Brooklyn Uber Passenger Beaten and Killed During Robbery in Coney Island

Question: Was the Driver in on it?

A 53-year-old Brooklyn man, Michael Shelonchik, tragically died following a violent robbery aboard an Uber ride on Tuesday evening. The attack occurred around 6:15 p.m. at W. 5th St. and Neptune Ave. in Coney Island. Shelonchik was sitting in the back seat of the vehicle when two men opened the door, beat him, and stole his chain. After the robbery, the driver sped off, but when they reached E. 3rd St. and Avenue Y in Gravesend, about a mile away, the driver realized that Shelonchik had become unconscious.

The driver immediately called for help, and medics rushed Shelonchik to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet apprehended the suspects, who are being sought in connection with the robbery and assault.

Police have classified the case as a homicide, pending an autopsy from the city Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause of death. Shelonchik, a resident of Bergen Beach, was reportedly attacked during an ordinary Uber ride, but the tragic turn of events has left the community in shock. Investigators are continuing to probe the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Where are the Mass Anti-trump Protests ??

In the wake of The Donald’s Second Coming, an ideological movement has arisen with the resilience and momentum to endure well past the point its founder steps away.

Future strategists will marvel at how Democratic zealotry on energy, immigration, and trans rights drove swathes of their base into the hands of their opponents. That is why we have seen hardly any protest marches or conspiratorial media narratives in response to Trump’s second victory.

Progressives have, it seems, conceded that many positions they once deemed beyond the pale now resonate with mainstream voters to a striking degree. An astonishing 67 per cent of 18-29 year-olds now express optimism about Trump’s second term. While that does not equate to political support, the shift in mood among older Zoomers does reflect an anticipation of improved economic conditions and employment opportunities.

Just as importantly, elite young Americans appear to be increasingly drawn to the countercultural cachet of a movement that once existed well beyond the boundaries of social respectability. MAGA has spent the last eight years developing its own institutions, policy shops, and media platforms. Most distinctively, it has spawned a labyrinthine universe of memes, symbols, phrases, talking points, and cultural touchstones that energize digital natives as much as they baffle Beltway normies.

As a movement, MAGA has embedded itself on the American political landscape by forging an infrastructure and intellectual framework that gives concrete expression to its founder’s uncanny instinct for securing the national interest. This development has implications that extend far beyond America’s shores.

In Britain, observers are taking note of the strength of MAGA’s institutional infrastructure. The newly rebranded Prosperity Institute exemplifies a growing recognition that Right-wing movements need to emulate the successes of their transatlantic counterparts such as The Heritage Foundation and American Moment.

Looking ahead, the challenge for Republicans will be to manage the transition from a personality-driven movement to a dominant political force. That is a challenge that it looks ready to meet after Trump’s own transition from chaotic CEO in 2016 to a more emollient chairman figure, who seems willing to entrust a degree of power and responsibility to Cabinet appointees that would have been unthinkable in previous administrations.

Democrats must now reflect upon how they misjudged the political moment so disastrously. And for us loyal colonials on the edge of the American imperium, MAGA offers a blueprint for how populist concerns could be minted into prosperity for all. Britain’s sclerotic establishment can no longer dismiss the New Right as a passing phase. Trumpism is here to stay.

123,715 Holocaust survivors remain in Israel

 A Fading Generation:

Time to Replace senior IDF command who have PRE-Oct 7 Mentality

Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz on Tuesday evening to reinstate several senior officers who were previously dismissed from the IDF.

"I call on the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense to return Maj. Gen. Yaniv Asor, Col. Nochi Mendel, and Brig. Gen. Ofer Winter to active service."

He explained: "They are brilliant and experienced officers, who were dismissed from the IDF not because they failed, but because they dared to think differently and not be held captive to the dangerous misconceptions that led us to the October 7 disaster."

According to Karhi, the current security situation requires a change of direction and a new military leadership: "The IDF needs courageous, offensive and creative leadership now more than ever – no more processes that sanctify the mistakes of the past. The IDF is the spearhead of our national security, not a playground of internal interests or cheap politics."

Yaniv Asur served as head of the IDF Personnel Department, until his retirement last November. Prior to that, he served, among other positions, as head of the Operations Brigade in the Armed Forces, Commander of the Bashan Division, Commander of the Golani Brigade, Commander of the Hiram Brigade and Commander of the Egoz Unit. As stated, last November, he ended his position in the IDF.

