Iran’s intelligence minister, Esmail Khatib Eliminated

 BREAKING: Defense Minister Israel Katz announces that Iran’s intelligence minister, Esmail Khatib, was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike in Tehran overnight.

The strike, first reported by Iran International and later confirmed by an Israeli official, marks another major hit on the Iranian regime’s senior leadership as Israel expands its campaign inside Iran.

Katz also said “significant surprises” are expected today that will escalate the war against Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon, adding that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have authorized the IDF to eliminate any senior Iranian figure without requiring further approval.

Russia providing Iran with intelligence to target US Forces in Middle East

 Russia is increasing military support to Iran by providing satellite intelligence and improved drone technology, helping Tehran better target U.S. and allied forces in the Middle East. 

Moscow is also advising Iran on drone tactics based on its battlefield experience in Ukraine, while benefiting strategically from the prolonged conflict through higher oil prices and reduced Western focus on Ukraine, Per the WSJ.

New details on Larijani elimination:

 

An Israeli journalist says Military Intelligence gathered dramatic intelligence in recent days on the hideout of Ali Larijani, who went underground at the start of the campaign and was rarely seen in public.

A rare window opened yesterday when Larijani was located in the apartment near Tehran, on the outskirts of the city. Military Intelligence cross checked the information and confirmed the target was inside.

The political leadership approved the elimination soon after. The Air Force commander and the head of Military Intelligence then ran the operation from the command bunker.

At 1:50 am, Israeli fighter jets reached the building and dropped precision bombs that hit the apartment directly. Additional bombs penetrated inside, and the senior Iranian figure was eliminated.

Security officials say there had been earlier attempts to eliminate Larijani, including in the opening strike of the war. Only now, about two and a half weeks into the war, did it succeed.

The report says the elimination was 100% Israeli, with no American help or involvement.

A video circulating online shows an Iranian citizen approaching a checkpoint manned by members of Iran’s Basij militia and blasting the sound of a suicide drone at full volume from his car’s radio. 

The reaction is immediate. The Basij members appear to panic and scatter, running from the checkpoint as the buzzing sound echoes nearby.

The clip, widely shared on social media, is being mocked by Iranians online, with many joking that the feared militia “ran like mice” at the mere sound of a drone.

Joe Kent the "crazed egomaniac" Director of the US Counterterrorism Center resigned today in protest against the war with Iran, which he blamed on Israel

 Joe Kent, the Director of the United States National Counterterrorism Center, announced his resignation today in protest against the war with Iran, which he blamed on Israel and pro-Israel lobbyists in the US.

"After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today," Kent stated.

"I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby," he claimed.

Kent said that it was an "honor" to serve under President Donald Trump and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

Former Deputy White House Chief of Staff and Cabinet Secretary Taylor Budowich dismissed Kent's claims and accused him of being behind multiple leaks and of attempting to undermine government policy.

"Joe Kent is a crazed egomaniac who was often at the center of national security leaks, while rarely (never?) producing any actual work. He spent all of his time working to subvert the chain of command and undermine the President of the United States. This isn’t some principled resignation-he just wanted to make a splash before getting canned. What a loser," Budowich stated.
