Uh OH!!!! Secret emails between Hunter and Burisma adviser show Joe DID meet his son's Ukraine business contacts

Hunter Biden introduced his father Joe to an adviser at his Ukrainian gas firm before the then-vice president lobbied for the firing of a prosecutor who was investigating the company, a trove of emails has revealed.

Burisma adviser Vadym Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for 'an opportunity to meet your father' in an email sent in 2015, according to the stash of data given to the New York Post by Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani.

A year later, Joe Biden successfully pushed for the prosecutor's removal, amid concerns at his failure to tackle corruption which were shared by other countries.

The files also show Hunter repeatedly referring to his father as 'my guy' while writing to a colleague at Burisma.

The collection of messages and images were recovered on a MacBook Pro laptop that was brought into a Delaware computer shop and never picked up.

They shed new light on the younger Biden's business dealings in Ukraine, which were at the center of the Trump impeachment probe and which the president has repeatedly tried to use against the Democratic nominee.

Joe Biden has previously said he never speaks to his son about his overseas business dealings. Other material in the cache is said to include sexually explicit images of Hunter, and footage of him smoking drugs while engaged in a sex act with a woman.

Hunter, 50, has admitted to cocaine use in the past and received an administrative discharge from the US Navy reserve for that reason in 2014.

The trove of files was given to the Post by Giuliani after the computer store owner gave one copy to the FBI and kept hold of another.

Supreme Court Slaps Democrats That Filed a Lawsuit Against Trump

The Supreme Court on Tuesday put an end to a lawsuit brought by congressional Democrats that accused President Donald Trump of violating anti-corruption provisions in the U.S. Constitution with his business dealings.

The justices refused to hear an appeal by 215 Senate and House of Representatives Democrats of a lower court ruling that found that the lawmakers lacked the necessary legal standing to bring the case that focused on the Republican president’s ownership of the Trump International Hotel in Washington.

The lawmakers accused Trump of violating the Constitution’s rarely tested “emoluments” clauses that bar presidents from taking gifts or payments from foreign and state governments without congressional approval. The lead plaintiff in the case is U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut.

Jews Never Learn ..... 70% of Jews Plan to Vote for Biden, Pew study finds

The Jewish vote in the upcoming presidential election should be very close to the way it has been split since 2012, a new study by the Pew Research Center found.

The survey, conducted earlier this month and published Tuesday, found that 70% of American Jews plan to vote for former Vice President Joe Biden, while 27% plan to vote for President Donald Trump.

If those numbers bear out, they will be nearly identical to the Jewish result in 2016, when Pew found that Hillary Clinton won 71% of the Jewish vote to Trump’s 25%. In 2012, the numbers were slightly higher for the Republican candidate: Barack Obama won 69% of the Jewish vote while Mitt Romney won 30%.

The margin of error for Jewish respondents on the Pew survey is quite large, at 9.6%, which means that the result is statistically similar to the Jewish vote in previous elections.

The poll is a blow to Jewish Republican hopes that Trump’s record in office — including recognizing Israeli territorial claims, brokering peace between Israel and two Arab states and pulling out of the Iran nuclear agreement — could shift the vote in his favor.

The Pew poll also found that 35% of Jewish Americans approve of the job Trump has done in office, similar to his 38% approval rating among Americans overall.

Overall, Pew found that 52% of Americans overall prefer Biden while 42% prefer Trump. Most white Christians, including the vast majority of white evangelicals, support Trump.

Kiryas Yoel Hard-hit by Coronavirus 30 People Are Currently Hospitalized, with 9 in Critical Condition.

A renewed outbreak of coronavirus in the haredi city of Kiryas Yoel in the United States, home to a large community of Satmar Hassidim, is hitting the residents much harder this time around as compared to during the so-called “first wave” of the coronavirus, Kikar Hashabbat reports.

Figures published by the “Vechai Bahem” organization (that was established in Kiryas Yoel specifically in order to deal with the coronavirus threat) show that as of Tuesday of this week, 46 people were hospitalized with coronavirus, with nine of them in critical condition. 16 of them were subsequently able to be sent home after their conditions improved sufficiently.

As such, there are 30 people from the Kiryas Yoel community alone in hospital, with another 41 being treated with oxygen at home who are not currently in need of hospitalization

One of those in critical condition is the head of the local Satmar community, R’ Meir Zelig Riesfeler, whose condition recently took a sharp turn for the worse.

The community asks people to recite Tehillim for the recovery of the sick, and to pray especially for R’ Meir Zelig ben Esther.

Associated Press Profiles Rabbi Avrohom Pinter Who Died Saving Others From Covid

Rabbi Avrohom Pinter gave his life to save his neighbors.

