Georgia CongressDreck Hank Johnson Who Called Jews "termites" Campaigns For DemocRAT Senate Candidates in Georgia

Two Democratic candidates for Senate seats in Georgia held a campaign event over the weekend with a congressman who sparked controversy for calling Israeli Jews “termites”.

On Saturday, Democratic Senate hopefuls Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock held a “drive-in” campaign event in Conyers, Georgia, according to a website used by the Georgia Democratic Party’s get out the vote operation.

Warnock and Ossoff were reportedly joined by Georgia Congressdreck Hank Johnson, who represents Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District, which includes Conyers.

In 2016, Johnson was accused of anti-Semitism, after he called Jews living in Judea and Samaria “termites”, and accused Israeli Jews of stealing Arab land.

“There has been a steady [stream], almost like termites can get into a residence and eat before you know that you’ve been eaten up and you fall in on yourself, there has been settlement activity that has marched forward with impunity and at an ever increasing rate to the point where it has become alarming,” Johnson said at an event for the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, an anti-Israel organization which tries to gather support for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

“You see one home after another being appropriated by Jewish people who come in to claim that land just because somebody did not spend the night there,” Johnson said,“The home their [Palestinian] ancestors lived in for generations becomes an Israeli home and a flag goes up,” he said, adding, “the Palestinians are barred from flying flags in their own neighborhoods.”

Johnson later apologized for what he called a “poor choice of words”, but doubled down on his criticism of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, which he said “undermine two-state solution.”

Top Soros Employee Will get Cabinet Position in Biden Administration

The president of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, Patrick Gaspard, will resign, opening the way for him to take a possible position in the Biden administration.

Gaspard, who has served on the Hungarian-born billionaire’s foundation for three years, announced Friday that he will step down at the end of the year, Open Society said.

“Fundamental social change doesn’t customarily occur in a revolutionary moment. Instead, what is needed is the partnership of activists, government, and the nonprofit sector, collaborating over time and space in unity and solidarity,” he said. “This is what I worked to do at Open Society. My commitment now will be to re-enter the world of politics and ideas, where I can continue the struggle against oppression everywhere.”

Soros, a left-wing megadonor, praised Gaspard as a “champion of all rights: whether for workers, for women, or for underserved groups.”

“His dedication to those challenging power is precisely why I invited Patrick to join Open Society,” he said. “I have great admiration for the way he led the Foundations in a world beset by illiberalism, and I applaud him.”

Biala Rebbe: Israeli Government Using COVID To Make You Forget Torah

Yes this is the same Biala Rebbe that goes to modern USA neighborhoods to schnoor for his "moisdois"

He loves Teaneck and the 5 Towns where he stays by shaven "geveerim" for shabbos and holds tisch to the naive modern orthodox shmeggegies...

He does take money from the "medina" but now it suits him to deride them ...

The Biala Rebbe slammed the Israeli government for their gezeiros shutting down schools and yeshivos, comparing their actions to those of the Yevonim in the times of the Chanukah nissim.

Speaking at the pidyon haben of his grandson, the Rebbe stressed the necessity of having a seder kavuah for learning gemarah, especially in these trying times.

In translated remarks, the Rebbe called out the government’s edicts. “We find ourselves just days before Chanukah, and just like the Yevonim, they (the Israeli government) have made laws to make you forget the Torah… They have no concern at all for [taking care of] the body, they care only for [destroying] the neshama. And like the Yevonim, their edicts apply more to batei knesios and batei medrashos than it does to their parties.”

The Rebbe noted with pride that his four and half chasidim have continued their learning despite the hardships imposed on them.

COVID-19 Relief Bill Won’t Offer $1,200 Checks

With time running out, lawmakers on Sunday closed in on a proposed COVID-19 relief bill that would provide roughly $300 in extra federal weekly unemployment benefits but not another round of $1,200 in direct payments to most Americans, leaving that issue for Joe Biden to wrestle over with a new Congress next year.

The $908 billion aid package to be released Monday would be attached to a larger year-end spending bill needed to avert a government shutdown this coming weekend.

The cash payments were popular when they were first distributed after the pandemic hit, and Biden on Friday had expressed hope that a second wave might come after weekend negotiations.

But senators involved in the talks said the checks won’t be included as part of the compromise, even as Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and others said that could cause them to oppose the measure.

Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois, the second-ranking Democrat, indicated that excluding the checks while assuring small-business aid and renters’ assistance was the only way to reach agreement with Republicans who are putting firm limits on the bill’s final price tag.

