The fake phony Eichler, who pretends that he is against the conscription bill saw the handwriting on the wall, that the law will pass with or without him so not to look stupid he pressured Netanyahu to appoint him to a phony useless job, "Deputy Communications Minister" and this has to be a joke as his constituents don't use "communication" their Torah leaders forbid the internet! UTJ’s Eichler Appointed Deputy Communications Minister to Influence Draft Vote

United Torah Judaism (UTJ) MK Yisrael Eichler is set to be appointed Deputy Communications Minister in a strategic move by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that will remove him from the Knesset and prevent him from voting against the government’s contentious conscription bill for yeshiva bachurim. 

The appointment, expected to be approved by ministers, comes under Israel’s “Norwegian law,” under which a ministerial appointment requires Eichler to resign his parliamentary seat. This change allows former UTJ MK Yitzhak Pindrus, who supports the draft measure, to reenter the Knesset and bolster its passage.  

Eichler, a member of Agudas Yisrael within UTJ, has opposed the current form of the draft regulation bill, while Pindrus from Degel Hatorah supports it. The reshuffle is aimed at ensuring a majority for the law that has divided Israeli politics and society over the issue of military exemptions for yeshiva bachurim.

Not a single Jew has ever been arrested for learning Torah. In fact, the current controversy in the press is about the discovery that one billion shekels were transferred to Charedi institutions.

These boys were arrested for refusing to register. Israel is our country, and boys of eligible age are required to enlist in the IDF. There are Hesder yeshivos where students serve in the army and learn Torah. There are entire brigades today made up of young men from Charedi backgrounds. They’re not perfect—but neither are the yeshivos.

But Mr. Pilegish doesn’t stop there. He escalates his fantasies, claiming these boys were “tortured” for hours and days to force them to sign enlistment papers. He even alleges that the IDF sent “provocative women” to scream at them until they signed. Mr. Pilegish has quite an imagination, and he loves embellishing his stories with images of immodest women. He does this in many of his so‑called “lectures.”

Nearly all the boys who were arrested and served time for draft evasion later spoke to the Charedi press—and not a single one accused the army of anything remotely resembling Mr. Pilegish’s allegations. Not one.

In fact, the opposite is true as some of the ex-inmates compared Jail to a "summer camp" Naturally, he prefaces his lies by insisting “the press didn’t report it.”

Why wouldn’t the Charedi press report such a thing if it were true?

Driver who ran over teen walks free

 The Jerusalem District Court on Thursday morning rejected Israel Police's appeal to extend the house arrest of driver Fakhri Khatib, who rammed and killed 14-year-old Yosef Eisental during a protest earlier this month.

Judge Hagit Mac Kalmanovitz ruled that there was no justification for continuing Khatib's house arrest, but clarified that this decision does not prevent further investigative actions by the police.

On Wednesday, the Magistrate's Court ordered the removal of the restrictive conditions placed on Khatib, including the house arrest he had been under for about a week. The police quickly appealed the decision, but the appeal was dismissed.

Khatib is suspected of causing death intentionally or through recklessness, and of causing serious harm to a minor. Initially, the police charged him with aggravated murder but the charge was later softened.

During the hearing, the police confirmed that Khatib called the emergency center himself, reporting that he was being attacked and requesting rescue. His defense attorney argued that his client "was attacked, spat on, and felt in danger," adding that "he acted to save his life without intending to harm anyone." According to the attorney, this is a "political investigation."

The ramming occurred during a January 6 demonstration against the proposed Draft Law. Footage from the scene shows the bus driven by Khatib driving toward a group of protesters and hitting Eisental, who became trapped under the vehicle and was killed. Three other protesters were lightly injured.

Mor Shamli, the widow of Alon Shamli, has died by suicide.

 

Alon, 34, from Bat Yam, was murdered in a terror shooting in Alexandria, Egypt, on October 8, while on an organized tour group. An Egyptian police officer opened fire one day after Hamas’s massacre in southern Israel.

Mor witnessed her husband’s murder. Those close to her say the trauma never left her.

Earthquake shakes Beit Shemesh and Yerushlayim

 

The Home Front Command on Thursday morning activated earthquake alerts for Dead Sea region and Jordan Valley.

Israelis reported feeling the quake, including in Beit Shemesh and Jerusalem.

The Geological Survey of Israel reported a magnitude if 3.9, similar to that of other recent earthquakes in the area.

A Must Watch to those who have elderly parents to care for ...

 It could be that this was staged, but its important to have cameras in the house at all times!