When the British government ordered a lockdown to slow the spread of coronavirus, Pinter went door-to-door in northeast London to deliver the public health warning to the ultra-Orthodox Jews in his community. Within days, the 71-year-old rabbi had caught COVID-19 and died.

His sacrifice was just the last chapter of a life spent forging links between the often-isolated community in Stamford Hill and wider British society, whether by working with an Anglican priest to build a community center or visiting the local mosque to grieve when a gunman killed 51 Muslims in New Zealand.

“He served as a bridge in a broader sense,″ said Chaya Spitz, a protege of Pinter’s and CEO of an umbrella organization for Orthodox Jewish charities. “What he did around COVID was typical of his approach more generally.”

The path to becoming a rabbi respected by non-Jews wasn’t easy for a man who grew up in Stamford Hill in the 1950s and ’60s.

52% Of Older Israeli COVID Patients Are Chareidi

The Chareidi advocacy headquarters of Israel’s Health Ministry published data on Tuesday morning showing that 52% of coronavirus patients over 65 are Chareidi despite the fact that the Chareidi sector accounts for only 12% of Israel’s population.

Health Ministry officials believe that a large number of the Chareidi patients contracted the coronavirus during the Yamim Noramim tefillos.

“This is startling data,” the Health Ministry stated. “The Chareidi population accounts for only 12% of the population and the percentage of adults over 65 is only a few percent.”

The Health Ministry’s Chareidi advocacy headquarters stated:

“The data reveals a reality contrary to the widespread feeling that older people are being very cautious and young people are protecting themselves out of fear of infecting the older adults in their families. The statistics speak for themselves and should be of particular concern to our community.”

New Skver "takanas" If You Want to Be a Shliach Tzibber

To take our our minds off the virus and politics ....

I decided to post a Skverer edict or "takana"in reference vis a vis a "shliach tzibber."

If a guy is a "chiuv" and needs to daven as a "shliach tzibber," he will have a problem taking advantage of the many Skverer minyanim in New Square ....

No it's not talking about wearing a mask, chas ve'sholom, or social distancing G-d forbid ...... naaaaaa!

The following szlubs cannot and should not approach as a "Shliach tzibber" even if his father was murdered "al kiddush Hashem" :

1. If you trim your beard.

2. You must dunk into the mikva that very day.

3. You must wear a "gartel' but it cannot be from the same material of the clothes that you wear

4. You don't have any smartphone, computer, tablet that doesn't have a filter

5. If you use social media, such as whatsapp (without a filter), twitter, instagram etc

So that's it ...

I find number 3 very funny ..... that the "gartel" must be from a different material .....

so if a guy fits all the criteria ... he never trims his beard, dunks that day in the mikva, has filters on his phone, computers, and has no social media ....

but......  his gartel is of the same material as his 'lange rekel" he cannot daven as "shliach tzibber" in New Square ...

This "modern guy" that fits all the above criteria... except for his "gartel".. that is made of the same material as his shirt,  will now be asked to step aside and be categorized as an "oif'ge'klerteer"

DemocRATS Try to Smear Amy Barrett ..... But She Calmly Destroys Them Without Any Notes!

by Michael Goodwin

They came, they questioned and they got nothing. It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for Democrats. Almost.

With a history of vicious misbehavior and the political calendar limiting their ability to smear Amy Coney Barrett, Dems on the Senate Judiciary Committee were reduced to being annoying nags and finger-wagging scolds. They were never going to vote for any Supreme Court nominee of President Trump’s to replace the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but they don’t even have the option of giving Barrett the Brett Kavanaugh 2.0 treatment.

Another character-assassination attempt of the kind visited on Kavanaugh two years ago — now Justice Kavanaugh — would have been risky business so close to the election, so it was politics, not decency, that stayed their bloody hands. Make no mistake, though, if they could have, the Dems would have trashed Barrett as too religious and too conservative and done everything they could short of setting the building on fire to stop her from joining the high court before the election.

As it was, they spent their time during the first day of questioning largely trying to trip her up and get her to make statements they could use as campaign fodder against Trump and the GOP. Their fallback position was to lay the groundwork for getting Barrett to recuse herself in important upcoming cases, especially the challenge to ObamaCare the court is scheduled to hear beginning Nov. 10.

They also fumed and sputtered about the possibility that the court might be called on to make key ballot rulings after the election and hoped she would not participate. No luck. They all struck out.

Their basic problem is that Barrett came across as an appealing Superwoman. Flanked by her husband, six of their seven children and her six siblings, she was flawless in answering those questions she could and in politely sidestepping the traps.
