Mayor Zohran Mamdani plans Monday to meet a small group of Charedi Jewish leaders who previously endorsed him, in a brief session critics call a “photo op.”
Mainstream Jewish groups, including the ADL and Jewish Community Relations Council, were not invited.
Rabbi Moshe Indig of Williamsburg’s Satmar sect and Rabbi David Niederman of the United Jewish Organization of Williamsburg are expected to attend, while broader advocacy groups decline participation.