“The $1,200 check, it cost we believe nationally $300 billion to give you an idea,” he said. “The Democrats have always wanted a larger number, but we were told we couldn’t get anything through the Republicans, except this $900 billion level.”

The plan being worked on by a group of Republican and Democratic senators is less than half of the Democrats’ push of $2.2 trillion and nearly double the $500 billion “targeted” package proposed by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.

Both he and Durbin said that McConnell has shown interest in the bipartisan effort, and Cassidy said he was hopeful that President Donald Trump would embrace it as well.

The proposal is expected to include about $300 per week in bonus federal unemployment payments, providing relief just as emergency aid payments at regular benefit levels are set to expire at year’s end. It would extend a freeze on evictions for people who cannot pay their rent and reauthorize the Paycheck Protection Program to give a second round of subsidies to businesses struggling through the pandemic.

Still, potential sticking points remain.

Sanders and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said last week they wouldn’t support the $908 billion proposal if it did not include checks for families, and were joined by Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo. Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez are also against shielding businesses from lawsuits claiming negligence for COVID-19 outbreaks, a provision pushed by Republicans.

While favoring the $1,200 checks, Biden said the emerging compromise was “immediately needed” and that additional assistance could follow later.

On Sunday, lawmakers involved in the negotiations said the direct payments would have to wait until after Biden is inaugurated on Jan. 20. At that time, Biden will face a new Congress as vaccines are being distributed, with a narrowed Democratic majority in the House and a closely divided Senate potentially split 50-50 if Democrats are able to prevail in two runoff elections in Georgia on Jan. 5.

Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., said Sanders was not involved in the negotiations and “his characterization is just not accurate” about the potential liability protections for businesses. The direct payments, he said, will be a task for Biden.

“Every indication says more money is needed; we see that,” he said. “This gets us through basically the lifelines that people need and the small businesses that can survive and not go under.”

Manchin said Biden’s team, when in power, “can put together a different proposal that takes us further down the road for more recovery.”

Durbin spoke on ABC’s “This Week,” Cassidy appeared on “Fox News Sunday,” Warner was on CNN’s “State of the Union” and Manchin was interviewed on NBC’s “Meet the Press.

Joe Biden’s Dangerous Delusion on Renewing the Iran Nuclear Pact

by Michael Goodin

The assassination of Iran’s top nuclear scientist counts as a rare piece of good news from the mad mullahs’ gulag. It eliminates a key player in the bid to get nuclear weapons and creates a safer world.

The event is being celebrated by the Trump administration, which has been relentless in bringing Iran to its knees. Israel, which likely carried out the bold hit, is delighted by the demise of a man whose weapons threatened to wipe the Jewish state off the map. Also cheering are the Sunni Arab nations whose governments are targeted by Iran.

In short, the death of Moshen Fakhrizadeh is an unmitigated good thing to millions upon millions of innocent people. Yet to read The New York Times or listen to Joe Biden, the death is a bad thing because it complicates Biden’s plan to persuade Iran to rejoin the nuclear pact that President Trump wisely scuttled.

“Iran Pact’s Fate Dealt New Blow By Assassination,” read a mournful piece in the Times last Sunday.

“YOU AND YOUR PRAYER BOOK CAN GET OFF”: Frum Woman WEARING MASK Thrown Off Delta Flight For “Davening” In Her Seat

****DIN: We are getting Info from people on the plane stating that SHE WAS NOT compliant with Delta's rules.... waiting to hear from Delta ...

A Frum woman was thrown off a Delta flight on Wednesday for not being compliant with mask-wearing. But the passenger tells YWN that she was 100% compliant, and thinks she was the victim of blatant anti-Semitism.

The woman – who wishes to remain anonymous at this point – says her experience was as follows:

“I was on Delta Flight 5610 from Chicago O’Hare to JFK Airport on Wednesday. I had my siddur open and was praying. The flight attendant, Erica Green, angrily pushed my siddur down and told me to pull up my mask to comply with guidelines. My mask was up but she walked away without allowing me to show her. I brushed it off assuming she didn’t see me correctly.

She came back with another flight attendant and they both got extremely angry at me. I was scared because I was doing nothing wrong. They knocked my siddur and told me I wasn’t being compliant, even though the other passengers could see I was fully compliant, and just praying. They said if I wasn’t going to be compliant, to tell them now. Some Frum men tried to help but the flight attendant did not allow them to speak.

When she finally stopped yelling at me I said “thank you for telling me, what’s your name?”

