DOGE discovers $4.7 trillion in Treasury payments were missing critical code: ‘Traceability almost impossible’

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) announced Monday that some $4.7 trillion in payments from the Treasury Department were missing a critical tracking code which made tracing the transactions “almost impossible.”

The transactions were reportedly missing the Treasury Account Symbol, or TAS, an identification code which links a Treasury payment to a budget line item, according to DOGE, which described the use of such code as a “standard financial process.”

“In the Federal Government, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible,” read an X post from DOGE.

The Elon Musk-led project to curb waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government said in light of the discovery use of the TAS code is now mandatory.

“As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going,” DOGE said, thanking the Treasury Department for its “great work” implementing the change.

Musk touted the change as a “major improvement in Treasury payment integrity.”

“This was a combined effort of [DOGE, Treasury and the Federal Reserve],” Musk tweeted. “Nice work by all.”

The Treasury Department, which facilitates trillions of dollars worth of government payments every year, was one of the first agencies DOGE embedded itself in after President Trump’s inauguration.

DOGE staffers at the Treasury have been granted access to the department’s highly sensitive payment systems in an effort to root out waste, fraud and abuse.

“This is not some roving band … This is methodical and it is going to yield big savings,” Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said of DOGE during a Bloomberg TV interview last week.

DOGE recently proposed “deleting paper checks” at Treasury, arguing that it would save taxpayers “at least $750 million per year.”

The initiative noted that the Treasury Department must keep “a physical lockbox” to collect the more than 100 million checks it processes each year, which costs about $2.40 per check to maintain.

In fiscal year 2023, some $25 billion in tax refunds were delayed or lost due to returned or expired checks, according to DOGE.

IDF investigation into the massacre at the Nova Festival reveals that Hamas intended to attack Netivot, but reached the festival instead due to a navigation error

An IDF investigation into the massacre at the Supernova festival near Re'im reveals that the Hamas force that attacked the festival had initially intended to attack Netivot, but got lost along the way.

Kan reports that the force was part of the Nuseirat Brigade and numbered between 100-120 terrorists, under battalion and company commanders.

They crossed the Gaza-Israel border in the second wave, at 7:30 AM, in 14 trucks and two motorcycles.

The terrorists were equipped with two heavy machine guns, three medium machine guns, anti-tank RPGs, and SA 7 launchers for air defense. In addition, each terrorist had personal weapons like Kalashnikovs and grenades.

Due to a navigational error, they missed their original target and moved eastward in Be'eri Forest, passed Kibbutz Beeri, and began traveling along Route 232. They reached the festival region at 8:10 but only encountered the festival itself at 9:00.

The terrorists left the festival area around 10:10 and moved northward. They encountered military forces and turned towards Be'eri. Those who abducted the party-goers immediately returned to Gaza. Those who attacked Be'eri were mostly killed in the ensuing battle.

In addition to the Nuseirat Brigade from Hamas, other non-organized terrorists also attacked the Supernova festival.

364 people were murdered at the festival, most of them young adults. 44 others were captured.

Why those T-shirts were brilliant

The absolute worst thing for them was to be publicly shamed, which is precisely why putting them in the shirts - with their resonant message - was a brilliant move. And the fact that they burned them upon arriving home is further proof that it affected them

As Israel again released the most barbaric Palestinian Arab terrorists in the next phase of the hostage deal - including those with the blood of hundreds of Jews on their hands - they were photographed wearing shirts with a Star of David on the front, along with the message,

We Will Not Forgive and We Will Not Forget.

Absurdly, as the world expressed its outrage over this “torture,” a deeper problem was exposed within our own community. It is that many Jews, and even Israelis, simply do not understand the nature of Islam, or the Middle East, or our Islamonazi enemies.

Poll: Majority of Israelis fear massacre in Judea and Samaria

A new survey conducted by the Jerusalem Center for Foreign Affairs (JCFA) reveals a concerning statistic: the majority of Israeli public (62%) fears an attack similar to the October 7th massacre from the Palestinians of Judea and Samaria.

The fear is especially high among the Jewish public, with 68% expressing concern, compared to only 25% of Arab respondents. The findings also indicate that a majority of the Arab public in Israel (56%) opposes the Palestinian Authority being part of the future arrangement in Gaza.