Nochi Mendel serves as the head of the Settlement and National Infrastructure Unit in the Ministry of Defense and served in his last position in regular service in the IDF as Deputy Commander of the Gaza Division.

In the Sword of Iron War, Mendel served as the Administrative Commander of the Nahal Brigade, and on October 7th participated in the battle at Kibbutz Kerem Shalom in the Gaza Envelope, blocking the progression of the Hamas terrorists. Last April, he was dismissed from his position by the Chief of Staff following the killing of workers at the World Central Kitchen in Gaza.

Ofer Winter has also served as commander of the 98th "Ha-Esh" Paratroopers Division, military secretary to the Minister of Defense, commander of the Givati Brigade, commander of the Northern Brigade in the Gaza Strip, and more.

On the morning of October 7th, Winter joined the fighters on the frontlines in the area of Kibbutz Be'eri, on his own initiative and participated in the battle there. In May, another round of appointments was held in the IDF, and after Winter was not promoted, then-Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and the Chief of Staff agreed that he would end his service in the IDF.

Trump executive orders smash leftist pieties that kept America paralyzed

Donald Trump’s first day in office will be remembered as the moment when reality crashed into the leftist pieties that kept America frozen, suffering and hemmed-in during the Biden years.

Let’s start with the central issue of the election: the border.

Trump swung for the fences with big-time executive orders to end Joe’s willed chaos there — starting with the declaration of a national emergency.

Add to that his moves to reinstate the “Remain in Mexico” policy, delete President Joe Biden’s insane border-jumping app CBP One, restart border-wall construction, designate cartels and gangs like Tren de Aragua as terrorist groups and militarize border enforcement.

To those we say: Bravo, Mr. President.

And while his plan to end birthright citizenship for the kids of illegal immigrants is definitely controversial (the 14th Amendment says anyone born in America is a citizen, and 18 state attorneys general have already sued over the move) the message could not be clearer.

The border is closed — and the president means business.

Those moves are sure to roll back the waves of migrants lured to the border by Biden’s invitación.

Trump also went to war with identity politics.

Multiple People Stabbed, Terrorist Shot Dead; Was Carrying US Green Card was from Brooklyn NY ..Killed by a Lady

The terrorist behind the Tel Aviv stabbing attack: Kadi Abd al-Aziz, 29, originally from Zagora, Morocco  lived in Brooklyn New York

He arrived on a connecting flight from Poland. Single, no family, no friends, and no hotel address. All suspicious signs. He was transferred for security questioning due to holding a U.S. Green Card. Security officials decided to allow his entry. A questionable handling.

The Lady that killed him... In Muslim culture being killed by a female is the ultimate humiliation!

A stabbing attack in Tel Aviv’s bustling Nachalat Binyamin area on Monday night has left four people injured. According to Magen David Adom (MDA), the incident occurred at approximately 9:12 PM, with stabbings reported at two locations: Rechov Nachalat Binyamin and Rechov Kalisher.

The victims include two men aged 24 and 28 in moderate condition, and two men aged 24 and 59 in good condition, MDA says.

The suspected terrorist was neutralized by a bystander—a woman who used a gun to stop the attacker. Authorities have praised her decisive actions, which likely prevented further casualties.

The attacker behind this evening’s stabbing in Tel Aviv has been identified as Abdelaziz Kaddi, 29, a Moroccan national who held a U.S. green card. According to an ID found on his body, he entered Israel on January 18 – THREE DAYS AGO – using a tourist visa.

Interior Minister Moshe Arbel revealed that border control officers at Ben Gurion Airport initially refused entry to the terrorist but were overruled by security officials.

According to Arbel, border officers identified the individual and handed him over to security officials for further questioning. “Unfortunately, they decided to allow his entry into Israel,” Arbel said.

The minister has urged Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar to launch an investigation into the incident, and said security services would “draw lessons from it as soon as possible” to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Rav Mordechai Gifter Zt”l On Eretz Yisroel And Its Role In Global Destiny " The world will continue to be turbulent as long as Eretz Yisroel is threatened"

Hashem said through the Prophet Isaiah (62:1): “For the sake of Zion I will not hold My peace and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be still.” The Targum’s interpretation of this verse casts a brilliant light on the current world situation: Hashem pledges that until Zion and Jerusalem are peaceful and secure, He will allow no rest to the nations of the earth. The situation of the Jewish people cannot be viewed in a vacuum, separate and apart from the world order.

