Candace Owens named ‘Antisemite of the Year’

Firebrand pundit Candace Owens has been named “Antisemite of the Year” by watchdog StopAntisemitism, which says she “blew the competition away” with more votes than anyone in previous years.

“Candace Owens’ witch’s brew of antisemitism drew from vile medieval blood libels, including claims that Jews drink Christian blood, conspiracies that Jews are pedophiles who control the media and are ‘taking over America,’ and modern toxic anti-Israel hysteria,” StopAntisemitism’s founder, Liora Rez, told The Post.

“There is no psychotic rabbit hole too extreme for this poisonous hater.”

StopAntisemitism bestowed the title last year on Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). Other recipients have included Ye, the Hitler-loving rapper formerly known as Kanye West, in 2022, and Tlaib’s fellow “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) in 2019.

The watchdog shared a video of comments from Owens — who split from The Daily Wire over her views — including her defending Ye’s antisemitic tirades and also her attacking Israel, which she claimed had “occupied” the US, in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre.

“Jew-hatred is a symptom of a decaying society just as it is a rotting mind,” Rez stated.

“This dishonor is awarded to the individual who has done the most to endanger the Jewish community, and in 2024, Candace Owens has tragically and decisively earned the title.

“Out of dozens of contenders, she blew the competition away with her relentless campaign of dangerous rhetoric targeting the Jewish community, earning more votes than any Antisemite of the Year we’ve ever named.”

The outspoken conservative pundit had previously scoffed at being in the running for the title.

“I feel like maybe [Israeli] prime minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu should’ve made the list because he’s killed more semites than anybody — did we forget Palestinians are semites,” she said on her show last month.

“The ratio under this post is incredible lol. Zionists are completely out of touch. Reminiscent of BLM in 2020 running around calling everything and everyone racist. From excruciatingly annoying, to mildly entertaining to utterly obsolete,” Owens posted on X in response to the announcement. “We are all fatigued with ‘antisemitism.’”

“Truly, I didn’t think anyone could top the petulance of Patrisse Cullors in 2020 but I have to hand it to the Zionist lobby this year,” she added. “BLM walked so you guys could run.”

“Obviously I will prepare an acceptance speech for my show tomorrow,” Owens later snarked in another X post. “So many people to thank.”

Owens had parted ways in March with the Daily Wire, a conservative outlet she began working for in 2021. She is widely believed to be under a gag order that precludes her from speaking specifically on the split.

However, her departure came amid public friction with its co-founder and star podcaster Ben Shapiro. In the wake of the Hamas surprise attack that killed some 1,200 Israelis, she was caught liking a post on X spouting a bizarre and centuries-old conspiracy theory about rabbis drinking the blood of Christians.

Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew and a staunch defender of Israel, had criticized Owens’ comments as “absolutely disgraceful.”

Rez said that “thankfully” Owens “has been disavowed by many of her former friends and allies.

“But she is a cautionary tale for our nation,” the watchdog’s founder said. “Just as Candace has deteriorated into insanity and irrelevance, so does every civilization where antisemitism flourishes.”

Following her departure from the Daily Wire, Owens has launched her own show, which she posts on YouTube and other platforms.

She’s also continued to draw scrutiny over her comments on Jewish people. Over the summer, she appeared to imply suggested that some of the heinous experiments conducted by Nazis during the Holocaust were merely “propaganda.”

“The Nazis experimented on innocent people,” Owens said over the summer. “Some of the stories, by the way, sound completely absurd. ”

“The idea that they just cut a human up and sewed them back together?” she further pondered at the time. “Why would you do that? Literally even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies [to] just slice a person in half and sew them back together. That just sounds like bizarre propaganda.”

Owens maintains that her remarks were taken out of context and denies that she’s downplayed the experiments by notorious Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele.

“They can’t produce [videos of] me discussing Mengele because it doesn’t exist,” Owens argued on her show in November. “If you’re speaking about someone so evil, why is a lie required?”

Obama’s lost mystique marks the end of a political era

Former President Barack Obama had long been rumored as the catalyst for the 2020 Joe Biden nomination — and thereafter played the whispering puppeteer behind the subsequent lost Biden administration years.

As such, he and his coterie proved the virtual architects of the Biden administration, one of the most unpopular and failed presidencies in American history.

Recall earlier that after a flailing candidate Biden lost the first three 2020 primaries and caucuses, his inert campaign was headed nowhere.

