Daniel Simon Yacobi, 36, is charged in the murder of his mother, 67-year-old Violet Yacobi
A prominent California dentist plead not guilty to murder Wednesday after prosecutors say he strangled his mother to death last October for financial gain.
Daniel Simon Yacobi, 36, was charged with strangling his mother, 67-year-old Violet Yacobi, who was found dead in her Beverly Hills home on October 10. Her daughter made a 911 call after finding her mother unconscious and not breathing.
The Coroner’s office determined she has been strangled and ruled her death a homicide. Despite being pronounced dead on the scene, prosecutors say she was killed the day before.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said that the case against Yacobi includes a special circumstance allegation of murder for financial gain.
Authorities have not yet revealed a motive.
In an eerie turn of events, Yacobi took to Facebook last month to remember his mother’s “unrelenting and everlasting love.”

Charedi rabbis Instill Hate Against IDF by banning the dressing up as IDF soldiers during Purim
Instead of doing their jobs to spread love for other Jews, Chareidei Rabbonim decided to use the festival of Purim to use their influence to poison and instill blatant hatred against their fellow Jews in uniform ...
This was predicted by the Talmud over 2,000 years ago, when the Chazal foresaw that the leaders of Klall Yisroel during the times of Moshiach will be like "the faces of dogs!"
This time added to the gang of Litvishe Gedoilim, Sfardie Gedoilim signed the edict.....
Remember this when the Sfardie Rabbis in their fancy frocks come schnoor in your schuls.
As the Purim holiday approaches, a group of 35 leading Sephardic haredi rabbis penned a letter expressing their opposition to the popular custom of dressing up as IDF soldiers.
The rabbis wrote that dressing up as soldiers would be improper "at a time when the government is trying to seduce and intimidate the youth," into serving in the army, and alleged that the costumes would legitimize IDF service in the haredi community.
The rabbis wrote that instead of IDF soldiers, "children should be encouraged to dress up like rabbis and righteous people in order to emulate them."
"These costumes have a great influence on the souls of our children and their aspirations and we need to educate them to stay away from this ugliness," added the letter, which was signed by senior rabbis in some of the most prominent Sephardic yeshivas, including Rabbi Shalom Cohen, who heads the Shas party's Council of Torah Sages.
The letter marks the first time that senior rabbis of the Sephardic haredi stream have issued a ban on such costumes. While rabbis from the Lithuanian-haredi stream have been issuing such letters annually since 2013, the Sephardic rabbis are considered more moderate in their attitude towards IDF service.

Why I went from Catholic schoolgirl to Chasidic Jewish wife
Growing up in a Catholic family in East New York in the ’90s, Yehudit Chervony, nee Yomaira Tamayo, didn’t even know what a Jew was. Now, she belongs to a strict Hasidic sect in New York.
“I would drive through Williamsburg and I remember thinking, ‘What language is that?’ I thought they were Amish,” says Chervony, 34.

A former student opened fire with a semi-automatic rifle at a Florida high schoolWednesday, killing at least 17 people and sending hundreds of students fleeing into the streets in the nation’s deadliest school shooting since a gunman attacked an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
The shooter, who was equipped with a gas mask and smoke grenades, set off a fire alarm to draw students out of classrooms shortly before the day ended at one of the state’s largest schools, officials said.
Authorities offered no immediate details on the 19-year-old suspect or any possible motive, except to say that he had been kicked out of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which has about 3,000 students.
Students who knew the shooter, identified as Nikolas Cruz, described a volatile teenager whose strange behavior had caused others to end friendships with him, particularly after the fight that led to his expulsion.
Sources confirm that a few hundred Jewish teenagers attend this school. At least one Jewish student is missing. Please say Tehillim for Rochel bas Leah. As of this posting, her parents have still not located her.
“It was a wrenching scene,” Rabbi Mendy Gutnick, youth director at Chabad of Parkland, told Chabad.org. “Parents were gathered outside while their children were still inside of the school, and they had no way to save them.”
“Together with Rabbi Shuey Biston, I rushed to the school to give support to anyone we could. The school is at least 40% Jewish, so we know many of the students and their parents,” he continued. “We went from parent to parent and tried to offer as much comfort as possible, and helped them recite Psalms, praying for the students and faculty in the school. ”
The rabbi said he is coordinating with his fellow Chabad rabbis from nearby Coral Springs, home of many of the students, to hold an evening of prayer, consolation and memorial later this week.