We are in the habit of scanning the long list of international crises and feeling that the situation of our beleaguered brothers in Eretz Yisroel would matter precious little to anyone except fellow Jews, were it not for the ever-present danger of a superpower confrontation. Energy crises, floundering Great Britain, Watergate and its threat to the American political system, French recalcitrance in Europe, Russo Chinese hostility, the sanguinary “cease-fire” in Vietnam, and the list goes on and on. People who see things in “perspective” are well aware that in terms of “the big picture” a few pieces of real estate in Sinai and Golan are of little significance on the larger landscape. So on the one hand; we are grateful that the physical survival of three million Jews in Israel is interwoven in the fabric of American-Russian relations; hence, it is important enough to demand the notice of the White House and the Kremlin. But on the other hand, we tremble in anticipation of possible Jewish sacrifices upon the altar of detente and increased petroleum production.

Harvard Settles Antisemitism Lawsuits With Sweeping Policy Changes, Angering Palestinian Activists

Harvard University has reached settlements in two lawsuits accusing the institution of fostering antisemitism on campus. The lawsuits, filed by the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, Jewish Americans for Fairness in Education, and Students Against Antisemitism, alleged a hostile educational environment for Jewish students.

As part of the settlements, Harvard agreed to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. The university will also update its bullying policies with examples illustrating how Zionism is a central aspect of many Jewish identities.

The updated policies explicitly state that conduct targeting Jewish or Israeli individuals, including Zionists, could violate Harvard’s non-discrimination rules. Examples include excluding Zionists from events, disseminating stereotypes about Zionists, or pressuring individuals perceived as Jewish or Israeli to declare their stance on Zionism.

The settlement also includes plans to partner with a university in Israel, provide expert training for staff on antisemitism, and annually reaffirm its commitment to combating antisemitism.

“Today’s settlement reflects Harvard’s enduring commitment to ensuring our Jewish students, faculty, and staff are embraced, respected, and supported,” the university said in a statement.

Marc Kasowitz, representing Students Against Antisemitism, praised the resolution. “This agreement demonstrates meaningful actions to combat antisemitism, hate, and bias on college campuses,” he said, encouraging other institutions to follow Harvard’s example.

The settlements have drawn criticism from pro-Palestinian activists, who view the measures as controversial.

Coinciding with Harvard’s announcement, a bipartisan Senate bill was reintroduced to simplify filing civil rights complaints against universities over discrimination tied to heritage.

ReMarrying Your Ex-Wife: Is it a Mitzvah? Rabbi Yair Hoffman vs “emailing baTorah”

 By Rabbi Yair Hoffman

What do Larry King, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Pryor, and Eminem, all have in common?  You guessed it.  They all re-married their ex-spouse.

The question is, however, is there actually a bone-fide Mitzvah in doing so?

A recent and very prestigious email list entitled “emailing baTorah” ( a play on “Amailim baTorah – even its very name is brilliant) recently sent out a post that although most people think that it is a Mitzvah – it is not.

Respectfully, this author disagrees with the categorical statement that it is not a Mitzvah – but rather it should  be considered a Machlokes – a debate in halacha.

Eliot Resnick former Chief Editor of the Jewish Press Pardoned by Trump!

Eliot Resnick,  a podcast host, has been released from prison, after being pardoned by President Trump.

According to Newsweek, Resnick, an orthodox Jew and former Chief Editor of the Jewish Press, was one of many Jan 6 prisoners who was granted a full pardon. He had been convicted of obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disorder. He was sentenced to four months in prison, four months of home detention, 24 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $10,539 in fines and restitution.

He was in the process of serving his four month prison sentence, which began on Election Day. Presumably the other penalties have been completely lifted, thanks to Trump’s swapping pardon.

Just after his conviction, Resnick posted the following on X:

“For now, I have just two comments: 1) The January 6 protesters are heroes. 2) The left knows no rules, it respects no boundaries,” he said, promising more comment later. “It will do whatever it takes to win and advance its agenda. If the right doesn’t wake up and start matching the left’s ferocity, zealotry, and deviousness, this country will go down the drain,” he said.

