Pro- Hamas J Street defends ICC warrants ..Meanwhile Trump team already preparing measures against ICC
The J Street organization published a statement defending the International Criminal Court's decision to issue arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and claiming that accusations of antisemitism against the ICC are mistaken.
"J Street – the pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy movement – expressed deep sadness that we have now come to a point whereby the International Criminal Court feels it justified to issue arrest warrants for two top government officials, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and recently fired Defense Minister Yoav Gallant," the organization stated.
"There will be many in Israel and in the American Jewish community who will look at all these actions within one 24-hour period and blame them on antisemitism or inherent enmity for Israel as the national homeland of the Jewish people. This is the wrong response," it claimed.
"Israelis, instead, need to consider that many of its friends around the world are looking at the government of Israel’s actions in the wake of the barbaric terrorist attack of October 7, 2023, and are sending an unmistakable signal: You have gone too far. Change course. It is time for this war to end and to start creating a pathway out of this nightmare with the support of neighbors and partners all over the world," J Street stated.
US President Donald Trump's team is already planning punitive measures against the International Criminal Court in The Hague following the decision to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Kan Reshet Bet reported Friday morning.
Republicans ‘Want To Kill Your Kids’
Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin is facing fierce backlash after a clip from her podcast went viral, featuring an inflammatory claim that Republicans “want to kill your kids.”
“You have to boil it down to nuts and bolts, and you have to be pithy. What do I mean by pithy? How about this: Republicans want to kill your kids. It’s actually true,” Rubin said during the episode.
She justified the statement by referencing Republican positions on vaccines, medical research, and gun policies, arguing that these stances endanger children.
“If you’re going to oppose vaccinations, stop breakthrough medical research, and allow minors to get semiautomatic weapons — which they use to shoot up schools — well then, you are responsible for kids’ health and death,” she continued.
Rubin’s remarks ignited a storm of criticism. Conservative activist Robby Starbuck called for her dismissal, tagging Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos in a post on X, writing, “She should be fired over this if there’s any sanity left in the world.” Others accused Rubin of exhibiting “Trump derangement syndrome.”
Rubin also faced criticism for earlier comments on her podcast, where she labeled Trump’s cabinet picks as “unfit” and “reckless” and urged Senate members to block their confirmations. Conservatives decried her rhetoric as divisive and extreme.
Rubin’s latest controversy comes as the Washington Post faces internal and external scrutiny over its recent editorial policies. Last month, Bezos didn’t allow the paper to issue a presidential endorsement for Vice President Kamala Harris, breaking with decades of tradition. The move was criticized by Rubin, who dismissed Bezos’s explanation and accused him of appeasing Trump to protect his business interests.
Rubin, who previously gained prominence as a staunch critic of the Obama administration, has shifted her tone in recent years, becoming one of the Biden administration’s most vocal defenders.

The International Criminal Court Issues Arrest Warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant
The International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague issued arrest warrants this afternoon (Thursday) against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant.
The ICC explained that there is reasonable belief that Netanyahu and Gallant committed war crimes.
The announcement statement that Netanyahu and Gallant "bear criminal responsibility for crimes, including shared participation in acts committed with others – war crimes of starvation as a method of warfare and crimes against humanity, including murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts."
In addition, "Netanyahu and Gallant each bear individual criminal responsibility as civilian superiors for the war crime of intentional attack against a civilian population," it was written.
Since Hamas did not approve of the assassination of Mohammed Deif, the ICC also issued an arrest warrant against him.
Former Prime Minister, Naftali Bennet, commented on X that, "The ICC arrest warrants are a mark of shame not of Israel’s leaders but of the ICC itself, and its members. On October 7th, Hamas brutally attacked Israel, murdering, burning alive and raping over 1200 Israelis. Israel is fighting back the most just of wars against pure evil."
"All Israelis, left and right, stand behind the war whose goals are to release the kidnapped Israelis, demolish Hamas and restore security to Israel. Shame on ICC."
President Isaac Herzog said that, "Taken in bad faith, the outrageous decision at the ICC has turned universal justice into a universal laughing stock. It makes a mockery of the sacrifice of all those who fight for justice - from the Allied victory over the Nazis till today.
It ignores the plight of the 101 Israeli hostages held in brutal captivity by Hamas in Gaza. It ignores Hamas’ cynical use of its own people as human shields. It ignores the basic fact that Israel was barbarically attacked and has the duty and right to defend its people. It ignores the fact that Israel is a vibrant democracy, acting under international humanitarian law, and going to great lengths to provide for the humanitarian needs of the civilian population.
Indeed, the decision has chosen the side of terror and evil over democracy and freedom, and turned the very system of justice into a human shield for Hamas’ crimes against humanity.
This cynical exploitation of the international legal institutions reminds us once again of the need for true moral clarity in the face of an Iranian empire of evil that seeks to destabilize our region and the world, and destroy the very institutions of the free world.”