Amazing Collection, New York Early 1900's (In Color)
Notice no fat people.....
All the adults in these pictures are all dead. Even the Children are dead.
Shockingly most of these photographs are way more in super HD than some of the crappy cameras we have today......how possible is that.
Even some of the horrible black and white photographs from the apollo missions 60 years later are almost decaying.
Even though the Headline reads "New York," there are some photos from other states for example

Police called as Ponovitz "Torah Learners" Knock the Crap Out of Each Other!
A long-standing quarrel in Bnei Brak's flagship Lithuanian-haredi Ponevezh Yeshiva exploded Saturday night, as a mass brawl erupted between rival factions in the yeshiva dormitory.
Students threw chairs at each other and dumped heavy objects down flights of stairs, causing thousands of shekels worth of damage.
The fracas is part of a long-running conflict among students of the yeshiva, pitting the supporters of Rabbi Shmuel Markovitz, nicknamed the "haters," against a faction led by Rabbi Eliezer Kahaneman, called the "terrorists".
POLICE RECOMMEND NETANYAHU BE INDICTED FOR ACCEPTING CIGARS AND CHAMPAGNE!
Israel Police recommended indicting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for bribery and breach of trust in two cases Tuesday night, Israel's Channel 2 and Channel 10 reported.
After a 14-month-long investigation, police announced on Tuesday that it found enough evidence to recommend the state’s prosecution to indict Netanyahu for bribery and breach of trust in Case 1000, the “gifts affair" and Case 2000, the "Yediot Aharanot Affair."
In Case 1000, the “gifts affair,” it is alleged that Netanyahu improperly accepted expensive cigars and Champagne from different businessmen.
In Case 2000, the “Yediot Aharonot affair,” Netanyahu allegedly negotiated with publisher Arnon “Noni” Mozes for favorable coverage of himself in Yediot Aharonot in exchange for support of a bill to weaken Israel Hayom, the largest circulation Hebrew-language paper and Yediot’s biggest competitor.
Police also recommended indicting Mozes and Hollywood film producer Arnon Milchan, who is among those alleged to have given Netanyahu expensive gifts as bribes.
The prime minister, in the past, rejected both allegations claiming that "it is not illegal to accept gifts from friends" and that "Nothing will happen because nothing happened."
At this stage, the prosecution and Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit will examine the evidence that police collected throughout the investigations, and will later decide whether to actually indict the prime minister or not.
Netanyahu is not required at this point to resign from office. The law says that only after a peremptory Supreme Court verdict (meaning after an appeal was submitted and rejected), the prime minister must resign from office.
These police recommendations come in the shadow of an ongoing campaign by Netanyahu to discharge the credibility of his investigators.
The premier’s attacks were made in response to remarks made by Police Commissioner Insp.-Gen. Roni Alsheich, who hinted that Netanyahu had sent private investigators to collect information against police officers who are involved in his case.
On Thursday, Netanyahu said on Facebook: “It’s shocking to see that he [Alsheich] is repeating the outlandish and false claim that [I] supposedly used private investigators against police officers.”
“Every decent person will ask himself: How can people who say such outlandish things regarding the prime minister then question him objectively and be impartial when it is time to reach a decision about him?” Netanyahu asked.
In four Facebook posts that followed, Netanyahu repeated the notion that if that is the situation, these recommendations are worthless.

Schumer’s Jab At Orthodox Jews Is ‘Hypocritical Chutzpah’ Hikind!
NYS Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) called Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s recent criticism of the Orthodox Jews the height of political hypocrisy. At a meeting between Jewish organizational officials and Democratic senators, Schumer blamed Orthodox Jews for not doing more to call out President Trump on what the Senator felt was Trump’s failure to confront hate in the United States.
“Singling out Orthodox Jews was distasteful, shameful and arrogant,” said Hikind, a fellow Democrat. “This statement of Senator Schumer’s was nothing less than his playing to his progressive liberal base. If the Senator was genuinely concerned about confronting hate and anti-Semitism, he wouldn’t have given President Obama a pass when the Obama administration did everything possible to marginalize Israel. Where was Schumer when Linda Sarsour showed support for terrorists and undermined the existence of Israel? Or when Black Lives Matter adopted anti-Israel platforms? Has the Senator held press conferences confronting the racist BDS movement, which seeks to isolate and starve innocent Israelis? The best candidate who Senator Schumer saw fit to lead the DNC was Keith Ellison, a friend of Louis Farakhan who called Hitler ‘a great man.’
“The Orthodox community does not need to be lectured by Senator Schumer. Let the good Senator work on alleviating anti-Israel animus within segments of the Democratic party. Because, as we all know, anti-Israel rhetoric and ‘anti-Zionism’ is simply the 21st century version of anti-Semitism.”

