Israel’s Biggest Enemy is the Judicial System : The Thanks Bibi gets for Disabling Iran, Terrorist Groups

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deserves an award for successfully leading the war against Iran’s “Axis of Resistance” in the Middle East. He has not earned the title “The Churchill of the Middle East” for nothing.

Since the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel, during which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and thousands injured, Israel has destroyed most of the terror group’s military capabilities in the Gaza Strip and eliminated its top political and military leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar.

In Lebanon, Israel has also dealt a severe blow to the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group, which unleashed a wave of rocket and drone attacks on communities in northern Israel starting the day after the October 7 atrocities. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) — in defiance of threats from the Biden administration to withhold badly needed military supplies if Israel tried to neutralize threats against it (such as herehereherehere and here) — succeeded in eliminating most of Hezbollah’s political and military leaders, including the group’s secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah.

Similarly, Israel launched two successful air strikes against Iran over the past few months. The attacks came after Iran had fired hundreds of missiles and attack drones at Israel.

Israel also carried out similar air strikes against Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Yemen.

Agudah Thanksgiving Convention's BIG Elephant in the Room!

I am first going to copy and paste parts of an article written by the Rationalist Judaism Blog!

"In the Agudah convention last week, Rabbi Uri Deutsch addresses the topic of how Torah Jews in America should feel at this stage in the war. He says that they should not feel too upset, and they should follow the example of charedim in Israel, for whom life is essentially back to normal (I would personally like to point out that for charedim in Israel, the war never really changed their lives to begin with). At minute 45 - I had to listen to it twice to ensure my ears weren’t deceiving me - Rabbi Deutsch says that the Gedolim have told us that the most acute gezerah that the residents of Israel are facing is the need to raise money for the yeshivos and struggle against the draft.

Of course the idea that life is essentially back to normal would come as a surprise to members of my shul, who just went to the funeral and shiva of a young man from our shul who lost his life defending Israel. It would also come as a surprise to the hundreds of thousands of people in Israel for whom the last few months have been anything but normal, with family members being away from their jobs and family lives and risking life and limb in Gaza and Lebanon. And the notion that the gravest problem is the financial cutbacks for charedim, and the threat that they might have to help reduce the burden on reservists, would strike everyone outside of the charedi community as, frankly, evil.

Rabbi Yisroel Reisman, who was sitting in the same panel, was clearly uncomfortable with what Rabbi Deutsch said. He responds that “without contradicting anything Rav Deutsch said” he feels that it’s important on a personal level for people to feel more of the pain that thousands of families in Israel are undergoing, and not just to mumble Tehillim at the end of davening, but to perhaps take on some sort of personal kabbalah (spiritual effort)."

DIN: I live in Beit Shemesh and in the last two weeks I went to the shivah of three different families who live a block away from me whose sons were murdered in the war! Not that it makes any difference, but these families are all Shoimrei Torah Umitzvois!

For a Rabbi in the USA talking at a Thanksgiving Dinner surrounded by "Yes" men in a luxurious hotel, having eaten from the finest foods and lecturing our Children in Uniform who are at war, who go without sleep for days and whose food rations consist of tuna from a can, is the ultimate chutzpah, and shows the total disconnect that Chareide Leaders have to the rest of Klall Yisrael, and I'm taking about the Klall Yisrael that are frum!

There are Husbands at war who had babies that they haven't seen yet! There are husbands who just got married and had to leave to the front during Sheva Brachos!

It is mind-boggling to listen to these lectures from sanctimonious Rabbanim and askanim whose entire agenda at this fress-weekend was to attack the Israeli Government!

To say that the "most acute gezerah that the residents of Israel are facing is the need to raise money for the yeshivos and struggle against the draft" is insane and sick! Very sick!

Which brings me to the topic that the Agudah Convention totally avoided and was the BIG Elephant in the room! A topic that the askanim of the Agudah are very well aware of!

I have posted on this blog about the thousands of teenagers from Boro-Park, Monsey, Flatbush, Williamsburg Monroe and New Square that are going off the derech faster than you can say the word "Israeli Draft" !

These teenagers have no connection to Israel and will all probably marry shiksas and disappear from Judaism in one generation! There is nothing stopping this trend and the few organizations that are trying to do something are left disappointed and frustrated!  It's over!

Did the Convention address this???? Not one word!

They were busy talking about Yeshiva Boys in Israel, living 6,000 miles away that if they chose to G-D Forbid, enlist, would go off the derech!  But the chances of them marrying another Jew are close to 95%! And they can choose to join the Charedie Brigade that keeps to all Halachos!

But that was not the "elephant in the room" that I was referring to!

I am referring to a recent trend of Yeshivisha Married Men or Women who believe in nothing!