Obama and fellow Democratic insiders abruptly engineered the withdrawal of his rival 2020 presidential candidates: hard left but likely sure-loser candidates including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.

The Obamas ignored or withheld from the public their own firsthand knowledge that Biden was suffering from signs of dementia.

Biden Releases Hamas Mastermind Khaled Mashaal's Brother From US Prison

The sudden release of Mofid Abdel Kader Mashaal, the brother of former Hamas political leader Khaled Mashaal, from a U.S. prison has raised hopes that it could signal progress toward a potential hostage deal.

Mashaal, who was serving a 20-year sentence for financing Hamas through the Holy Land Foundation, was reportedly released after serving 16 years. According to Israeli media, he will spend the next year in a rehabilitation facility. The U.S. has not confirmed his release, but the news has been widely reported in Arab media.

The release comes amid ongoing talks surrounding a possible hostage agreement, fueling speculation that the two developments could be connected. Arab media also reported the sentences of four other American-Palestinians associated with the Holy Land Foundation have been significantly shortened.

On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced a historic clemency act, commuting sentences for 1,500 people and pardoning 39.

Was Mashaal’s release related? Who knows

Sa’ar Orders Closure of Israel’s Embassy in Ireland the Country that Sided With Hitler

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Sunday ordered the Israeli embassy in Dublin shuttered amid Ireland’s hostile stance toward the Jewish state.

Also on Sunday, Sa’ar ordered the opening of an Israeli embassy in Moldova.

Ambassador to Ireland Dana Erlich was already recalled last May after Ireland became one of three European countries to recognize a Palestinian state.

The Irish government last week approved a proposal to intervene in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

On Oct. 29, Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris called on the European Union to “review its trade relations” with Israel, following what he described as a “shameful” vote by the Knesset on a law banning the activities in Israel of UNRWA, the United Nations aid agency for Palestinians.

Ireland has for years criticized Israel and its policies in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, but the rhetoric has escalated since Jerusalem responded to the Hamas-led massacre on Oct. 7, 2023, that triggered a multi-front war.

In announcing the decision, Sa’ar cited the “extreme anti-Israel policy of the Irish government.”

“The antisemitic actions and rhetoric that Ireland is taking against Israel are based on delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and on double standards,” Sa’ar said in a statement.

“Ireland has crossed all red lines in its relationship with Israel. Israel will invest its resources in promoting bilateral relations with the countries of the world according to priorities that are also derived from the attitude of the various countries towards it,” the statement continued.

Harris condemned the “deeply regrettable” move in a post on X, saying he rejects the assertion that Dublin is anti-Israel. “Ireland is pro-peace, pro-human rights and pro-international law,” he claimed.

Moldova already has an embassy in Israel and in explaining the rationale for reciprocating in Chișinău, Sa’ar said that “there are countries that are interested in strengthening their ties with Israel and do not yet have an Israeli embassy. We will adjust the Israeli diplomatic structure of our missions while giving weight, among other things, to the approach and actions of the various countries toward Israel in the political arena.”

Sa’ar informed Moldova’s Foreign Minister Mihail Popșoi of his decision to open the embassy, which is expected to happen in 2025. Sa’ar instructed the director general of his ministry to locate a suitable building for the embassy in Moldova and to initiate the process of appointing an ambassador there.

Trump Invites Satmar Rebbe of Monroe and Rav Shaul Alter of Ger to White House Post-Inauguration

Two prominent Charedi Rabbis have been invited to meet with President Trump at the White House, following the inauguration. The meeting will bring together Rabbi Shaul Alter, Rosh Yeshivah of Mosdos Pnei Menachem, who received a personal invitation from Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, a Chabad businessman in Miami, and the Satmar Rebbe.

Sources told Charedi news outlet Kikar HaShabbat, that the invitation comes as a gesture of appreciation for the leaders’ support during the recent campaign.

Prior to the election, the Satmar Rebbe met with Eric Trump at Trump Tower to discuss concerns about proposed educational regulations affecting yeshivas.

When Rabbi Alter was in Aveilus for his mother, Trump sent a personal letter of condolence through Kaplounn.

Justice Minister Declares War on High Court over Judicial Appointments Committee

Justice Minister Yariv Levin officially announced on Saturday night that he would advance at least one of the key items in his judicial reform: changing the committee’s composition to select judges.

