Another Anti-Trump Myth Busted! Federal Court Rules “Trump Photo Op” was NOT the Reason DC Police Dispersed Protesters

A U.S. government watchdog on Wednesday released a report finding that federal police did not clear protesters from a park near the White House last summer so that former president Donald Trump could walk to a nearby church for a photo opportunity.

The report, by the U.S. Interior Department’s inspector general, said U.S. Park Police violently dispersed people from Lafayette Park on June 1, 2020 as part of a plan made earlier in the day for a contractor to install fencing.

The report stated that U.S. Park Police had begun implementing the fencing plan “several hours” before they knew of Trump’s visit to the park, which occurred later that day.

“We found that the USPP had the authority and discretion to clear Lafayette Park and the surrounding areas on June 1,” the government watchdog said in a summary of its findings. “The evidence we obtained did not support a finding that the USPP cleared the park to allow the President to survey the damage and walk to St. John’s Church.”

The report recommended U.S. Park Police develop more detailed policies for dispersing crowds, and improve coordination between federal agencies.

The report drew criticism from congressional Democrats, who have faulted federal agents for their use of pepper spray to clear protesters from the square and street.

“I come away from this report skeptical of the version presented here,” said House Natural Resources Committee Chairman Raúl Grijalva, a California Democrat, in a statement.

“The Lafayette Square crackdown was played on repeat on televisions around the world and raised serious questions about why heavily armed law enforcement attacked peaceful civilians practicing their constitutional rights,” Grijalva said. “Not only does this report not answer those questions, it doesn’t even seem to acknowledge them.”

Satmar Aronim Dump Yang and Endorse Adams For Mayor

Two weeks after a rare display of unity in Satmar, which wholeheartedly threw its support behind Andrew Yang in the June 22nd primary, Williamsburg’s Aronim faction has broken ranks and reversed direction, publicly endorsing Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams as their first choice for mayor.

The change was announced after midnight last night, reported The Forward (https://bit.ly/3x9MXQI). An ad on the front page of the Wednesday edition of Der Blatt showed a photograph of Adams meeting with Satmar leaders in Williamsburg, calling on readers to vote for Adams out of recognition of his long friendship with the local community, ranking Yang as their second choice.

A source within the Williamsburg community said that the change affected only Satmar’s Aronim. According to the source, the many Chasidic factions in Williamsburg and Boro Park, including Boro Park’s Satmar Aronim, who had previously named Yang as their first pick and Adams as their second in the ranked choice election, had not changed their endorsement and were still supporting Yang as their first choice candidate.

A spokesperson from the Yang campaign was not immediately available to comment on the matter.

The Black Thug Daunte Wright Led a Life of Crime .... but top Democrats attend his funeral

As ex-Minnesota police officer Kim Potter is out on $100,000 bond, awaiting a manslaughter trial in the death of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, victims of his alleged gun violence are still reeling from trauma and top Democrats who flocked to his funeral have gone quiet.

Wright is accused of shooting a teen and a former classmate on separate occasions in a pair of civil lawsuits against his estate.

In May 2019, 16-year-old Caleb Livingston was at a Full Stop gas station in Minneapolis when Wright allegedly pulled out a gun and shot him in the head, according to one of the lawsuits.

Livingston is now in a "vegetative state" known as unresponsive wakefulness syndrome, according to attorney Mike Padden, who is representing both plaintiffs against Wright’s estate.

Seven months later, Wright was charged with aggravated robbery after a young woman accused him of holding her at gunpoint, choking her and demanding she hand him hundreds of dollars.

At Least 8 Gazan Children Featured on NY Times Front Page were Killed by Hamas Themselves

At least eight of the children whose names were featured by the New York Times in a list of children killed during Operation Guardian of the Walls were killed by rockets launched by terrorist organizations that misfired and fell inside the Gaza Strip, the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center (ITIC) has found.

On May 28, the Times published on its front page 67 pictures of children and adolescents killed in the Gaza Strip during Operation Guardian of the Walls with the headline, “They Were Just Children.” The Times listed the names of the casualties under the age of 17 who were killed, two in Israel and 65 in the Gaza Strip.

A few days later the Times printed a retraction, reporting that one of the pictures was of a child killed “under other circumstances and not during the hostilities.”

However, the ITIC found that this was not the Times’ only inaccuracy.

Baraa al-Ghrabi, 4, from Jabaliaת Ibrahim Hassanein, 16, from Beit Hanoun, Mustafa al-Abir, 17, from Beit Hanoun, Hussein Hamad, 11, from Beit Hanoun, Yazen al-Masri, 2, from Beit Hanoun, and Marwan al-Masri, 7 from Beit Hanoun were killed by rockets fired by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad at Israel that exploded inside Gaza.

Israeli Archaeologists Discover Intact Chicken Egg from 1,000 Years Ago

While excavating an ancient cesspit dating from the Islamic period (7th century CE), Israel Antiquities Authority archaeologists in Yavne were astonished to find an unbroken chicken’s egg.

The large-scale archaeological excavations, directed by Dr. Elie Haddad, Liat Nadav-Ziv, and Dr. Jon Seligman, have discovered an extensive and diverse industrial area dating from the Byzantine period, as part of the Israel Land Authority’s urban expansion project in the city.