They dress the part, with the tzizis out of the pants , their wives cover their hair, their children are all in Yeshivois and they don't believe in Torah Me'Sinai!!

These are not "yechidim" but unfortunately numbers in the hundreds. They live primarily in Lakewood and Monsey and communicate with each other by Wattsapp!

I have been shown thousands of these communications, thousands!!!!

One of them claims to be a Rav in a kehillah, and who says that he doesn't know how much longer he can keep up with this charade!

Some of them say that their wives don't know but are starting to get the feeling" that something is off"

Some wives on this chat claim that they stopped going to the mikvah and are faking their entire spiritual existence, but want to keep it together because "they have too much to lose"

This is a pandemic that is going to balloon faster than Covid!

I know for a fact that the Agudah Askanim know about this! But decided to shove this issue under the rug and talk about the Israeli Draft instead!

Not only do the Askanim know about this but so do at least 22 Rabbanim that sat on dais listening to a bunch of dribble and nonsense!

We are losing respect for our leaders fast....very fast!

Archaeologists find sword Linked to the Pharaoh that dealt with Moshe Rabbeinu..

Archaeologists in Egypt have discovered a 3,200-year-old military barrack at Tell Al-Abqain, where they unearthed a bronze sword inscribed with the name of Pharaoh Ramses II, as reported by Fox News. The sword, found in a small room of the barrack, is believed to have belonged to a high-ranking military officer, illustrating Ramses II's military dominance, according to The Sun.

"The mission discovered a long bronze sword decorated with engravings of the cartouche of King Ramses II," the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced, as reported by RBC. The bronze sword features engravings of the Egyptian king's name and titles, indicating status and prestige, and was meant for battle, according to Ahmed El Kharadli, as noted by The Sun.

Another significant find is a limestone block with a hieroglyphic inscription of the titles of Ramses II, according to RBC.

Archaeologists also found artifacts, including jewelry, scarabs, amulets, cooking pots, and buried cow bones, emphasizing spiritual beliefs and the strategic role of military facilities, as reported by CBS News. In ancient Egypt, cows were symbols of power and prosperity.

Egyptian military structures were strategically built along routes in the northwestern Nile Delta to bolster defense against threats from the Western Desert and Mediterranean Sea, helping soldiers confront groups coming into the Nile Delta. This area served as a key fortification against threats from Libyan tribes and the Sea Peoples during the reign of Ramses II.

Ramses II, ruling from 1279 to 1213 BCE, is recognized was one of the most powerful and successful pharaohs, leading armies of approximately 100,000 men. He was the third ruler of the 19th dynasty of Ancient Egypt. Scholars associate Ramses II with the Biblical Exodus story, linking him to the era of the Israelites' enslavement and exodus from Egypt.

During the reign of Ramses II, large-scale construction took place in Ancient Egypt, including the building of many temples in Abydos, Thebes, and Edfu.

Science, CNN, The Washington Post, and CBS reported on the findings, among other websites.

Ted Cruz Claims that it is ‘No Coincidence’ That US Carriers Avoid Israel Skies

For over 14 months, major American carriers have remained conspicuously absent from Israel’s skies despite a ceasefire with Hezbollah and military gains against Hamas. One U.S. lawmaker who will soon take up the position of chairman on the Senate’s Transportation Committee believes it’s intentional.

“The Biden-Harris administration was lax in pursuing why some airlines will not fly to Israel,” Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) tells Jewish Insider. “Indeed, they may have been worse than lax, and the State Department may have become inappropriately entangled in deliberations over safety and subverted the Federal Aviation Administration.”

“There have been allegations about antisemitic discrimination by airlines and that calls by unions not to fly to Israel were motivated solely by pro-Hamas activists,” he said. “These allegations are troubling, and, of course, American law prohibits American companies from participating in politically motivated boycotts of Israel,” noting that he “welcomes a full investigation of these issues.”

Operating without competition, El Al commands a staggering 71% of all passenger traffic through Ben Gurion airport on U.S. routes. Delta Airlines has teased an April 2025 return to Israeli skies, and negotiations are still ongoing with Israir and Arkia in leasing a few aircraft to provide North American service.

Obviously, a clear divide has emerged between airline unions’ safety assessments and Israeli aviation authorities.

“Flights to Israel are safe,” says Israel’s aviation chief Shmuel Zakai. “When we think that the airspace is not safe for flights, we close it. That earned us a lot of credit internationally.”

Meanwhile, several European carriers are gradually returning to Israeli airspace, with Aegean Airlines leading the way after resuming flights last week. Wizzair and LOT Polish Airways have also announced their return, with services scheduled to resume on December 22.

