Shulamit Rachel Ovadia Murdered By Arab Who Hangs Himself .

Authorities on Wednesday identified the victim of Tuesday’s deadly terrorist attack in Holon as 84-year-old Shulamit Rachel Ovadia, a resident of Holon who lived near the scene of the attack.

Ovadia is survived by her husband and three children.

Earlier Wednesday morning, police announced that they had found the body of the terrorist responsible for Tuesday’s attack.

The terrorist, 28-year-old Musa Sarsur, a resident of the Palestinian Authority-administered town of Qalqilya, was found dead at a construction site on Bar Kochva Street in Tel Aviv.

Police say Sarsur committed suicide after he realized he was being pursued by Israeli security forces, hanging himself at the construction site.

According to a preliminary investigation, Sarsur entered Israel legally Tuesday morning with a valid work permit.

On Tuesday afternoon, Sarsur murdered Ovadia outside of the construction site where Sarsur worked. He then fled the scene.

A manhunt was launched for Sarsur Tuesday night, only to be called off Wednesday morning, after police received a report that a man heading to synagogue for morning prayers in Tel Aviv had spotted Sarsur’s remains.

Overnight, IDF forces working with Border Police officers and Shin Bet agents arrested 11 suspects in Judea and Samaria, including relatives of Sarsur.

Booking.com will begin adding danger warnings to Judea and Samaria listings .. Time to Boycott them

The online travel agency Booking.com said Monday it plans to add warnings to listings in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, becoming the latest foreign company to wade into one of the world’s most contentious debates.

Booking.com said it would caution customers booking accommodations in Israeli settlements that they were traveling to a “disputed, conflict-affected or high-risk” area that “may pose greater risks.”

The company told The Associated Press that it was still working on the language of the safety warning for the Israeli-occupied West Bank and a few other regions around the world. It did not say when the alert would take effect.

The move would come as violence rises in the West Bank, with raids by Israeli forces in cities and villages leaving at least 85 Palestinians dead so far this year. On Monday, the Israeli army said a vehicle came under fire as it passed by a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank. No injuries were reported.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry declined to comment.

Some 700,000 Jewish settlers live in the occupied West Bank and annexed east Jerusalem.

Online travel companies like Airbnb and Booking.com long have faced pressure from Palestinian officials, activists and human rights groups to end their listings there.

But they risk Israeli fury if they do. Israel and its supporters have accused those who support anti-Israel boycotts, including products made in the settlements, of antisemitism. Airbnb scrapped its plan to bar listings in the settlements in 2019 after lawsuits were filed against it in the United States and Israel.

Booking.com’s announcement did not directly question the legitimacy or legality of the settlements, and instead focused on safety. To some Israelis, the disclaimer showed Israel’s pressure has paid off.

“It shows Booking.com has paid attention to the massive damage Airbnb and Ben & Jerrys did to themselves when they adopted a boycott of Israeli controlled territories,” said Eugene Kontorovich, director of the international law department at the Kohelet Policy Forum, a conservative Israeli think tank. “At the same time they want to throw a bone to anti-Israel activists.”

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the largest Muslim civil rights group in the US, welcomed the travel warning as a decision to “recognize the reality of the occupation and human rights abuses,” calling on more foreign corporations to do the same.

Booking.com said its safety banner for the West Bank would resemble those currently shown for accommodations in Ukraine or Cyprus. The site’s warning for Ukraine cautions travelers of “an increased risk to customers’ safety in this location” and urges them to “review travel guidelines for this area provided by your government.”

The company declined to say whether the warning would also apply to Palestinian properties in the West Bank, such as in the cities of Hebron or Ramallah.

Liberal Phony "fact-checkers" collaborated to hide the real origins of COVID

In yet another black mark for social media censorship, it turns out that one of the key figures in the blocking of the February 2020 Post opinion column that floated the COVID lab-leak theory had a huge vested interest in suppressing the idea.

Prominent virologist Danielle Anderson served as one of the loudest voices condemning Steven Mosher’s prescient and since-vindicated column, which explained that the pandemic might have started at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. But now it turns out she was deeply involved in the risky gain-of-function research that many analysts now believe may have led to the initial COVID outbreak.

That is, she was protecting her own work, and that of her colleagues, from scrutiny and/or ill repute.