The Department of Justice in a statement after the sentencing said Resnick had waved rioters into the Capitol, pulled rioters into the Capitol past police officers seeking to stop them, and held the arm of an officer who was attempting to spray irritant at the rioters.

Stefanik: Israel Has Biblical Right to Judea, Samaria

Israel-related issues dominated the Senate confirmation hearing of Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) on Tuesday to become the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Nearly every senator on the Foreign Relations Committee probed her views on the Jewish state and the region.

The congresswoman vowed to use her seat in Turtle Bay to combat antisemitism just as she had done in Congress.

“If you look at the antisemitic rot within the United Nations, there are more resolutions targeting Israel than any other country, any other crisis, combined,” Stefanik said. “We need to be a voice of moral clarity on the U.N. Security Council and at the United Nations at large for the world to hear the importance of standing with Israel and I intend to do that.”

Stefanik said that she would like to emulate Daniel Patrick Moynihan, who as U.S. ambassador to the global body in 1975 spoke out forcefully against a General Assembly resolution that determined that “Zionism is a form of racism.”

That resolution passed with the support of Muslim and Soviet-aligned countries but was later revoked in 1991. It is to date the only G.A. resolution ever to be withdrawn.

Stefanik’s nomination was greeted warmly by Republicans but met with greater skepticism from Democrats, who questioned her about what the “America First” agenda would mean for engagement with multilateral institutions during U.S. President Donald Trump’s second term.

Riots in Beit Shemesh during attempted arrest of Suspected Pedophile!

Fourteen suspects were arrested overnight in the city of Beit Shemesh during a violent riot that began during police activity to arrest a suspect for committing indecent acts on 9-year-old and 4-year-old children.

Four police officers and a medical responder were injured by the rioters and property damage was caused. During the day, the police will request to extend the detention of the suspects involved.

The incident took place shortly after 1:00 A.M. Detectives from the Jerusalem District arrested a 20-year-old suspect on suspicions of sexual abuse of minors. Immediately thereafter, a riot erupted in which dozens of violent rioters tried to prevent the arrest.

Consequently, a large number of police forces from the Jerusalem District were summoned to the scene in order to restore order and complete the arrest of the suspect while transferring him to the police station for further investigation.

During the riot, stones and other objects were hurled at the police. A stone was thrown at a medical vehicle summoned to treat a policeman injured by the rioters, shattering the vehicle's windshield and apparently causing the driver to be sprayed with pepper spray. In addition, four police officers were injured as a result of the thrown objects, stone-throwing, and other violent acts, among them a police officer who was struck by a stone in the head. Damage was also caused to several police vehicles.

The rioters did not obey orders to disperse and ispersal orders and blocked the path of a police vehicle in which a detainee was being held as they tried to convince the police to release him in exchange for calming the situation down. The police employed crowd control munitions l and arrested another suspect (39 from Beit Shemesh) for assaulting police officers and disturbing the peace.

After a great deal of effort, order was restored and two detainees were transferred to the police station in the city for further investigation. During the day, as mentioned, these suspects will be brought before the court in demand to extend their detention for the purpose of exhausting the investigation in their case.

"The Israel Police will act with determination and without prejudice in all matters pertaining to the exhaustive investigation of criminal offenses and in offenses of sexual abuse of minors in particular, and against those who violate order and lawbreakers who endanger the security of the public and the police officers in general," the police stated.

Trump’s Day One Executive Orders: Strengthening Support for Israel and Jews, Cracking Down on Antisemitism

On his first day back in office, President Donald Trump signed a series of groundbreaking executive orders prioritizing U.S. support for Israel and addressing issues concerning Jews and national security:

1. Revocation of Sanctions on Israeli Settlers: Trump repealed Executive Order 14115, lifting sanctions on Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria (the “West Bank”), reinforcing U.S. backing of Israel’s sovereignty.

2. Restoration of ICC Sanctions: Sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC), removed under President Biden, were reinstated to combat perceived anti-Israel bias.

3. Foreign Aid Suspension: A 90-day halt on U.S. foreign aid programs, such as those benefiting UNRWA, accused of ties to Hamas, to reassess their alignment with administration policies.

4. Deportation of Extremism Supporters: Trump authorized the removal of visa holders engaged in pro-Hamas protests, riots, or fundraising on U.S. campuses or those who support hateful ideologies.

