The Man Who Changed Israel’s History.... Menachem Begin
I had the zchus to see Menachem Begin twice—both times in New York.
The first was in 1962, when he was still in the opposition. He came to Crown Heights and spoke on a Friday night in a large shul called Choivevei Torah. I was just a child, but I still remember the overflowing crowds and his Dvar Torah on Parshas Shemos. He spoke in both Yiddish and English, and the atmosphere was electric.
The second time was in 1978, when he was already Prime Minister and spoke at the Hilton.
This video is truly worthwhile. It portrays a great man in a deeply personal way—and it depicts a true “Son of Klall Yisrael.”
Yurzeit Of the Ohr Hachayim Ha'Kodosh Today
Chaim ibn Attar, also known as Or HaChaim, was a Moroccan Sephardi rabbi, Talmudist, and kabbalist born in Salé in 1696.
Revered for his Torah scholarship and holiness, he authored the famed Commentary on Chumash Or HaChaim, blending peshat, derash, remez, and sod, which gained wide esteem, including among early Hasidim.
After leading yeshivot in Morocco and Italy, he settled in Jerusalem in 1742, founding Yeshivat Knesset Yisrael, and died there in 1743.

Trump Stops Israel from an all-out Hezbollah elimination in Lebanon
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz blamed President Trump on Monday for stopping the Jewish state from eliminating all of Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Explaining to reporters that having a “partnership” with the US “has certain constraints,” Katz said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “stood bravely” against Trump’s demands that Israel Defense Forces leave Lebanon through four phone calls.
”Iran constantly pressured the United States to pressure Israel, in order to stop this,” he said, according to a translated transcript of the briefing obtained by The Post. “At that time, we were attacking all of Lebanon, I remind you.”

“Hezbollah … in a panic pressured Iran to connect the arenas,” he added, referring to the linkage of the Lebanon front to the US-Iran cease-fire.
Netanyahu ultimately agreed not to “take down buildings” in Beirut” — something Katz opposed — but pushed to continue “surgical attacks.”
”I’m sorry for that connection [of the cease-fire extending to Lebanon,] but it was an American interest, that [Trump] really, really wanted to promote the possibility of negotiations with Iran, etc., and he saw this as an obstacle to it.”
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz blamed President Trump from stopping Israel from defeating Hezbollah in Lebanon.
That’s when the plan changed to contain IDF troops to southern Lebanon, where Israel and Lebanon agreed last week Israeli forces can remain until Hezbollah is defeated.
Ex-Con Deri Criticizes Ben Gvir for bringing a bill that the banning the Antisemetic Red Cross from Visiting Arab murderers in prison
If Deri told me it was “night outside,” I’d step out and check for myself. Just read his latest statement claiming he “supports the bill.” It’s laughable. Deri couldn’t care less about the Red Cross bill — his only goal is to keep an entire segment of Israeli society out of the army.
And now the Charedim have launched a coordinated attack on Ben Gvir. This week, AMI’s resident “Willing Executioner,” Yossi Krausz, published a five‑page hit piece on him, complete with an unflattering photo designed to make Ben Gvir look like a madman.
They’re terrified because Ben Gvir is a shomer Torah u’mitzvos who follows his own rabbanim — and every seat he gains chips away at traditional Charedi influence in the Knesset.
The new Anglo olim are voting for Ben Gvir. In the last two national elections, Beit Shemesh voted overwhelmingly for him. The Charedim see the dam cracking, and they’re desperately trying to plug the leak, and that’s why they brought in Yossi Krausz from AMI:
"Shas fully supports the bill to block Red Cross visits to Nukhba terrorists. We suggested to Minister Ben Gvir that the bill be brought forward on Wednesday so that we could vote in favor immediately following the passage of the Basic Law: Torah Study, as agreed upon with the Coalition Chairman. Regrettably, Ben Gvir insisted on bringing it to the floor today. It appears that pulling a political stunt is more important to him than actually passing this vital legislation,"
"The bill to prevent Red Cross visits to imprisoned terrorists is coming to a vote today after Shas requested to delay it last week. Contrary to Shas’s claims, the bill cannot be brought to a vote on Wednesday due to opposition from the minority bloc - meaning it would subsequently become irrelevant."
"Regrettably, Shas is choosing to compromise Israel's security and allow an antisemitic organization to visit Nukhba terrorists, spreading a 'Sde Teiman-style' blood libel against our heroic prison guards and the State of Israel. It seems the Deri-Tibi deal is back in full force. A complete disgrace,"