She swung around and a minute later the pilot announced we were turning the plane around to drop off a passenger who was non compliant. A woman named Kim Ford came on to the plane and told me that I was being non compliant and that if I did not get off the plane and continued speaking I would have a lifetime ban from flying Delta and security would drag take me off the plane. She said other passengers do not feel safe and the pilot did not feel comfortable having me on board. I was calm but scared, so I asked to speak with the pilot. She said I can speak with them when I get off the plane. Two pilots met me and I tried to explain that I was fully compliant and have witnesses. The flight attendant Erica Green cut me off and did not allow me to speak. I was crying and upset and the pilots seemed confused. Kim Ford said that if I calm down and don’t speak she would rebook me to NY on a different flight, but if I “keep this up” I would have a lifetime ban from Delta and be escorted out of the terminal.

I was holding my siddur the entire time.

As Kim took me back up the plane ramp the flight attendant Erica Green said “you and prayer book can get off”.

Seattle social worker stabbed to death by her client as city pushes to replace police with social workers

“Horrifying” and “terrifying” are the words a prosecutor used to describe a deadly attack on a Seattle social worker.

Just before 11 a.m. on November 23, a public housing resident showed up at an apartment complex in the Belltown neighborhood of the city.

The Seattle Times reports that security footage shows the man walk into the building carrying grocery bags and then pull out a large knife. Carrying the weapon, he walked into the office of 42-year-old social worker Kristin Benson.

A co-worker soon heard Benson screaming and she ran to help.

Court documents say that the woman recognized her co-worker’s attacker.

She identified the man as 58-year-old Hans Dewey Van-Belkum, and told investigators that he was making “punching/stabbing” motions at the victim as she was face down on the floor.

The co-worker ran out of the office, later reporting that Van-Belkum chased her toward her office with knife in hand.

The crime has rocked the liberal city, where residents and city leaders adamantly pushed to defund the police just months ago.

Earlier this month, Law Enforcement Today reported on the fall out of that decision:

“Nearly 120 officers have left the police force since the end of September.  Most were patrol officers, and either retired or transferred to other agencies.

Seattle now maintains only 1,200 officers that are deployable for contingencies, the lowest number since 1990, when the city’s population was 516,000. Now the population has grown to 783,000, not to mention the explosion of the surrounding suburban areas increasing the number of citizens routinely inside the city limits.”

Now, with security footage showing the beginnings of the savage attack on a public servant, people are questioning that decision and their own safety in the Pacific Northwest city.

A woman who goes by “Laura T” on Twitter, posted:

“So, there was this social worker in Seattle. She tried to de-escalate a homeless person. He stabbed her and killed her. No police, no guns, trained social worker. Seattle mayor and council are proud of their changes, am sure @AOC is too. Kristin Benson mattered too.”

Biden raises concerns with resignation joke in joint interview with Kamala Harris

President-elect Joe Biden will be "taking the backseat" to his vice president, Kamala Harris, during his term, Fox Nation host Lawrence Jones said Friday.

“This is why he doesn’t do interviews because he is so incoherent; this is why they kept him in the basement for the majority of the campaign,” Jones told "Fox & Friends," reacting to a statement by Biden in which he appeared to joke about resigning.

Jones highlighted that Biden campaigned as a “moderate” and Harris campaigned as a “progressive," so policy disagreements are likely to arise.

“She disagrees with him on virtually every single issue,” Jones said.

Meanwhile, CNN anchors Jake Tapper and Don Lemon appeared giddy after Tapper wrapped up his exclusive interview with Biden and Harris, their first joint sit-down since the 2020 presidential election.

Toward the end of the prime-time special, Lemon provided some commentary of Tapper's sit-down, showering Biden with praise over what he described as a "normal" and "sane" interview.

"We heard no fake news. We heard no conspiracy theories. We heard no personal grievances," Lemon said. "We heard a president-elect and a vice president who want to work with the other side."

Jones said that Biden is a “retail politician” who won’t “be running” the White House as most people assume.

“I’m going to be interested to see how this is going to play out, but, again there are some philosophy issues going into the White House immediately on day one."

Jones went on to say, “By the way, that’s such a dishonest thing to do to the American people. Instead of coming out and saying, look, I disagree with the president, and, I am resigning because of that. You want to fake some kind of illness?”

Earthquake felt in Northern Region of Israel

An earthquake was felt today (on Shabbos) in the northern part of the country.

According to the Geological Survey, the source of the tremor was northwest of Cyprus, 436 kilometers from Nahariya, where the quake was felt at 14:45 on a magnitude 5.2.

