Williamsburg And Boro Park Residents Forget they are in Galus and Protest The NYC Sheriff Dept After They Shut Down Stores

I am all for opening the stores,
but the way to do this is to put pressure on the Mayor and governor .....
Chassidim tuchislekked them, voted them into office despite the fact that they had perverted values ......
Where is Nadler? Schumer? ....Helllooow?? Anyone home?
The storekeepers should remember that they are in galus not in Israel .....
Hundreds of stores and small-businesses opened their doors on Sunday in defiance of the executive order.
As was expected, the NYC Sheriff Department visited multiple stores in Williamsburg and Boro Park to issue summonses and order the closure of the stores.
In Williamsburg and Boro Park crowds gathered to protest the closure of stores on Wallabout Street and on 13th Avenue.
In Boro Park the scene turned ugly with people screaming at the Deputies, and passersby encouraging the protesters to hold their ground and not disperse.
Naturally, social media exploded with viral videos and many are claiming that the city is targeting the Jewish neighborhoods.

Coronavirus patients no longer infectious after 11 days ...New study

Coronavirus patients stop being infectious 11 days after contracting the disease — even if they still test positive for COVID-19 on day 12, according to a new study.
Singaporean infectious disease experts said they found that the virus “could not be isolated or cultured after day 11 of illness,” according to a joint paper from the country’s National Center for Infectious Diseases and the Academy of Medicine.
Researchers looked at the “viral load” in 73 COVID-19 patients to measure whether the bug was still viable and could infect anyone.
“Based on the accumulated data since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the infectious period of [coronavirus] in symptomatic individuals may begin around 2 days before the onset of symptoms, and persists for about 7-10 days after the onset of symptoms,” the researchers wrote.
Patients may still test positive after two weeks, but tests could be picking up fragments of the virus that are no longer viable for spreading the infection, researchers said.
“Active viral replication drops quickly after the first week, and viable virus was not found after the second week of illness,” researchers wrote.
The researchers suggested that the findings could inform hospitals’ decisions about when to discharge patients.
In the US, many hospitals require patients test negative for the virus twice to be considered recovered from COVID-19.
Though the sample size was small, researchers are confident that their findings will be replicated in larger studies, NCID executive director Leo Yee-Sin told Singaporean newspaper the Strait Times.
“Scientifically, I’m very confident that there is enough evidence that the person is no longer infectious after 11 days,” she said.

The trial begins. A guide to the trial of Israel’s Prime Minister

The efforts to unseat Netanyahu failed at the polls.
Will they succeed in court? Three cases about gifts and media coverage.

When Benjamin Netanyahu appeared in the Jerusalem District Court on Sunday May 24th it made political history.it was the first time that a sitting Prime Minister has faced criminal charges.

The timing is immaculate. After a traumatic year in which three elections failed to produce a majority government, it took the political skills of Netanyahu and the conscience of opposition leader,Benny Gantz to cobble together an emergency unity government. Yet, even before this government has fully taken its Knesset seat, the acting Prime Minister has set out on a marathon legal journey to clear his name.

“There will be nothing, because there is nothing,” has been the drumbeat slogan of Bibi, as he is affectionately known.

Throughout the agonizing process of investigations by the police, acting on the orders of the State Attorney-General, Netanyahu has protested that there has been political dirty business going on aided and abetted by a compliant media. He proclaimed that the only way the opposition can get rid of him was by staging a coup using the courts as a way to removed him from power.

This may sound familiar to American readers.
Netanyahu’s lawyers have lodged over a hundred complaints of leaks to the media and prosecution witnesses talking to reporters.

Leaving aside protests, let’s look into the charges ranged against him.

Dear Europe – the Israelis are not your Jews ..... Don't Tell Us Where We Can live..

What utter Chutzpah, what gall...

Countries like France and Germany that murdered their Jewish citizens are telling Jews living in Israel that they cannot live in their own country ....

When Jordan grabbed lands in 1948, that didn't belong to them, no one said a word...

Why are the Jews in Chutz Le'aaretz silent?

The countries warning Jews not to "annex" are the countries that raped and murdered you grandparents .... not too long ago ....
How do the descendants of Nazis tell us not to "annex" when they not 75 years ago were on a mission to 'annex' the entire world?

Where is the Agudah? Where are the Chareidie Rabbanim..

Why are they allowing the children of murderers to dictate where Jews can live?