Candace Owens named ‘Antisemite of the Year’

Firebrand pundit Candace Owens has been named “Antisemite of the Year” by watchdog StopAntisemitism, which says she “blew the competition away” with more votes than anyone in previous years.

“Candace Owens’ witch’s brew of antisemitism drew from vile medieval blood libels, including claims that Jews drink Christian blood, conspiracies that Jews are pedophiles who control the media and are ‘taking over America,’ and modern toxic anti-Israel hysteria,” StopAntisemitism’s founder, Liora Rez, told The Post.

“There is no psychotic rabbit hole too extreme for this poisonous hater.”

StopAntisemitism bestowed the title last year on Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.). Other recipients have included Ye, the Hitler-loving rapper formerly known as Kanye West, in 2022, and Tlaib’s fellow “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) in 2019.

The watchdog shared a video of comments from Owens — who split from The Daily Wire over her views — including her defending Ye’s antisemitic tirades and also her attacking Israel, which she claimed had “occupied” the US, in the wake of the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre.

“Jew-hatred is a symptom of a decaying society just as it is a rotting mind,” Rez stated.

“This dishonor is awarded to the individual who has done the most to endanger the Jewish community, and in 2024, Candace Owens has tragically and decisively earned the title.

“Out of dozens of contenders, she blew the competition away with her relentless campaign of dangerous rhetoric targeting the Jewish community, earning more votes than any Antisemite of the Year we’ve ever named.”

The outspoken conservative pundit had previously scoffed at being in the running for the title.

“I feel like maybe [Israeli] prime minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu should’ve made the list because he’s killed more semites than anybody — did we forget Palestinians are semites,” she said on her show last month.

“The ratio under this post is incredible lol. Zionists are completely out of touch. Reminiscent of BLM in 2020 running around calling everything and everyone racist. From excruciatingly annoying, to mildly entertaining to utterly obsolete,” Owens posted on X in response to the announcement. “We are all fatigued with ‘antisemitism.’”

“Truly, I didn’t think anyone could top the petulance of Patrisse Cullors in 2020 but I have to hand it to the Zionist lobby this year,” she added. “BLM walked so you guys could run.”

“Obviously I will prepare an acceptance speech for my show tomorrow,” Owens later snarked in another X post. “So many people to thank.”

Owens had parted ways in March with the Daily Wire, a conservative outlet she began working for in 2021. She is widely believed to be under a gag order that precludes her from speaking specifically on the split.

However, her departure came amid public friction with its co-founder and star podcaster Ben Shapiro. In the wake of the Hamas surprise attack that killed some 1,200 Israelis, she was caught liking a post on X spouting a bizarre and centuries-old conspiracy theory about rabbis drinking the blood of Christians.

Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew and a staunch defender of Israel, had criticized Owens’ comments as “absolutely disgraceful.”

Rez said that “thankfully” Owens “has been disavowed by many of her former friends and allies.

“But she is a cautionary tale for our nation,” the watchdog’s founder said. “Just as Candace has deteriorated into insanity and irrelevance, so does every civilization where antisemitism flourishes.”

Following her departure from the Daily Wire, Owens has launched her own show, which she posts on YouTube and other platforms.

She’s also continued to draw scrutiny over her comments on Jewish people. Over the summer, she appeared to imply suggested that some of the heinous experiments conducted by Nazis during the Holocaust were merely “propaganda.”

“The Nazis experimented on innocent people,” Owens said over the summer. “Some of the stories, by the way, sound completely absurd. ”

“The idea that they just cut a human up and sewed them back together?” she further pondered at the time. “Why would you do that? Literally even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies [to] just slice a person in half and sew them back together. That just sounds like bizarre propaganda.”

Owens maintains that her remarks were taken out of context and denies that she’s downplayed the experiments by notorious Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele.

“They can’t produce [videos of] me discussing Mengele because it doesn’t exist,” Owens argued on her show in November. “If you’re speaking about someone so evil, why is a lie required?”

Obama’s lost mystique marks the end of a political era

Former President Barack Obama had long been rumored as the catalyst for the 2020 Joe Biden nomination — and thereafter played the whispering puppeteer behind the subsequent lost Biden administration years.

As such, he and his coterie proved the virtual architects of the Biden administration, one of the most unpopular and failed presidencies in American history.

Recall earlier that after a flailing candidate Biden lost the first three 2020 primaries and caucuses, his inert campaign was headed nowhere.

Obama and fellow Democratic insiders abruptly engineered the withdrawal of his rival 2020 presidential candidates: hard left but likely sure-loser candidates including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg.

The Obamas ignored or withheld from the public their own firsthand knowledge that Biden was suffering from signs of dementia.