The earthquake sent tremors through buildings in multiple places across Israel including Jerusalem and the north of the country.

The quake was also felt in Turkey, where a magnitude 5.5 earthquake was reported off the coast of Antalya. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage to buildings.

The last earthquake felt in the Israeli area occurred in June. Then, a magnitude 5.2 earthquake occurred in the Red Sea, about 220 km southwest of Eilat.

Jewish law says: If science shows COVID-19 vaccine is helpful, you should take it

 By Rabbi Avi Weiss

Last month, I joined the tens, even hundreds, of thousands of people who volunteered to be part of the COVID-19 vaccine trials. Scientists are especially looking for participants like myself: I’m a senior, closer to 80 years old than 70, with a medical history of heart disease.

I’m not telling you this to impress you. I was in the third wave of volunteers. The trial — in which there is a 1-in-3 chance that one receives a placebo — had little risk. I’m no COVID-19 hero.

Rather, my purpose is to encourage the larger community, including my own Jewish community — and especially those of older age and medical challenges — after consulting their doctor, to eagerly be inoculated once the COVID vaccines receive final approval from the Food and Drug Administration.

As a rabbi, I am a student of Jewish law, which underscores the importance of seeking out experts in their particular fields to help communities navigate worldly challenges. If the science says it’s helpful to take the vaccine, we should do so.

Indeed, for me, participation in the trial was nothing less than a spiritual high. The personal care shown by the AstraZeneca team at Montefiore Hospital in The Bronx was exceptional. Only after meticulously taking my medical history was the injection administered.

Just before, I asked if I could offer a meditation. The healers stood respectfully as I recited a prayer that some Jews say daily: “Blessed are you, Lord, healer of all flesh, who does wondrous deeds.”

The last words of the blessing may refer to God’s wondrous act of giving human beings the capacity to partner with Him to cure and make others well. Human beings are cooperators in divine wonders in this biblical vision.

Turning to those around me, I offered gratitude to the medical team for partaking in the partnership with God to fix the world, to bring cure to illness.

Jewish Woman Charts 8 years of Oppression Under Iran Regime

Jacqueline Saper at age 16 in 1977, before the 1979 Iranian Revolution (left), and at age 23 in 1982. (right).

On January 6, 2020, Jacqueline Saper appeared on a PBS Newshour broadcast to comment on the assassination of Quassim Suleimani, military commander of Iranian forces, by a US drone strike. Now, as if to bookend the year, Mohsen Fakhrizdeh, the senior Iranian nuclear scientist, was eliminated (reportedly by Israel) outside Tehran on November 27.

“The assassinations of these two influential men are a massive blow to the regime. Iran can retaliate in many fashions, but it would possibly get more gains by not taking any action,” Saper said.

A writer and speaker, Saper is not a military or political expert. However, she is often called upon to provide her opinion of Iran’s actions based on her unique life experiences that enable her to “hear between the lines of what Iran’s leaders say.”

When Saper was in her last year of high school in Tehran in 1979, almost all her friends and classmates left the country at the advent of the Iranian Revolution. Within months of the overthrow of the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi by Islamic revolutionaries, the vast majority of Iran’s 80,000 Jews fled to Israel, the United States and Europe.

Bahrain minister says he took a stroll around Jerusalem, felt its holy ‘spirit’

The Abraham Accords have brought to Israel a steady stream of dignitaries from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, visiting the country to hammer out diplomatic agreements or advance trade ties. While they always emphasize their respective countries’ respect for religious tolerance, they usually steer away from discussing in public their personal feelings about being in the Holy Land.

Not so Zayed R. Alzayani, Bahrain’s minister for industry, commerce and tourism, who spent three days in Israel this week — including a stroll through Jerusalem’s Old City, which he described as a spiritual highlight.

“I’ve always spoken to people who’ve been to Jerusalem. And they always told me: It’s probably the most spiritual city in the world. I felt it last night. I felt it,” he told The Times of Israel on Thursday during a briefing for Israeli journalists. “And the closer you get to the holy sites — I don’t know, maybe it was a weird feeling, maybe it’s just me — I felt there’s more spirit.”

Alzayani walked through the Old City’s Armenian, Jewish and Muslim quarters. He saw the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock atop the Temple Mount — the third-holiest site in Islam — from afar, though his schedule didn’t allow for a visit to these holy sites.

