, fought off al-Hammami long enough to open the cockpit door, alerting everyone to the crisis taking place.

“We heard a lady in business class shouting. She sounded so terrified, in a way I’ll never forget,” Hirschl-Shahar recalled.

Plumber Yaniv Hayun, who was seated behind the panicked mother and her daughters, was among the men to immediately spring to action to help the pilot and stop al-Hammami, who was allegedly attacking the control panel to take down the plane.

During the confrontation, the plane took a nose dive, dropping about 18,000 feet within the span of 12 minutes.

But Hayun and his fellow passengers were able to quickly restrain al-Hammami and provide first aid to Machchhar, with the plumber stabilizing the flight by using what he learned from the Canadian flight disaster documentary series, “Mayday.”

Two off-duty pilots were also onboard and helped the plane conduct an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, with the aircraft arriving safely despite damage to its rudder.

“It was just a miracle wrapped in a miracle wrapped in a miracle,” Hirschl-Shahar said.

The family is now home recovering from the ordeal, with Hirschl-Shahar’s 7-year-old suffering a fever from the stress of the event.

Hirschl-Shahar said she’s also had to confront comments from social media claiming that the attempted hijacking was staged, undermining the terror that she and the 173 other passengers have had to endure.