According to Article 4 of Basic Law: The Judiciary, the committee is composed of nine members distributed as follows:

  • The Justice Minister who chairs the committee, and another minister who is chosen by the government.
  • Two MKs elected by the Knesset.
  • Two members of the Bar Association elected in a secret ballot by the National Council of the Bar.
  • The President of the Supreme Court.
  • Two additional Supreme Court judges, chosen according to seniority.

Appointing a Supreme Court justice requires the support of seven members of the committee. This means that the court judges and members of the bar have an automatic veto right as things stand today. That is why Justice Minister Levin has been reluctant to assemble the committee to decide the replacement of retired Court President Esther Hayut last year.

Jen Psaki caught quietly revealing DemonRat Strategy to Take Out all Trumps Nominees!

Jen Psaki says the quiet part out loud that if there’s enough pressure on one nominee and they back out or don’t get confirmed, it opens the door for that to happen to others.

They already took Matt Gaetz.
They’re trying to take Pete Hegseth.
If they’re successful, they will come for Tulsi, RFK Jr., etc.
Don’t give an inch. Senate Republicans need to confirm every nominee and stand strong while the media, Democrats, and RINOs try to sow division in our party and destroy the agenda we elected Trump to do.

Israel refusing Hamas’ demand to release terrorist mastermind Marwan Barghouti in exchange for hostages

srael is refusing Hamas demands to release a high-profile terror mastermind in exchange for hostages, according to reports.

Hamas terrorists have demanded the release of Marwan Barghouti, the former leader of the late Yasser Arafat’s Fatah party, since August, presumably to help the group maintain power in the Gaza strip, the Jerusalem Post reported.

Barghouti is serving five life sentences for his role in the murder of five Israelis in 2000 during the second Palestinian intifada, which raged until 2005.

He was also a leader in the first Intifada, from 1987-1993.

While Israel at one point considered releasing Barghouti, it is now objecting to granting him and other Palestinian prisoners their freedom, the Jerusalem Post reported.

“Israel has a vision of alternative lists of Palestinian prisoners, including people who were recently arrested,” reports quoted the source as saying.

Israel has also requested that some Palestinian prisoners be sent abroad instead of to the West Bank or Gaza, “which may be accepted by the mediators as a compromise to end this new obstacle,” the official said.

Talks continued in Cairo Saturday between Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi and US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and US Middle East envoy Brett McGurk, el-Sissi’s office said.

Sullivan on Thursday said Israel has “negotiated hard to defend and justify its position in this negotiation.” Hamas, however, “has been deeply intransigent,” the Times of Israel reported.

Separately, President-elect Donald Trump’s designated Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman this week, the first time a member of the incoming administration has met with the Saudi Arabian leader since the election.

Trump aims to seal a “mega-deal” with Saudi Arabia, including a historic peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia and progress toward ending the Israel-Hamas war, Axios reported.

“I want a long lasting peace,” Trump told Time magazine in his Person of the Year interview this week.

“I’m not saying that’s a very likely scenario,” Trump added.

“I want a peace where we don’t have an October 7 in another three years.”

Under pressure from Trump, Hamas has agreed to two key concessions: Allowing Israeli forces to stay in the Gaza Strip temporarily after fighting ends and finally providing a complete list of hostages, including Americans, who will be released, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Yet rockets continued to be fired at Israel in the early morning hours Saturday, this time from nearby humanitarian aid warehouses in Gaza, the Israel Defense Forces said on X.

Israeli fighter jets launched airstrikes there, targeting weapons depots and terror operatives, the IDF added.

Israel also blasted a drone at a vehicle in southern Lebanon, killing a Hezbollah operative, according to reports.

Trump Says He knows the Source of the Drones over New Jersey

President-elect Trump ridiculed former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie by sharing a meme suggesting his Republican critic’s appetite is behind the sudden spike in drone sightings across the East Coast.

Trump posted on Truth Social what appeared to be an AI-generated image of Christie, with five drones hovering behind him, holding red McDonalds bags as the former Garden State honcho prepares to wolf down more than a half-dozen hamburgers.

“We now know the source of the drones over New Jersey,” wrote a social media user purporting to be the image’s creator.

In less than a month, there have been roughly 1000 drone sightings in New Jersey alone, according to state officials, although there have been reports from across the nation about the sudden appearance of mysterious flying objects in the airspace.

The feds, however, have said the drones sightings are actually just misidentified aircraft like helicopters or Cessna planes, and pose no danger to people on the ground.

Christie, a former Trump ally turned critic, in recent years has blamed the incoming president for everything from the spike in antisemitism and Islamophobia to “creating” Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.
