Israel’s Judicial System Plotting Netanyahu’s Ouster

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara surrounded by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ministers

Two recent confrontations between Israel’s judiciary establishment and democratically-elected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appear to be separate attempts to declare the PM unfit to serve, or incapacitated. One was the Jerusalem court’s decision to deny Netanyahu the delay he requested before testifying in his own trial; the other was a demand from the AG that Netanyahu fire National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.

In early February 2023, when the civil war over judicial reform was at its height, the High Court of Justice ordered Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara and Netanyahu to respond to the petition of the Movement for Quality Government in Israel, which demanded that Netanyahu be declared incapacitated for his involvement in the judicial reform.

According to the Knesset website, “incapacitated” describes a situation where a government official cannot fulfill his duties for certain reasons. The lack of ability to fulfill these duties can be temporary if the office bearer will return to fulfill his position, or permanent if it is clear that the office bearer will not return to fulfill his duties.

Regarding the incapacity of the Prime Minister, Article 16 of the Basic Law: The Government establishes instructions regarding the filling of the position of the Prime Minister. According to section (a), if the prime minister is absent from the country, his deputy will call the government meetings and preside over them. According to section (b), if the Prime Minister is temporarily unable to fulfill his duties, the Acting Prime Minister will take his place. If 100 consecutive days have passed in which the acting prime minister served instead of the prime minister, the prime minister is considered to be permanently prevented from fulfilling his duties. According to Article 20(b) of the Basic Law, if the Prime Minister is prevented from fulfilling his duties permanently, the government is considered to have resigned on the 101st day on which the Acting Prime Minister holds office.

And that, folks, is how a judicial Coup D’état happens in Israel. The good government folks didn’t come up with the idea on their own. The move was clearly manufactured by the AG. Earlier in February 2023, Baharav-Miara ordered Netanyahu to refrain from interfering with changes in the judicial system due to his conflict of interest because of his trial. This was based on the 11-0 High Court decision to allow Netanyahu to run for the Knesset and become prime minister as long as he did not engage in issues having to do with his corruption trial.

Eric Adams visited the Ohel a Total of Six Times

Hizzoner is seeking a Hail Mary in the unlikeliest of places.

Mayor Eric Adams has visited the Queens burial site of the late Chabad Lubavitch leader Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson at least twice since being indicted on public corruption charges in September, insiders said.

Most recently, the devout Pentecostal Christian schlepped to Montefiore Cemetery in Springfield Gardens, shortly past midnight Tuesday for what one witness described as a “low-key visit.”

The mayor was “deeply engrossed” and “focused on his prayers” — insisting he was there strictly for Schneerson, 92, who died in 1994 and some followers believe to be the Messiah.

Witnesses told The Post that visitors asked to take photos with the mayor, who declined, saying, “It’s about the Rebbe.”

Joe Rogan ‘guarantees Biden voted for Trump’: Prez has ‘never been happier in his life’

Podcaster Joe Rogan suggested this week that President Biden wanted President-elect Trump to win after his party pushed him to drop out of the race in July.

Biden’s smiling face during his meeting with Trump at the White House on Wednesday sparked some speculation that the incumbent was happy to hand over the reins to Trump rather than his replacement on the Democratic ticket, Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Do you know what one of my f—ing favorite things of this whole election cycle has been? Yesterday when Biden and Trump sat down in the White House,” Rogan said. “Biden voted for Trump. I guarantee it. I f—ing guarantee it. I never saw that dude so happy in his f—ing life. He lost. His party lost. He was happy.”

He then compared the reception to how then-President Obama greeted Trump after his first victory in 2016, arguing that Obama looked exasperated at the time.

When a photo of Biden beaming next to Trump was shown, Rogan immediately began laughing, “Look at, look at Biden! Look at his f—ing smile, dude! Look at his f—ing smile, man. That’s like when your kid gets married.”

Rogan went on to say that Biden felt joy at Harris being soundly defeated, recalling when the president placed a Trump hat on his head while out campaigning.

“I guarantee you, I guarantee you that Mother —-er was happy. He had a giant smile on his face. He said, ‘Welcome back’ to him,” he joked.

“I thought it was ‘Hitler,’” the podcast host said, recalling past rhetoric from Biden condemning Trump. “I thought he was ‘dangerous!’”

“It’s so nuts, man. It’s so nuts,” Rogan later added. “All the different things that happened during this election are wilder than anything you’ve ever seen in a f—ing movie.”

Biden previously argued that Trump was “a threat to democracy” and in the final weeks of the campaign said “our democracy is at stake” if he wins.

Since the election, however, Biden has been far more conciliatory, with some pointing out the stark difference in rhetoric.

Crazed Wasserman Schultz Gets Totally Unhinged Claims Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., is facing backlash online for claiming that Tulsi Gabbard, President-elect Trump’s pick for Director of National Intelligence (DNI), is "likely a Russian asset."

Wasserman Schultz made the claims, without providing any evidence, on MSNBC Friday, sparking furious responses with commentators honing in on the Florida lawmaker’s own record.