Anderson called our story “appalling” and “infuriating” and said claims that the institute was a bioweapons-research facility were “simply false.” Yet her name appeared on grants for projects working with coronaviruses, including one from the National Institutes of Health to Peter Daszak, a central figure in the global effort to demonize any talk of an unnatural origin for COVID (along with Anthony Fauci and other infectious-disease bigwigs).

Like most of the regular media, Facebook got conned into cracking the whip, banning our opinion piece as disinformation.

Eventually, the State Department determined that the institute had “collaborated on publications and secret projects with China’s military” and built “a published record of conducting ‘gain-of-function‘ research to engineer chimeric viruses.” Plus, China’s government “prevented independent journalists, investigators and global health authorities from interviewing researchers” at the institute.

Now the lab-leak theory has gained wide acceptance as a possibility. But we’ll likely never know for sure: Thanks to Anderson & Co., there was no pressure for an early independent investigation of the lab, and Beijing has surely destroyed any evidence.

It’s fresh proof that the fact-checking industry is more than merely dishonest and partisan, it’s dangerous — and that the effort to obscure the virus’ source came from the highest levels not just in China, but here at home.

DeSantis Will be "me'zakeh" Biden with the Mitzvah of "Hachnosis Orchim" sending plane of migrants to Biden’s summer home

President Biden made light of the potential arrival of migrants at an airport near his “summer White House” in Delaware on Tuesday by sarcastically inviting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to the area.

During an unrelated event at the White House, Biden brushed off a reporter’s question about DeSantis’ apparent plan to send a planeload of migrants to the president’s home state, just days after targeting a posh liberal enclave in Massachusetts.

“He should come visit,” Biden cracked.

“We have a beautiful shoreline.”

Earlier, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the White House was bracing for the migrants’ pending arrival.

“We have received word of the flights,” Jean-Pierre said during an afternoon briefing.

“We are coordinating closely with state officials and local service providers who are prepared to welcome these families in an orderly manner as they pursue their asylum claims.”

Record Number of New Yorkers Moving to Florida

The COVID-driven rush of New Yorkers into Florida has turned into a stampede — with no end in sight.

A record-breaking number of Empire State residents switched their driver’s licenses to the Sunshine State version last month, according to a Post analysis of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles data.

A total of 5,838 New Yorkers made the switch in August — the highest recorded number for a single month in history, the numbers show.

Year to date, 41,885 New Yorkers have handed over their licenses after moving south, a torrid pace that’s pointing to a new annual record.

Some observers had speculated that the outbound flow would ease with COVID receding and cities opening back up.

But the latest figures suggest otherwise.

Don Lemon Suggested Royal Family Should Pay Reparations. What Happened Next Is the Stuff of Legends.

“England is facing rising costs of living, a living crisis, austerity budget cuts, and so on. And then you have those who are asking for reparations for colonialism, and they’re wondering, you know, $100 billion, $24 billion here and there, $500 million there,” Lemon explained. “Some people want to be paid back, and members of the public are wondering, ‘Why are we suffering when you are, you know, you have all of this vast wealth?’ Those are legitimate concerns.”

Her response was epic. After initially giving the impression that she agreed with Lemon, she schooled him royally.

“Well, I think you’re right about reparations in terms of if people want it, though, what they need to do is you always need to go back to the beginning of a supply chain,” Fordwich replied. “Where was the beginning of the supply chain? That was in Africa, and when it crossed the entire world, when slavery was taking place, which was the first nation in the world that abolished slavery? The first nation world to abolish it, it was started by William Wilberforce, was the British. In Great Britain, they abolished slavery.”

She continued, “Two thousand naval men died on the high seas trying to stop slavery. Why? Because the African kings were rounding up their own people, they had them on cages waiting in the beaches. No one was running into Africa to get them. And I think you’re totally right.”

The look on Lemon’s face was priceless. Fordwich succeeded in agreeing with him, although for different reasons than he was obviously suggesting. And she wasn’t done with the lesson.

Biden’s “Unity” Event Bans Chassidim but Invites Antisemite Al Sharpton

Two well-known Charedim, and possibly other orthodox Jews, were apparently snubbed by President Biden last week.

Biden held a “unity” summit, but ironically excluded multiple religious Jews, including Duvi Honig. In addition the White House barred journalist Jake Turx from participating in the main event.