Malka Leifer arrested in Israel
Malka "the chazerte" Leifer |
A frum woman wanted in Australia on charges of sexually assaulting minors was arrested Monday after a police undercover operation led to the conclusion that she was faking mental illness to avoid being extradited.
Malka Leifer, the former principal of the Adass Israel School in Melbourne, fled to Israel from Australia in 2008, days before allegations of sexual abuse against her surfaced.
She was arrested Monday in the northern West Bank on suspicion of obstructing court proceedings and attempting to hide evidence of a case, according to a joint Justice Ministry and police statement. She had been living in the West Bank settlement of Emmanuel.
“The female suspect will be brought to the Petah Tikva Magistrate’s Court to extend her detention,” said the statement, which didn’t name Leifer. “The Department for International Affairs will look into the process of having the suspect extradited to Australia.”
Police began an undercover operation a month ago at the request of Interpol, the force said.
Leifer, in her 50s, is wanted in Australia for alleged sexual offenses against pupils at the Adass school when she was a teacher and then principal.
Australian authorities first filed a request for her extradition in 2014. She was arrested in Israel at the time but was later released to house arrest while awaiting extradition to Melbourne where she faces 74 charges of sexual abuse of girls at the school.
However, in June 2016 an Israeli court stopped the extradition processafter a psychiatric assessment found that she was not fit to stand trial. Mental health professionals, including the Jerusalem district psychiatrist, previously confirmed that Leifer’s panic attacks prior to her scheduled court appearances were genuine and said the proceedings of a court hearing put her under extreme anxiety.
Over the next six months a psychiatric committee continued to carry out assessments, and repeatedly found she was not able to stand trial.
“During 2017 there were indications that the suspect was pretending to be suffering from a mental illness in order to avoid the extradition process, and as a result, the police again opened an investigation that led to her arrest this morning,” the statement said.
Manny Waks, CEO of Kol v’Oz, an organization that aims to address child sex abuse in Jewish communities around the world, welcomed the news of Leifer’s detention.
“I’m delighted to hear of Malka Leifer’s arrest and hope that it is the re-commencement of a process that leads to her extradition to Australia to face her accusers,” he said in a statement. “Her arrest is a credit to the many people who have worked tirelessly to ensure that she will be held to account and can no longer be a potential threat to children in Israel. I’m especially happy for her courageous alleged victims.”
In April 2016, one of Leifer’s alleged victims sued the former principal in Victoria’s Supreme Court in Melbourne and was awarded $1.27 million by the court last year, the Australian reported.
Michelle Obama Unveiled Her Official Portrait ! OUCH!!!!
This looks like something my own 7 year old grandchild would bring in from Arts and Crafts!
Took me a while to find Michelle in the art work ..
An official portrait of former first lady Michelle Obama was unveiled at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery Monday morning.
The painting was done by Baltimore artist Amy Sherald, who is known for her social justice painting style.
“Let’s just start by saying, ‘Wow,’ again. Let me just take a minute. It’s amazing. Wow,” Obama said after the portrait was unveiled. The moment was met with gasps.
All presidents and first ladies have their portraits done and hung in the Portrait Gallery.