"She is considered to be essentially by most assessments, a Russian asset and would be the most dangerous," Wasserman Schultz said, before being cut off and asked, "Is that what you consider her?"

"Yes. There's no question. I consider her someone who is likely a Russian asset who would be as the DNI, responsible for managing our entire intelligence community, hold all of our most significant intelligence information and secrets, and essentially would be a direct line to our enemies," Wasserman Schultz said.

"Tulsi Gabbard resigned as DNC Vice Chair in 2016 because Debbie Wasserman Schultz was rigging the election to ensure Hillary won -- as Liz Warren, Donna Brazile and WL all showed," journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote.

"Imagine fighting for your country and then having pro-war cretins like this impugn your loyalties."

Commentator @TexasLindsay_ invoked the debunked Russian dossier scandal, which was used by Democrats to accuse President-elect Trump of being a Russian asset.

"Debbie Wasserman Schulz was DNC Chair when Hillary Clinton ran for president—during the time the DNC got caught spying on Trump's campaign paying to fabricate the fake Russian Dossier to discredit Trump."

"The fact that she’s now accusing Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian asset is so outrageous, I can’t help but laugh at how stupid she thinks we all are."

Israel destroyed top-secret nuclear research facility at Parchin

Israel's strike on Iran last month destroyed an active nuclear weapons and research facility in Parchin, Axios reported, quoting three US officials, one current Israeli official, and one former Israeli official.

The site was previously reported to be inactive, Axios added. However, it is now clear that the strike "significantly damaged" Iran's efforts to resume nuclear weapons research.

Iran has consistently denied that it is working to achieve a nuclear weapon, and its mission to the United Nations declined to comment on the story.

A former Israeli official briefed on the strike said Israel "destroyed sophisticated equipment used to design the plastic explosives that surround uranium in a nuclear device and are needed to detonate it."

According to the Institute for Science and International Security, the Parchin facility was part of the Iranian nuclear weapons program and used for testing explosives until Iran allegedly halted its military nuclear program in 2003.

According to US and Israeli officials, the Taleghan 2 building was being used for nuclear research that could also be presented as important for civilian purposes.

However, since the building was not part of Iran's declared nuclear program, Israel could strike it without violating the US dictate not to strike Iranian nuclear or military facilities.

A US official explained, "They conducted scientific activity that could lay the ground for the production of a nuclear weapon. It was a top-secret thing. A small part of the Iranian government knew about this, but most of the Iranian government didn't."

A US official told Axios that in the months prior to the Israeli strike, "there was concern across the board" about operations at Taleghan 2.

High-resolution satellite images acquired by the Institute show that the site's Taleghan 2 building was completely destroyed, the site noted.

France Will Release Terrorist who murdered US and Israeli diplomats

A French court has ordered the conditional release of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, a pro-Palestinian Arab Lebanese terrorist who has spent 40 years in prison for the 1982 killings of two foreign diplomats, prosecutors said Friday, according to the AFP news agency.

Abdallah, who was first detained in 1984 and convicted in 1987 for his role in the murders, will be released on December 6, provided he leaves France, according to a statement from French anti-terror prosecutors. However, they added that an appeal against the ruling is forthcoming.

"In (a) decision dated today, the court granted Georges Ibrahim Abdallah conditional release from December 6, subject to the condition that he leaves French territory and not appear there again," the prosecutors said, as quoted by AFP.

The release remains uncertain, as the appeal by prosecutors will be reviewed at a hearing on a yet-to-be-determined date.

Abdallah, now 73, was a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization and was sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement in the murders of US military attaché Charles Robert Ray and Israeli diplomat Yacov Barsimantov. Washington has consistently opposed his release, while Lebanese authorities have repeatedly called for his freedom.

Abdallah has described himself as a "fighter" advocating for Palestinian Arab rights and has never admitted criminal wrongdoing. His latest release request was his 11th attempt, following eligibility for parole since 1999.

His only successful bid was in 2013 when a court granted release contingent on his expulsion from France, but the then-interior minister, Manuel Valls, blocked the decision.

Abdallah, who has never shown remorse for his actions, was arrested in 1984 after reporting to a police station in Lyon, claiming Mossad assassins were targeting him. His life sentence, handed down after his trial for the killings, exceeded the 10-year sentence sought by prosecutors.

Abdallah has garnered support from far-left groups and communists in France. Last month, Nobel literature laureate Annie Ernaux wrote in L'Humanité that his continued imprisonment "shamed France."

Demonstrations demanding his release included a gathering of 200 people in Toulouse on Thursday and a protest of 2,000 outside Lannemezan prison in October to mark the 40th anniversary of his arrest, noted AFP.

Hatikvah Played at French Stadium and "Kaddish" is said

In a poignant moment before the Israel vs. France match, the Israeli national anthem, “Hatikvah,” was played in the French stadium.

The anthem, symbolizing hope and resilience, held particular significance, especially in light of recent incidents of violence and hostility toward Israelis and Jews at soccer events.