The survey was conducted among a representative sample of over 700 Jewish and Arab participants aged 18-65. It was conducted after President Trump announced his plan for Gaza.

The new findings highlight that the Israeli public is very clear about its expectations from the Israeli leadership on "the day after." Using an online respondent panel, participants were asked about their views regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state, Trump's plan for migration from Gaza, normalization with Saudi Arabia, the possibility of Israel bombing Iran's nuclear program, and even the fear of a future war with Egypt in light of recent publications.

The survey results indicate that 67% of Israelis oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state along the '67 borders following the events of October 7. While among Jewish respondents, opposition is higher (75%), 42% of Arab respondents support the establishment of a Palestinian state unconditionally (an increase of 10% from the previous survey).

The opposition to establishing a Palestinian state persists even if the reward is normalization with Saudi Arabia – an opposition consistently above 60%.

Regarding the possibility that Hamas will remain in Gaza as a civilian entity, an overwhelming majority of survey participants (82%) oppose such a scenario: nearly all Jewish public (90%), compared to 33% of Arabs in Israel opposing. Even stronger opposition (88%) was found among Israelis to the idea that at the end of the war Hamas would remain as a ruling military entity: 94% of Jewish respondents opposed, compared to lower opposition among Arab respondents (46%).

According to the data, 60% of Israelis also oppose incorporating the Palestinian Authority into the future arrangement in Gaza, with Jewish opposition particularly high (66%). On the other hand, the Arab public is divided in its views – 44% support Palestinian Authority involvement, 25% oppose it, and 31% expressed no opinion on the matter.

When asked about their views on Trump's plan for the Gaza Strip, an overwhelming majority of Israelis (75%) supported the idea of willing emigration, while most Arab respondents (58%) opposed it.

The survey further reveals that 71% of Israelis support establishing buffer zones along the borders with Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza in the long term, out of the belief that physical separation will help prevent future attacks. Furthermore, 61% of respondents support an Israeli military strike against Iran's nuclear program, with 38% of them believing it should be coordinated with the U.S., and 23% even supporting unilateral action without coordination.

In light of recent publications suggesting the possibility of a war developing with Egypt, most Israelis (55%) are not worried about it in the foreseeable future – with no difference between Jewish and Arab respondents in Israel. However, 33% of Israelis still believe a war with Egypt is a possible scenario and express concern, compared to 12% who expressed no opinion on the matter.

Lebanon’s New Government Blocks Iranian Arms Pipeline to Hezbollah

Lebanon’s new government has blocked flights from Tehran suspected of smuggling arms to Hezbollah, leading to protests by the group’s supporters.

The decision follows Israeli threats to target Beirut’s airport if such flights continue. Hezbollah has used the airport for arms shipments, raising security concerns.

IDF Takes Out Major Hamas Leader in Lebanon

An Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon on Monday killed the head of Hamas’ military operations in the country, Israel’s army said.

The strike came as an Israeli official said that Israeli forces will remain in five strategic locations in southern Lebanon near the border after Tuesday’s deadline for their full withdrawal. The pullout is supposed to take place under the ceasefire agreement in November that ended the 14-month war between Israel and Hezbollah.

Lebanon’s government has opposed any further delay in the Israeli withdrawal.

The Israeli military said the drone strike killed Mohammad Shaheen, the head of Hamas’ operations department in Lebanon. The army accused Shaheen of “recently planning terror attacks, directed and funded by Iran, from Lebanese territory against the citizens of the state of Israel.”

Hamas confirmed Shaheen’s death but described him as a military commander.

Israeli Real-Estate Event in Boro-Park "Chickens Out" and Relocates Event After Being Threatened by Pro-Hamas Agitators

An Israeli real estate expo has been moved to a new location amid concerns about a pro-Palestinian demonstration being planned in the heart of Boro Park.

Word broke on February 16th about the protest, which was to be held on 13th Avenue and 50th Street. Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein shared news of the protest on social media platform X in an uncharacteristically strong-worded post that called on elected officials and law enforcement to ensure public safety.