They don't want us in Europe they don't want us in any of the 22 Arab countries and soon they will deport the Jews from the USA ...
So now they don't want us in Israel either,,,

Where is everyone??
Wake Up before it's too late ...

Here read from New York-based bestselling American novelist, Jack Engelhard who writes regularly for Arutz Sheva.

Satmar Says That "Trump Announcement of Opening Houses of Worship" Was Because of the Rebbe

This is has to be the craziest and most comical story ever....Who in their right mind would really believe that President Trump, the leader of the most powerful country in the world would in anyway be influenced by R' Aron Teitelbaum? ......
Not even his own chassidim ... not one of the  Satmar Blogs  or their twitter groups dared to write these lies because no Satmar guy with brains would ever believe that ....
they tried to peddle this childish nonsense to the Chareidie news blogs but had no takers ..... so they found Matzav.com a litvishe gullible blog that totally fell for this Satmar propaganda  ........
As reported on Matzav.com, President Donald Trump announced on Friday that all governors are to allow the immediate opening of houses of worship, including shuls, and that if they do not open these houses of worship, he will intervene.
The lead-up to the president’s speech and what happened behind the scenes is largely unknown, but sources indicate that Rav Aharon Teitelbaum of Satmar’s involvement led to the president’s statement.

The days of Jordanian control, when Jews were denied access to their holy sites, are proof that 'shared sovereignty' is a delusion

by Gerald M. Steinberg
As a Jerusalemite, the degree to which the modern history of our city is mangled, distorted, and rewritten by journalists, foreign politicians and diplomats, and less-than-rigorous academics is a major source of frustration, particularly around the celebration of Jerusalem Day.
Almost inevitably, we are told that “East Jerusalem” and the “Old City were captured by Israel from Jordan during the 1967 war, without reference to the status of this city between 1948 and 1967.
Outside of Israel, the false narrative portraying Palestinians exclusively as victims and Israel as “occupiers” has replaced the actual history, and substituted propaganda for justice.
The continuing impact of the 1948-1967 Jordanian occupation is central to understanding the broad Israeli rejection of grand peace plans to re-divide this city, including the mirages of “shared sovereignty” and internationalization. While such creative political architecture may sound good, the history of this period should remind us that in practice, such visions will return us to the bad old days,
Jews have lived in Jerusalem continuously, and were the majority population in the decades before the 1948 war.
The destruction and ethnic cleansing of the ancient Jewish Quarter in the Old City began following the UN Partition Resolution on November 27 1947.
Arab forces blocked the access road from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, and numerous Israeli efforts to end this blockade failed, with major casualties. As a result, few reinforcements were available, and on May 28, the Jordanian army (also known as the “Arab Legion”) completed the capture of the Jewish Quarter.

Gov. Ron DeSantis had the right coronavirus response — but the media won’t tell you that

A couple of months ago, the media, almost as one, decided that Gov. Ron DeSantis was a public menace who was going to get Floridians killed with his lax response to the coronavirus crisis.
In an interview with National Review, DeSantis says he was surprised at “how knee-jerk” the hostile coverage was, but he “also knew that none of these people knew anything about Florida at all, so I didn’t care what they were saying.”
The conventional wisdom has begun to change about Florida, as the disaster so widely predicted hasn’t materialized. It’s worth delving into the state’s response because it is the opposite of the media narrative of a Trump-friendly governor disregarding the facts to pursue a reckless agenda. DeSantis and his team have followed the science closely from the beginning, which is why they forged a nuanced approach, but one that focused like a laser on the most vulnerable population, those in nursing homes.

Satmar Yeshivah in Monroe Issued Cease-And-Desist Letter For Illegally Reopening

A Hudson Valley school was ordered to close this week after “hundreds” of students were reportedly found inside the building without proper personal protective equipment against state orders.
The Orange County Health Department served a cease-and-desist letter to the United Talmudical Academy (UTA) of Kiryas Joel Boys School in Palm Tree after officials visited the school with New York State Police troopers and found “what appeared to be hundreds of students inside.”
According to reports, the students were not socially distancing or wearing PPE, both against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order that was issued in March closing schools.
At the time health officials visited the school, there were reportedly dozens of students in classrooms not practicing social distancing, with very few wearing masks.
The school is part of the United Talmudical Academy, the largest of three Hasidic school systems serving roughly 14,500 children in Orange County. It was notified of the cease-and-desist order on Wednesday, May 20.
  •  “It has come to our attention that your school has opened in violation of the Governor’s Executive Orders and is operating in a way which endangers the hundreds of students and others who are entering or remaining in that facility,” County Health Commissioner Irina Gelman stated. “COVID-19 is a rapidly spreading infection which appears to be transmitted by droplets and close contact.”
If the school continues to operate, officials said that it could face criminal prosecution, including criminal negligence for individuals.