Hillary played the Dirtiest Trick ever played in presidential history
by Michael Goodwin
For law enforcement, Congress and even journalists, exposing misdeeds is like peeling an onion. Each layer you remove gets you closer to the truth.
So it is with the scandalous behavior of the FBI during its probe into whether President Trump’s campaign conspired with Russia in 2016. One layer at a time, we’re learning how flawed and dirty that probe was.
A top layer involves the texts between FBI lawyer Lisa Page and her married lover, Peter Strzok, the lead agent on the Hillary Clinton e-mail probe. They casually mention an “insurance policy” in the event Trump won the election and a plan for Strzok to go easy on Clinton because she probably would be their next boss.
Those exchanges, seen in the light of subsequent events, lead to a reasonable conclusion that the fix was in among then-Director James Comey’s team to hurt Trump and help Clinton.
Another layer involves the declassified House memo, which indicates the FBI and Justice Department depended heavily on the unverified Russian dossier about Trump to get a warrant to spy on Carter Page, an American citizen and briefly a Trump adviser.
The House memo also reveals that Comey and others withheld from the secret surveillance court key partisan facts that would have cast doubt on the dossier. Officials never revealed to the judges that the document was paid for by Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee or that Christopher Steele, the former British spy who compiled the dossier, said he was “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected.”
A third layer of the onion involves the revelations in the letter GOP Sens. Charles Grassley and Lindsey Graham wrote to the Justice Department. They urge a criminal investigation into whether Steele lied to the FBI about how much and when he fed the dossier to the anti-Trump media.
The letter is compelling in showing that Steele said one thing under oath to a British court and something different to the FBI. The contradictions matter because the agency relied on Steele’s credibility in both the FISA applications and its actual investigation. Strangely, even after it fired him for breaking its rule forbidding media contact, the FBI continued to praise his credibility in court.
If that were all the senators’ letter accomplished, it would be enough. But it does much more.
It also reveals that two former journalists linked to Clinton, separately identified as the odious Sidney Blumenthal and a man named Cody Shearer, created and gave a State Department official additional unverified allegations against Trump.
The official passed those documents to Steele, who passed them to the FBI, which reportedly saw them as further evidence that Trump worked with Russians. But as Grassley, head of the Judiciary Committee, and Graham write, “It is troubling enough that the Clinton Campaign funded Mr. Steele’s work, but that these Clinton associates were contemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele allegations raises additional concerns about his credibility.”
The State Department official involved in the episode, Jonathan Winer, wrote an Op-Ed in the Washington Post Friday in which he confessed to the senators’ chronology while offering a benign description of his motives. Winer also admitted he shared all the unverified allegations from the Clinton hitmen with other State Department officials.
There are many more layers of the onion to peel, but here’s where we are now: It increasingly appears that the Clinton machine was the secret, original source of virtually all the allegations about Trump and Russia that led to the FBI investigation.
In addition, the campaign and its associates, including Steele, were behind the explosion of anonymously sourced media reports during the fall of 2016 about that investigation.
Thus, the Democratic nominee paid for and created allegations against her Republican opponent, gave them to law enforcement, then tipped friendly media to the investigation. And it is almost certain FBI agents supporting Clinton were among the anonymous sources.
In fact, the Clinton connections are so fundamental that there probably would not have been an FBI investigation without her involvement.
That makes hers a brazen work of political genius — and perhaps the dirtiest dirty trick ever played in presidential history. Following her manipulation of the party operation to thwart Bernie Sanders in the primary, Clinton is revealed as relentlessly ruthless in her quest to be president.
The only thing that went wrong is that she lost the election. And based on what we know now, her claims about Trump were false.
Of the charges against four men brought by special counsel Robert Mueller, none involves helping Russia interfere with the election.
And neither the FBI nor Mueller has vouched for the truthfulness of the Blumenthal and Shearer claims or the Steele dossier. Instead, the dossier faces defamation lawsuits in the US and England from several people named in it.
In fairness, one person besides Steele has been cited as justification for the FBI probe. George Papadopoulos, a bit but ambitious player in the Trump orbit, met with a professor in Europe early in 2016 who told him the Kremlin had Clinton’s private e-mails.
In May 2016, Papadopoulos told the story to an Australian diplomat and two months later, in July, the Australian government alerted the FBI.
However, a full timeline convincingly points to Steele as the initial spark. He was hired by a Clinton contractor in June of 2016, and filed his first allegations against Trump on June 20. Two weeks later, on July 5, he met with an FBI agent in London, The Washington Post reported, and filed three more allegations that month, including one about Carter Page.
At any rate, it is certain that Steele and other Clinton operators provided all the allegations about Trump himself that the FBI started with and that Mueller inherited.
For Clinton, creating a cloud over Trump’s presidency and helping to put the nation through continuing turmoil is a victory of sorts. America is fortunate it’s her only victory.

Hillary Now Sounding Nuts Claiming Climate Change Is Sexist???
Hillary Clinton tried ad libbing an answer to a Climate Change question and sounded like a nut.
First she sounded the alarm about the middle east and North Africa becoming very hot and dry. They have always been that way - they're deserts.
Then she tried to claim climate change would hurt women much more than men.
By the time she was done the audience was more confused and alarmed about Hillary than Climate Change:
Satmar Bio Printed Pictures of females! Oy Vey!!!!
This Bio of the Satmar Rebbe, R' Yoel Teitelbaum, was printed in 1980 by Yoisef Sheinberger
This book is no longer in print .... (I wonder why?)but if you peruse this book, you can see pictures of women all over, and even the photo of the Rebbe's levayeh has a picture with women.
The above photo in the the Satmar Book depicts the three daughters of R' Moishe Eisen, murdered by Arabs.
The above photo of the same book depicts R' Elyeh Frisch, his wife and children
The above picture is the Satmar Rebbe at the Kotel when it was controlled by Arabs, probably in 1947. After 1948, the Arabs prohibited Jews from davening at the Kotel
After the Israelis captured the Kotel, in 1967, the Satmar Rebbe prohibited his chassidim from visiting the kotel,,,'
It was ok when Arabs controlled it, but its not ok when Jews are in control!