Insane!! Trump Presses Israel To Approve Gaza Reconstruction Without Hamas Disarmament
The United States has presented Israel with a memorandum outlining a series of commitments it wants approved in writing as part of its plan for post-war Gaza, even if Hamas has not agreed to disarm, Kan News reported.
The document reflects the Trump administration’s push to move forward with its Gaza plan while preventing a return to full-scale fighting. Under the proposal, Israel would permit infrastructure, water, electricity, and other reconstruction projects in designated areas of the Gaza Strip. It would also commit to transferring residents from Hamas-controlled areas into areas administered by the Peace Council by the end of this year.
The proposal also calls for Israel to allow the construction of a headquarters for the technocratic government, approve bases for the international stabilization force, restore the European Hospital by allowing construction materials, medical equipment, and laboratories into Gaza, and establish a secure access corridor to the facility. In addition, Israel would transfer Palestinian Authority tax revenues related to Gaza to the Peace Council.
Another major provision calls for Israel to begin recognizing the technocratic government as the governing authority in Gaza. The document envisions transferring the Palestinian sides of the Kerem Shalom and Rafah crossings to its control, allowing it to move freely for official purposes, authorizing digital payments and fuel distribution, permitting the operation of 4G cellular service in Gaza, and offering conditional amnesty to individuals who surrender their weapons and commit to peace.
In return, the Trump Peace Council would assume responsibility for Gaza’s supply chain, fuel distribution, and payment systems in an effort to significantly reduce Hamas’ ability to collect taxes. The council would also oversee security and public order through an international stabilization force supported by an unarmed Palestinian civilian guard.
At the same time, the document states that Israel would retain the right to take whatever actions are necessary to protect its security if Hamas refuses to disarm. Overall, the proposal signals that Washington wants Israel to advance an alternative governing structure in Gaza and avoid a renewed military campaign, even if Hamas does not immediately surrender its weapons.
Chardeie Rav Causes Huge Chillul Hashem at Bnei-Brak anti-draft Rally calling The IDF Chief of Staff, ימח שמו וזכרו
This is nothing new by Charedeim, they throw the words ימח שמו וזכרו around to whomever they don't like, and they did this to Harav Hagoen Avraham Yitzchok Kook z'L and other rabbanim that went against their twisted agendas! But now they hit a new low, cursing someone who is there to protect them so they can protest and disrupt the lives of other Jews!
I don't know who this R' Aryeh Yazdi is but Gehenim is not too hot for the likes of guys like him!
Breaking: Shas and the Moetzes Gedoiei Ha'Torah just put out a statement severely condemning Aryeh Yazdi
Defense Minister Yisrael Katz strongly condemned remarks made against IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir during Monday night’s anti-draft rally in Bnei Brak, declaring that “red lines must not be crossed.”
The comments were made by Rav Aryeh Yazdi during the mass protest against the arrest of Yeshiva Bochrim, where he referred to the IDF chief in harsh terms, saying, “The The IDF Chief of Staff, ימח שמו וזכרו”…
Katz responded by praising Zamir and the IDF’s leadership, stating, “Even when there are public disagreements, it is forbidden to cross red lines of incitement and attacks against those who bear the heavy responsibility for the security of the State of Israel.”
“The Chief of Staff and IDF commanders are leading our soldiers on every front in the defense of the State of Israel and the security of its citizens,” Katz added. “Any incitement against them is unacceptable, dangerous, and worthy of condemnation.”
The rally, attended by thousands, was held to protest the arrests of yeshiva bochurim over military conscription.
During the gathering, former Sephardic Chief Rabbi, Hagaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef declared that if a yeshiva bochur is arrested, “the entire yeshiva should come outside the military prison and recite Selichos,” adding that “wars are won not because of Iron Dome, but because of Torah, the bochurim, and the avreichim.”
At the conclusion of the event, some participants chanted “Deri is a traitor” and “Deri, go home” as Shas MKs attended the rally. Rabbanim present called on the crowd to stop the chants.
A group of demonstrators later descended onto Route 4 in an apparent attempt to block traffic before police intervened.
