Trump DEMANDS Netanyahu Trial be Dropped NOW!!

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday issued a scathing denunciation of the legal proceedings against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, labeling the trial a "ridiculous Witch Hunt" and calling for its immediate cancellation or a pardon for the Prime Minister.

In a lengthy post on his Truth Social platform, Trump expressed his "shocked" reaction to news that Netanyahu is scheduled to appear in court again, describing the Prime Minister as a "Great War Time Prime Minister!" and a "WARRIOR, like perhaps no other Warrior in the History of Israel."

Trump's post highlighted his and Netanyahu’s shared struggle against Iran, a "very tough and brilliant longtime enemy of Israel." He asserted, "Bibi and I just went through HELL together, fighting... Iran, and Bibi could not have been better, sharper, or stronger in his LOVE for the incredible Holy Land."

The President credited Netanyahu with achieving an "elimination of potentially one of the biggest and most powerful Nuclear Weapons anywhere in the World," a feat he claimed "nobody thought was possible."

"We were fighting, literally, for the Survival of Israel, and there is nobody in Israel’s History that fought harder or more competently than Bibi Netanyahu," he wrote.

Trump noted his dismay at learning of the Prime Minister's court summons on Monday for a "long running… politically motivated case." Trump specifically mentioned the charges as "concerning cigars, a Bugs Bunny doll, and numerous other unfair charges," characterizing the entire ordeal as a "Horror Show" that has persisted "since May of 2020 - Unheard of! This is the first time a sitting Israeli Prime Minister has ever been on trial."

Trump concluded his post by writing, "Such a WITCH HUNT, for a man who has given so much, is unthinkable to me. He deserves much better than this, and so does the State of Israel." He then directly demanded, "Bibi Netanyahu’s trial should be CANCELLED, IMMEDIATELY, or a Pardon given to a Great Hero, who has done so much for the State."

Underscoring his close relationship with the Prime Minister, Trump wrote, "Perhaps there is no one that I know who could have worked in better harmony with the President of the United States, ME, than Bibi Netanyahu." He then asserted a strong commitment to intervene, declaring, "It was the United States of America that saved Israel, and now it is going to be the United States of America that saves Bibi Netanyahu. THIS TRAVESTY OF 'JUSTICE' CAN NOT BE ALLOWED!"

Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi: “No Chasunos During 3 Weeks, Even During A War” Defying Harav Yitzchak's Psak

Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Israel HaRav Kalman Bar published a halachic letter on Monday, in which he explains why, despite the war, getting married during the three weeks is forbidden.

Last week, HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Yosef called on couples from the Sephardi and even Ashkenazi sectors to get married during the three weeks rather than postpone their weddings. He explained that “there is no greater time of need than this,” and emphasized that even those who are generally machmir should be lenient this year, emphasizing, “Χ”ΧžΧ—ΧžΧ™Χ¨ Χ‘Χ–Χ” יוצא Χ©Χ›Χ¨Χ• Χ‘Χ”Χ€Χ‘Χ“Χ•.”

Although as of Tuesday morning, the war is officially over, the dilemma for couples who postponed their weddings due to the war still exists due to the difficulty in finding available chasunah halls after Tisha B’Av.

In a lengthy response to questions by engaged couples who asked whether they can marry during the three weeks, HaRav Bar paskened that there is no heter to get married during these days, despite the circumstances.

The Rav explained the reasons for the minhag not to marry during the three weeks, saying that mourning and joy are contradictory.

In addition, the Rav noted that “it is not a good siman” to marry during these days, and Χ—ΧžΧ™Χ¨Χ Χ‘Χ›Χ Χͺא ΧžΧΧ™Χ‘Χ•Χ¨Χ (danger is stricter than prohibition), and therefore we have not found any posek who permitted this, and certainly not with a fancy seudah. HaRav Bar emphasized that the poskim did not allow marriage even on the night of the 17th of Tammuz [before the fast begins], even at a sha’as hadchak (time of need).

DIN: He "couldn't find a posek?" How about Harav Yitzchak Yosef?

DIN: Apparently most Chassidim and even Yeshivishe rabbanim  do in fact allow marriage on the night of 17th of Tammuz ...

HaRav Bar noted that the Sephardim who are noheig to hold chasunos until Rosh Chodesh Av are of course, permitted to wed during those days and ended with “Χ›Χœ Χ”ΧžΧͺΧΧ‘Χœ גל Χ™Χ¨Χ•Χ©ΧœΧ™Χ Χ–Χ•Χ›Χ” ורואה Χ‘Χ©ΧžΧ—ΧͺΧ”.”

The State with the largest Jewish Population Outside of Israel Elects a Vicious Muslim Antisemite

Zohran Mamdani had a significant lead over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday night, leaving the young liberal upstart poised to land a stunning upset in a race still to be determined by a ranked choice count.

Cuomo, who was trying to make a comeback from a harassment scandal, conceded the contest less than two hours after the polls closed, saying he had called Mamdani to congratulate him.

“Tonight is his night. He deserved it. He won,” Cuomo told supporters.

The race’s ultimate outcome will be decided by a ranked choice tabulation after neither Democrat got a clear majority in the vote. Mamdani, 33, a democratic socialist member of the state Assembly, held a significant lead with about 90% of ballots counted. Mamdani was also ranked second on more ballots than Cuomo, narrowing Cuomo’s path to catch up.

As news broke of Cuomo’s concession, Mamdani supporters erupted into the chorus from “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye.”

Mamdani would be the city’s first Muslim and Indian American mayor if elected. Incumbent Mayor Eric Adams skipped the primary. He’s running as an independent in the general election. Cuomo also has the option of running in the general election.

“We are going to take a look and make some decisions,” Cuomo said.