5. Expanded Arms Support to Israel: Restrictions on advanced weapons sales, including 2,000-pound bombs, were lifted to strengthen Israel’s defense capabilities.

These measures reflect Trump’s firm commitment to Israel, the Jewish community, and addressing global and domestic extremism.

A Wave of Trump-Demanded Departures Hits Senior Leadership at the Antisemetic State Department

A large number of senior career diplomats who served in politically appointed leadership positions at the State Department have left their posts at the demand of the incoming Trump administration, which plans to install its own people in those positions, according to current and outgoing U.S. officials.

Personnel changes in the senior ranks of the department, like those at all federal agencies, are not uncommon after a presidential election, and career officials serving in those roles are required, just as non-career political appointees, to submit letters of resignation before an incoming administration takes office.

In the past, some of those resignations have not been accepted, allowing career officials to remain in their posts at least temporarily until the new president can nominate his team. That offers some degree of continuity in the day-to-day running of the bureaucracy.

One senior career diplomat who will be staying, Lisa Kenna, a former ambassador to Peru who served in senior positions under Presidents Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, was appointed acting secretary of state shortly after Monday’s inauguration, officials said.

TRUMP TO IMMEDIATELY HALT FUNDING TO UNRWA

President Donald Trump is expected to sign an executive order halting U.S. foreign assistance immediately upon assuming office for a second term, with UNRWA reportedly at the top of the list.

UNRWA, the United Nations agency responsible for distributing aid in Gaza, has faced repeated accusations of ties to Hamas. The UN recently admitted that nine of its staff may have been involved in the October 7 attack on Israel.

“The United States and American citizens have been some of the most generous people in the entire world,” an incoming White House policy adviser stated. “But at this point, we have to understand that foreign policy is domestic policy, and if this is not aligned with our interests, then Uncle Sam should not be opening up his pocketbook any longer.”

The executive order is one of several expected to be signed by Trump during his first week back in office. Other anticipated directives include:
• Removing insubordinate government employees.
• Reversing Joe Biden’s green energy projects.
• Keeping TikTok operational.
• Declaring a state of emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border.
• Ending “catch and release” immigration policies.
• Designating Mexican drug cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations.”

Trump’s administration has signaled an aggressive approach to fulfilling campaign promises and reshaping U.S. foreign and domestic priorities.

Trump, who has long downplayed the event and referred to the defendants as “political prisoners” and “hostages,” described the move as fulfilling a major campaign promise.

Biden Pardons His Entire Crooked Family!

Listen below to what DemonRats said about pardoning family members during Trump's First term when there was speculation that he might just do that.... he didn't

Biden Issues Last-Minute Pardons for Fauci, Milley, and J6 Committee Members, Including Liz Cheney & Adam Schiff

In his final hours as president, Joe Biden issued preemptive pardons to several individuals, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, retired General Mark Milley, and members of the House committee that investigated the January 6 Capitol attack, such as Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff.

Biden emphasized that these pardons are not indications of guilt but are meant to protect these public servants from potential politically motivated prosecutions by the incoming administration.

Proof Biden was never in charge, utterly selfish and America's worst President ever! A legacy of total failure

After the longest of goodbyes, the worst president in modern American history is finally, thankfully, gone.

It's been equal parts enraging and entertaining to watch Joe Biden take what he clearly feels is a well-earned victory lap: A slurry farewell address from the Oval Office, followed by a fawning exit interview in which he insisted, again and deludedly, that if he had stayed in the race he would have won.

As Biden himself would say: No joke!

And so begins the political obituary for a presidency like no other — a president who was never really there, who held office in name only, who was but a puppet for a shadowy Democrat cabal (Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, cough-cough) that installed him and ran the country into the ground.

Not that Joe or Bad Doctor Jill would ever admit as much. But that's par for the course with a family that put ill-gotten gains and an unslakable thirst for power ahead of what is good and right. Ahead of the country's best interests.

'You answered all the questions, Joe!'

That was Jill Biden to her enfeebled dotard of a husband, who had just walked off that infamous debate stage back in June. A truly loving wife would surely have shuffled him home, held his hand and told him it was time to go.

Not Lady MacBiden. No: Her husband may have just humiliated himself and the country — not to mention showing our enemies that the leader of the free world was asleep at the wheel — but she figured she could write that off as 'just a bad night'.

That's how stupid the Democrat establishment thought the electorate was.