Biden Releases Hamas Mastermind Khaled Mashaal's Brother From US Prison

The sudden release of Mofid Abdel Kader Mashaal, the brother of former Hamas political leader Khaled Mashaal, from a U.S. prison has raised hopes that it could signal progress toward a potential hostage deal.

Mashaal, who was serving a 20-year sentence for financing Hamas through the Holy Land Foundation, was reportedly released after serving 16 years. According to Israeli media, he will spend the next year in a rehabilitation facility. The U.S. has not confirmed his release, but the news has been widely reported in Arab media.

The release comes amid ongoing talks surrounding a possible hostage agreement, fueling speculation that the two developments could be connected. Arab media also reported the sentences of four other American-Palestinians associated with the Holy Land Foundation have been significantly shortened.

On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced a historic clemency act, commuting sentences for 1,500 people and pardoning 39.

Was Mashaal’s release related? Who knows

Sa’ar Orders Closure of Israel’s Embassy in Ireland the Country that Sided With Hitler

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar on Sunday ordered the Israeli embassy in Dublin shuttered amid Ireland’s hostile stance toward the Jewish state.

Also on Sunday, Sa’ar ordered the opening of an Israeli embassy in Moldova.

Ambassador to Ireland Dana Erlich was already recalled last May after Ireland became one of three European countries to recognize a Palestinian state.

The Irish government last week approved a proposal to intervene in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

On Oct. 29, Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris called on the European Union to “review its trade relations” with Israel, following what he described as a “shameful” vote by the Knesset on a law banning the activities in Israel of UNRWA, the United Nations aid agency for Palestinians.

Ireland has for years criticized Israel and its policies in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, but the rhetoric has escalated since Jerusalem responded to the Hamas-led massacre on Oct. 7, 2023, that triggered a multi-front war.

In announcing the decision, Sa’ar cited the “extreme anti-Israel policy of the Irish government.”

“The antisemitic actions and rhetoric that Ireland is taking against Israel are based on delegitimization and demonization of the Jewish state and on double standards,” Sa’ar said in a statement.

“Ireland has crossed all red lines in its relationship with Israel. Israel will invest its resources in promoting bilateral relations with the countries of the world according to priorities that are also derived from the attitude of the various countries towards it,” the statement continued.

Harris condemned the “deeply regrettable” move in a post on X, saying he rejects the assertion that Dublin is anti-Israel. “Ireland is pro-peace, pro-human rights and pro-international law,” he claimed.

Moldova already has an embassy in Israel and in explaining the rationale for reciprocating in Chișinău, Sa’ar said that “there are countries that are interested in strengthening their ties with Israel and do not yet have an Israeli embassy. We will adjust the Israeli diplomatic structure of our missions while giving weight, among other things, to the approach and actions of the various countries toward Israel in the political arena.”

Sa’ar informed Moldova’s Foreign Minister Mihail Popșoi of his decision to open the embassy, which is expected to happen in 2025. Sa’ar instructed the director general of his ministry to locate a suitable building for the embassy in Moldova and to initiate the process of appointing an ambassador there.

Trump Invites Satmar Rebbe of Monroe and Rav Shaul Alter of Ger to White House Post-Inauguration

Two prominent Charedi Rabbis have been invited to meet with President Trump at the White House, following the inauguration. The meeting will bring together Rabbi Shaul Alter, Rosh Yeshivah of Mosdos Pnei Menachem, who received a personal invitation from Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, a Chabad businessman in Miami, and the Satmar Rebbe.

Sources told Charedi news outlet Kikar HaShabbat, that the invitation comes as a gesture of appreciation for the leaders’ support during the recent campaign.

Prior to the election, the Satmar Rebbe met with Eric Trump at Trump Tower to discuss concerns about proposed educational regulations affecting yeshivas.

When Rabbi Alter was in Aveilus for his mother, Trump sent a personal letter of condolence through Kaplounn.

Justice Minister Declares War on High Court over Judicial Appointments Committee

Justice Minister Yariv Levin officially announced on Saturday night that he would advance at least one of the key items in his judicial reform: changing the committee’s composition to select judges.

According to Article 4 of Basic Law: The Judiciary, the committee is composed of nine members distributed as follows:

  • The Justice Minister who chairs the committee, and another minister who is chosen by the government.
  • Two MKs elected by the Knesset.
  • Two members of the Bar Association elected in a secret ballot by the National Council of the Bar.
  • The President of the Supreme Court.
  • Two additional Supreme Court judges, chosen according to seniority.

Appointing a Supreme Court justice requires the support of seven members of the committee. This means that the court judges and members of the bar have an automatic veto right as things stand today. That is why Justice Minister Levin has been reluctant to assemble the committee to decide the replacement of retired Court President Esther Hayut last year.