Making this especially painful was the fact that the orthodox community has been targeted by the exact hate crimes that the event was specifically designed to tackle.

The summit was requested by antisemite Al Sharpton following a mass shooting in Buffalo of 10 black shoppers. The event brought together hundreds of minority activists and community leaders, yet Orthodox Jews, who proportionally may be the biggest victims of hate crimes, struggled to be allowed in.

A group of four journalists from Ami magazine led by Turx were banned from the main event: a speech by Biden that was attended by hundreds.

For First Time In 2000 Years, 5 Kosher Para Adumahs Land In Israel

Hundreds of people gathered at Ben Gurion airport to witness an amazing and rare sight: Five kosher red heifers (Parah Aduma) which can be used for the purification of the dead.

For nearly 2000 years there has been no possibility for Jews to purify themselves are coming into contact with the dead, but the heifers, which have been checked and authorized by a number of rabbis, could enable this mitzvah to be fulfilled in the near future. According to the Rambam, the red heifer rites will be renewed at the time when Moshiach is near.

Iranian Forces Murder 5 of their own citizens During Protest Over Woman’s Death

Iranian security forces killed five protesters who took to the streets of the capital on Monday to protest the death of a young woman who had been detained for violating the country’s conservative dress code.

Security forces fired on protesters in Iran’s Kurdish region, according to a report by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization. Five were killed, 75 were wounded, and at least 250 people were arrested.

Magen David Yeshiva asks transgender teacher to leave amid uproar over her identity

Talia Avrahami, a transgender woman who left her position at a Brooklyn yeshiva, after a controversy over her identity.

With her husband and daughter

A transgender woman left her teaching position at an Orthodox Jewish New York City day school this week, after an uproar over her identity.

The teacher, Talia Avrahami, has faced widespread harassment in the past week over the issue and agreed on Friday to leave her position at the Magen David Yeshivah in Brooklyn.

“It’s sad to see that some people want to derail our lives,” Avrahami told The Times of Israel. “We’re questioning whether or not our entire lives are ruined or not. It’s tough.”

The school told her she was not a good fit for the social studies class.

The religious Jewish day school, or yeshiva, sent an email to parents over the weekend, saying, “Please be advised that beginning Monday, September 19th, your child will have a replacement teacher for Social Studies.”

“We respect this former instructor and after mutual agreement have parted ways in an amicable and professional manner,” the school told The Times of Israel. Avrahami said she could not discuss details of her resignation.

The incident has been widely discussed in online public forums in the religious New York Jewish community.

Avrahami was asked to leave days after the school’s “parents night,” when the students’ parents visit the school to meet with teachers.

One of the parents apparently filmed Avrahami introducing herself and the video spread quickly online and in group chats, stoking controversy, as some accused her of being a man masquerading as a woman.

Avrahami has since been targeted online and in person. She was attacked on social media, community sites ran stories with accusatory headlines, and she started receiving harassing messages from strangers, as her phone number and social media accounts circulated.

Lebanon Arrests American Yeshiva Student as a Spy then releases him

Lebanese security forces arrested an American Jew last week after finding out he had recently been in Israel, according to a Monday report.

He was detained in Beirut and released after several days, the Kan public broadcaster reported.

Lebanese authorities apparently suspected the man of espionage or collaborating with Israel, the report said.

The man in his 20s had recently studied in a Jerusalem yeshiva and arrived in Lebanon after visiting Cyprus. He intended to travel from Lebanon to the Kurdish region of Iraq, the report said.

Officials involved in the case told Kan that after the man arrived in Lebanon and went to his hotel, Lebanese security forces arrested him there because they had discovered he ordered the hotel reservation from Israel.

His passport also had markings indicating it had been used in Israel.

The incident was kept quiet in Lebanon, as American officials, including Congress members, pressed for the man’s release, the report said.

He was eventually released on Thursday or Friday and traveled from Lebanon to the United Arab Emirates, Kan reported.

The report comes as Israel and Lebanon navigate delicate US-brokered negotiations over access to offshore gas reserves.

Israel and Lebanon are technically at war and do not have diplomatic ties, and the powerful Lebanese Hezbollah terror group has repeatedly threatened Israel over the gas fields.

Lebanese President Michel Aoun said Monday the negotiations to end the maritime border dispute were in their “final stages.”

