Just after midnight on Friday morning, Israel announced that "air and ground forces from the IDF are now attacking in Gaza. More details to follow."
The military columnists in Israel understood that this meant the armored corps and artillery deployed near Gaza will attack, but the unclear notice led foreign reporters to report the beginning of a ground operation in Gaza.
Now it has been clarified that the unclear announcement was a planned trick by the IDF to eliminate a large number of Hamas terrorists within a short time.
Infantry, artillery, and tanks were moved towards the IDF border, and Hamas believed that Israel was about to begin a ground invasion. As a result, Hamas sent its fighters into its underground tunnel system beneath Gaza City.
On Thursday night, the IDF brought in 160 aircraft and dropped 450 bombs containing over 80 tons of explosives, hitting 150 terror targets in 35 minutes. Hamas' underground city was hit with enormous force, and the IDF collapsed the terror tunnel system, on the heads of the terrorists hiding in the tunnels.
During the attack, many kilometres of terror tunnels were destroyed. As of now, neither Israel nor Hamas is clear on the exact scope of the damage, but according to estimates, a large number of terrorists were buried in the sands beneath Gaza.

Guys ...
I don't get it ... nope ....I don't get it ...
For years all shuls would make "Mi-Shebeirachs" for goyim...Queen Victoria, Queen Elizabeth, the Czar, Franz Yosef, Napoleon, President Cooledge, Roosevelt ym"s, Eisenhower etc..
Who composed the nusach of these "Mi-Sheibeirachs"? No one knows! But it didn't make any difference, it's in the siddur so they said it with pride. We have old siddurim going on auction where you can see these "Mi-Shebeirachs"
They even made "Mi-Shebeirachs" for Jewish soldiers that served in Russia, Poland, Hungary, Romania, England, Germany etc... no one objected! Yes in Russia and in other countries they were forcibly drafted, but many Jews volunteered as well!
Here in Eretz Yisrael we have a Jewish Army for the first time since Rebbe Akiva, the Tanna established one over 2,000 years ago.
The Rabbanute Instituted the following Prayer:

You may not understand Hebrew... but you don't really have to understand the language to read this brave soul's heart. Listen to how proud he is to defend the Jewish people ...
May Hashem keep him safe and may he return to his loved ones very soon!

“The Jews’ immigration to Palestine from all corners of the world, in order to establish their state, was based on the myth that Jerusalem had been their capital and that they had a temple there, that Jerusalem belongs to them, and that it is their Promised Land. These are the myths that they have invented out of thin air,” said Arouri.
He also said, according to the report, that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and commander of the ‘Izz al-Din al-Qasam Brigades Mohammad Deif have said that Hamas is ready to fight for many months.
“The resistance was designed to last for a long while. The commanders of the resistance in Gaza have said—brother Abu Ibrahim [Al-Sinwar] said it clearly more than once, and [Mohammed] ‘Abu Khaled’ Deif also talked about it. … They said that we are ready for a war that would last months. Months!”
Arouri continued: “The resistance will not allow [Israel] to create an image of victory. In the 2014 war, the image of victory was of the [Israeli] soldier under the boots of the mujahideen. In this war, the bombing of the streets and towers will not be the image of victory. The image of victory will be painted by our jihadi Brigades.”

Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected a peace offering from Hamas as Israel today deployed troops along the Gaza border in preparation for a possible ground invasion as both sides exchanged relentless bombardments.
More than 600 Israeli air strikes since Monday have levelled Islamist bases and slain nine top commanders including the Hamas intelligence chief, their lead missile designer and their terror boss in Gaza City.
Hamas offered a truce last night via the Russian foreign ministry, requesting ceasefire on a 'mutual basis' after they launched more than 1,600 rockets at densely populated towns and cities, killing seven Israeli civilians.
But Netanyahu has vowed his troops are committed to a long operation which will only 'increase in force' despite international outcry at the growing Palestinian death toll – 83 people have been killed, including 17 children.
Troops were today ordered to the Gaza border in 'various stages of preparing ground operations', a military spokesman said, a move that would recall similar incursions during Israel-Gaza wars in 2014 and 2008-2009.
Meanwhile, Israel is facing an internal crisis with Arab and Jewish mobs running amok through the streets, with 'lynchings' reported and buildings torched across the country during nightly riots since the conflict erupted.
'The campaign is still far from over,' a minister said after a cabinet meeting last night with Netanyahu. 'Whatever we don't do now, we will have to do in six months or a year from now.'
He told Israeli news site Ynet: 'When we have hit all our targets and the other side has still not surrendered, we will launch a ground operation even though we do not seek it.'
Plans for the ground invasion were being drafted for approval by Israeli Defence Force Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi later on Thursday, according to the Jerusalem Post. If they get the General's sign off, the plans will be passed on to Netanyahu and his cabinet.