“When I got to the balcony where you can see the Wall and Haram al-Sharif [Temple Mount], you could feel — the air was different,” he said. “It was a nice feeling. Probably the closest I felt to that was being in Mecca and Medina, as a Muslim.”

The Obama/Biden Agenda that Undermines America’s Bond with the Jews

Among those who understood the depth of former U.S. President Barack Obama’s hostility to Israel, there’s understandable anxiety about the Obama retreads and acolytes among the foreign policy and security nominees being chosen by the prospective president-elect, Joe Biden.

Obama’s hostility is assumed to derive from his left-wing mindset which regards Israel, falsely and ahistorically, as a colonialist occupying power. He demonstrates this in his new memoir, A Promised Land, in his profoundly distorted account of the origins of the modern State of Israel.

There is, however, a deeper reason why both Obama and the left find Israel so intensely problematic, and why a Biden presidency will once again have Israel in its cross-hairs. This isn’t about foreign policy. It’s about the program for America itself.

The core of the left’s agenda is to remake the Western world; and the agenda of Obama and the American left is to remake America.

Their target is the Western nation-state and its culture. The core precepts of that culture are articulated and enshrined within the different histories, laws, religions, institutions and traditions of individual Western nations.

The left, however, deems the Western nation-state to be evil because it declares itself superior to cultures that don’t share its values while excluding those who don’t belong to it.

Trump Will Not Allow His Peace Plan Be Buried

Trump, being Trump, will not let the UN, PLO and Biden bury his Peace Plan.

The Trump-haters are circling Trump’s liferaft promising a comprehensive Middle East peace – but Trump can repel their determined efforts to sink it if he is not nominated as President when the Electoral College votes on 14 December.

United Nations Secretary-General Guterres is not remotely interested in pursuing Trump’s Peace to Prosperity Vision - which calls for Israeli sovereignty to be extended to about 30% of Judea and Samaria (West Bank) - with an independent demilitarized Palestinian Arab State being established in the remaining 70% and Gaza (Peace Plan).

Guterres remains committed to supporting Palestinian Arabs and Israelis resolving the conflict:

"in line with relevant UN resolutions, international law and bilateral agreements in pursuit of the vision of two states."

Guterres will be exhorting international support for UNSC Resolution 2334 – which Obama and Biden shamefully failed to veto on 23 December 2016 – abstaining instead - as they were departing the White House.

The Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) seemingly does not have any interest in Trump’s Peace Plan - a PLO official recently declaring:

“We have received many positive messages from the Biden team in the past few days. We are looking forward to opening a new page with the Biden administration after the damage caused by the Trump administration.”

The PLO refused to negotiate with Israel on Trump’s Peace Plan even before its details were published last January.

Biden also seems certain to trash Trump’s Peace Plan if elected America’s next President.

The Times of Israel reports:

“According to Israeli political sources, Biden’s team intends to reinstate negotiations between Israel and the PLO on the basis of the long-mordant Oslo accords. The sources claim Biden is even taking Oslo mediator Dennis Ross out of cold storage for that purpose. Ross’s longtime deputy Aaron David Miller penned an op-ed in Canada’s National Post this week where he argued that President Trump has been bad for Israel and good for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Another Biden favourite presently in cold storage – failed negotiator Martin Indyk – wrote this week:

“The first priority is to repair the damage wrought by the Trump administration. Trump's "deal" should be taken off the table when he departs the White House. Relations should be restored with the PLO and the Palestinian Authority, which were severed in the wake of Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital. U.S. aid to projects that provide vital support to the Palestinian people should be revived. The U.S. Embassy should stay in Jerusalem, Israel's designated capital, but Biden should declare that he also recognizes that Palestinians aspire to have the capital of their state in East Jerusalem”

Replacing negotiations on Trump’s detailed territorial plan of proposed subdivision with failed negotiations that have gone nowhere over the last 25 years is a recipe for disaster.

Trump’s options for progressing his Peace Plan and thwarting its detractors could include:Releasing the map that has been prepared by the joint American-Israel Mapping Committee showing the precise areas set aside for Israel and a Palestinian Arab state

-Declaring Israel is entitled to extend sovereignty in the Israel-designated area of the map at any time Israel deems appropriate

-Asserting that if the area designated for a Palestinian Arab state on the map is not accepted – then that area should remain as an Arab enclave to be administered by Hamas and the PLO as presently exists – or administered by Jordan and Egypt as the last sovereign Arab States to occupy Gaza and Judea and Samaria between 1948 and 1967.

Trump – being Trump – is not going to let his Peace Plan be buried by the UN, PLO and Biden.