Prime Minister Yair Lapid expressed optimism but said Israel will extract gas from the Karish offshore field with or without an agreement.

A Conversation in Shul about the "Shidduch Crises"

A conversation in shul recently took place on a Sunday morning between a prominent lawyer talmid chochom and a mechanech.  The subject of the conversation was about a Kollel for single bochurim. The conversation went something like this:

Mechanech:  “The aim is to create Torah scholars for the next generation that are fully proficient in seder nezikin and Choshain Mishpat.  Twenty-five bochurim would be hand-picked for their commitment to learning Torah b’hasmadah, for their ability to study Torah in great depth, and for their ehrlichkeit.  The Kollel would pay the bochurim $50,000 per year in order to ensure that their financial needs would be met – allowing them to learn undisturbed.  The only condition of the Kollel is that the twenty-five bochurim must commit to remain in the Kollel until the age of forty, and to remain single during the duration.”

The response from the lawyer was, “WHAT?  That is against halacha!”

“Why?  It is for Torah growth.”

“But until forty?  I have never heard of such a thing.  Chazal tell us that one must marry young.  This is something that Gedolei HaDor, the einei yisroel must pasken.  And I highly doubt that this question was brought up to them.”

“But think of the future benefits..  Don’t you see the advantages of such an idea?”

“Yes, but I also see the disadvantages – The Gemorah encourages everyone to marry young.  Also, it would exasperate an already catastrophic shidduch situation.”

“Okay, but what would you say if they knocked down that last requirement to 35 years of age.  There are plenty of bochurim that do get married at 35.  Then would you agree that it is a good idea?”

“Absolutely not!  We don’t change what Chazal tell us – no matter what.”

“Well, you wouldn’t disagree with it  if it was until age 30.  If they adjusted the requirement until age 30 – then you would surely be behind it, no?”

“I would ask Gedolei Torah.  I would not go a day longer than what the Gedolim would say. But I still think that they would never agree to such an idea.

See this Front Page of Satmar Newspaper "Der Blatt"

It reads "Milchama" WAR!

Do they mean, chas veshalom, the war that Gaza perpetrated against Israel, when Arab murderers rained over 4,000 missiles against innocent Jews?
Naa!
For that they could only find a little corner on the bottom of the page.
So, what "War" are they talking about?

They are talking about the "war"...  the article posted in Yiddish by The New York Times!
An article that took Chassidishe Yeshivos to task for taking money from the "medina" the government but refusing to teach basic secular subjects like English, Math, which they promised to do.
I wrote previously that I am against government intervention in private schools, but having said that, I have to point out that their "war story" is an outright lie!

All "Yeshivishe" chadarim teach these basic secular subjects in all their moisdois. Even in Chassidishe schools, they used to teach these subjects, see the Bobover ad below. They teach it in Stolin, Chasan Sofer and Ger.
The Bobover Rebbe, R' Shlomo z"l used to hire English teachers to teach his son, R' Ben Zion, the Rebbe of the entire 48th Street!

I had friends that used to teach English and Math in Satmar! Yes, you read that right...in Satmar. But that went out the window years ago, because it was hard to find English teachers that would put up with the sheer chutzpa, disrespect and no basic derech eretz from these Satmar children.
They do teach these secular subjects in their girl's schools today and teach it to Satmar children that are challenged.

So to teach girls that will be the עקרת הבית, and will ultimately be responsible for the רוחניות of their families, that is ok, but to teach basic English to the ones who are responsible for the פרנסה that is chazir treif!

In addition, their fictious lie that this was their "mesorah" not to teach secular subjects is laughable.
Practically all Satmar Chassidim speak and write Hungarian fluently, the barbaric language, to this day.
When their ancestors lived in Romania which turned into Hungary, they were required to learn the language, and this was taught in their moisdois. The girls had to go to public school where they sat with goyim and shiksas to learn Hungarian. After the war, they brought this ugly language to the USA; a lot of them could not speak Yiddish.

They had no such mesorah!
In fact, it was the Jews living in Poland and the Litvaks that, didn't learn the language, though the women did go to "gymnasium" a Public High School. In fact, after the war, most Jewish Polish survivors that I knew couldn't speak Polish, while all the Hungarians spoke Hungarian!