“Eggshell fragments are known from earlier periods, for example in the City of David and at Caesarea and Apollonia, but due to the eggs’ fragile shells, hardly any whole chicken eggs have been preserved. Even at the global level, this is an extremely rare find,” says Dr. Lee Perry Gal of the IAA, a leading expert on poultry in the ancient world. “In archaeological digs, we occasionally find ancient ostrich eggs, whose thicker shells preserve them intact.”

Black MSNBC & NYT Reporter Says it's ‘Disturbing’ to see ‘dozens of American flags’ on trucks on Long Island

MSNBC contributor Mara Gay said Tuesday that she was “disturbed” to see “dozens of American flags” flown by Donald Trump supporters during a weekend trip to Long Island, New York.

The left-wing editorial board member for the New York Times was also distressed by what she called expletives on the trucks against President Biden, describing the flag-flying Trump supporters as sending a clear message: “This is my country … not your country. I own this.”

“The reality is here that we have a large percentage of the American population — I don’t know how big it is, but we have tens of millions of Trump voters who continue to believe that their rights as citizens are under threat by simple virtue of having to share the democracy with others,” Gay said in response to MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski calling for an investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

“I think that as long as they see Americanness as the same as one with whiteness, this is going to continue,” Gay said, turning to race and adding that “Americanness” and “whiteness” needed to be separated.

Adams Promises a Dinkins-Like Approach to Crime if Elected.... With Pogroms?

Speaking on Monday morning on CNN’s New Day program with program host John Berman, Adams said that as a former police officer and a fighter for social justice, he believes that police play an important role in keeping New York City safe, but that their efforts represent only part of the solution to rising crime rates.

“We have to redefine the eco-system of public safety,” said Adams. “Police, they will have a role, but you have so many other components, like mental health professionals, crisis management team. We have to rethink policing in America, so we can get to the source of the crisis.”

Adams punted when asked by Berman if he would model his law enforcement approach after that of Mayor Bill de Blasio or former mayor Rudolph Giuliani, saying that he intends to follow in the footsteps of former mayor David Dinkins if elected. Adams praised Dinkins for supplementing law enforcement with community policing, a formula that he believes will result in a greater balance of justice and safety.

Describing Giuliani’s approach to policing as “heavy-handed,” Adams faulted the former mayor for his stop and frisk policy that he believes targeted young people based on their ethnicity and where they lived.

“We must use our tools the correct way to keep the city safe, but not to take away the justice of the citizens,” said Adams who was arrested and beaten by police as a 15 year old.

Adams downplayed the nature of heated exchanges he shared with fellow candidate Andrew Yang during last week’s mayoral debate saying, “I wrestled with people who had knives on the subway system during the nineties. I know what it is to go after dangerous people.”

Despite his views on community policing, Adams distanced himself from the views of fellow candidate Maya Wiley, who vowed to cut funding to the NYPD.

“At a time when we’re seeing eight year old children and 10 year old babies being murdered in our city, I just don’t support taking away our law enforcement apparatus as a former police officer and as a person that has fought for social justice in the city,” said Adams.

The Wiley campaign fired back, noting that Adams had endorsed stop and frisk during Giuliani’s tenure as mayor and saying that Dinkins had been too soft on crime, reported the New York Post (https://bit.ly/3p.xLKjA).

“Adams’ amnesia won’t be lost in two weeks,” said Wiley spokesperson Julia Savel. “Democratic primary voters won’t forget about Eric Adams’ hypocrisy.”

Lapid’s Coalition Deal Keeps Netanyahu Out, Handcuffs Bennett, Favors Arabs, Reform

Channel 12 News’ political reporter Amit Segal on Monday night exposed some disturbing details about the new Lapid-Bennett coalition agreements which make it look more like a honey trap than a victory for the Yamina chairman (חשיפה: ההסכמים הקואליציוניים המלאים של ממשלת בנט-לפיד). Segal reported: “This is the best-kept political secret in the country, Bennett and Lapid hoped to keep these coalition agreements close to the chest until a day before the inauguration.”

According to the agreement, the coalition government will push a bill that bans from running to the Knesset for four years a politician who has served for eight consecutive years as prime minister (they could have simply written anyone named Bibi or anyone with a bad comb-over). Strangely, this would mean that Netanyahu would have an interest in preserving the 24th Knesset to term since he would be disqualified from leading the Likud should his stint out of office be less than the prerequisite four years. If Netanyahu is forced out for one term, someone else in the Likud would the party’s candidate for prime minister, and Bibi would be 77 by the time he is qualified again.

The agreements stipulate that Bennett will not be able to hold any other ministerial position, not even that of a deputy minister, should the new government be replaced as a result of a no-confidence vote in the Knesset. It makes it look more like a prenuptial agreement between some billionaire and his former housekeeper than a political deal. In essence, Bennett, who was counting on the coming two years to rebuild and expand his base, which at the moment is circling the bottom of the sink, will be prevented from serving in any government other than this one.

Another Bennett plan was dashed by the deal – his hope to talk United Torah Judaism chairman Moshe Gafni into joining, and adding seven more right-wing votes to the coalition mix. The deal determines that the addition of new parties to the coalition will be done only with the approval of Israel Beiteinu chairman Liberman, Labor chairman Michaeli, and Meretz chairman Horowitz. In other words – not gonna’ happen.