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene confronted Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in what witnesses described as an aggressive encounter outside the House chamber on Wednesday afternoon during which she accused the Democrat of supporting terrorists.
It prompted a complaint by Ocasio-Cortez's to authorities to ensure Congress remained 'a safe, civil place for all members and staff.'
The episode erupted on Wednesday afternoon after Ocasio-Cortez had criticized the Biden administration's stance on Israel.
As Ocasio-Cortez left the House chamber Greene shouted 'Hey Alexandria' twice to get her attention, according to Washington Post journalists who saw the confrontation.
Greene tried to catch up to the New York representative, asking why she supports antifa and Black Lives Matter, describing them as 'terrorist' groups.
She then accused the left-wing Democrat of failing to defend her 'radical socialist' beliefs and refusing to debate her face-to-face.
You don't care about the American people,' Greene shouted. 'Why do you support terrorists and antifa?'
Ocasio-Cortez kept walking, pausing only to throw up her hands in a gesture of exasperation, said the witnesses.
Her office responded by calling on congressional authorities to protect members of Congress and foster a climate for safe debate.
After their exchange, Greene accused Ocasio-Cortez of cowardice.
'She's a chicken, she doesn't want to debate the Green New Deal,' she told reporters.
'These members are cowards.
'They need to defend their legislation to the people. That's pathetic.'
Greene has a record of spreading conspiracy theories and Democrats voted to strip her of committee assignments.
For her part, Ocasio-Cortez attracted criticism after wading into the spiraling Israel-Gaza conflict on Wednesday.
She accused President Joe Biden of issuing a 'blanket statement' that failed to acknowledge the root causes of the crisis which included the Israeli police raid of the Al-Aqsa mosque and the looming evictions of dozens of Palestinians from their homes in East Jerusalem.
'By only stepping in to name Hamas' actions - which are condemnable - & refusing to acknowledge the rights of Palestinians, Biden reinforces the false idea that Palestinians instigated this cycle of violence,' she wrote on Twitter. 'This is not neutral language. It takes a side - the side of occupation.'

Bella, who has nearly 42 million followers on the platform, published the series of cartoons Wednesday that called Israel 'occupiers' and called Palestinians 'oppressed.'
Her sister Gigi then liked the post, amplifying the cartoons riddled with historic inaccuracies and anti-Semitic tropes to her 66.2 million followers.
The Hadid sisters and Gal's posts come as Israel on Thursday pressed ahead with a fierce military offensive in the Gaza Strip, killing as many as 11 senior Hamas terrorist military figures in retaliation for artillery and mortar that had been lobbed into Israel from Palestinian areas.Bella, 24, and Gigi, 26, are vocal in their support for the Palestinian cause, and have attended marches and demonstrations.

Kamala Harris' niece has raised eyebrows with an Instagram post urging people who care about LGBT rights and women's issues to defend Palestine - despite the country's rulers being among the most repressive in the world.
Meena Harris, a 36-year-old lawyer and businesswoman, on Wednesday night shared her opinions, re-posting a widely-shared image discussing the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Harris has, in the four months since her mother's sister became vice president, managed several times to ruffle feathers in the White House - both with her new clothing brand, that Biden administration lawyers told her came too close to profiting from her aunt, and with an ill-advised tweet about a mass shooting.
'One cannot advocate for racial equality, LGBT & women's rights, condemn corrupt and abusive regimes and other injustices yet choose to ignore the Palestinian oppression,' she posted.
'It does not add up. You cannot pick and choose whose human rights matter more.'
The post had previously been shared by Palestinian-Dutch model Gigi Hadid, among others.
Harris commented alongside the post: 'If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. I stand in solidarity with the Palestinian residents of Sheikh Jarrah.'
Harris's activism did not sit well with many.
It ignored the fact that Hamas, the Islamist Palestinian rulers of Gaza, maintain a law criminalizing homosexuality - a crime which is punishable by 10 years in prison.