In the Lita, where they didn't teach secular subjects, the students of the top yeshivois like Volozin were drawn to the Haskala and most of them were lost to yiddishkeit, except of course when Hitler ym"s reminded their children and grandchildren that they were indeed, Jews!

In fact, the Litvaks keep repeating the lie that the Netziv closed the Yeshiva because the Russians required the Yeshiva to introduce Russian. This lie has been repeated so many times, that it is now a fact, though, it's actually a lie. The Yeshiva was closed because of family infighting shhhhhhhh! (והמבין יבין)

All the politicians that the Chassidishe Moisdois "tuchis lekked" like Nadler, Goldman and their lovely girlfriend Hochul stabbed them in the back and front and backed openly the decision from the Regents  to oversee Yeshivois. (though Hochol Pokas remained silent).

The bottom line is, that Satmar may have to take their own advice they freely give to the moisdos of Israel, not to take any money from the "medina."
This may actually be a "war" but until they stop taking money, like the Amish in Pennsylvania, they lost it!

Herzog pays respects to Queen Elizabeth as she lies in state

President Isaac Herzog and his wife, Michal, paid their final respects to the UK’s Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday, passing by her coffin as she lay in state at the British Parliament in London.

Herzog is one of many world leaders who arrived in London ahead of the queen’s funeral on Monday.

“On behalf of the State of Israel, its citizens, and the Jewish People, I paid respects to HM Queen Elizabeth II at her Lying-in-State,” Herzog tweeted. “The Queen was a true ‘woman of valour,’ as we say in the Jewish tradition, a beacon of stability and a historic figure. We grieve with Britain.”

Herzog later signed a condolence book for the queen at Lancaster House in London.

In an English-language video message, Herzog offered his condolences on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.

“She was truly a leader that transcends time, intergenerational, she saw where the world was 70 years ago and how it is today. Her reign was truly majestic and she truly personified the word majesty,” he said.

“In fact, she showed stability, strength, and wisdom which was radiated throughout the world.”

The “amazing” scenes outside as Britons mourned the queen were something, Herzog said, “we will never forget.”

“The people of Israel and the people of Britain are really close friends and our nations are closer than ever,” he said.

Herzog also wished the new king good luck in his role:

“I would like to wish King Charles III a long reign of peace, justice, stability and dignity. May he succeed and God bless the King,” he declared.

On Sunday evening the Herzogs attended a state reception for the visiting world leaders, hosted by King Charles.

Guests included US President Joe Biden, France’s President Emmanuel Macron, and British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Also on the guest list were many heads of Arab states among them King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tarik, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister and vice president of the United Arab Emirates.

Kuwait Crown Prince Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai, were also at the event, described in British press as “the reception of the century.”

It was the largest such British royal reception for world leaders since the death of Queen Elizabeth II’s father, George VI, in 1952.

A state funeral will be held Monday for the queen at Westminster Abbey, the imposing location for royal coronations, marriages and funerals for more than 1,000 years.

After the funeral, the flag-draped coffin of the queen, topped with the majestic Imperial State Crown, will be taken west to Windsor Castle, where she will be laid to rest.

In this Crazed World a Baltimore police arrests ‘good guy with the gun’ who stopped armed attacker

After Marine veteran Lloyd Muldrow stopped an attack by an armed assailant at a Baltimore bar, police officers thanked him — and then they arrested him.

Now the Good Samaritan credited with saving a man’s life faces up to a year in prison, charged with violating a city ordinance that forbids bringing handguns within 100 feet of a public building, even though he neutralized the attack without drawing his pistol.

Mr. Muldrow, a North Carolina security specialist, holds a concealed weapons permit, but it was issued in Virginia, not Maryland. Even so, he has no intention of accepting a plea deal when he appears at his Oct. 31 hearing in Baltimore Circuit Court.

“I’m not going to settle with probation or anything like that. I don’t think it’s fair,” he told The Washington Times. “I’ve carried overseas in different countries, and you’re telling me I can’t carry my weapon from one state to another? I’ve trained more than the average police officer, and I can’t carry from Virginia to Maryland? I have a real big problem with that.”

His attorney, Michael Stark of Maryland’s Stark Defense, said that the “good guy with the gun was placed under arrest for having a gun.”

The New "Toe Shaitlach" Requirements Causing Major Shidduch Problems