Rabbi Yisroel Brog RY Tiferes Avigdor , Wickliffe Ohio..decries Mesira during the Corona Virus

While heimishe people are dropping dead like flies in New York, Rabbi Yisroel Brog brings a Chasam Sofer and a Rebbe Akiva Eiger condemning those who closed the shuls smack during the "megifah"....
His proof from Akivah Eiger was that when there was a pandemic far greater then Covid-19, R' Akivah Eiger insisted on keeping the shuls open ... but doesn't mention how many people got killed because of that decision ......

What is interesting is what  Rabbi Brog decided to leave out of the R' Akivah Eiger's psak....
R' Akivah Eiger requested that Soldiers ... Goyim.. and Police... Goyim ..be in the shuls to monitor social distancing

גאון הדורות רבי עקיבא איגר ,
in his famous letter to his תלמיד, הגה”ק רבי אליהו גוטמאכר מגריידיץ writes in his עצות  for healthy actions during the מגפה of 1831-1832 that took place in Poland & Germany. When רע”א formulated  תקנות for תפילות on ראש השנה ויום הכיפורים, he placed soldiers and police officers in each shul. The translation of the original German text is found in פסקים ותקנות רע”א דף ע”ב (you can find it on אוצר החכמה). I can’t imagine the awe and יראת הכבוד they had for רע”א, yet he insisted on police and army supervision! הפלא ופלא!

Rabbi Brog accuses frum people of "mesirah" taking photos of those who didn't care to spread death and sick ....
Rabbi Brog condemns Dr Deitchik (not by name , God forbid) and mocks others in the medical profession ...

Rabbi Brog asks why supermarkets can be open ...
Helllllllllow????
People have to shop to eat! ....but being in shul staying in close quarters for over 3 to 4 hours can ...yes kill you ...yes absolutely..

Is Rabbi Brog ready to take responsibility for the dead??
Is he taking the responsibility of the sick...?

See quote from R' Akiva Eiger that Rabbi Brog didn't tell you about..

To quote רע”א again, שם דף ע”ז (loose translation)
“one who transgresses (רע”א’s guidelines) he is liable (ה’ ישמור) with his life. Additionally, they are responsible for bringing tragedy (ה’ ישמור) by  tripping others, and he will ultimately have to answer ליתן את הדין for himself and others .. and be scrupulously careful, for it is equal to שפיכת דמים (ח”ו).

Well let's hope this virus comes to a quick end and we won't have to listen to these self appointed "know it alls"

For all that is holy, don’t tell me how to cover my hair

by Tzivi Nochenson

At my first kiruv shabbaton nearly 10 years ago, I was sitting next to my college roommate. We were at an oneg on a Friday night after the meal. The scene was completely unchartered territory. We were at a stranger’s stunning Brooklyn home with shining hardwood floors, tasteful chandeliers and a dessert buffet that could rival any cruise ship. There were a handful of women there, dressed head to toe in what I imagined as the Saks Fifth Avenue modest collection, and various speakers.
After watching these women for nearly thirty minutes I turned to my roommate and said “You know they are all wearing wigs, right?” Her chin nearly hit the ground. She was in complete and total shock! I will never forget when I was newly religious and my grandmother so notably said “Why cover your hair with hair? It makes no sense!” I did not have an answer for her then, but I do now.
Time went on and years later I was an Orthodox woman dating for marriage. I had made a conscious choice that when the time came, I would cover my hair when I got married. However, I felt strongly that I needed a wig. And not just one wig, but multiple wigs. I needed to feel like me. I was one of those people who adored their hair.
It was long, thick and shiny. I frequented hair salons for highlights, cuts, deep conditioning treatments, and my personal favorite, a blow out. Yes, I paid someone to wash and style my hair for me, gosh I miss those. So naturally when I began covering my hair, wigs were a must. Now, I alternate between all different types of coverings. Granted the high is over 100 degrees where I live all week, so I have a feeling my wigs will be collecting dust over the next little while.
Covering my hair is hard. It can be annoying, inconvenient and downright uncomfortable. I do it because I believe it is what G-d wants, and how I choose to do it is entirely up to me. Or maybe according to some people, I am doing it all wrong.