“The Hamas sympathizers have decided to ‘flood’ our peaceful neighborhood of Boro Park,” wrote Eichenstein. “I demand that @NYPDnews and @NYCMayorsOffice take immediate action to prevent this hateful, targeted protest against our local Jewish community. It is YOUR responsibility to protect our neighbors and keep our streets safe! Hate has NO PLACE IN our community!”

The expo was set to take place at 6 PM at the Lumiere Hall, located on the premises of Yeshiva Yesodei Hatoran Vien, and next door to the Kesser Rizel High School Bnos Zion of Bobov.

Eichenstein also shared PAL-AWDA NY/NJ’s flyer, which described the demonstration as a “protest to stop the sale of stolen Palestinian land.” The words “Palestine is not for sale” and “Free Palestine” are printed on the flyer over images of black fists raised in protest, one of which holds a Palestinian flag. A social media post by the group derided the “Zionists in Brooklyn” for attempting “ to sell land in occupied Palestine, as part of their ongoing effort to ethnically cleanse the land of its indigenous inhabitants” and lambasted President Donald Trump for his “outrageous plans to force Palestinians out of the Gaza strip and in the wake of the displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians in the West Bank in the past month.”

Massive Fraud Uncovered: Foreign Rings Steal Billions from US Taxpayers

In a shocking revelation, Stephen Miller, Senior Policy Advisor to the President, has warned that foreign fraud rings are orchestrating a massive scam, swindling billions of dollars from the United States government. According to Miller, these fraudsters are leveraging fake Social Security numbers and identities to pilfer taxpayer benefits.

Miller alleged that these foreign nationals are infiltrating the country, armed with fabricated identities and Social Security numbers. They then use these fake credentials to illegally access and drain billions of dollars from the US taxpayer-funded benefits.

This news comes at a time when Elon Musk’s DOGE is investigating the Social Security database, sparking concerns about the vulnerability of the system. The extent of the fraud is staggering, and Miller’s warning has raised alarm bells about the need for immediate action to address this critical issue.

Delta Jet Flips Upside Down on a Snowy Toronto Runway and All 80 Aboard Survive

What's going on??? Is Hashem giving us a message???

A Delta Air Lines jet flipped on its roof while landing Monday at Toronto’s Pearson Airport, but all 80 people on board survived and those hurt had relatively minor injuries, the airport’s chief executive said.

Snow was being blown by winds gusting to 40 mph (65 kph) when the flight from Minneapolis carrying 76 passengers and four crew attempted to land at around 2:15 p.m. Communications between the tower and pilot were normal on approach and it’s not clear what went so drastically wrong when the plane touched down.

Karoline Leavitt throws Democrats' own words back in their faces in brutal takedown

Karoline Leavitt, 27, is trolling Democrats who are afraid of DOGE with a reminder that their party leaders Barack Obama and Joe Biden wanted to cut federal spending in the past.

Liberals have been in a frenzy as they attempt to halt Donald Trump's and Elon Musk's DOGE, which is ruffling feathers in Washington as bureaucrats and longtime government employees fear their jobs could be on the chopping block

Top Democrats have protested alongside federal employees outside of government agency headquarters to demand that DOGE and its lieutenants stop their quest to root out waste.

Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and others lawmakers have likened DOGE's cost cutting push to a 'constitutional crisis' as courts have sought to litigate the group's actions.

DOGE has already touted saving billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars by cutting expensive DEI and pro-LGBT initiatives within the government. It is also investigating fraud within the Social Security Administration for reportedly sending checks to dead people.

Leavitt is now brutally pointing out that the same Democrats who have been for cutting government waste in the past have been very vocal in opposition to DOGE.

'To all of the Democrats who are planning to protest this week, here’s an explanation on DOGE, from your party’s own beloved leaders!' Leavitt posted to X alongside a video of Obama and Biden lauding the same efforts DOGE is now undertaking.

In the video the two former Democratic presidents are shown talking about the importance of reforming the government to reduce frivolous government spending and waste - the exact mission DOGE is undertaking today.

'Budget reform is not an option, it's a necessity,' Obama says at the onset of the video in a speech given while he was president.

'We can't sustain a system that bleeds billions of taxpayer dollars on programs that have outlived their usefulness or exist solely because of the power of politicians, lobbyists or interest groups,' he continues in another clip.

Another portion of the supercut video shows Obama promising to go through each federal expenditure 'line by line.'

'We are going to go through our federal budget as I promised during the campaign, page by page, line by line eliminating those programs we don't need and insisting that those that we do need operate in a sensible, cost effective way,' the former president claims.

However, a Manhattan Institute analysis of government spending during the Obama era found that the 44th president signed off on $5 trillion worth of new legislative costs and drove the federal debt up an additional $4.6 trillion.

Then another Democratic hero pops on screen.

'The American people are entitled to transparency,' a younger Joe Biden says in a clip presumably taken from his vice presidency under Obama.

'They're entitled to be able to figure out where their dollars are going, and they're entitled to accountability to make sure that we're using the dollars for what we said it was for,' the 46th president claims.

'We hope to be instilling an entire new culture that not only our administration, but every succeeding administration will in fact, pursue,' Biden says of his and Obama's cost saving initiatives.

Then the video shoots back to another clip of Obama saying how 'easy' it is to root out government waste.

'What should be easy is getting rid of the pointless waste and stupid spending that doesn't benefit anybody,' Obama shares.

This one never gets old!

The Aristotle of Our Times Strikes Again!

“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken, but also let’s see it, you know, nature abhors a vacuum,” she told the performers.

“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let us know that the reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights.”

Huh?

As she spoke in K turns, her disheveled hair fell into her face. And with every inane declaration, her eyes bulged like ET and her chin receded into her head. It’s the face one makes when they’ve been studying the complete works of Kendall Jackson.

“We have to be clear-eyed. And it doesn’t mean we don’t see the beauty in everything. These things all co-exist, but I believe we fight for something, not against something,” she continued.

And to think, in an alternative brat universe, this would be our president.

Rubio in Israel Says Hamas Must Be Eradicated

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is working closely with President Donald Trump, according to a joint statement released on Sunday with visiting U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

“Contrary to what is being reported, President Trump and I are working in full cooperation and coordination,” the prime minister told Rubio, according to the statement.

“We have a shared strategy, which cannot always be detailed to the public—including when the gates of hell will open. And they will open if all our hostages are not returned, every last one of them,” it continued.

According to a statement from his office on Saturday, Netanyahu will convene the Security Cabinet “soon” to discuss Jerusalem’s response to Trump’s call for the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza to release all of the hostages it is holding.

Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to securing the release of all hostages, dismantling Hamas’s military and governing capabilities and eliminating the threat from Gaza.

Rubio emphasized that the hostages must be released and reiterated that Hamas cannot continue as a military or governing force in Gaza, saying that the terrorist group “must be eliminated.”

Rubio Shuts Up Leftist Anchor Of "Face the Nation" Nazi Regime Responsible for Holocaust, Not Free Speech

Secretary of State Marco Rubio schooled CBS News Face the Nation host’ Margaret Brennan after she strangely claimed the Holocaust happened because of too much free speech.

Brennan verbally struggled as she tried relating JD Vance’s comments on free speech to Nazis.

Brennan: “[Vance] was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide…”

Rubio: “I have to disagree with you. Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide.”

“The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime that happened to also be genocidal because they hated Jews… There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was none.”

New reform ends bureaucracy and enables immediate employment for professionals upon Aliyah.

The Israeli government has approved a historic reform, led by Minister of Aliyah and Integration Ofir Sofer, that will transform the Israeli job market for new Olim.

From now on, professionals in licensed fields will be able to start the licensing process before arriving in Israel, allowing them to integrate into the workforce quickly and help address labor shortages. This decision, aimed at removing bureaucratic barriers and encouraging Aliyah, is expected to boost economic growth and generate up to 3.8 billion ILS for the Israeli economy by 2034.

The Aliya Ministry explained that the new Olim brings valuable skills, experience, and international education in critical fields such as engineering, social work, education, finance, and medicine. However, Israel’s lengthy licensing processes have long been a major obstacle, even affecting the decision to make Aliyah. These bureaucratic hurdles delay and, in some cases, prevent Olim from working in their professions upon arrival.
